Awww yea Loki is done! Avengers Loki was alway my favorite but I do love the Loki in the series. @twhiddleston Swipe right for the full process As much as I love doing fan art that’s all I feel like I do so my goal this year is going to shift to do more original pieces. I’ll do fan art for practice or just for fun but I think it’s time to find myself in my own characters and illustrations. #loki #lokiavengers #avengersloki #wip #wipart #wipartwork #marvelloki #lokifanart #fanart #wiploki #lokifan #wiplokiart #lokiart #lokiartwork #sketch #lineart #finalpiece #marvel #marvelfanart #lokiisthebest (at Denver, Colorado) https://www.instagram.com/p/CnFeNm2vZ7_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
When I started the making process for the waistcoat, I was originally going to use a waistcoat pattern which I had made using my models measurments, however the pattern pieces did not fit onto the shirt fabric that I wanted to use. As an alternative, I decided to turn the shirt into a waistcoat instead as it fit the model comfortably. I started off by removing both of the sleeves using fabric scizzors, I then measured up and marked out where I wanted the v-neck to go making sure that it was placed in the centre of the garment. I cut out the shirt collar and then cut around the markings that I had made to create the v shape. The next step was to make the length of the shirt shorter and add the bottom points/edges that are usually found on traditional waistcoats. I asked my model to try the waistcoat on incase I needed to make any alterations. The next part of the making process involved sewing the seams together around the armholes, the neckline and bottom edges. Once I had completed the waistcoat, I decided to use a decorative stich setting on my sewing machine to add more detail to the pocket, I did this using orange thread, I also painted the buttons pink to match the pink flowers that are on the waistcoat.
Here’s a sneak peek of original artworks I was able to produce using the paints. Each piece represents the main color used in it, their individual stories, and how purely sustainable ingredients can be applied to contribute to something beautiful such as art. Thank you for everyone who has been following this journey, you will see these pieces and be able to read about them as they’ll be included in the art installation next week! 💫

When making my final piece, I realised through text prints I needed to print larger so I needed to change my paper as I had only planned on printing a3. I therefore as a substitute printed on a textured card. It was only textures on 1 side but still had the effect I was going for.
I cut out my piece with a scalpel and ruler, and with a scalpel for the robot holes. I was quite happy with how this came out and thought the robots all looked neat, and the thicker card made the more fragile paper in the cutout strong.
I am really happy with how my final piece looks, the quality of the printing and the colours.
Final A1 piece created using the techniques I explored in my sketchbook and in my development paintings. Such as the paint roller, splattering, blowing, dry brush, sgraffito and sponge. The continued theme of the greenery of mother nature, fighting through the damaging rubbish that we create and discard to decay. The leaves bust through the canvas that I tore, to portray them fighting through to survive. I used contrasting cold colours for the metals and rubber, things that take years upon years to decay, against the warmer colours of the chair that is made of wood which is slightly better for the planet, but still a burden.
Around the middle of my drawing I noticed some pieces of my 2nd object that were of no use then I thought of an idea where I could put them to use but turning the pieces of the objects into some kind of artifacts that could be in the pyramid and also I used some big pieces of the object to turn it into a map for the location of the pyramid and I also tried to bring latest technology into he Pyrmid by using a memory chip that was in my object and Turning it into an access keep for the prymid.
