Wide Open Spaces in White Sands National Park by Mark Stevens

A setting looking to the south while taking in views across white sands and dune formations present along the Alkali Flat Trail in White Sands National Park. For this image, I was walking along a downward slope of a dune ridge and was able to capture a sweeping view from that high ground, looking across the wave upon wave of sand dunes.
The portal-zooms of David Lynch: ERASERHEAD (1977) x MULHOLLAND DR. (2001) x BLUE VELVET (1986) x TWIN PEAKS (pilot, 1990) x DUNE (1984) x INLAND EMPIRE (2006). (That's clockwise from Top-L.)
I know that the fandom is currently thirsting over Feyd-Rautha but I just can't help thinking of my crush on Piter de Vries. Like my heart literally flew out of my chest the first time I saw him on screen!?! And the lack of content for him makes me feel so alone in this 😓 He will forever stay my evil mentat daddy🥺
Seeing the Sights of White Sands National Park by Mark Stevens

A setting looking to the west while taking in views across the white sands along the Dune Life Nature Trail in that part of the national park. What I wanted to capture with this image was the varied plant-life present as I was hiking the trail. I also felt that helped to create a layered look, from near to far, with the different sand dune ridges present, leading up to the distant horizon with the mountains.
always found the allegations that Dune is sexist because the women have no power funny because it’s really that the women are extremely powerful in the most sexist way possible
