Frank Medrano & Louis Lombardi both started their film careers together in the 1993 film, Amongst Friends as a pair of low level crooks in Brooklyn. I don’t know if they were already a duo doing comedy routines before this or if they were randomly paired up. But they would appear in 6 more projects together. Next was The Making of ‘...and God Spoke, also in 1993 as a pair of Teamsters on a movie set and also High Kicks a low budget video with dismal reviews, again in 1993. Next was the pilot for the TV version of Hardball, playing hecklers of the baseball team, which aired in 1994. In these appearances, Frank seemed to be dominant. Speaking more lines and getting more close-ups. Louis seemed to be just a ‘me too’ kind of character. In 1995, they appeared together in one scene of The Usual Suspects. In 1997, they appeared in Father’s Day and Suicide Kings, but didn’t share any scenes together. It seemed peculiar that both were hired for the films but not as a team. Suicide Kings, especially, since they were paired up, but not with each other. Louis was paired with Dennis Leary and Frank with Brad Garrett.
Since this time Louis Lombardi has become the more recognizable of the two, appearing as a regular in ‘24′ for 2 seasons and as a recurring FBI Agent in The Sopranos. Frank Medrano is known for the great scene in Shawshank Redemption.

Stop putting actors and actresses in fat suits.
How and why is this such a thing now? There are fat people with talent, fucking hell. Knock it off, Hollywood.
I’m not impressed that Tom Hanks, ,an actor I love, sat through five hours of makeup to be fat. I’m appalled. I won’t pay to see that, either.

Featuring that one episode where Luke is forced to go on a diet, and according to the scales, goes from allegedly 300lbs down to allegedly 275. But more importantly, features an extraordinarily long scene in which someone pushes their face into his gut while he's being weighed, as his tiny husband looks on disapprovingly. Also squashings, belly peeks, pokes, exercise, comical amounts of food, grappling, porn reading (and obviously uniforms.) People do less on the average Onlyfans. And that's it! About 18 hours of bad 90s sitcom, finally reprocessed into the 25 minute supercut my head's been begging for all these years. Here's some random screengrabs of other things he's been in.

He gets especially gigantic for Road To Redemption (2001, an awful evangelical movie, where he can barely fit behind the wheel of a car and his face looks like it's been carved out of rubber) and Fangs (2002, a low budget horror where he's an almost spherical security guard)

I wish I'd said thankyou to the Oinquirer.

So, apparently, there is a new Carrie movie in the works, and they plan to cast a skinny person as Carrie White, who is a fat protagonist in the book, that they made skinny in its popular adaptation. I can understand that it's a dated movie, but standards should be higher, and fat characters need to stop being made into skinny characters. The story is not the same with Carrie White being skinny. She is a fat character, and her being fat is important. I am extremely disappointed. Let fat characters exist and let them be played by fat people. Stop taking their fatness out of their stories and out of their appearance. I sincerely hope that this turns out not to be true and that an actual fat person is cast as the character and that Carrie's fatness is reintroduced to the story.

C. Ernst Harth in the 2010s. C. Ernst Harth is from Ontario, Canada and has been acting on film since 1992. In 2010s, it didn’t look to me that any role particularly really stood out for him. except he did win 2 film awards as co-producer of Joe Finds Grace, in which he also acted. He did do the English speaking voice for French animated Obelisk in 2 Asterisk and Obelisk animated films. Most often, at 6′6″ and big, he just has to look menacing.

The lackluster romance and overemphasised 'love triangle' in The Hunger Games movies makes more sense when you frame it as Peeta's hijacked memories after the war.
Katniss being super cold towards him? The terrible cave scene? The emotionless 'I need you' on the beach? The general lack of chemistry between them? All the Gale angst?? Peeta's entire character being reduced to a damsel in distress and very much feeling like a spare part??? The totally weird and unsatisfying epilogue where the distance between them in the field is emphasised and something about the lighting and framing makes it feel like a Bad Ending????
boom hijacking it's all in his head

I can't tell you how much I hate Police Academy, everything is so stupid. They keep discovering secret treasure maps, hidden passages and tombs, it's like this is what the police station in Resident Evil was up to before it was full of zombies. And yet, who else was brave enough to give us anything like Tony Longo's dirty socks. I keep forgetting the comparison shots, here he is in a transitional state from hunk to chunk in 1993's Prehysteria, where he'll have been about 32

if i had a nickel for every time i had an attachment to a bi-coded, jokey, sweet, majorly traumatised character played by jeremy shada who deserved better i would have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
