UK musician filming piano playing for his YouTube channel in public... a group of people waving Chinese flags, walk up to his camera and demand not to be filmed.

YouTube is trying to take down the video. Dr K will be interviewed about the incident on the Mike Graham show on TalkTV this evening Mon 22nd, 9.15 pm GMT

Update: They've been identified. The guy who shouted is called Newton Leng and works through UCL for the Confucius institute, so he is a Chinese state operative.

The woman in the hat is Adelina Jang, she's an event host for Chinese state events in the UK.

The first woman to approach is Mengying Liu, who is an influencer and CEO of Top Offer Academy Ltd. And the white guy in the background is Davis Kuma, Mengjing's boyfriend and employee at her agency.

Update 1/26/24 In the background standing next to Davis Kuma - Christine Ching Kui Lee -  CCP agent, woman at the centre of an MI5 security warning to MPs for “seeking to covertly interfere in UK politics through establishing links with established and aspiring parliamentarians across the political spectrum” and to “cultivate relationships with influential figures”. A high-profile Anglo-Chinese lawyer who received an award from Theresa May and who has donated £584,177 to the office of Labour MP.

In the UK, YouTuber Dr. K was live streaming while playing a public piano for his channel at a train station. THEN, a group waving Chinese flags approach and make demands and cause drama about his filming.

China Insider with David Zhang breaks it down, identifies them and explains their tactics. One of the group, Newton Leng, tries to manipulate the truth by shouting "Don't touch her!" at Dr. K because he touched a CCP flag held by one of the group. Leng tried to imply that Dr. K was assaulting the woman.

The CCP handler who was so rude and aggressive goes under the alias of Newton Leng or Leng Xuannian, and operates through the Hanban or Confucius Institute - the Chinese Government agency responsible for promoting Mandarin and CCP propaganda worldwide.

The lady who initially introduced herself is Mengying Liu - a CCP agent who runs a front company in the UK called 'Top Offer Academy'. They were preparing to film a communist patriotic song for Chinese state media showing global celebrations of 75 years of Communist rule.

The attack on YouTuber Brendan Kavanagh is showing the world how the CCP operate in foreign countries and online.

On Feb 2, YouTube sent Kavanagh an email about complaints (CCP) and telling him to alter his Livestream to blur faces and change their voices. Brendan is asking everyone to download the video and share it. All of the YouTubers, like this channel, using Kavanagh's livestream to create their own content helps to preserve what happened that day.

50 Cent Party aka 50 Cent Army: or wumao (/ˈwuːmaʊ/), are Internet commenters who are paid by the authorities of the People's Republic of China to spread the propaganda of the governing Chinese Communist Party (CCP). These commenters show up on any video or article which are critical of the CCP to derail, deflect and spread misinformation.

Little Pinks: xiao fenhong, is the name given to the young, hypersensitive, hyper-nationalist keyboard commandos of the People’s Republic of China. Xiao means “little” or “young” and fenhong means pink, but the expression can also mean “little fans of the Red.”  Originally the younger sisters of the predominantly male “Wolf Warriors” (who, unlike Little Pinks, have a significant offline presence, including in the Chinese foreign ministry), Little Pinks are primarily an online phenomenon, and now both male and female.  Little Pinks And Their Achy Breaky Hearts

I have been watching this piano player... the rather well-known Brendan Kavanagh for a while, the original live stream here was in London. This video may end up being taken down. This is very concerning. We are losing our world one bit at a time. The conflict begins about nine minutes in.

Elton John had donated that piano, and it is a public space in England. And the CCP people (whomever they are) attempted to have him shut down and follow their rules (laws?) from China. Updates are saying they have now roped off the piano and no one presently can play it.

Video has over 4.5 million views. It should.

And yeah... following musicians, street performers and also buskers among our world's artists is something I enjoy. Soooo much talent. And heart. Thanks.

Established in 1833, John Kavanagh's got its nickname as the bar is built into the side of Glasnevin Cemetery and gravediggers would often stop in for a pint of "the black stuff" after a hard day's work.

As Ireland's National Cemetery, Glasnevin is the final resting place for many of the island's most famous sons and daughters, including Daniel O'Connell, Maude Gonne and Brendan Behan.
