oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!

i like to think that sung hyunjae’s house decor is just really fucking ugly. not because it’s like. badly arranged or messy. but because where there should be your typical rich person ‘famous painting on the wall’ type stuff there is instead some framed thing and when you get closer it’s just the fucking rosetta stone. and people will be like how do you even have that??

but anyone (anyone who is rich*) can get a painting. there’s famous art on every world. shj wants something new, something novel. something that is undeniably specific to earth. something that’s hard to get, regardless of whether he even likes it or not. because he’s also more interested in showing that he CAN get whatever he wants than actually WANTING anything.

actually the best kind of character design is when a character has traditionally masculine traits (body hair, square face, big muscles etc) or is otherwise androgynous/nonhuman but is a girl and uses she/her pronouns

Been thinking about that one post about if Daft Punk were jaeger pilots in the Pacific Rim universe, and it's got me thinking about who Jere's co-pilot would be.

Like, the obvious answer is Bojan, because of their whole "when we met we barely had a common language to communicate in but somehow we vibed so hard we IMMEDIATELY became inseperable best friends" thing.

But then there's Häärijä, and the one braincell the two of them possess between them whenever they're together, and of course the doppelganger-ness of it all.

Actually, he does get wishes, very often. Spectro's wishes aren't like AT Prismo, there's no limit (it's important to the story lmao). Although if he was only able to get one wish, Crimson would probably wish for something silly like "the strength of 1,000 men" he's very full of himself
