finished reading Nona the Ninth yesterday and one thing that was driving me crazy was the numbers Muir used for John's Bible verses
Not sure if anyone's talked about them before, but I was so sure they meant something special I spent an hour writing out all the different combinations and trying to do math before I finally just typed them all into google, which led me to the A1Z26 cipher page.
And I'll just say, Muir has done it again.
I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone, so if you'd like to do it yourself, here's the link
And here's all the numbers I typed in:
20 8 5 20 15 23 5 18 8 1 19 18 5 1 3 20 9 22 1 20 5 4
(for easy copy and paste)
If you don't feel like copying and pasting, I have the deciphered code below :)
THE TOWER HAS REACTIVATED

The thing about “Timeless” is that it’s not just well written and acted and directed, but it’s also stupidly beautiful to look at. B’elanna cutting through the celebrating crowd in engineering. The sweeping shots of everyone smiling and cheering from the upper levels. The confetti falling, catching in people’s hair. Voyager’s rapid descent, its weight lurching forward at the camera as it crashes. The ship encased in ice. The crew’s bodies crystallized, caught in harsh white light. The tight shots in Harry and Chakotay’s ship - small and crowded and almost claustrophobic. The rattling and shaking of the camera as Harry knows he’s finally done it, he’s saved Voyager, and exclaims “Yes!” in relief. I just love this episode so, so much, and visually it’s one of the most memorable.
