I will never understand how Odysseus has all the braincells while also having none of them at the same exact time. He is an amazing war general and is insanely smart but has the attention span of a rat fuelled by the need to cause chaos simply because he is bored. He can't listen to one thing while getting distracted by the thing he was specifically told not to touch.

Τι να λέμε τώρα
Ποσο σε διαλύει
Τα μέρη που αφήνεις πίσω σου
Οι άνθρωποι που αποχαιρετάς
Ενώ το μόνο που θες
Είναι να μένεις

Voices from the Junta: 5 greek rock albums from the 1970s
As you may already know, Greece went through a military junta that lasted for 7 years (1967-1974) which unfortunately suppressed the majority of rock albums and music that were supposed to be around at the time. Some of them became the manifesto of anti-military movements while others have been forgotten until recently.
1. Akritas — Akritas (1974)
Jazz, progressive and psychedelic rock influences! This one is my personal favourite since there are no songs to skip in my opinion and Stavros Logaridis' vocals are amazing.
2. Socrates Drank The Conium — Phos (1974)
Probably one of the most important progressive rock bands in Greece. This album in particular was produced by Vangelis :)
3. Poll — Poll / Lefkó (Λευκό) (White)
You can tell that the cover itself recalls The Beatles' White Album. There's actually a lot to say about Poll buuuuut to cut a long story short this band became iconic during the Junta because of their anti-war songs. You want us to cut our hair and sing about how much we love our country? Booooo we want peace and sex actually 👍🏼
4. Kostas Tournas — Aperanta Chorafia (1974)
This album is composed of a suite that is like 34 minutes long! But don't worry there's a shorter version of it as well...of course it's about peace and love :) i think the long version is totally worth the listen because it has many cool changes 🙏🏼
(short version)
(long version)
5. Peloma Bokiou — Peloma Bokiou (1972)
Unfortunately I couldn't find much information about this band, but their music often combines rock and greek traditional music (as you can hear from the song linked below!!) And I think it's wonderful

Percy: Why are all these poor animals kept in prison, man?
Jason: This is not a prison, Percy.
Percy: So what is it? A jail or something?
Jason: No-
Nico: *Pointing to a penguin* Bet that one is in for murder.

Odysseus: *Gets Palamedes framed and stoned to death after he threatened his son*
My reaction: "Damn, I wonder who he got that from-"
Athena: *Drives greater Ajax mad to the point that he kills a bunch of sheep before then killing himself all because he was hostile towards Odysseus.*
My reaction: "Oh, that's who"

My bio dad used to visit me when I was going to college in the Bay Area, and we'd go to this Greek restaurant in Oakland. He had never had Greek food before we started going, despite his mother being Greek and sending me Greek food, and it was a fantastic restaurant.
I'd always get galaktoboureko for dessert and since I haven't been able to find a place with it since, I decided to track down a decent-looking recipe with the same ingredients as the restaurant's version and see if it'd be impossible to make. My mother was glad to help out, so we gathered all the ingredients and are going to see if we can figure it out today.
We've made passable baklava before, so. /fingers crossed
