So I found out in a Pokémon Masters OST comments section of all places that Atticus shows up as a special vendor in the auction market in Porto Marinada, and the things he sells are clothing items that are easter eggs from past games. The thing I find weird about it is that Atticus himself says that he "took inspiration" from clothing items to make replicas of them to sell. Which is fine except for the fact that there are some items he should have NO WAY OF KNOWING IT EXISTS.

So for funsies I'm ranking all of Atticus's auction items by how likely it is that he and the average Pokémon citizen would be aware of the existence of the things they're replicas of

Ball Guy Helmet: 10/10

Literally a famous sports mascot. Maybe if you weren't into battles you'd be unfamiliar with him but I bet if you typed Pokémon League Galar into PokéGoogle, he'd show up everywhere. There's merch of him too. Cursed, cursed merch. Plus, Penny is from Galar so she most likely told Atticus about the Ball Guy.

Replica Leader Bag: 9/10

More obscure than the Ball Guy, but again. Penny is from Galar, she probably informed Atticus about it. Marnie is the Dark Type Gym Leader at this point. Penny knows about Marnie as much as Paldea trainers know about their Gym Leaders, especially if Atticus decided to look for any neat styles he could copy from them.

Replica Dragon Gloves: 8/10

I fully blame Giacomo for this one. Had to Google Ryuki myself because I'm not familiar with his lore, but apparently he's a famous rock guitarist. Giacomo literally wrote the background music for Team Star, I bet he knows his musicians. I can 110% picture him running up to Atticus like "DUDE DUDE YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS"

Replica Expansion Suit Helmet: 7/10

Ranks surprisingly high considering that nobody in the Pokémon fandom knows what this it because 90% of players dont know that X and Y has a post game story, but assuming Scarlet and Violet takes place a few years after X and Y's post game, Emma has probably been working as Essentia for a few years at this point. A superhero working in the capital city of the region next door to Paldea is probably gonna be recognisable

Replica Aether Shoes: …..5/10???

Uhh….. Umm…. Huh????? I guess the Aether Foundation is famous… But THAT famous…? Would a guy in Spain know about an animal conservation company from Hawaii? And even if if they are that famous, I certainly don't know the kind of shoes Apple employees wear. Or Mc Donald's employees. Or literally any other multinational company. Why the shoes, Atticus? How do you know about the shoes? Why?????

Pokemon/Marvel Crossover headcanons: Emma

This is the sequel to the post where I wrote some headcanons about Looker being in the Marvel universe.

She spent her early life in an orphanage or foster care system, before running away to live on the streets in San Francisco.

The experiments involving the Essentia suit were probably the work of Hydra or some other evil Marvel organization. I'm not super familiar with them all.

She's met what I've dubbed "the bug squad": Scott, Hope, and company. She may or may not have helped Scott with some minor burglaries during their criminal days.

Her superpowers include agility, super parkour, enhanced hearing and sight, and some psychic powers.

Her story (meeting Looker, being a test subject, eventually becoming a detective) is similar to her XY backstory.

Present-day: lives in SF with Looker, Anabel, and their cat, Mimi.

She's dyslexic and autistic, so school can be hard for her.

Emma is pen pals with Peter, MJ, and Ned. They didn't get along at first. Peter first met Emma in her Essentia suit and thought she was a bad guy.

Mimi isn't a regular cat-- rather, she's a species of alien cat. (Similar to Goose from Captain Marvel, but not the same species.) She and Emma can sense each other's feelings.

My thoughts and theories on Pokemon Legends Z-A:

Modern Day Kalos, maybe 1-3 years after, at most 10.

Nothing about it screams overly future or past, all NPCs look modern.

Basically a "finish what we started" game since XY wasn't allowed time to be fully explored

Genuinely will be little to nothing alike to PLA gameplay and story wise

Map might be approximately the same size as BB Academy's (ehehe i made a comparison using BOTW and the human size scale in the teaser)

By that extent, this is how big this map is compared to PLA's maps

Wild Pokemon will be caught within Lumiose city and as time progresses, more diverse and stronger Pokemon will start appearing.

In the case there are areas "outside" of Lumiose city, probably a surrounding circumference outside the walls or an entire underground section with fake biomes just like BB Academy? Maybe underground old city? ... A giant sinkhole underneath Lumiose City.... a /crater/ where a blast hit...

Emma might be part of this story, since she got a spotlight for the Kalos Villain arc and a reference in Pokemon SV's DLC, with her Essentia helmet appearing. It's not confirmed, but it's a possibility. If so, I would love it if Looker AND Anabel returned. I would be sad if only Looker and Emma returned with no sign of Anabel. ;;

Hypothetical Pokemon Chronicles 2 episodes and murmurs

Goh and the Symbol of Knowledge! Under recommendation of Professor Cerise, Goh travels to Cerulean City in the Kanto region to study under somebody who’s knowledgeable in various Pokemon. Much to his surprise that somebody turns out to be one of the Kanto Frontier Brains, Noland! What can Goh learn from him when it comes to high intensity battles where you don’t get to choose your own Pokemon? And what’s with that chill in the air?

-Goh meets up with Noland, after all his specialty is battling with numerous different species of Pokemon.

-Probably some lesson to do with Noland and Articuno, about non-caught Pokemon having just as much of a connection as caught ones!

-I think it’d be neat if they had a non-official battle y'know

A Battle Between Contest Royalty!

While May, Max, Serena, and Lisia travel around Hoenn together they have a surprise encounter while signing up for the next big contest: one of the Top Coordinators, Marina, is rumoured to be participating too! Will this be an exciting time to show off their skills, or will their nerves get to them? One thing’s for sure, this will be a contest to write down in history!

-GEN ¾ STYLE CONTESTS. Both battle and appeal sections. -I think May is the one to get to fight Marina in the final round, surpassing Lisia and Serena! May deserves to win <3

-Get to check in with Marina other than a cameo after all these years! See how her Pokemon have trained and see if she has any new team members!

-Have a scene of their companions/friends/rivals from their travels watching on the tv <3 [put Chaz in the anime watching Lisia’s section with Wallace, maybe cameo Brendan too he hasn't been seen since late gen4, idk abt Serena but may has drew Harley and Solidad! Maybe Norman and Caroline cameo. VINCENT AND JIMMY FOR MARINA!!!!!!!]

A Lumiose Mystery! Looker gets reports of a mysterious person stealing other civilian’s Pokemon at night across Lumiose City, deciding to investigate the happenings right outside the Looker Bureau! But just why does his young assistant Emma disappear at night, leaving behind her trusted partner Pokemon around the same time? Are they connected? Just what does this Essentia person have planned? And why does Mimi seem so determined to investigate?

-Emma and Mimi the Espurr debut! Loosely just the Essentia postgame X/Y plot in an episode

Fight to the finish!

During his travels in the Sinnoh Region, Jimmy has to wait out before the next big tournament battle opens up. He decides to take his time sizing up the competition, little does he know Team Rocket is on the hunt for an elusive Pokemon nearby. Without his travelling companions by his side, he has to get help from some newfound friends to win! Can he, Lucas, and Brendan win against a returning and more powerful Atilla and Hun? Or will they be unable to stop their capture of the legendary Pokemon Enamorus?

-Some of the main characters we’ve seen have their own journeys in the movies and such! Return of Hun and Attila post-Ranger: Manaphy!

While enjoying some down time, Dawn and Zoey spend some catching up time together… But when a strange crack in the sky forms, can they work together to fight back the Pokemon that seemed to be summoned by the storm? And just what’s with these giant red eyed Pokemon?

Tracey Sketches It All!

Tracey takes advantage of a much needed vacation, choosing to get a ticket for the Magnet Train to see the sights of Johto! While travelling, just what rare pokemon will he see? Thankfully, he started the journey with an empty sketchbook, so let's see what on the horizon he sets his eyes on!

While lost on his way to the Survival Area he encounters a certain kid and his Pikachu among the mountains of route 225. Can they overcome their differences and make it to the Survival Area in one piece, or will they get turned around… Yet again!?

Getting word of Iris’ rise to the champion title, Georgia takes it upon herself to train her team and challenge Iris to another battle. But this proves one hurdle; Her newly caught Doublade just doesn’t seem to want to evolve! Will some reluctant offered aid from Burgundy help, or is this a lost cause?

После того, как Зигард остановил команду "Пламя", доктору Ксеросику удалось скрыться и даже возобновить научную деятельность. В работе над новым проектом ему помогает женщина с кодовым именем Эссенция. Однажды доктор посылает ее совершить ограбление покецентра.

Набросок идеи, родившейся из обсуждений вопроса о том, мог ли в аниме Лисандр выжить. Совмещение сюжета сериала с игровым каноном вполне создает такую возможность. Это, конечно, всего лишь допущения, хотя, как мне кажется, в мире покемонов работают и не такие повороты.

After Zygarde stopped Team Flare, Dr. Xerosic managed to escape and even resume his scientific activities. A woman codenamed Essentia helps him work on a new project. One day, the doctor sends her to rob a Poké Center.

A sketch of an idea that came from discussions about whether Lysandre could have survived in the anime. Combining the plot of the series with the game canon quite creates such an opportunity. These, of course, are just assumptions, although it seems to me that not such twists work in the world of Pokemon.

So I have the raws of the XY epilogue, and I am going through every panel with Google Translate. This is kind of a summary in list form.

Again to reiturate, I got this all from Google Translate, so bits may be off, but I think I got the general gist of it.

Trevor is now living with his older sister in Lumiose City.

The epilogue does take place some time after X's succession ceremony.

One day, as Trevor is on his way to work at Sycamore's lab (it's said that Sycamore won't be in today), a strange ball whooshes past him.

Outside the lab, Trevor meets the three Mega Evolution brothers, who send out and Mega Evolve their Pokemon. While Trevor studies their Pokemon for a research project, he narrates that Tierno is at a dancing festival and Shauna is in a grooming competition, so they're both out of town.

After they finish for the day, they decide to go out for dinner. As they're talking and enjoying their drinks, Cassius sees Trevor and greets him. Trevor asks how things are going, and Cassius says he just got back from yelling at the cops. Emma was being accused of vandalism and Cassius provided an alibi for her.

Cassius takes Trevor and the brothers to the scene of the crime, the Lumiose Museum. The lady behind the counter lets them in and says she'll do whatever she can to help Emma. Turns out she's one of Cassius' old assistants (the one with the spiky mohawk), who has since gotten another job.

The museum is completely trashed. Cassius shows Trevor a photo taken by the security cameras, it featuring Essentia fighting the strange ball from earlier. Trevor asks what the suit from Pokemon Village is doing here, and Cassis says that the Expansion Suit was wrecked from that last battle and was taken by the police, so it should be in the evidence warehouse.

Cassius wonders if there's more than one suit, and Trevor agrees that despite Team Flare being defeated, they still may have supporters with money and power.

Trevor recognizes the ball, and Peche points to a trench in the ground that the ball probably made. Or thinks thinks some of the damage was done by a steel-type move. Trevor takes out Y's Pokedex (she lent it to him for his research), and starts typing in the Pokemon's typing, shape, and color, and an image of Magearna pops up. Trevor reads its entry, how it's an artificial Pokemon made 500 years ago and it's believed to be one of a kind, as well as its full typing, steel and fairy.

Cassius says that they found the culprit, but Trevor reminds him that they still don't know who's in the Expansion Suit and why. Cassius decides that they should stay in the museum since criminals always return to the scene of the crime.

They all head to the security room, where one old security guard is watching the screens. Cassius' assistant leaves, and the guys stare at the monitors until Magearna appears. They all rush out.

Cassius and the brothers all send out their Pokemon, and Magearna unfolds itself. Their Pokemon attack it, and Magearna fights them off easily. Trevor notes that it suddenly stops, however everyone immediately jumps on the chance to finish if off. Trevor blocks their attacks with his own Florges.

Before Trevor can explain why he protected Magearna, it goes back to ball form but also clamps on his arm, rolling away and dragging him with it.

Cassius has no idea what's going on, but then he sees the security guard from before taking a painting off the wall. Cassius asks him what he's doing, but freaks when he sees the electronic E on the guy's face. 'Essentia' promptly dashes out of the museum with the painting.

Magearna drags Trevor outside, and Magearna tries gesturing to him. Trevor wishes there is a way for it to communicate with him, and remembers that he had is Holocaster recording the battle. He projects the recording and then asks why it stopped attacking before. It points to something on the projection, but before Trevor can get a good look, 'Essentia' attacks them, with a Barbaracle out.

Magearna gets ready to attack, but immediately freezes when the Barbarcle holds up the stolen painting like a shield. Barbarcle get a good hit in, so Trevor has his Florges attack Barbarcle before using Vine Whip to grab the painting.

Now that the painting is safe, Magearna fires off a Fleur Cannon that would've killed 'Essentia', had anyone actually been in the suit. Turns out it was empty.

Xerosic, in an interrogation room, talks about the first version of the Expansion Suit that was to be controlled by AI alone. He originally programmed it to look for Xerneas and Yvetal, but he ultimately abandoned it in one of Team Flare's hideouts because Essentia (Emma) was such a success. However, he doesn't know how it reactivated itself. He then goes into a frenzy, theorizing that somehow the AI took its original purpose and updated it into searching for all legendary Pokemon. He begs his interrogator(?) to call a lawyer as his work can be used for great things, that if someone sponsors him, he could be released from jail. (uh...this feels...ominous...)

Emma gets her name cleared, and apparently the painting that Magearna was trying to protect was of its creator. It just wanted to see its creator's face again, and the museum allows it to come whenever it wants just to look at them again.

Trevor says he has to go back to the lab and get ready for an interview. He's going to go to another region to a Trainer's School, and that it's mainly for Delphox's sake.

Cassius remember that after Delphox was liberated from Malva, it still wouldn't listen or open up to any of the Vaniville kids. Trevor states that he found someone who's an expert in 'liberating', and Cassius wants to know what kind of intimidating being could force Delphox to open up. Trevor's replies that it's the opposite, it's someone that Pokemon can't help but to want to look after.

So now we're at the Asperita Trainer's School, and Trevor has set up a video chat with X and Y. Whitley has shown that Delphox has accepted her, and then Trevor asks how Shalour City is doing. X replies that he thinks that reconstruction is starting next month, with Korrina working hard rebuilding the Tower of Mastery.

The conversation that turns to how Gurkinn and Sycamore (are?were?) in the Hoenn region, to further study Mega Evolution.

Y suddenly gets pensive at the mention of Hoenn, then asks X if he moved from there before 'everything' happened. (X is from Hoenn!)

Apparently something in Viola's old reports reminded Y of what happened in Hoenn. Y thinks that maybe because of all the crazy shit that happened in Hoenn in those few days scared so many adults across the world into losing themselves and then supporting Team Flare for a sense of stability...(oh shit!)

Something interesting how Emma seems afraid about Pokemon yet they all like playing with her according to Xerosic

I wouldn't say she still has those fears, she was definitely wary of them in her very early days in Lumiose due to the dangers they presented, whereas by the time of Essentia she's spent more time around Mimi and become more relaxed around Pokemon which in turn let them open up to her
