He should have pointed out time and time again that she needed to focus on being a shinobi, not impressing Sasuke (Og Naruto)

He should have told her to move on, and not just him but others. Jiraiya tells Naruto to move on but Tsunade and Shizune and Kakashi never tell Sakura the same?

it's hard to be mad at Kakashi for defending Sakura or not telling her to move tf on when it's clear Kishi didn't want ANYONE to tell her that except Sasuke (who he painted as a bad guy for not wanting to be with Sakura romantically, and then made his 'first steps o redemption' him opening up to her romantic feelings)

Look I'm a fan of Sakura and also NaruSaku, I also love Naruto and Sasuke as individuals, but let's keep her accountable for the bad things she too has done.

Sasuke doesn't love her. And him staying away from someone who has EXHAUSTED him into a one-sided relationship is fair and also a consequence of Sakura's action, simple as that.

Sorry anon but I gotta disagree. Sakura has her problems but she's still one of the most morally virtuous characters in the manga. Having Sasuke- a boy grieving over his lost family- actually abandon his wife/child in adulthood is exceptionally tragic. Don't know how long you've been following me but I've made more than a couple vent posts about the way Kishi writes women specifically, and the outrageously sexist ending he wrote for them. My lil' flowers deserved way better T.T

No, it was a friendship/comrades moment that would have been the same if, say, Nar*to or Kakashi were in her place. Sasuke needed someone to keep him human, so to speak, to not give in to the curse mark, and the human contact of a teammate was that. He had totally different things in mind in that moment (and pretty much in any other), and even she was more scared for him than acting in a romantic way.

Not really. Literally the only thing I can think of that's remotely appealing is the blue/pink aesthetic but that's entirely superficial

I can't think of any off the top of my head but any of their semi "decent" scenes were in the context of Team 7 acting like a family unit in part 1. They were the most civil to each other during that time but I still think it was more like a family relationship

Not off the top of my head. They had a few good friendship scenes but usually in the context of the entire friend group. They were okay to each other most of the time as friends. They didn't have much friendship development overall though so it's difficult to even remember their good moments

Nahhh girl, I really think Sakura has some mistakes upon her too and you guys should held her accountable for them regardless of her gender, if you really are a fan of hers.

Sasuke is in the wrong for abandoning his "wife" and child, but then Sakura shouldn't have harassed him to the world's end if she wanted him to at least hold some little respect for her.

Put this situation on reverse: the girl on Sasuke's place and the boy on Sakura's, you wouldn't say the shit you're saying right now.

She's someone selfish, egotistical and narcissistic who has no respect for other peoples' feelings (especially Sasuke's) and that's okay, not everyone is perfect.

Just like every other character in the serie, she has her share of faults too and it's fine to acknowledge them.

I should like to say that I am a practical person who understands a character's flaws and perceived downfalls exist for the sake of an actual reason. It is not good to actually despise a being that doesn't exist. But when I read the question, the first name that popped into my head was Uchiha Sasuke. Naruto as a series was far from perfect. Ideas fell by the wayside. Characters came in the dozens that never got fleshed out. Development was crippled by Shounen Jump forcing things on the creator. But this colossal, self-important, forever whining, shithead... War crimes. Betrayal. Pride over friendship. Trying to kill every member of his team at least once. WAR CRIMES. That bullshit final battle between him and Naruto. I will not even get into how toxic the SasuSaku shippers are most of the time (I am looking at one particular person who continues to harass me even years later in my writing for anything BUT that pairing) and how Kishi actually sanctioned the canonical marriage and birth of a child between these two when his OWN WIFE said it was a terrible idea. Sasuke by any stretch of consciousness, is the worst of husbands and a deadbeat dad. And the Boruto series, somehow, made him worse.... (Fair warning: if someone spams me with even more harassment from this post, you are getting blocked and reported. I am not kidding.)
