On the poll I put up yesterday people overwhelmingly voted to see my old Chainsaw Man colorings so I will be posting them daily as well as sharing a new page or two on Tuesday when the next chapter drops!

started watching the chainsaw anime and im disappointed with how they adapted this scene. i can understand cutting the dude’s daughter being kidnapped by a devil and speeding along to denji meeting aki, but i always found it really striking how makima could easily have handled this herself but is so apathetic that she dumps it on denji for the sake of her fucking udon. the way she cheerfully, coldly threatens him with death the instant he questions her was so creepy. 

even with them cutting the child kidnapping its strange to me how the anime reversed the order of denji’s first interaction with makima. in the manga she gives him a coat and he’s smitten then we get this scene where he’s stunned by how cold she is. the anime reversed it so she’s cold to him at the start, then gives him the coat and he’s smitten. its a weird change.

i do think denji and yuuji would get along but i think denji has such a horrific sense of what’s normal that it would start to freak out yuuji really quickly. like sure when yuuji goes “i have a demon inside of me that’s super evil and eventually i’ll be executed for it” denji can respond with “oh that sucks the demon inside of me is my dog and loves me”. but if denji met any of jujutsu high’s staff members, he’d ask yuuji, “oh cool so which one of them promised that you get to sleep with them in the exchange for attending the school” and yuuji would be like “WHAT? NONE OF THEM? WHAT THE FUCK” and denji would be like “what. wait is that bad”
