Pairing: jeon jungkook × reader

Genre: angst, fluff (sort of), smut

Summary: where taehyung helps jungkook plan for his first official date with you.

Word count: 1k-ish

Note: hi! this is a drabble of the main story 'lovefool', the chapters of which you can find on my masterlist (pinned post)! also, thank you, truly, for all the love you've given to lovefool and me.

"I think it's a good idea." Jungkook speaks thoughtfully.

"What? The banana soufflé?"

"No, the supermarket date. Definitely not the soufflé. She hates bananas."

Taehyung gasps, "How dare she!"

Jungkook shoves his best friend into the wall, earning a girlish moan from the man.

"Focus. All I know is that she hates bananas and cheese."

"CHEESE? How dare-" Taehyung is flabbergasted, but immediately cut off.

"Please, stop. I've never been this confused in my life." Jungkook puts his finger to his forehead.

"Oh? We're serious about this?" Taehyung raises a brow.

"We are." Jungkook's eyes wander to the fresh basil leaves. You can't go wrong with pesto, can you?

"Why don't you guys just make gimbap? I have my mom's homemade kimchi, I can bring you some. Just get sticky rice and whatever else she prefers." Taehyung suggests.

"Mmh. I dunno, she's a picky eater. What if she doesn't like the seaweed or the egg?"

"Huh, okay. Let's keep looking."

Jungkook and Taheyung are practicing shopping and cooking for Jungkook's and your date the following week.

Well, Jungkook is practicing and Taehyung is... eating.

They browse through the racks at the grocery store you first met at.

Taehyung, being the more romantic one of the lot, provided him with a fairly large list of date ideas and Jungkook resonated with the one where he'd take you to the grocery store where he can buy you whatever you wanted and would cook with you.

He knows you enjoy baking and French and Italian pastry and dessert, he did not have enough time to conjure up baking skills nor did he want you to end up doing all the work. Something quick and easy would be more ideal.

"I just know you're going to go back to pasta." Taehyung whistles. He pops a grape into his mouth when nobody's watching.

"I mean, it is versatile and, ya know, pretty simple to prepare... and stuff..." Jungkook pouts.

"Delicious but basic." Taehyung reiterates.

"Classic! Basic is an exaggeration, you're just snooty." Jungkook teases.

"Hey, hey, I'm a man of- of fine calibre. Pasta is good, great even, but when YOU try to make pasta without enough knowledge, on a first date that too? You're already making her do all the work and what if it sucks?"

Jungkook smiles, "That's when I offer her my huge and fat collection of takeaway menus."

"And waste her time." Taehyung continues.

"It's not- it is time we might spend talking to each other!" With that, Jungkook pushes the shopping cart filled with items, half of which he doesn't intend to buy, further into the fresh produce section.

He ponders real hard in a futile attempt at thinking of a perfect dish that he can execute and that which impresses you.

Taehyung catches up to him, "Yo."

"Yo."

"Hear me out... sandwich."

"Absolutely not." Jungkook waves him off.

"Fish! Halibut, with the crispy potato scales!"

"Oh, yes! Halibut!" Jungkook exclaims, deadpan.

"Cereal?" He sighs.

"No, that's for our second date." Jungkook smiles. "The morning after." He winks, playfully.

"You're a pig." Taehyung fakes disgust.

"Well, hello there." Jungkook spots the long, green sticks in a bunch.

"Asparagus...?"

"Yeah!"

"Didn't you tell me _____ was a picky eater?"

...

"Yeah, alright, let's keep looking."

After thirty more minutes of browsing and window shopping, Taehyung takes notice of the weird dude following him and Jungkook around.

"Jungkook, this is weird. We've been in here for over an hour, I swear the boss man has asked that blonde employee to keep an eye on us." He traces his eyes to the corner. Then, said employee abruptly kneels on the ground and begins counting the mushrooms before him.

"Hm? He's just stocking up." Jungkook states unsuspectingly, making Taehyung squint his eyes in disbelief. "You-" He pokes the centre of his chest, "Are strange." Jungkook softly groans.

Taehyung lets out another involuntary sigh, internally skimming through the various cuisines he's had before. "Do you think she'll like salmon?"

"Doesn't it make your breath smell? I want to be able to kiss her."

"Ki- okay." The dark haired man sighs. "Actually." It hits him, "Why don't you make an obento? You know how to work with those Japanese flavours, hell, make it Korean! You can, like, include a variety of food that way."

"Yeah?"

"Sure! Or maybe a hot pot?"

Jungkook's face twists up dubiously.

"JK, it's better to do something you already know. She'll appreciate it."

Jungkook considers the suggestion. He thinks it might work. He has made it with Yuna before, she seemed to love it. Taehyung loves it. He reckons he can't go wrong with something Taehyung approves of.

"That... might actually work well." He drags his words out. "Huh. Okay. Obento and hotpot, it is!"

Soon after, they buy all the required ingredients and extra snacks for Taehyung. On Jungkook.

On the drive back home, Taehyung's curiosity is through the roof. He doesn't remember the last time his best friend was interested in anyone for more than a one time date or hook up.

"Have you spoken to Yuu about it?"

"I have, yeah. I mean I told her, that I like _____. Seeing her that day at the store, I swear, it lit something inside me. It's like love at first sight. It's real! I watched this video the other day- this doctor, I think it was a doctor. She studied love or something." His eyes widen in recollection, "Biological anthropologist!"

"She explained the whole 'love at first sight' phenomenon. It's a romantic attraction that is born because this person checks out all the qualities you look for, consciously or subconsciously."

Jungkook opens his mouth, waiting for Taehyung to feed him a matcha Pocky.

"Thanks."

"So, an... alarm went off because you suddenly realised that you saw someone who you deemed to be your type?" Taehyung tries to understand his friend.

"To be honest, I think you and _____ are pretty spot on. It's perfect. Textbook love story."

"Ah... I- I don't know." Jungkook stutters, visibly blushing upon Taehyung's implication.

Taehyung inwardly thought the same thing as Jungkook when he first met you. You and Jungkook complete eachother. Taehyung felt an intense pull towards you as well.

His happiness for his friend was almost too hard to contain.

"I don't want to be cheesy right now, so I'll just pause this conversation and resume when we're not in traffic."

"But," He continues, "You look happy."

Jungkook simpers, "I am, hyung."

His use of the endearing, Korean term makes Taehyung smile twice as wide.

Almost every year, we always get a vlive that has adorable jikook moments. Let’s start with 2017. In the vlive below, Jimin literally laughed at every single thing Jungkook did and say. Once, I tried to count how many times he laughed and actually lost count. I bet Jungkook purposely does things to make Jimin laugh. That behavior continues to this day.

In 2018, I don’t believe we got a vlive with cute jikook moments. Lots of BTS and solo vlives though.

In 2019, we got the infamous Jungkook vlive below where Jungkook was sulking after being excluded from Jimin and Jin’s vlive. I’ve always loved this vlive because of all the jikook moments, especially the chest rub. This one is a classic.

In 2020, jikook did a duo vlive where they made Gimbap. The vlives were super fun and funny. Of course my fav moment was when Jimin asked Jungkook how he likes his egg cooked. I am not sure if Jungkook purposely gave a non-answer response to play with Jimin, but I am thankful for it haha. What succeeded that was the *almost kiss*. Watching it made me blush!

There are only 3 words to describe Jimin during his 2021 birthday vlive, Jungkook portion: 🎶shy, shy, shy 🎶. His saying ‘cutie, sexy, lovely’ describes him perfectly. Also, a massive Thank You to Jimin for putting the phone on speaker while talking with Jungkook. 🥹

For 2022, we were blessed with 2 vlives that had the Maknae line + hobi sunshine. I love the soft casual side convos that jikook had in the vlive below. Jimin telling Jungkook that he ate without him but can’t exercise because of his foot. Then Jungkook empathizing with him and patting him on the knee. Those two just get each other.

Most likely, the vlive below will be the last one we get in 2022 and maybe for a long long while which has jikook. They were cute with each other like their usual self: Jimin messing with Jungkook about the fan’s ‘Marry Me’ comment, Jungkook saying thank you informally to Jimin, and Jungkook laughing at Jimin’s loud slurping noises. I am going to miss seeing them on vlive/WeLive together so much!

aaHhhhh my favorite place to eat, it's so good! dont judge me, we always order like mother fuckers when we go and then eat leftovers for a week!

the staple take out order

grilled mackerel, cuz i just fucking love it and they usually run out, so if they have it, it's coming home with us

pajeon, which is my comfort food! my old roommate used to make them all the time, and sometimes we use them to make kimchi quesadillas when we're feeling particularly high

gimbap - they usually have egg, pork, pickled radish and burdock, but occasionally they've made yukhoe gimbap and that's basically a national holiday as far as im concerned

gamja-tang, which is the spiciest thing i think siobhan is willing to split with me 😂

bulgogi, it's a classic for a reason and it makes good left overs

Wedding Anniversary Celebration at Meta Restaurant

To celebrate my 3rd wedding anniversary and a long awaited date night with my wife, we decided to visit one of the Asia's Top 50 Restaurant that has been sitting in our "must visit" list for a long time: Meta Restaurant, ranked 17th in the 2023 list with One Michelin Star, is renowned for its innovative spin on Korean classics with artistic minimalistic flair, in a cozy setting with warm greys and wooden finishings.

Snacks: Yuba Salad, Salmon Sandwich, Gimbap, Tuna with Avocado, and Prawn Toast.

Tasty treats that are surprisingly refreshing and light, tantalizing the taste buds with sneak peeks of the main menu.

Below is a quick run-through of the main menu items, each dish exquisite and familiar, emitting the strong vision of metamorphosis by the chef and his culinary team, marrying French techniques with Japanese ingredients and Korean flavors to create a unique blend of influences and cultures.

Stripped Jack with Surf Clam and Squid.

Jeju Abalone with Kamtae, Wakame, and Lilybub.

Samchi with Shirako and Pen Shell Clam.

Milmyeon with Beef Tendon, Daikon, and Gochujang.

Overall, the restaurant performed to our expectations. My wife and I are new fans of Chef Sun Kim and his culinary team at Meta Restaurant. To us, the restaurant represents elevated Korean comfort food and it is worth a return visit in another season to sample new variations and creations from the chef.

Slight improvements to the restaurant include the ambient lighting to make the dishes more flattering and appealing to diners and cameras, and the overall service attentiveness to lift the restaurant's ratings in various fine dining guides.

A big thank you to Meta Restaurant for making my wedding anniversary a culinary memory to savor for years to come.

June 17- Free Day (Cat Temple)

Today was a free day so Jordan and I slept in and hung out. After that, we went to eat at the station at a pizza place we previously visited. The trip to see the cats was about an hour but it was SO worth it. I can’t express how fun it was. There were multiple rooms entirely adorned in art. It was so silly yet also impressive with how much dedication was put forth. I prayed at the cat temple and was lucky that we got to see a cat monk. He wasn’t the head monk but we still got to feed him little treats. It was the squeeze type like the ones I give my cat at home. The shrine had a museum of classic paintings and statues recreated for cats. I translated the plaques and each of them had a cute fake history about the cat artist who created it. For dinner, we ate again at Tu Casa with the amazing vegan chicken and I tried Gimbap. I talked with the staff again about how much I loved their place and how my friend Emily also visited them. I got to go to an amazing temple with beautiful art and finished the day with good food.

character(s) involved: n/a. about: duri’s on his own in the house of rubies, it’s around lunch time and instead of calling for the private chef, duri makes his own food. probably a cute lil moment for the camera, especially him looking around. trigger warnings: food cw. notes: this is lame but i thot it was cute. i was gonna write a self para of duri figuring out how to make korean potato salad with a microwave but i decided that was too hard to write. word count: 797.

it was the afternoon, duri had been laying in the bed for a bit, his leg resting (unknown to the cameras at least), and he had been reading a book that he had brought. he was meaning to be outside, talking to everyone, but he wanted just a small amount of time before lunch to just relax for a little bit, before having to really do things. this was something that he did for a little while, just enjoying his time, the noises of people doing their things outside, like some perfect summer day or something. it was probably going to be fun having to go through footage of duri just reading a book, instead of doing something else, but, he promised himself he would do something soon.

and soon did come soon, as he had gotten up, and placed the book down. his slippers pattered against the floor of the cottage, as he looked around. he didn’t fully look at the whole cottage, simply because he went to do things around outside, as well as then laying down in bed to read. he checked out some of the other things, “woahs” and giggles leaving his lips as he looked around. “ah, look at the tub!” he said, giggling, since you can only hear him on camera, since there wasn’t anything in the bathroom. but, he comes out again, before making his way to the main living space.

once there, he decided it was time for lunch. he looked around, just to see if anyone was there. he does have the privilege of a private chef, thanks to the fact the big key giving him the house of rubies. however, duri didn’t really need the private chef, truth be told. he always liked cooking on his own and he also really didn’t want to actually bother them. so, he thought it would be okay for him to simply just cook in the kitchen - it’s masterchef content again, isn’t it? he wasn’t sure if this would actually make any cut, but hey, it’s a nice little moment, right? he looked around, eyes truly curious, just to see if them were around. he catches the camera, a giggle leaving his lips. nonetheless, he moves to the kitchen area, where he’d open the fridge, seeing what was inside.

when in the fridge and cabinets, duri decides to make gimbap and gaeran mari, where he’d make enough for just one person. nonetheless, he moves to begin making the food. he starts with the gimbap first, he goes with just a classic tuna one, as that’s what he was in the mood for. he likes light things for lunch that would help keep him full and energized. plus, with it being hot out, he didn’t want anything too crazy, so he went with simple picnic foods. he moves the stove to put together a canned tuna, garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce together. he stirs it together for two minutes, before taking it off the heat, adding honey, and stirring once more, before he’d let it be. he’d fry up his carb sticks, before he’d move on to cutting up the vegetables for the gimbap. he then put together the gimbap, tightly roll it, and everything else. “ah, so good,” he says to himself, giggling once more.

luckily, duri had some left off vegetables from the gimbap to place into the gaeran mari. he cracks some eggs, before mixing to break the egg yolks. he’d add in diced carrot and green onions, before stirring that together. then, he’d use his gaeran mari cooking skills to use with the pan, and would start going - always being sure to be careful, and talk himself through it, giggling softly too as he does - it was probably quite a show for the camera. he wondered if it was only sorts of entertaining, truth be told - or would just be something ultimately skipped over. nonetheless, duri is successful, and moves to cut everything into how they should be. “tada!” he says, before he shows it to the camera, a soft chuckle leaving his lips. he cleans up the dishes that he has, always liking to get them out of the way. then, he’d move to go outside, with a camera catching up on duri. might as make it almost close to being a picnic, right?

he begins to eat the food he prepared, “mm delicious!” he says happily and sing-songy, giggling happily. it was like his own cooking show in a way and the camera was probably going to stop paying attention to him now, which he doesn’t blame - a mukbang probably isn’t what’s wanted. but, he’s happy with his decision to not bother the private chef and just did it himself.

JIN’S MILIATRY ENLISTMENT

.the day he had been delaying for almost 10 years now was finally here . THE DAY JINS MILITARY ENLISTMENT LETTER arrived in the mail.

Its the year 2022 , jin has accomplished what people most people could not even dream about .safe to say he is at the peek of his career as an artist as well as a person. His mental health has been great , his relationship with his girlfriend jisoo is going pretty well, they have dating for about 5 years now having a relationship as an idol with another idol is very hectic and difficult let alone the fact that the both of them are globally famous kpop groups. They have had their fair share of difficulties in the past but they somehow overcame . They knew the the difficulties that dating another idol would create but, patiently ,calmly and lovingly they overcame it . Not just jin but all of the members seem to have finally invested themselves in romantic relationship, after ten long years of hard work and sacrifices they finally opened up to find someone they do wanna share their lives with. Nothing changed between the members though , they still live in the same dorm , treat each other exactly how they have been since they became a group. it was chuseok and jin and jisoo had gone to jins parents house a day prior so that they can spend chuseok in seoul with their band members. they returned pretty late at night so jisoo decided to stay the night at bts dorm , which was not new at all since she usually stays for weekends there anyways , as well as the other members girlfriends .

jin was just checking his mail packages where he found something that shocked him, and confused him . his military enlistment letter . He had many questions in his mind , why now of all times , without any notice , too suddenly . everything in his life was going far too well and he didnt want to let go of that , ofcourse he always knew he would have to serve in the military someday as it was his duty as an korean and everyone who knew him knew that he would happily fulfil it . He had several times said this on national television , neither me nor any of the member are going to neglect our military service , if we are called we will surely go .

his words were ringing in his ears , he had to tell the memnbers, his girlfriend , his family and his company . from what he read he still had about 5 weeks to leave , he sighed stepping towards the dorm . As soon he entered a voice called his name, hyung what took you so long jisoo noona had already been here for about 15 minutes, says a somewhat sleepy jugkook

jin; aah nothing i was just checking mail nothing interesting and by the way why are you still awake at 2 in the morning , arent you leaving for busan today?

jk; about that , i guess i wont be going

jk; i called mom and that , and it seems like they wont be arriving to busan till 4 days later . Apparently its storming heavily in japan and all flights have been cancelled.

after about 20 minutes , when everybody was eating and joking around, jungkook teasing jimin about how he heared moans from his bedroom this morning , taehyung joined him as well. namjoon talking to seokjin and hoseok about what the did on holidays and yoongi just listening to everything and ocassionally responding to the members.

jin wanted to tell them , but he decided not to ruin the mood.

jh; hasnt the company planned anyting for chuseok, special episode or something

yg; its just a greetings video that we we will be filming here in an hour or so

jin ; jisoo is filming a chuseok vlive with her members as well, she is gonna wear a hanbok , jin said somewhat cutely,

Kismet (Chapter 14): A BTS Jin imagines fanfic

First ever fanfic. Contains fluff and smut. Please read sequentially as it is a long story arc. Please provide feedback! My IG is btskismet.

It was their last day before they would go back home. She felt a massive pit in her stomach, just thinking that she would be flying back. His flight was earlier than hers and he felt bad that he would leave ahead of her.

Seokjin hugged her from behind in bed. He was quiet just as she was and it seemed like they were thinking of the same thing.

"Jagiya, we inside whole day. Ok?", he said in English. She nodded yes as a response. "Dinner with JHope?", she asked and he said later.

He handed her an earpiece and as soon as it turned on, he said, "I want to spend this whole day with you all to myself, ok?", Seokjin said. She looked back and said alright and received a long kiss as a reply.

They spent the whole day as if they were newlyweds on their honeymoon. They had sex several times and they would stop only to rest and recharge, if not to eat. He explored every inch of her body and they couldn't keep their hands off of each other. They wore their bath robes the whole time. At any point he would get aroused, Seokjin with pounce on her again so it didn't make sense to dress up.

He was tempted to cancel on JHope and Taehyung for dinner and karaoke but he kept saying that he wanted to hear her sing.

They also tried to watch a movie in Netflix which ended as a failure. As soon as the characters started kissing, they would reach out for each other, kiss and end up doing it again.

She discovered that he likes his neck being massaged as a means to get him turned on. He wanted her on top of him more as he enjoys looking up to watch her face when she came.

What she thought as the number of times that would make Seokjin totally spent was not even close to the actual number of times needed so he would become spent. He was hungry as he was virile and he really milked her dry. At the end of each time though, she felt closer to him as she now knew his breath, his scent, his taste, his touch, his everything.

"So, what was your nightmare about? Do you remember?", she asked him while they ate some pasta and steak brought to the room.

"It was the same dream I had but there were a few things that were new. At one point, you and I were cooking together. Another thing is there was something I was reading and it got me so sad and angry. I can't remember what.."

"Is that why you shouted no in your sleep?”, she asked.

"I think so.", he said. "It's weird. Why are we dreaming the same thing?"

"I know.", she contemplated as well. "Do you think we've met before?"

Seokjin looked at her, trying to consider the prospect. "I don't know. Maybe? Do you even believe in things like that?"

"No. But it's just so strange.", she replied.

Seokjin drank some soda. "Well, no use thinking about it now. We'll just stress ourselves figuring it out."

She nodded. Seokjin finished his food and so did she. As she was about to clear the table, Seokjin pulled her away. "Come on, we should have a warm bath now because I'm not done with you yet." She smiled and allowed him to lead her to the bathroom.

They met at a restaurant called Yakiniku Sanshirou which was not far from the hotel. Seokjin and her decided to walk since it was just 12 minutes away and the weather, though cold, was nice in the evening. They decided to meet JHope and Taehyung there around 9pm.

They leisurely walked to the place as they were enjoying the quiet streets with several people walking. The location of the restaurant wasn’t in the touristy side of Otaru so there would be less people to worry about. Just the same, they reserved the booth at the back so it would be secluded.

Seokjin was looking at her as they were walking. “What?”, she asked. He smiled and then touched the tip of her nose. “Your nose is a little red... and cold!”, he said laughing.

She put her hand to her nose, concerned about how it looked. “Is it that bad?”, she said and felt conscious. He swayed his head. “No. It matches your cheeks since you’re pretty flushed.”

She had an expression of panic and started to look for her mirror in her bag. Seokjin laughed and stopped her by grabbing her hands. “Don’t do anything. I’m to blame that’s why you look like that.” He looked at her knowingly and winked.

“Yes, you’re the culprit. The many things you did to me... tsk, tsk...”, she said.

Frankly, she felt like her legs were about to fall off. She hasn’t had sex that much and that long EVER. It made her giggle inside just thinking about it.

The restaurant comprised of two floors and it looked like two container vans on top of each other. It had a simple facade with a glass door in front and lamps pointed at the restaurant name in Japanese. It wasn’t a flashy place but at 10 steps away, the scent of grilled meat wafted about. Seokjin quickened his pace when he smelled it and was eager to go in.

They were the first ones to get there. The first floor was filled with people but the second floor was hardly filled. The tables upstairs were more for smaller groups and the first floor catered to bigger groups.

They checked the menu right away and Seokjin was thrilled that though it was a yakiniku, there was more Korean fare than Japanese.

Seokjin started ordering everything Korean in the menu as well as pork and beef to be grilled. “Have you tried yukgaejang before?”, he asked her. She swayed her head. “It’s beef and vegetable soup. Really good!”, he said and told the waiter they want one. “Ah! And Soju and Otaru beer! Kudasai? Arigatou!”

She looked at the English version of the menu and said: “Can we get some Stone Bowl Bibimbap? I love those.”, she asked.

Seokjin smiled and ordered one. “Well, look at you! And I thought the only Korean food you eat is grilled meat and japchae...”

“Ha! I’m not as uncultured as you think. I appreciate Korean food as well, you know. I just can’t eat it if it is too hot.”, she interjected.

“Name the Korean food you eat then!”, he challenged her.

She counted and focused on remembering the names: “Bibimbap, japchae, bulgogi, kimchi... uh... samgyupsal, kim... pajeon, mandu, gimbap...”

As she was providing her list, JHope and Tae arrived. She didn’t notice them and Seokjin didn’t make her feel that they were behind her, listening to her list.

“... Tteokboki, bingsu... and...”, she trailed off and covered her face with her hands, trying to recall the names.

“Ah! Lotte Pepero sticks and Calbee Honey Butter Chips!”, she exclaimed.

She heard loud clapping behind her which made her jump and Seokjin was laughing and clapping at her reaction. She saw JHope and Taehyung clapping. JHope was saying wow amazing while Taehyung was clapping softly though he had a calm expression.

Seokjin stood up and hugged both of them and then sat beside her. JHope and Taehyung sat on the other side.

“You know lots Korean food, ah?”, JHope said in English. She smiled sweetly at him. “Yes, I like Korean food.”

JHope, Taehyung and Seokjin started talking in Korean and she understood from Seokjin’s translation that they wanted to know the food they ordered.

JHope asked for the earpiece from Seokjin and started talking to her. “So, looks like we will go to karaoke tonight! I heard from Jin hyung that you sing.”

“Not that much. I’m not as good as you guys.”, she said shyly.

“Ah, I am interested to hear this song Jin hyung messaged me about.”, he pulled out his phone to check the message. “Fly me to the moon?”

She smiled. “If they have it there, I can sing it. It’s a classic song so I’m not sure if they will have it there.”

“Well, let’s see! I want to hear your voice. Maybe you can help us in the next album!”, JHope chided. She said he was sweet and asked him questions about his Hope World album.

In the corner of her eye, she observed Seokjin speaking with Taehyung in a calm but somewhat formal manner. Taehyung was acting more cordially to him. She also noticed that he would steal glances to look at her talking to JHope and most especially in instances when Seokjin gave her a piece of meat or vegetable he grilled. He even cut up some pieces just for her to eat. Taehyung didn’t look annoyed or upset but more of taking stock of what he was observing.

Mash Karaoke was one of only four Karaoke joints in Otaru. It was on the third floor of a nondescript building, 15 minutes away by foot from the restaurant. They got to go there right away after their manager and staff dropped them off. They told the guys they would come back for JHope and Taehyung around 2am or earlier if they wanted to.

JHope said that he wanted to be the one to choose the room as he wanted it to be as spacious as possible. He had a tendency to dance if the songs they sing are upbeat and fun. Seokjin was pleased about JHope’s enthusiasm. Taehyung also was thrilled and looked at the selection of songs right away.

They started to sing some of the Korean songs that were on the list. As the beer and soju came, they started singing song after song. She wasn’t familiar with all the songs they sang but there was one that she recognized.

Seokjin started singing the song he sang with JK in one Bangtan Bomb episode. “I know this song!”, she said to JHope. “This is Wildflower by Park Hyo Shin, right?”

“Yes! Woowwww, you know it! Do you know a lot of Korean songs?”, JHope asked.

“Just a few that’s not from you guys. Most of the Korean songs I know are from your group haha.”

JHope then got her attention and pointed at Seokjin, who was looking at her as he was singing the chorus. She felt a little shy that he was paying attention to her as he sang. She knew the song was about love lost that couldn’t be forgotten. It made her feel sad and she knew that he chose this for the reason that they would be parting soon. She was really close to crying but he belted out the refrain and she was blown away. Ohmigod, he didn’t sound like this in the video, she thought. He really has improved in his singing.

They all clapped for him when he ended his song. She smiled and said it was beautiful. He sat beside her and kissed her cheek slowly. “Saranghae.”, he whispered which made her blush.

Taehyung then stood up and went close to the screen to sing his song. She wasn’t sure what song it was but it sounded very lonely. She looked at Seokjin, who was looking through the songbook for another song to sing.

After he sang, she clapped and gave him a standing ovation. She surprised JHope and Seokjin but most especially Taehyung. “JHope, can you please let him know that it was beautiful and I’ve never heard this song until today but the song matches his voice perfectly that he should’ve sang it originally?” JHope translated for her and Taehyung had a big smile after that. He said thanks and blushed slightly.

She noticed that the next song was also Taehyung’s choice: Someone Like You by Adele. She already had a chance to make Taehyung smile - she was thinking she could do more to make him comfortable with her.

“Jagiya, you haven’t sung anything!”, Seokjin exclaimed. She was surprised that he got the earpiece from JHope and passed the song book to her.

“I know. Would you mind passing the earpiece to Taehyung please? I want to ask him something.”

Seokjin said ok but was a little curious as to what she meant. He took it off and explained it to Taehyung who looked at her as he wore the earpiece. “Hi. Yes?”, he asked.

She explained what she wanted and he was listening intently. He nodded and said sure. JHope and Seokjin were wondering what they were talking about but as soon as Taehyung pressed play for the next song, he handed one microphone to her. Seokjin and JHope clapped excitedly when they realized they were going to do a duet.

Taehyung started the first verse while she took the second one. She adjusted to the lower key best as possible and even had a chance to blend with Taehyung in several verses.

After the song, Taehyung gave her a high five since they did quite well together. JHope stood up to give them hugs and Seokjin shook Taehyung’s hand and hugged him.

“Jagiya! You have a great voice. I’m sooo proud!”, Seokjin beamed. “Did I also do a good job in connecting with Taehyung?”, she whispered to him. Seokjin gave her two thumbs up. “Thanks for doing that. I think he’s more relaxed now and more open to you.”

They enjoyed more songs together. They sang several songs together from Psy, Girls Generation, Drake, some of their own songs and even Despacito (which Seokjin danced to). JHope also sang a few upbeat songs and when they were getting tipsy, they had a screaming match while singing So Chan Whee’s Tears. She found it so funny that they were all trying to sing/scream the chorus and they danced like girls.

As they started to get more drunk, she decided it was time for her to sing more. She asked the guys if she could sing her usual lineup of songs. “Since you three have had your own mini concert already and are super drunk...”, she expressed jokingly.

“Yeah, come on!!!”, JHope shouted, red-faced and smiling. Taehyung, who looked a little sleepy, raised his glass of soju to her and mouthed the words go, go, go. Seokjin sat there, massaging her back loudly said, “Show them how it’s done, Jagiya!”

She sang a few songs in succession: Broken-Hearted Girl by Beyonce, Million Reasons by Lady Gaga and Katamoi by Aimer (which JHope recorded since he recognized it as a song RM shared via twitter).

Seokjin was impressed in her singing and kept hugging her after each song she sang. He also kept looking for Fly Me To The Moon but they didn’t have it which made him pout.

She cleared her throat and said, “First of all, I want to say I am very honored to have half of the famous BTS group here to listen to me sing tonight...”, she said, as they were hooting and Seokjin translating in the background.

“My last song for tonight is a Japanese love song that I have not ever sang in public. But I will now and I am dedicating it to my jagiya, Kim Seokjin...”

She sang Final Distance by Utada Hikaru. Seokjin watched her with a smile as she sang it. JHope showed him his phone with the lyrics of the song in Korean. As he was reading it, Seokjin’s expression changed into sadness and quietly watched her sing the song with as much emotion as she could pour into it.
