Mornin everyone (least mornin for me-), have some info on the Divine Warriors/those connected to them for my rewrite!

- Esmund’s first wife is known as ‘The Lion Mother of O’Khasis, she who brought the Jury to its knees’

- Ein’s closest friends consist of his sister (not Irene), Shad, and Othello (my rename/remake of Michael/The Demon Warlock)

- Zach, the first leader of the jury, is related to the Zvahl bloodline.

- Esmund is known as ‘Traitor to Irene’, which results in a battle between Scaleswind and O’Khasis. There are catacombs underneath O’khasis that include writings that contain the truth, as well as a portrait symbolising Zach forging the jury with the word ‘Traitor’ written into it.

- The first shadow knight was a member of the jury who stood against and attempted to assassinate Irene

- Kul’zak’s powers caused him a lot of paranoia and was one of the main reasons the divine warriors fell apart; having a vision of betrayal and causing a rift.

- Irene and Ein’s sister was the First Lady of Phoenix Drop; she married the lord who founded it.

- Shad and his wife (not Irene I don’t have Shadrene), that founded Falcon Claw (not related to Aaron in this rewrite) were an arranged marriage by Irene.

- Menphia was one of the first to see Irene’s true colours, which is why she went off to Tu’la and became a figurehead there.

Howdy mo! Kind of a silly question but do you have any personal headcannons based on the addisons/spam?

aaaaa hi!! :D not a silly question at all!! i actually do have a couple i've had in my notes as i've thought about them, most i've thought about while writing but haven't had anywhere to put them lmao

I say it's a little but it's a lot i lied haha

-banner does all different types of clothing and he even knits sweaters. he got survey into it one night while they were talking. (my personal headcanon is that banner is the one that talked to survey to give up their search for spamton, as clicks and sponsor never talked about it.)

-Sponsor sells pretty much everything due to them being a sponsor-ad. their advertising comes in many different forms, like items relating to lightners' searches. They are the most adaptable out of the group, and always carry a variety of random items to sell.

-Addisons have computerized inventories. Like a pop-up storage space. They use this for business and advertising primarily and carry handheld devices outside of the inventory. Spamton's has been broken for years and doesn't work properly, and whenever he tries to summon it, it will glitch and leaves the ground littered with a bounty of [pipis]. Because of this, he lugs around what he can in his pockets or garbage bags (say like his shop inventory with broken swords, potion bottles, etc). At one point he could do two things at once and carried items in his pillowcase as he moved from dumpster to dumpster. Still, purses and bags are fashionable, so sometimes an addison will carry one.

-speaking of that, spamton's addison abilities don't work anymore, but some are salvaged through neo (summoning white letter projectiles, the white light that can become a laser.) Some attempts he's made at pop-up ads haven't gone away and are still glitched up in the trash zone.

-During spamton's big shot days, the addisons were STEAMING in jealousy after what happened at the grille. Each one would do what they could to sabotage spamton's advertising when it would interfere with their own business, including tearing down posters, putting their own advertisement over things, the works. Clicks even went as far as to contact darkners that could help to block spamton's ads in the streets of cyber city, having billboards, links, etc as coming up blank. Strangely, they'd all turn back to normal the following morning, as if someone had reverted all of his progress. How strange indeed.

-Survey wasn't the only addison to look for spamton after he disappeared.

-It's rare to see an addison without their standard outfit, and to have spamton shun their appearance for better/flashier suits was a HUGE slap in the face for their darkner type's signature. As well as getting his hair dyed.

-Spamton's transformation took place over the course of a short time, and it wasn't his benefactor's intention to break him. He just was overloaded and mentally broke, and in an attempt to fix him, the man on the phone turned him into a puppet as his code got more and more out of control.

-Weather rarely occurs in cyber city, but when it does, it mainly freezes over. I headcanon spamton in this time would take abandoned clothes from the trash behind banner's storefront to stay warm. He'd learned to sew and patch clothing, but working with string is something he really has to mentally power through.

-Spamton learned to heal himself after the successful heist of the Keygen, because the swatchlings REALLY messed him up in their efforts to keep him out. This gives the other addisons the idea to make healing items of their own down the road, matching the items they sell, that could benefit the lightner, but nothing really compares to how effective spamton's healing is.

-Spamton doesn't sleep often now (sales could be at any moment!) but also because he sleepwalks. When he does, it's jarring to see, as he sleepwalks like a puppet being lazily made to move around. The addisons would find this immediately unnerving and try to calmly get him back to bed if they could.

-Spamton, because he doesn't have a predominant hue, can turn all colors, but it's an ability that, like many he has, is broken. Red is the only color that works reliably in tandem with his emotions (rage being the most constant emotion he feels), but the rest will come out of nowhere all at once at random.

-Spamton paid Queen to have his face and ads be in fireworks at one point.

-The addisons' businesses took a major hit during the early 2000's and they each got very competitive with eachother. Most resentment for Spamton came from this time, who knew his success was the direct result of driving them all apart. When Spamton disappeared, they started to heal from that aspect of their fallout.

-Spamton truly thought to go to the addisons after his world crashed and burned, but his priorities with Neo and with the light world proved more important. Besides, who knew if they'd even recognize him? As their names and memories were replaced by his ever-growing need for the light, the more he would find himself walking around the addisons street at night, and then wondering why he was even there.

-A customer naive enough to sample an addison's http cookies is just agreeing to be bombarded with a heap of said addison's advertisements around them as the customer taking the sample is just an invitation to get advertised to. (other addisons are exempt from this)

-by the time spam got his big break, he was so desperate for something to change in his life he would have snapped anyway if it hadn't happened. Dude was like constantly teetering on that line of 'I'm gonna lose my shit if I don't have one good day by tomorrow' lol

Anyways i was always curious what inspired your artstyle, and why did you buy Bandit?

I'm doing well! Thank you for your questions, and your cat is super adorable!!

Style inspiration is difficult to pin down as I'm not quite sure how to define my own style lol. That being said, sirfluff and portablebread have been really big influences, since I really admire their work. I usually point to them with how I draw eyes and sharp teeth. For OFF related stuff specifically, big inspo is Xintestsu, love his stuff and CONFINIUM is freaking goals.

As for the Bandit question, that has a simple answer with a complex explanation:

I bought Bandit because I really like elsens and he was an elsen. I did not know his history in the fandom when I expressed my interest to purchase him, as I was a fan of OFF for just about a year at that point and wasn't aware of the greater fandom/fangames. I really like elsens, and had (still have) a horde of them for personal stories and drawing, so when I saw another cool elsen that seemed to be up for sale, I jumped at the chance to get him. I got him, and THEN played the games/discovered who I exactly got. It wasn't any motivation of "ooh famous elsen! gimme!", really it was just luck and the creator (Driftstar)'s willingness to sell that allowed me to come into ownership of the 'famous' elsen lol. Louis on the other hand was a fully knowledgeable purchase, because I was interested in keeping the two together. In my viewing of the fandom, they've always been associated closely with eachother. They were the only identifiable elsens* that specifically showed up in UNKNOWN. As Driftstar had created Louis, and Louis was removed from Hugginverse canon in 2019 along with Bandit and Charlotte, he was no longer in use (since Drift has pretty much distanced himself from fandom spaces). I recently recognized that, and asked Drift if he'd be willing to sell Louis too. He was kind enough to accept my offer, and that's how I came into Louis' ownership as well. I am excited to continue to develop both of them further!

Hope this was informative, let me know if you have any questions / want any clarifications. I know Louis wasn't a part of the initial ask, but I felt it was an important addition to explain how I got him as well (since, they're linked in other ways anyway haha).

*(aka different facesprites, Ryker and Todd are other named elsens that showed up in later Hugginverse titles, but they did not have unique facesprites)

52.) Describe their weekend getaway?

This is the cause of some bickering with the two of them. Mason sees no reason to go anywhere 9 out of 10 times it comes up, and he also hates the places Barbie suggests going. She wants to go to NYC, she wants to go to the beach, she wants to go to big shopping malls and concerts and parties. She won't force him to go on trips with her, she's happy to take her friends (Kira and Farah, though usually Nat wiggles her way in as well) but it does disappoint her sometimes that she isn't sharing certain experiences with him.

They compromise a lot, which usually means he'll put up with going to the beach and dealing with sand and sun sometimes, and she'll put up with staying in a cabin in the middle of nowhere so they can go hiking together.

54.) Who’s more likely to carry the other to bed?

Mason without a doubt. Barbie's got many gifts, but physical strength is very much not one of them. If Mason's passed out somewhere, the best she can do is either rouse him and lead him to bed, or grab a blanket and snuggle up with him where he is.

In that same vein, I think Mason tends to not carry Barbie to bed unless he really feels like he should. If she's fallen asleep at a desk/table in the library while researching, he'll scoop her up and take her to bed, but if she's on the couch, or otherwise comfortably horizontal he'd just leave her be. Maybe grab a blanket for her, move her head so she's pillowed on his lap, but otherwise doesn't want to wake her up.

(this would change as she ages and suddenly can't sleep on the couch without majorly fucking her back up)

Lucas/Adam

10.) Describe their first date.

Lucas isn't much of a traditional date night guy, tbh, but he's also a Car Guy (not the same flavor as Adam's flavor of Car Guy) so I could very much see the two of them spending time walking around a car meet. Something local, maybe even in Wayhaven, where a bunch of old guys bring their vintage cars, drinking coffee and chatting with each other.

25.) Do they have any hobbies they share?

See above, Car Guys. Adam's pretty much into His Cars. Nice cars, vintage, luxury, etc. He's concerned with the maintenance of them, the look and performance.

Lucas loves nothing more than buying the most beat to shit, ugly ass cars and making them go way faster than they have any right to go. I do in fact constantly hc that The Car has a NOS line that Lucas has put in it, along with some other modifications he's made to make it lighter and faster. He doesn't advertise this to anyone-not even Tina-as the car itself isn't street legal, but he's got it there. Just in case :)

He has other cars he's 'fixed up', and he races them regularly, usually with other people who like to make shitty cars go fast.

So Adam and Lucas have some overlap in their hobbies. Lucas really admires people who upkeep vintage cars, but he also likes to wind Adam up by saying how pointless it is and saying the Jag would look Sick with some lightning on the sides. Adam, in a similar vein, likes winding Lucas up by implying his cars aren't that fast.

(Adam is also the reason Lucas starts wearing a helmet when racing, and why he installs a roll cage and better seatbelts. The fact Lucas hasn't beefed it is pure luck before that.)

You may have already mentioned, but who of your OCs makes the most hand gestures while talking and who makes the least?

I guess it depends on what you mean by hand gestures. Quinn primarily uses ASL to speak so technically they would be the most expressive with their hands. But in general I like emphasizing what characters are saying by drawing their hands in fun poses. I never really thought who gestures the least. Maybe Rome?

Outside of QWERMs, Des more than likely. He's just a quiet guy and not very expressive in general. He's a big kitty cat thought so his ears and tail are big indicators for how he is feeling

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

The best answer here is the most obvious one - hearing someone say she isn’t good enough. She’s been told that her whole life, and it never really stops stinging. She acts like it doesn’t bother her, or like she’s above it, but every time she hears it just cuts a little deeper, and her need to always impress people has a heavy affect on the way she acts, whether she knows it or not. Everything has to be a competition so she can win it and prove herself and maybe then someone will decide she’s worth caring about. Even when people do care about her, unconditionally, she’s still running that little imaginary countdown in the back of her mind until they get fed up and abandon her. My traumatized little scrunkly <3

🌋 VOLCANO - how bad is their temper? is it a slow boil, or a instant explosion?

23 is very easily angered, but she’s been trained not to let that show, so when things do irritate her, she’s forced to just bottle it up and smile her little Cheshire-cat smile through it. With the way it builds up, though, there’s always bound to be a point where it explodes, and when it does, she is an absolute nightmare to be around. 23 gets very violent when she’s angry, and while she usually winds up taking it out on some punching bag in the gym, that doesn’t do much to satisfy the bloodlust. It’s part of the reason why she loves being on the job so much - beating up a person is much more fun than a punching bag. Fun fact! When she’s just frustrated but not too angry, she paces a lot and does this weird little clawing motion with her hands, which if you look closely enough is just her strangling a little imaginary person.

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

Adams is usually very good at dealing with their emotions, but there’s one that always gets the best of them no matter how hard they try. Guilt. And they have a lot they feel guilty for, a lot of lives they weren’t able to save. Adams feels personally responsible for the safety of every one of their agents and everyone they’re supposed to protect. Every life lost feels like a failure on their own part, even if they had nothing to do with them. They can push down almost any other emotion to wait for later, but every time guilt hits, it always gets to them.

🖍️ CRAYON - what advice would you give to them?

Honestly, I almost wish she would give me some advice, but that’s irrelevant. Uhhhh. I think the best advice I could give her is that her self-sacrificial tendencies hurt the people around her more than help them. She faked her own death to keep Wilson safe, which affected him for the rest of his life. Plus, he got those tendencies from her, and we’ve seen how well that went. Her constant need to take the bullet for someone else more often than not winds up causing more pain than the original situation would have, and it screams “trauma” that her first instinct in a life-or-death scenario is to throw herself in front of someone rather than just. yknow. Using her shield, maybe??

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

HOHOHO my guy. Alastor’s worst fear is simply being forgotten. Everything he does is an attempt to make a mark on the world - he just doesn’t care whether than mark is good or bad. He cannot fathom the idea of his own existence being entirely unimportant in the grand scheme of things, and all his scheming shit and assholery can really be chalked up to him trying to claw his way into some kind of significance before he dies. A high-ranking member of the IBW, maybe someday it’s leader. One of the Society’s greatest enemies. The man who created his own human superweapon from nothing. He thinks he deserves to be remembered long after his death, and he has no problem being remembered for all the awful things he’s done, so long as he makes an impact. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t get that :)

💧 DROPLET - random angst headcanon

Wilson has awful night terrors. Horrifying. They’re mostly relived memories from his childhood or nightmares about losing people, but either way, they cause him an insane amount of stress, but he plays it off like it’s not a big deal. Like. Buddy don’t try to be slick with me I know you’ve been avoiding going to sleep for days on end we can all see the bags under your eyes. Lying next to Fox helps most nights after they move in together, letting Wilson focus on that warmth rather than his intrusive thoughts and memories, and Fox is always there to comfort him on the occasions that the nightmares come back, but you know those few weeks where everyone thought Fox was dead? Haha! Those were not fun.

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?

It’s Rosie time baybeeee~ When out in public, Rosalind likes to fake the whole “dumb blonde” thing. Then, people severely underestimate her, making it much easier to manipulate them, and by the time they figure out what she’s doing she’s already got a gun pointed at their head. She doesn’t get to do this much anymore - she was one of the DoA’s assassins before she took over as it’s leader, and she doesn’t get the chance to interact with outsiders too much - which is a shame, since she always found it very funny when people figured her out. She does still pull that trick every time she meets someone from outside, though. She’s probably the smartest person in the whole paracosm, and she knows it.

I don’t care for akeshu for a lot of reasons but I feel like the pair becomes significantly funnier and more bareable to me if it’s almost completely one sided. Like Akira gives Akechi an inch and that sickening boy takes a mile it is sooo bad. Akira is giving the same bare minimum he gives to all the outcasts he meets initially and Akechi hates him for it but latches on so easily but also annoys Akira in the process so it’s a mess. Akira “I don’t like Akechi but every moment he spends with us is another moment he isn’t terrorizing the masses” Kurusu and Akechi “we’re gonna get married and kill my dad together and fall in love and he loves me he’s obsessed with me I’m his silly rabbit” Goro . It’s very unromantic it’s very bad. Even funnier if Akira is actively seeing another person so it really is never gonna happen. Ugh. It makes me laugh.
