Last time I laughed –> It was during a troupe dinner party where we were watching the DVDs of when Sayumi-san (Asumi) has become Top [Star]. Rather than feeling all nostalgic, everyone was happily singing and dancing together. From the tug of war to the relay videos in the sports day, even though we didn’t know about the results, we saw how everyone was supporting for their own troupes, and that excitement had been so long ago that I laughed and cried watching it. 54. Last time I was surprised –> I returned home and when I opened the curtains, some big moths flew in. I immediately took the bug spray and chased after them. 55. Something I could do –> I could come out of the shower and finish putting on makeup in 5 minutes. That’s only for the makeup spray part though (laughs). 56. Because that is really moving to me, I would often realise so much more about the stage performance and about being an otokoyaku from my mother’s words. 74. A thing I want the most –> Perfect head-body balance ratio (laughs). But if we’re talking it realistically, maybe I’d be wanting more time. To spend time slower, to relax at a home a little more, to think more about the stage performances. If only there was more time, then I could do so much more.

RELATED TO STAGE 

75. When do you enter in the dressing room –> 2 hours and a half before the performance begins. 76. When do you leave the dressing room –>  If I have to return to the dressing room it would take about an hour. 77. Which is your start of the warmup routine –>  Stretching. I start from stretching. 78. A detail in stage makeup –>  Eyes. Of course it’s important to do the foundation well, but it’s also about considering if it’s a cute role, a beautiful role, a fresh role, a warm-hearted role, the way I do my eye makeup would determine the role that I’m going to be playing. 79. The time to do makeup –>  Around 45 minutes. I’m not sure but I could probably do 30 minutes the quickets but recently I’m trying to do it carefully and slowly (laughs). 80. (Mr) Lincoln was probably far away from where was, but he called out “Elmer!!” to [when Elmer died]. I really like how the flow of sentiments from Elmer was delivered to (Mr) Lincoln like that. 94. Still –> “CASANOVA” where I had a new image there. 95. Lines –> In “Messiah -The Legend of Shiroh Amakusa-” that final battle scene where [Matsudaira Nobutsuna] (her role) successfully advances and then he later said “You couldn’t come forward, could you” I thought how much emotion could I put into this line and it was so important so I was nervous eery day when I spoke that. 96. Role –> I can’t choose!!

So ive decided to restart my Pikmin playthrough in favor of moving it to my Desktop rather than have it on my laptop.

So, i will be playing Pikmin 1 on GameCube via legitament means, why not choose the Wii Version? Well, mainly because im unsure as to how to properly connect the Wii Remote to the PC and do all the things necessary, but also because i'd rather not exert myself in trying to figure all that out tbh. But i do know that Pikmin's Wii version has some QoL improvements such as being able to switch color pikmin on the move. I also do understand the Switch version is cheaper but... iunno.

However, besides all that, back to the main topic at hand, i have a battle strategy as to how to approach the game now.

Day 1

Obtain enough Red Pikmin that are obtainable, then complete the tutorial.

Day 2

Go to The Forest's Navel and get the Yellow Pikmin, but also amass enough Red Pikmin using the red pellets and smallest bulborbs nearby the Red Onion.

Once having reached a sufficent amount, fight the biggest bulborbs but also open the passage to the Yellow Onion.

Fight the final big Bulborb then approach Yellow Onion to obtain my first Yellow Pikmin.

Then amass enough yellow Pikmin to pick up the defeated Bulborbs to feed to the Onion to amass a sufficent amount of Yellow Pikmin.

Day 3

Resume exploration at Forest of Hope.

Perform demolitions with the Yellow Pikmins and obtain the Extraordinary Bolt (to gain access to Forest's Navel for Blue Pikmin) & Radar (for being able to see Treasure on the Map).

Day 2 might mesh into Day 3 depending upon how Day 2 goes considering its 13:30 per day.

And hopefully by Day 4, i will be able to get Blue Pikmin at the Forest Navel, which will open access to the rest of the areas in Forest of Hope.

Day 4

Be at Forest's Navel and do all the things i can do with Blue Pikmin's, although mainly probably just amassing Blues.

Day 5

Return to Forest of Hope to obtain the rest of the items that are there now using the Blue Pikmin.

Granted, i dont spend Day 5 in Forest's Navel again if there are things that are interesting there (like ship parts). Or if I had lost a bunch of Blue Pikmin and i wanted to replenish my troops.

Summary

It may be a bit messy, i might lose a few Pikmin, honestly i might mess up horribly, but what i do know is that there are only 3 Pikmin Types to obtain, and once i have access to all of them, im pretty much open to explore and collect the ship components i need. I also have 5 to 6 hours to complete the game because its a very short game but with lots of replayability. I want to get all the ship parts and aid the Pikmin in surviving.

Something else i want to do is save the second ship part thats at the Impact Site for last, if thats an option.

I know there are:

2 Ship Parts at Impact Site (First is obtained for the Tutorial)

8 Ship Parts at The Forest of Hope (Some are locked off and can only be accessed with Blue Pikmin, but Extraordinary Bolt & Radar, mainly Extraordinary Bolt, as it grants me access to Forest Navel which then lets me obtain Blue Pikmin)

9 Ship Parts at The Forest's Navel (from what i recall seeing on Day 6 there, was a lot of those Flamethrower Creatures, whifh means ill most likely need Red Pikmin with me as i do reconnaissance and then some mushroom creature, which i think is very bad news for my Pikmin if i am not careful).

So if anything, that means there is 17 Ship Parts to collect in total for the first two exploration areas. Which likely means I'll probably be spending quite some time there before i go anywhere else.

Anyway, i now conclude this blog with this.

I dont know where i got this, i think it was from the pikmin subreddit. Regardless, i found it very silly, and i just love animation intended for humanoid models applied to models that are not of the humanoid shape.

ADDENDUM (updated at 12:06 PM 9/5/2024)

If i am unsuccessful with Day 2 in obtaining enough Yellow Pikmin and i go into Day 3 with not enough Y. Pikmin, i will most likely instead perform a B-Line for the Extraordinary Bolt instead and save the Radar for later if i have enough time to do so. As Bulborb's are weak in the back, i will need to be "stealthy" in my approach and hope i do not lose all too much pikmin on Day 2 nor spend too much running back and forth to amass more Pikmin/replenish Pikmin lost in battle.

I think the only "time wasters" that are to be concerned about are losing Pikmin while tackling Bulborbs & the Walls that you have to break down with sheer numbers and the bomb walls, which sometimes just take a lot of bombs to bust down which is sorta annoying.

1. Are you named after anyone? - jaden smith lol. like i wasn't specifically named after him, but my parents heard his name and liked it a lot, so they used that name for me!! so i guess that counts ahaha

2. When was the last time you cried? - last week i think?

3. Do you have kids? - absolutely not

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? - no!! i'm pretty straightforward i would say. i'm very sensitive about being misinterpreted so i rarely ever use sarcasm bc of it. sarcasm goes over my head 99% of the time so i don't like using it.

5. What sports do you play/have you played? - i never played sports as a kid, i like being inside too much

6. What's the first thing you notice about other people? - their faces! like what other answer could there be tbh hahaha

7. Eye color? - blue, don't make fun of me plz or i'll jumpscare you

8. Scary movies or happy endings? - depends on the story! but i do enjoy both

10. Where were you born? - louisiana! born and raised :) i don't live in the town where i was born though, i live in a (relatively small) city now.

What are your hobbies? - writing, playing video games, posing sims, daydreaming, telling stories in general i would say!! that's always been my biggest hobby, even as a child i used to spend hours every day locked in my bedroom, toiling over my corny fantasy stories. i probably wrote around five or six "novels" (i use this term loosely bc those stories were so bad hahaha) from the age of 12 to 17!!

14. Fave subject in school? - english, history, and civics!! i have always been really fascinated by politics, so i have really fond memories of my civics classes specifically :)

Dream job? - if i weren't debilitated by anxiety and mental illness and physical ailments, i'd wanna be a politician. i'm from a deeply red state, so i'd love to make a difference in my community as a leftist/progressive. but the idea of being so widely known in my community terrifies me aha. so realistically i'd love to do something with animals! as a kid my dream job was to be a dog groomer lol. i think i'd really love doing something like that!

If you don't mind asking, what was the longest time you ever spend in a drawing? -🦂

Oh jeez, I think it must be this one commission I did for a friend that took me like 19-20 hours (painted background, detailed shading, all that jazz). But it's very possible that it's actually a different commission for the same friend that was all painting, but unfortunately, I don't have the raw file anymore to check the time. But I think it'd also be around 20 hours

These are the extremes though, most of my fully finished artworks take around 3-7 hours to complete, depending on the polish and the detail. The longest I took on a non-painting drawing is 9 hours, and it's this one

Didn't even do the background, lol, it's just an edited photo I took. I fully blame the jacket for that time

If we're counting other art projects, my Brutus animatic, Poplar St MAP part, She Wants Me (To Be Loved) MAP part and Spiral of Ants MAP part 22 triumph over anything else. I can't give you the exact numbers but I can make an estimate

Brutus I made in 3 days, barely sleeping and just chugging through that bad boy like my life depended on it. It was fully made in FlipaClip so I'm not sure about the exact time but excluding the time I slept, rested and ate, it probably took like around 12-18 hours. Which is insane considering how unfinished it is compared to the other projects on this list LMAO. I just remember it took a long time and I was exhausted by the end.

She Wants Me (To Be Loved) took me around 6 hours and 35 minutes to draw character references, then 15 hours and 35 minutes on all the frames, then putting it all together in FlipaClip and tweening it probably took me like another hour? So around 23 hours total.

Poplar ST was my first fully lines and coloured frame by frame animation. The references for the characters took me 4 hours and 15 seconds, and all of the scenes combined took me 26 hours and 12 minutes, then I had to put it all into FlipaClip and animate it which I'd again estimate to around an hour of work, makes it an around 31 hours long project.

Spiral of Ants part 22 was a massive beast, but not even because of the finished product but mostly because I almost finished a different version of that part before losing momentum and deciding on something else entirely. The three frames (one of which is lost to time) of this original concept took 12 hours and 27 minutes to make. Unfortunately, the reference sheets were on my old phone so I don't know how long they took, but seeing how long the other references took me and considering the amount of characters in this, I'd say 4-5 hours is a fair estimate. Then after that didn't pan out, I made two storyboards for my ideas for this part, which took me 3 hours and 54 minutes. Then the references for that took me 4 hours and 51 minutes. Then making the frames for that took me 11 hours and 30 minutes, and tweening I'd say took me around 2 hours in total. In total, that's roughly 40 hours of work for one MAP part.

But these are all animations, so it's a given that they'll take way longer than a singular artwork

As a bonus, have these frames for the original Spiral of Ants concept that never was and some of the refs that survived Nuking (phone change)

1. it's not free unless you want to be the loser at the bottom of the rankings and never progress in the story because the end chapter of every mini arc of 6 chapters needs a couple MILLION more in power and you only get power by using a massive amount of resources.

2. ads everywhere, in fact. want to get just a little more resources? watch an ad. your cat randomly decided to run away? watch an ad or pay real money to get it back. spent hours grinding to reach 'dailies', a reward? hey, why don't you double it by watching an ad?

sure, you can get 10 skip ad tickets per day... with the paid monthly subscription! so no. not free at all.

3. the game is an expert at pulling money from its users. new dresses that cost ingots (60 ingots for... 2 euro? if i remember right). 100 ingots = 1 brocade. 1 piece of dress = 4 to 36!!! brocades. and you vet 5 to 9 pieces of dress to get the whole set.

or the game just directly asks real money for imaginary dresses. when i stopped playing, they started promoting the 'celestial' collection according to zodiac signs. each dress can be directly bought... for over 30 euros! for that price, you can just buy a real dress.

plus events - repeating events, dress events, mini story events, 'holiday themed' events. each requires ingots, and there's never enough ingots.

plus the VIP levels where support won't even really help you unless you reach some vip level. you reach vip by spending money. and you have paywalled confidants you receive after reaching vip levels. VIP16 would literally cost you at least a hundred thousand euro. not kidding.

and the lifetime pass and monthly pass and daily top up rewards and special packs and 'vip rewards' packs that cost even more money and ranking booster packs and event limited timr packs and i'm not even kidding! these are all in the game!

4. the community was great despite the game, not because of it. it's honestly the only thing i miss, the girls were great. but yes, the game gives you so so SO MANY options to be mean. and obfuscate their wording so half the players don't even know they're picking the hurtful options.

help 'harvest' a friends' garden? congrats! you just stole from them. 'compare notes' in the academia? congrats! you just stole their points and it takes 8 hoirs to get more. or ruin someone's banquet. or any random actions that half the time you don't even know are hurting others.

5. the story isn't even that good. starts with yoir typical 'revenge' cliché plot, then that gets resolved and it just sort of.. goes in circles. then MC is sent to some foreign country or something?? i don't know i stopped paying attention, it got boring.

6. the game does NOT value its players. at all. i played for over a year, reached an embrassingly high VIP level and then they just moved us to a slow server. ping of over one second, and considering everyone had 40-50 partners at this point and you needed to beat ALL of them in every debate, FOUR TIMES PER DAY!... every single action felt like someone's pulling my teeth, every move painfully slow. and support was no help of couse. "i'll ask the devs to check, my lady", they just lied to me - it was obvious that we were moved to a slow server since multiple people reported the same and it happened right after a sneaky unannounced maintenance.

my phone can smoothly run genshin and this little dressup with nothing more that static images with some minimal animations is slower? no. just no.

they just judged that our server doesn't make them enough money.

oh and of course, they create a new server every couple weeks. to get more people. and then they merge them to 'get more fun' mess up rankings and force people to pay even more money to keep their place among competition that just doubled. fun, right? (no, it wasn't).

girls, if you ever want to try this game, i can only tell you this: don't.

this miserable excuse of a game isn't worth it and their scummy business practices and gachas are only meant to pull money from you. don't do that to yourself.

no matter how pretty the dresses are, they are just not worth the money or effort.

Since some of you want to see it, here is my ECU (Elsen Cinematic Universe) concept!

So uhhh basically

These guys?

I'm working to give them little personalities :) Idk when I first started making these little dudes I didn't have the idea of them being the specific Elsen in-game, if that makes sense? Basically these were originally just Elsen OCs lol. But! Now I'm trying to kinda go more towards that idea. Of course I'll probably make more Elsen just on their own. So uh lemme introduce you to the guys I have so far! Warning, spoilers for the game OFF, which should've been kinda obvious, but I can't blame you for thinking otherwise.

Elsen 1 and 2!

So these fellas are actually inspired by this animatic from the OFF animator themself! Elsen 2 is a very anxious Elsen from Zone Two who is really scared of... Well, almost anything! Luckily, his very best friend (and only person he's interacted with in years) Elsen 1 tries to support him in any way that he can. He's from Zone One, though, so he travels from the different zones often. Elsen 1 can't do everything flawlessly and teach his friend how to be the most confident guy, but he can damn well try! The biggest problem in their relationship, though, is that Elsen 1 is constantly haunted by the anxieties and fears that something will happen to Elsen 2 when he's not around, which causes him to be on edge all the time. His other friend Elsen 6, however, is decent at calming him down. These two both count as my second favorites!

Elsen 3 and 4!

These guys were inspired by an animation I made (hasn't been released yet sorry) where two Elsen play the balloon game together! Elsen 3 is a big chess nerd, and literally can play it all day. He and Elsen 4 love hanging out at The Park together, even if Elsen 4 has a better chance at winning each game every time. They just really like each other's company. Probably why they're best friends. If they were dating I wouldn't be surprised. I should really expand on their characters more ngl they're seeming a bit too simple right now.

Elsen 5 and 6!

These guys are put on the same page, but only for organizing purposes, they don't actually know each other lol. Elsen 5 is the Elsen working at the rollercoaster in Zone Two! He's a Zacharie simp fan of Zacharie's work, as the latter made most of Zone Two entirely. When Elsen 5 isn't dreaming about the day he'll meet Zacharie, he just works his job at the rollercoaster. Elsen 6 works in the plastic mailing sector of Zone One, but he also is in charge of making sure Dedan isn't going on a violent rampage. One day a bunch of Elsen in Zone One peer pressured him into checking up on the furious guardian, and he's kept the responsibility since. In the great words of my best friend, "he's Dedan's unintentional bestie". He also has a little satchel filled with containers of meat, wristwatches, and Pedalo ride tickets just in case Dedan gets pissed and needs something to calm down. Outside of Dedan, Elsen 6 enjoys spending time with Elsen 1 and 7. Elsen 6 is probably my favorite so far because of how silly he is!!!

Elsen 7 and 8!

These two Elsen also don't know each other either lol, though if they did, I don't think they'd get along very well. Elsen 7 is the only Elsen in Zone One to have all the jobs there. He works in the mines for four hours, then works in the cow barns for another four, then works at the plastic postal service for another four, and then works at the meat bottling section of Alma for four hours before having the rest of the day to do whatever he wants (if it's still daytime when he gets to his house). It's tiring work, but he's fine enough with it. Not like he has any dreams or aspirations. Well, depends on what you call a goal. Though, trying to get any higher personnel to even look at him wasn't really a well thought out goal from the start and he only kept himself in the same four jobs because he saw no other purpose in life. Elsen 8 works in the sugar factories in Zone Three, and oh boy does he suffer. By working there he's discovered exactly how sugar is made and he hates it. Probably the only Elsen in that zone who isn't addicted to the stuff. He dreads every waking moment because he doesn't want to stay in his job, but doesn't have a choice at all. Maybe the sugar addicted Elsen were right. Maybe sugar does make it easier to ignore every fault in reality.

Elsen 9 and 10!

Y'know the old time-y art that appears when each element is explained? Elsen 9 was the guy behind those! Well, in the OFF universe anyway. You get what I mean. But anyway he absolutely craves attention and validation. Any support is good enough for him! He will probably try to be your friend if you merely smile at him! Also I actually haven't decided on where he lives yet because he's mostly a traveling artist, but I think he lives in Zone One. May be subject to change though. Elsen 10 became a real sweetheart the day he realized how sad everything felt. He thought that no one was getting enough appreciation for all their hard work, and with the help of Elsen 12, he started being a really nice person. He always tries to work his hardest in Zone Three, and makes sure to give some appreciation to his coworkers as well! What a guy!

Elsen 11 and 12!

These guys actually know each other! Yippee! Elsen 11 was from Zone Two and was REALLY worried about safety. So worried in fact that he was scared that his necktie would choke him, so he took it off for that reason. Unfortunately, he also got kicked out of the residential area of Bismark because no one could tell he was an Elsen anymore without his tie. Damn. He moved to Zone Three — albeit very reluctantly — and got a job there. He didn't have a home until Elsen 12 let him in his own. This is kinda where I shift into Elsen 12's description! Basically Elsen 12 was an absolute saint and loves everyone. He was entirely content with his life, but he still wanted to be a good person. He helped Elsen 10 be a better person like him, and taught Elsen 11 how to face his fears. He's the glue that holds the three of them together! But, unfortunately, he one day fell onto the tracks of the Zone Three tramway and got into a bit of an accident with a certain black and white batter. He hasn't been seen since.

So uhhh yeah!!! That's my whole ECU as of rn! Of course I'm going to be making more Elsen in the future, and I'll be posting them here when I do! I know this little thingy isn't going to get really popular, especially since the OFF fandom is a bit dead rn, but still feel free to make your own ECU content if you want I guess, all art, fanfictions, and even more Elsen characters are welcome by me! Hello, congrats on 1000 followers, that is huge! This is my submission to the match-up event. I’ll number the answers to each question.

1. I’m transmasc (we could get into the weeds of it all, non-binary, genderfluid, yada yada but that’s the gist of it), use he/they pronouns and I’m bisexual.

2. I’d like to be matched up with a Papa preferably, although a Ghoul would also be cool if you decide it’s my best fit.

3. I’m 5’4, I’ve lost a bit of weight recently so I’m pretty slim but not skinny, my thighs and arms are pretty big still. I’ve also got a bit of muscle showing, but again, not a bunch (I am working on it though). Most of my life I’ve been the chubby one in the friend group so this is new to me. Besides that, I have an hourglass figure (that I hide under baggy clothes) and, unfortunately for me, a very large chest that a binder does little to conceal. I have brown hair that’s wavy (2C), short on the sides and back and longer on top (comes down to my top lip if I stretch it out in front of my face), parted on the side. I also have brown eyes, I’m white (fairly pale), have freckles on my cheeks, nose and arms and a decent amount of moles all over my body. I wear glasses, I have three earlobe piercings in one ear and one in the other that I’m stretching. I dress in a sort of skater-y style, big pants, vans, oversized band T-shirts, hoodies, jean jackets, funky button-ups if I’m being fancy.

4. I think I’m a friendly person but generally pretty shy and I don’t get out much. Right now I’m writing my BA thesis (studying English) after extending my studies which means I finished all of my classes already, so I really spend way too much time at home. I could probably use someone who would help me to go out more but also respect when I have to stay in and recharge since I lean towards introversion (but only slightly). I’m also kind of a perfectionist which causes me to either put way too much effort into something or, paradoxically, way too little because then I can detach myself from it, telling myself that I didn’t try at all so I don’t feel like it matters.

5. I am very on-again off-again with video games (I could spend a year not playing any but then the next few months playing for hours every day) and I prefer narrative-led games. I watch board game playthroughs a lot and over the last year I bought quite a few board games. I like to watch horror movies but I’ve only been to the movie theater a few times since COVID started. I mostly listen to metal lately but there’s very few genres of music that I wouldn’t listen to, only one coming to mind is EDM. I like to sing a lot. I work out almost every day (ideally 6 times a week but it sometimes ends up being 4 or 5), it’s calisthenics and flexibility because I can do it with only a few cheap pieces of equipment alone at home and the gym scares me + it’s expensive. I also write fanfiction which this fandom inspired me to do and I’m very new to it but enjoy it a lot.

6. I’m 23, I live alone, I have two cats that are brother and sister. I was an only child until my dad had another kid in his second marriage but that happened when I was 16 so I don’t really count it since I didn’t grow up with siblings (my brother feels more like a nephew to me). I don’t think I want to be monogamous, because I don’t think I belong to anyone or anyone belongs to me, it’s just too restrictive and boring to me (although if someone I really cared about wanted to be 100% monogamous, I would probably agree to it). My favorite season is spring. I love most animals, especially reptiles, I used to be scared of spiders (I think from the stigma against them) but now I love to see them in my home and let them stay. But I’m absolutely terrified of the ocean and the creatures that live in it.

He loves stealing… I mean borrowing your clothes . As much as he enjoys his fancy outfits he adores putting on one of your hoodies and curling up on the couch. Preferably with you in his arms. It helps him unwind after a hard day at work.

He will come and keep you comapny while you exercise, he wants to support you and he often joins in. There will also be quite a lot of flirtatious glances from him.

One time he says "I can think of a much better way for us to work out together caro. hmm? You would like that no?" you cannot miss the sultry tone of his voice and the look he gives you as he draws you to him.

He is really supportive/understanding of your perfectionsim. Despite his playful front he does understand a need to do things to a high standard. He gets like that over his music. So he tries to help you balance it out.

If you are working on your thesis, he sometimes needs telling to just let you work. He loves being there for moral support and he is surpirsingly helpful and knowledgeable. But he gets a little distracted sometimes and just kinda goes off on one. So when you do say that you just need some peace and quiet to think he just pouts at you. Then after a moment he'll nod in understanding, give you a kiss and leave you to it. He will also bring you plenty of your favourite drink to keep you going.

He will definitely encourage you to go out more. He loves going out with you and you both always have a lot of fun. He can also spot when you need to recharge and he plans a cozy night in with a film or something.

He is chill about not being monogamous. It works well for him too and he has similar views to you. He values very highly the emotional connection you two share and he only has that with you. It means the world to him.

Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson fic recs

Personal recs based off of my own picky preferences. These are all bookmarked on my A03. Steddie is the OTP for all of these fics.

1) alone again, or It’s 1991 and Steve is still in Hawkins, still living with his mother, still single, and still working at Family Video. At least he’s the manager now, for whatever that’s worth. But he’s stuck here while Robin and Dustin and everyone else have moved away. Moved on.

Well, everyone except for Eddie. They're best friends, spend most of their time together, and it's nice to have a friend like that. But Steve is still looking for love with a capital "L". At least, he thinks he is.

2) stereoscope Here's Steve Harrington's biggest secret, though: It's not the alternate dimension brimming with monsters or the impossible girl with powers. It's the fact that he and Eddie Munson have been friends all along. In an on-and-off, tangential, fucked up kind of way. Never on his own terms. But still friends.

3) I'll hear you scream Eddie thinks he may well have pissed himself, and who can blame him? It hurts so fucking bad.

And then Eddie understands why. And that might just be the scariest thing that has ever happened to him.

Steve fucking Harrington is driving an actual real life sword into Eddie’s heart.

4) Some things cosmic Steve has a dream about Eddie.

And another. And another. And another... 5) What would they say if they ever knew? But then he sees Robin smiling around him, and he sees Eddie smiling, and he feels like he’s having heart palpitations. It’s obviously because of Robin, there’s no way a guy could ever make him feel this way (and he’s deeply repressing those times growing up, when play wrestling with Tommy H. would make him a bit flustered, he’s not thinking about the times in the locker rooms with his teammates where his eyes would linger just a fraction longer than they should—no, that never pops into his mind at any given moment, not at all).

OR, if Eddie was introduced in Season 3 instead of Season 4.

6) The one in which a time loop is fucking exhausting. It’s the first time in a while that he doesn’t know what comes next. He’s dove into the water hundreds of times. Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.

Steve fails. They lose.

“Steve. How many loops have you been through?”

His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.

“I lost count.”

AKA: The one where Steve Harrington is stuck in a time loop, and Eddie Munson is really fucking hard to save, or: fuck Volume 2, these bitches are in love.

7) Don't imagine you're too familiar When Robin finally gets to the hospital, there are two things immediately wrong.

I wish today was longer because honestly I had a great day off. Beyond feeling a little unwell at times I just had a really nice time and I got a lot done and I spent time outside and it was a good day. I miss James but they're on their way home and will be here in a few hours. I just wish I had more time. That's all.

Last night I felt terrible. Everything was terrible I felt awful my body hurt I was not having a good time. When I woke up at 6:00 I did not feel much better. But I was a little more comfortable. My leg still hurt but it wasn't as excruciating. And I was able to fall back asleep until a little after 9:00.

Sweetp was being such a good boy and did not wake me up at all. And when I woke up my neck did not hurt as much and I was in a better mood. My brother had texted me some really encouraging stuff about my art and that felt really nice. And I got up and I started to get ready for the day.

I felt ugly and disgusting. I did not like my original outfit my hair felt bad my face felt bad. I was not doing great but I had to not focus on myself because I had stuff to do. And I would spend from 10:00 a.m. this morning until 2:00 p.m. working on my PowerPoint for camp. It's 52 slides long. And I'm very proud of it.

I started by getting a snack. I had the rest of my guac from yesterday and half of a brownie for breakfast. And I got into laying out this PowerPoint. I have a lot of trouble with blank pages. I've always found it incredibly difficult to start when there's nothing on the page. So I've always been big into just copying pasting something I've already done and adding to and deleting from there. And that worked really well in my favor today. I would copy and paste things from my original document or move things around I was using the clipart from the handouts that there was some consistency and style. And I would copy a slide to the next slide and then just delete the text but have the format. And I was really happy with it and about 2 hours in I was really seeing the progress. There was some research and some image gathering and some layout issues that I was dealing with but I was figuring it out. And it was just really good I was really in a great place.

I took a break for a few minutes and vacuumed to the apartment. I made some soda and I had a good little lay down just to stretch out my back but I didn't want to stop because I was afraid that if I stopped I would lose all motivation. So I jumped right back into it.

And I worked until around 2:00. I did three sections that this PowerPoint is going to take care of. The intro which explains what each program section is has the rules and maps of camp. And then I have my lead section which is about fiber. It used to be called cordage but I decided that fiber makes more sense. And then ends with my quizzo section which honestly took a really long time to copy and paste because I'm not entirely sure how to do animations like old school PowerPoint animations. So instead I did two slides with one having the questions and then the second one having the answer circled. Which I think essentially does the same thing.

I am shocked how focused I was. What really helped me was I found a 4-hour YouTube video to put on to listen to. So I never had to change videos and it was about a book and I love breakdowns of books that I've never read. So this was perfect. And it was a terrible book and the person was making fun of it so that was just funny as well. So I was having a great day.

And once I realized I was basically done this PowerPoint I was thrilled. I was so happy and I felt like I accomplished so much. My goal was to spend one hour a day every day of August until it was done. But I missed Friday and yesterday so I felt like I had to make up for it and I made up for it with a whole extra hour so I'm really proud of myself.

I was feeling really good after that and I decided that I needed to take another shower. And so I took a shower and I had made a conditioner with my blue hair dye in it to just keep my hair looking a little bit more fresh than it has been. I did accidentally spill it all over the tub and then was very frustrated this morning but it was okay. I took my shower and I washed my hair and I felt really good.

I got changed into a different dress and I felt much better about myself. And then I decided that I should go for a walk and knit outside.

First I would go to the Parker across the street but very quickly realized there are no benches there. I don't know why. I feel like there used to be. I know there wasn't many but there seems to only be one picnic table which is up by the bocce ball court. So I kept walking and went towards the Park ave fountain parks.

I had better luck there. I found a bench that wasn't disgusting and sat by the fountain and I knit for about half an hour. Until I got too hot in the sun. I texted James and they were very worried about if I was wearing sunscreen but I was. But I still wanted to get out of the sun because I was too hot.

I decided that I would go and have a late lunch early dinner at brass tap. And so I walked over there and on the walk there I encountered many lantern flies which I have not seen much of so I was chasing them around stomping on them. Because you're supposed to kill them. And I'm sure I looked insane to the drivers going past. I did not run into traffic but I almost did chasing one. I did also come across a bunch of killed ones already. I don't know why they're getting bad again but maybe it's the weather.

I got to brass tap and it was too loud in there. It's always too loud in there. The music is entirely too loud there was only 10 people. Why is it screaming It's 3:30 in the afternoon. But I sat in the window seats and I worked on my knitting and got a sandwich and a soda and the waiter was very nice even though it was too loud to really have a conversation with him. I finished one whole square and started another one. I wasn't in any rush and it was just nice.

After I finished eating I decided to go for a walk and continued walking in the big circle from our apartment to Mount Washington to the armory and back to our apartment. I stopped at the little park across from the Mount Royal train station and sat there on the cement benches that I enjoy. And I knit there until around 5:00. I was starting to get hot and my phone only had 40% battery so I knew it was time to go home.

I did enjoy sitting there and listening to music and knitting and watching the world go by. Not a ton of foot traffic but I still had a good time. And then I walked home. I took a different way than I normally do so I could go past the nursery and all the nice old houses over there and admired there flowers and the yards. And soon I was walking up to my house.

And all of a sudden I was incredibly hot. Just shaky and uncomfortable and overheated. It was like my body weighted until I was home to fall apart. I immediately had draw a cold bath and lay down in it for 45 minutes because I was delirious and shaking. It was horrible. I don't know where it came from but it was not fun. And once I did cool down I didn't join my bath. As soon as I got in the bath I put on when dagoon's video on blood meridian. I had tried to read blood meridian this spring when he first put the video out but I got to the one part with the fortune tellers and I just couldn't do it anymore. It's just so heavy. I need someone to walk me through it. And his video is 5 and 1/2 hours long so I realized if I put it on then by the time it was done James would be coming home because the plan is for them to be home around 10:00.

And so I have been watching their video and knitting and fixing things and working on drawings. I did the drawing for my BMI sticker pack and I made the walrus sticker for Jorge that I promised. And I miss James deeply but it's been a really nice night and I love being alone sometimes. I've always loved my alone time I feel like I can jump from thing to thing and not feel judged and I can walk around and not feel anxious like I sometimes do. So I just enjoyed my evening and now I will wait for my husband to return from sports.

Tomorrow James is coming with me to camp and then we will leave early for my doctor's appointment. I hope that it is a beautiful day. It's raining right now and it seems like this week is going to be very damp. But I'm not that worried. I have positive feelings right now and I'm hoping to continue to carry those on. I hope that you are all wonderful and taking care of each other. Sleep well and stay safe. Until next time.

In most manga and anime they made high school life seem like those were going to be the best years of their lives. Cultural festivals, end-of-year trips, sneaking kisses and the wonderful discovery of first love. Arataka would have been a horrible protagonist of the typical shojo. With just under two months left until graduation, he felt as if he had skipped everything that should have made his student life exciting.

The cultural festivals had been hours of listening to class girls giving orders, carrying boxes, hearing how he didn't know how to do anything well, and hanging around late when he could have been wasting his time with Serizawa or helping Kageyama-san.

About the end of the school year trip, he hadn't even told his parents. The idea of spending a week with the rest of his class was not what Arataka understood as thrilling.

And about first love... Taka was curious about what it must be like to kiss someone. Going to college without ever having kissed anyone sounded like the perfect description of pathetic but it wasn't going to be anything new either. Would Serizawa have kissed anyone by now? Girls had to find him attractive with his height. Taka had seen him shirtless more than once and it was hard not to be envious when next to him Taka was nothing more than a scrawny rat.

Arataka yawned, too bored to pay attention as the teacher continued to talk and write on the board. The letter was still occupying much of his thoughts. There were barely ten minutes left in class when Arataka pulled it out of the drawer again.

He still couldn't quite believe that someone wanted to ask him out. That was one of those things he was convinced was never going to happen before he got to college.  Suddenly, he felt like he had reached another level after passing a secret test he didn't even know existed. Having a girlfriend had to make him more popular, right?

Taka got up from his seat, hanging up his open backpack and striding out the door. Still undecided between walking and running, Taka zigzagged, dodging people until he reached the stairs. He almost made it down the entire block in one leap, his feet echoing as he hit the landing. At last he started to run.

"Sorry!" Arataka yelled, turning around for a moment to apologize to the first-year girl he had nearly run over in his haste.

"Jerk" the girl snarled, straightening her skirt.

Taka ignored her completely and kept running. He barely even had time to put on his sneakers between bounces before he found himself kicking up the gravel on the sand path that led up to the gym.

He could barely breathe when he finally stopped. Maybe it had been a bad idea. Taka pulled his cell phone out of his pocket, it had barely been five minutes since classes had ended. Sweat plastered his bangs to his forehead and he felt overheated. Bent in on himself, he forced himself to breathe. His side was prickling from the effort. Taka dropped against the back wall of the gym and closed his eyes, forcing himself to take a deep breath. The sound of laughter brought him to attention. Arataka noticed his whole body tense up as he saw the five boys approaching.

"You came? Really?" Taka recognized Sato. He had had the misfortune of going with him as well when they were still in elementary school and they had never liked each other. "Did you really think anyone would want to go out with you?"

"If an ape like you has a girlfriend, I don't understand why not." Arataka shrugged. With his hands in his pockets, he began to move forward, trying for a hole to slip through. "Well, I guess that's it then, isn't it, I've bought it! Now you can have a good laugh at my expense."

"You heard him! He called me an ape! He thinks he's so funny!"

For a second, Arataka was convinced he would make it out unscathed, but a hand grabbed him by the shoulder before he made it back to the stream of students leaving class.

"What's the hurry?" Taka noticed Sato's arm slither behind his neck like a snake coiling around its prey. "After going to so much trouble. I just wanted you to join us for a while."

"No, thank you." Arataka tried to break the contact. "I have to go to work."

"Did you hear that? He doesn't want to come with us." Sato said, slapping him on the cheek. "For old time's sake? Or are you scared?"

"Scared? Of what? Of assholes like you?"

Sato punched him in the stomach, managing to knock him out of breath for a second and took the opportunity to steal his phone from his pocket. Maybe someday Taka would learn to keep his mouth shut but it was clear that day wasn't today.

"Give it back!" Arataka stretched out his arm trying to retrieve it but the pain managed to bend him back on himself. "Sato! Give it back now!"

"If you don't need it for anything! I think I'm going to keep it." Sato pocketed it. "Buy us takoyaki, huh?"

"If I do, will you give me the phone back?" Taka sighed wearily. He'd been a jerk for thinking that maybe something good could happen today.

"I'll think about it." Sato's snarky smile didn't give him any confidence.

Arataka barely had three hundred yen left in his pocket after paying for everyone's takoyaki and drinks but Sato still didn't seem determined to return him the phone. Arataka was growing suspicious that at no time had that been the plan but he didn't know what else to do either. It would have been so easy, if he had had powers like Serizawa... Taka rubbed his eyes. He just wanted to go home, crawl into bed and forget that day had ever existed. Revenge was going to be terrible. Arataka might be an outcast in class, but he wasn't going to let himself be caught off guard again. He had long since stopped paying attention to his surroundings when he realized where they were.

"Where do you guys want to go?" Taka asked somewhat nervously. "Over here there's nothing."

The house that still plagued all his nightmares appeared in front of his eyes as soon as they turned the corner. The FOR SALE sign had lost all traces of color years ago, and the broken window panes behind the pieces of wood boarding up the gaps gave it a very creepy look.

"Brings back memories?" Sato smiled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Hey, are you still afraid of the dark?"

Arataka barely had time to react. One instant, his cell phone was in Sato's hands and the next second, it had disappeared through one of the holes left by the wood boarding up the front door. Taka noticed how all the color disappeared from his face.

"Are you going to piss yourself?" Laughter rang cruelly in his ears as they walked away down the street. "Did you see the look on his face?"

The last lights of the day were beginning to fade behind the row of abandoned houses but the street seemed to be in complete darkness. Taka tried to control the trembling in his hands. That day, Sato's was the last face he had seen before the door closed behind him.

"Can I have this dance?" ;)

A most unanticipated and unusual request, especially when he took the Lieutenant’s interests into account; she did not appear to be someone who would voluntarily engage in nor subject herself to such obsolete occupations. In his eyes, she was someone whose interests aligned with daredevil activities, putting her life unnecessarily in jeopardy simply for the thrill of it, and the well-being of the animals. Apparently, his assumptions were erroneous and required correction. Astonished, the android raised his head and looked at her over their ⸺ well ⸺ her replicated dinner, which was situated in the middle of the oval table in his personal quarters.

‘Dance?’ he iterated with a slight tilt of the head and a pearlescent white eyebrow levitated.

He was aware that the setting and ambience were appropriate for an old-fashioned slow-dance. The classical music that was dispersing its dulcet melodies in every direction of his quarters, the luminosity which had been reduced to a minimum so the artificial candlelight would be more pronounced in the tenebrous surroundings, the food he had selected to agree with her preferences. Everything was in accordance with what humans would consider an intimate rendezvous.

Over the course of several months ⸺ 6 months, 2 weeks, 5 days, 18 hours, 37 minutes, and 4 seconds, to be exact ⸺, Data’s mental pathways had developed a profound attachment to his old friend. He had spent a considerable amount of time ⸺ more than was necessary ⸺ in her presence, relishing in her company. When he was with her, the sensation of homesickness diminished and it felt like he was back aboard the Enterprise, with his family. He had formulated astute excuses to be around her, the excuses did not differ significantly from the ones he had utilised to spend time with his best friend, Geordi, in main engineering.

Data’s yellow eyes glowed with inquisitiveness while he proceeded to observe Avyra, wondering why she had suggested to dance, but who was he to dismiss such a request? He had some experience ⸺ however limited ⸺ with dancing, and he would gladly take her up on her offer.

‘It would be my honour,’ he replied, setting his orange tabby on the carpet before rising to his full height.

Graciously, he extended his right hand for Avyra to take and offered her a warm smile.

‘If you do not possess an adequate prowess with regard to waltzing, I could lead; Beverly has taught me the set of variables that are employed in order to establish that particular style,’ he notified her.

Day 220

Over two weeks ago I finished the game Lil Gator Game, which is best described as an exploration collectathon game. By collectathon, I mean a game where you collect things (like friends), or do a task (like whack all the pretend monsters scattered around the island).

The game was released in December last year and was made by MegaWobble. It’s about a little alligator (think of this in the vein of like Little Bear or any child’s story you might have read involving animal characters) who used to play pretend hero games with his big sister. At the point the game really starts, his sister has grown up and has returned from college for Fall break. The lil gator wants to play with his sister like old times but she’s too busy with her school project.

So what is a lil gator to do?

Why gather his friends (and make new ones) in an attempt to create a pretend hero game so elaborate that surely she would want to join in of course! The game is spent running around a large island, fulfilling quests of other children playing in order to have them join your fantasy town and fighting cardboard monsters scattered around. I enjoyed it, the children were delightful with all their quirky quests and personalities. It was fun running around the island hitting monsters and exploring. 

When @wereah watched me play we joked about how there was no adult supervision and why were these children allowed to climb up to ridiculous heights? While the children were clearly playing pretend, there is some sense of fantastical imagination at the idea of having free run of an island without an adult interfering. It reminded me of some of the play pretend I had done as a child, such as pretending that acorns were currency and you could make houses in a forest.

I had enjoyed the game so much that instead of just staying in my first play through to finish getting everything, I started a new game to see if I could get everything before going to the town to complete the game. The game isn’t long, 4 hours if you really push to complete the main quest line, and about 6 hours if you try to get everything. The end game does offer two new items in order to get everything (friends and monsters), which is nice. I managed to find all the friends on my second go around, but not all the monsters and treasure.

It had taken me a while to write this despite finishing the game over two weeks ago because I had finished the game and became unintentionally salty about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I actually never finished my Pokemon game, in the end I just couldn’t bring myself to care enough to do so. Lil Gator Game is not a mechanically complex game, but Pokemon, like Lil Gator Game is also technically a collectathon game. Yet the difference in how much I enjoyed the two games is very different and I had to spend a bit sounding off to @wereah trying to figure out why. Why I cared about a small game that only took a few hours, but not enough for a large game that had this huge world, and all these people and all these places to explore.

Honestly, it’s probably not fair to compare the two games, they have very different scopes, but at some point I will probably talk about Pokemon Sun and Moon, because I think what I really want out of a Pokemon game is very different than what Game Freak and the Pokemon Company thinks their demographic wants out of these games.

A slight stress takes him at the throat as he looks at his watch. If he didn’t show he will hate him for the rest of his life. His bushy tail moves from right to left while his thin fingers hit the bar next to him. The walls were beautifully decorated with several light garlands, some of which were in the shape of a Christmas ornament. Their little nose frowns, as he looks at the hour again, pulled on his jacket and goes around the room. Everything seems perfect, straight out of a fashionable magazine. The tree in the back of the living room, decorated with white and gold on its black branches, the very clean coffee table and the rest of the furniture that could still have been in their packaging. A small breath passes his nose, as he takes a slight turn on himself, trying to evacuate stress. It had always been a little too violent between them, and now that they were a real couple Yoongi had the impression that the world had trouble turning normally.

"Seriously, what are you doing? ”

Already ready to call him, he jumps when the phone vibrates against the worktop. When the image of what he expects appears, he has his heart that pulsates a hundred at the hour. Maybe in the end he wasn't going to be able to spend the evening. After a great breath he grabs the mobile, unlocks it before carrying it to his ear.

"- You're late.

- I know, I was held back by the snow! I'll be there in ten minutes.

- I don't like it when you're late.

- And me when you spit hairballs. And yet I live with it. ”

The mischievous tone makes him frown as he crosses his arms on his chest, trying to guess by the noise where could be the second. But he was unable to do so he just asked him to hurry, finding the sofa with a tired step, wrapping the blanket that until now had no fold. He did not like the cold, like any self-respecting cat, the cold was his worst enemy. Even in a top floor apartment, the heating almost did, he needed its hot spot. When the door opens, he jump to join the man, who has a slight laugh at this adorable attention. Sometimes, his feline side stood out much more from his human side and it gave quite incredible things.

"- You're late.

- I said I was sorry.

- And that you will be here in ten minutes.

- I'm only one more!

- One too many. ”

The yellow eyes rise to the sky, as he comes to snuggle in his arms, despite the cold body coming from outside. And he can't help but purring with contentment when his fingers pass against his sensitive ears. Outside the snow had already begun to fall. Covering Seoul with its annual white coat, giving a magical impression to the city.

"- Did the guys say they would come for new year?

- I don't know, I didn't get them.

- I thought you and Hoseok were making plans behind our backs!

- Have made plans behind your back, but not today. ”

A slight laugh passes the man's lips as he joins Yoongi on the sofa, finally realizing the problem in the equation. Yoongi was well dressed, a pretty red suit, his hair was well styled and he had even taken the trouble to put on makeup, just to make his eyes even more attractive than normal. And now that silence and love had fallen, he could see the non-natural behavior of the feline. Yoongi was anxious. His tail was waving from right to left, his ears kept shaking and he couldn't focus his attention on the slightest thing. And he arched one eyebrow of the other. In a year of living together, he had never seen him so much on himself.

"- Did you eat?

- No. And you?

- No.

- Okay? Do you want to eat something special?

- ... I thought to myself.. We could go out, right?

- The great Min Yoongi who asks me to go to the restaurant? There is a problem, will the house catch fire? Did you try to do something and did you failed it?

- Don't make fun of me! Do you want to go out yes or no? ”

The desire to tease him a little more had crossed his mind, but he said nothing. Just look at the hour. Almost twenty hours, he explains to her that he will just change, since it was obviously a special opportunity. And then they find themselves together in the older car. He seemed even more panicked, as he hoped he would say no, or something like that. And he can only watch him make the gesture of starting the car three times, without anything happening.

"Do you prefer that we stay at home? Can we have it delivered, you know?

- No! I took a table at Seokjin's, okay? Does it work for you at least?

- Of course. ”

In a reassuring way, he puts his hand against his thigh, to show him that he was with him no matter what happened and the mouse cat, takes a deep breath before starting the car. The streets are deserted, no living soul it was risky to walk in snowy weather and few people had agreed to take the risk this evening. Seokjin had completely abandoned his singing studies to finally take the risk of opening his own restaurant. It had finally worked very well, so several of them were born a little everywhere in Seoul. It was a warm and good place that delighted young and old. A place soft, chill and where you could easily come back.

"- Good evening.

- Good evening, I have a reservation on behalf of Min.

- One moment please... Good. Please follow me. ”

A smile from the waitress seems to make Yoongi even more nervous. And the young woman, a pretty redhead with adorable pig ears, accompanies them to their table. Not too much in the sight of people, but enough for the feline to be able to look everywhere and thus flee in case of danger. Even if in reality, he prefers to fight to death rather than leave his lover behind. He doesn't seem to be able to relax throughout the meal, making it quite funny. Unable to use chopsticks, things he has been eating with since his earliest childhood, he almost spill his dish more than once over him. Yoongi also almost drown in his glass, before deciding to just wait trembling for dessert.

"- Okay, okay, what? Is it a farewell dinner? Are you going to put me out?

- What? What makes you believe that?

- I don't know, you're super strange! So be you deceiving me, or you're going to put me out, or you're going to propose to me. ”

A deep breath passes the feline's lips, as he makes a circular turn of his gaze, as if someone was going to arrive and kidnap his lover. Then he passes a nervous hand through his hair, before looking at his man in front of him, even more lost. And it hurts him, one breath passes the lips of the other, while he puts his hands against the table surprising the feline, who suddenly feels stupid.

"- Ok. Okay, don't bother yourself, I understand. ”

A handful of Won to pay for his consumption, he passes his coat under the empty gaze of Yoongi who seems to regain consciousness when the waitress brings the desserts. With a sharp gesture, he also pays the bill, grabs his jacket without putting it back on and run after his lover already visibly coming home on foot. How this special evening could be so spoiled by his lack of self-confidence. Running in the snow trying not to fall, he catches him with a firm hand, his heart beating fast and the air really sorry to stick to his eyes terrifyied to lose him.

"- What else? Do you want the keys now?

- Marry you! I want to marry you Jimin! ”

The slight shock seems to lose Yoongi, while Jimin stares at him trying to understand if he was making fun of him. Then he takes the black case out of his jacket pocket, to open it on two beautiful rings. A black one with a red gold egg shell, and a white one with small black cat ears, and Jimin goes from the case to his lover, as if reality was going to hit him.

"- Wait, are you serious?

- Yes! Now be nice you want, accept and let's eat cakes.

- Cakes?

- I didn't get my dessert. And I really wanted to have a chocolate cake! ”

The yellow eyes rise to the sky, while Jimin simply takes the ring, putting it under the cat's delighted gaze, before being brought back to reality when a sneeze takes him. Quickly putting on his jacket to try to warm up under the monstrous laughter of his lover, they join the car hand in hand. And even if, he had caught a good cold, just looking at the ring on his finger while Hoseok is taking care of him, while Jimin’s at work makes him smile with all his teeth.

" - Not that bad you see, he said yes. No need to worry so much.

- What if now he realized that it was a mistake? ”
