But she tosses him her mic. "S'all about the mood, and no 'ffense, acting ain't gonna cut it. You really have to feel it, so try me. Think of something that's got ya lustful, wanting, and give it a try~" There's just no way she's singing with him on stage without being convinced he can do it first! || did you say singing? owo

   Vil softly scoffs at her query, rolling his eyes.  “ I’m not stupid, you must forget acting is but a small thing of what I do. ”  For knowing him so well, as she likes to act, somehow she manages to underestimate him time and time again.  Quite disappointing.  How did she talk him into doing this?  Simple, she didn’t.  Rather, he convinced himself.

  True, Thea pitched the idea and Vil took a day or two to think it over.  Performing for Monstro Lounge is simply his way of broadening his horizons.  Shallow, perhaps, but networking is important.  He’s more surprised she’d even suggest the idea before his managers did.  Undoubtedly, some students from Octavinelle follow him if not most but there’s certainly a lot of ground he hadn’t covered.  Some of those students heard about Vil rehearsing and even showed up (despite the two of them making an effort at keeping things quiet).  Word gets out.  Without any proper security as most of his rehearsals went, what could you do about it?

    Taking his spot on the stage, it comes to him like second nature.  The atmosphere, the rehearsal, eyes on him — some quite possibly hoping for him to mess up — Vil was confident in his abilities.  He has terrific — if not perfect — control over his voice (opera classes have honed that skill of his in earlier years, Vil simply maintained it and put newer studies into practice).  

  He waited for the small group of band students to start and as soon as they did, they’d fall in sync; working in unison.  “ You took a chance, made some other plans. Bet you didn’t think that they would come crashing down, no.  You don’t have to say what you did. ”

    As the performance progressed, Vil made himself comfortable — performing as if this were an actual show.  How he’d glance at her and the small audience seated around her, he did more than feel it, as she suggested.  He felt it, grasped it, put it in a box and giftwrapped it.

   “ But girl, I refuse.  You’ve got me confused with some other guy. Them bridges will burn. Now it’s your turn to cry.  Cry me a river.  Cry me a river. ”   In case Thea (or any other viewers) forgot, this was a rehearsal.  A trial (for something that was practically guaranteed with his skill).  Yet seeing how he’d shoot daggers every now and again before returning to a more alluring expression, anyone would feel the piercing sting his performance gave.  Now, if this were a live show at the correct lounge ...

for esics i wanted to make music that only appealed to few

esics is from esoteric, -esos meaning "within oneself" (and i intended it to be a rhetoric thing about niche discourse, interests, styles, similar to avant garde)

but within jessics is essic, which can be rearranged to esics

As a skilled artist Elise adds wonderful drawings to the book as well as photos of the incredible sculptures she creates of her characters and it adds so much to the reading experience.⁣

I can’t wait for her to publish more of this awesome series.

500 gr.miele Acacia

1 cucchiaio fiori di lavanda essiccati

1 cucchiaio di foglie di verbena essicate

1 cucchiaio di boccioli di rosa essiccati

1 goccia di O.Ess. di gelsomino

1 goccia di O.Ess. di neroli

Sminuzzare le erbe e unirle al miele rimescolando con cura.

Conservare per tre settimane.

Filtrare il miele e aggiungere le gocce di olio essenziale.

ELF HONEY

500 gr. Acacia honey

1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers

1 tablespoon of dried verbena leaves

1 tablespoon of dried rosebuds

1 drop of O.Ess. of jasmine

1 drop of O.Ess. by neroli

Chop the herbs and add them to the honey, stirring carefully.

Keep for three weeks.

Filter the honey and add the drops of essential oil.
