Rant about what you didn't like this season, and and rant about what you loved the most this season!

What I didn’t like:

• All the Ben and Devi miscommunication after the boink. It was all pointless and stupid. The whole Dwight Howard thing was so so fucking dumb and unnecessary.

• Ben dating Margot

• The entire ridiculous parking lot scene of Ben telling Devi a bunch of bullshit reasons why they couldn’t be together and the show literally never addressing it. They had all this unnecessary conflict that was contrived strictly for drama so they could stall Ben and Devi getting together. It was super forced and so so freaking stupid. I more than dislike this I hate it with my whole heart. I could go on but this post would be insanely long.

• Ben being very out of character for the first 4 episodes and being the biggest dick in the world.

• Trent and Eleanor breaking up

• lack of Aneesa (I know Megan was filming a movie but if Aneesa was around she would have knocked the sense into Ben. Literally she would have hit him and yelled at him.)

• Ben and Devi never ever actually having a conversation about the whole first part of the season and why Ben was such a dick. I would have taken brief speech about how he was the one who was scared and insecure, that it truly had nothing to do with Devi. Really any conversation would have been better than NO CONVERSATION!!!!

The things I loved!:

• Nirmala finding love and getting marrieds plus everyone being so supportive and sweet about it. Letting her know it’s okay to be happy and move on!!!!

• Kamala taking a page out of Devi’s book and being a little meddling detective. It was cute and I loved it.

• Trent and Ben becoming friends!!!!!!! When Trent was telling Ben to go to Devi and tell her how he feels. I was screaming YES!!!! Tent was me in that moment.

• The UN’s conflicts and how they handled their friend fights. They have all grown so much and I adore them.

• Ben’s dream. That scene was iconic and I apologize for ever saying otherwise.

• Ben showing up to Devi’s house high with flowers. Like he was truly prepared to confess his love to her in front of her family.

• Ben and Devi’s talk outside the sort at Princeton, “You know who you are” 🥹.

• Paxton’s whole storyline. I loved it a lot and felt it was very realistic especially for someone who despite being hot and popular is actually pretty insecure. I loved how he went back to be a teacher!!! I’m so proud of him.

• NALINI DATING AND DEVI HELPING HER!!!!!!!!!!! Literally the cutest thing.

• Nalini and Devi’s whole relationship this season. I love them so much and they have come so far. The packing the suitcase scene 😭😭

• Devi’s college essay. I was ugly crying during the whole thing.

• The entire finale. It was so good.

• All the little cute benvi moments that showed how well they know each other.

• Devi telling Kamala that she was like her big sister (I cried).

• every single Dr. Ryan scene. They were all perfect.

1. this scene from crash landing on you. it’s a bit angsty but my heart was SWOONING (and crying). it’s Peak Romance for me because it’s so deliciously painful. and it truly expresses just how much these two love each other.

2. i was going to go with the iconic first kiss from extraordinary attorney woo but THIS scene. whew. it made my heart go JEIDIUWJCJSJSHS. it’s so very pushing daises and i just 😩

3. the strong woman do bong soon confession scene!! i was going to go with the piano kiss because it was sooo swoonworthy but this remains one of m y favorite confessions ever. it was so sweet and cheesy but so them. bongsoon finishing drawing the heart? their kiss?? i love it

4. weightlifting fairy kim bok joo has so many romantic moments that makes me feral but this sweet moment between them did a number on me. i’m all for the quiet and soft moments between characters where they do simple things for each other. and with the snow falling around them makes it so much for sweet

5. really all the cute moments between these two in mr. queen BUT this? THIS KISS?? it was so angsty and tender and sweet and AHHHHH the sheer romance of it all 😭

hey, sorry if you’ve already covered this, but what’s happens with Grim during Chapter 6?

Hi! I actually haven't mentioned Grim, so thanks for the excuse! I can't believe I almost forgot my boy 🌻

Spoilers for chapter 6 below

so just to recap from the beginning since I wasn't sure from which point to begin

he's taken away by Charon after his attack on MC reveals the consequences of him eating the blot stones

the next time we see him it's at [S.T.Y.X.]'s headquarters, he has returned to his senses and he cries about hurting MC and the worry of not being able to return to NRC

we kinda lose track of him after Ortho takes over the security system and Idia overblots.

Once the other students make their plan to stop the Shrouds and go in separate ways as teams, they each are on the lookout to see if they can spot Grim anywhere. Although unfortunately every time someone sees a figure about Grim's size and chases after it, it was always one of the escaped phantoms.

MC expresses worry over Grim's wellbeing. On the Pometrio side, they take a moment to observe how deep the tower gets and how cold the bottom feels. One of the dialogue options for MC is "is Grim down there on his own?"

Vil notices MC's worries and assures them that they will get Grim back.

They all show their optimism by talking about what they're going to do in the future, like when Rook tells MC that a cat the size of Grim must get their claws trimmed for health reasons, so MC should make sure to do it when they get back to NRC.

On the Riddle + Azul side, they're talking about some stories and Riddle mentions that one time he had to place a magic-cancelling collar on Grim because he scratched some furniture at Heartslabyul. It looks like he'll definitely get a manicure in the future 😭

The next time we actually see him it's when they get to the Shrouds. Grim is sitting on (phantom) Ortho's shoulder.

After the fight Idia, Ortho, and Grim fall down to the underworld which is similar to the river where Hercules has to dive into to save Meg in the movie. The effects are also similar (it ages any living beings.)

Vil jumps in after them to save them.

Grim is unconscious and he's not breathing, so Rook gives him emergency first aid. He coughs something out, and MC calls out for him. He finally reacts to MC's voice.

He cries and says he's sorry for hurting MC, and he wasn't sure if he would be allowed to return with them. He's relieved when they tell him that of course he's going back.

Back at NRC, all the other boys are happy about seeing them all return safely. When Ace and Deuce arrive they scold MC and Grim for leaving and making them worry. Ace even bonks them in the head 😭

Grim gets kind of smug like "oh? you two were worried about Ore-sama?" and it looks like he's about to tease them but begins crying instead. He's happy to be back 💖

bonus:

weeks later and after the celebration at Ramshackle dorm, MC and Grim are in their room at night. We get another scene with Mickey Mouse in the mirror and this time MC wakes Grim up on time. However, Grim is unable to see him.

Mickey is only able to see MC when they speak, but while MC was away he saw a guy come into the dream room. A boy with silver hair and mysterious eye colour, that disappeared before he could talk to him 👀

Tengen is completely aboard the power rangers train. His argument is: Theres five of us and five power rangers, it’s the perfect theme. This idea is vehemently rejected because there is no way in fuck this man is fitting into a power rangers costume.

Suma wants to go as the Teen Titans. Theres no backing to this except that she wants to put everyone in slutty costumes so she can ogle at us all night. She also just REALLY wants to do Tengen’s makeup (as Cyborg of course)

Makio wants to go as the five emotions from inside out. She also wants to be Joy. We tell her we can go if she agrees to be Disgust. Chaos ensues.

Hina wants to go as the Scooby Doo gang. Everyone likes this idea (except Tengen because we want him to be Scooby). But when it comes to deciding who gets to be who?? Forget being married and in love with each other. This house is a warzone now.

I want to go as the main cast of Big Hero 6. The only problem? We’re one character short. Also no one wants Fred’s eldritch horror costume. Theres considerations about bringing in Rengoku to wear Fred’s costume.

I got some eclipse glasses from my high school. do you think those will be okay? I can’t see out of them like regular sun glasses, the sun just looks like an egg yolk with everything else dark.

Sounds like they got you good glasses! If you look at the glasses on the inside or outside, you should see an ISO certification symbol, kind of like this:

This is also an excellent article on telling real glasses from counterfeit, which unfortunately are abundant due to online retailers.

If you can see the brand on the glasses, you can also search for it on this page!

But from what you've described, it sounds like you've got a good pair. And of course, if your eyes bother you at any time, you can look away and watch the shadows which are also super cool.

After watching the series in its entirety, I used to think that Ben loved Devi loved that she loved him (just a little bit which I endorse for reparations) but now I realize she loved him the whole time and just thought it wasn't a possibility. For all of s2 and s4 she wanted to be be with him and only him, and with s3 they were basically flirting the entire season and devi just didn't entertain him as a possibility because she didn't know how he felt. Once he made that known, she immediately went for it.

RIGHT!!! Like I’m going to be bold here and say that ever since the kiss at the end of season 1. Devi was down BAD for Ben. Like she went absolutely feral over him not talking to her in season 2. She literally never expressed that type of jealousy toward anyone else. I know she liked Paxton but she loved Ben.

She dated Paxton because Ben was dating Aneesa then she dated Des because she thought Ben just saw her as a friend.

After the hallway scene she was ready to risk it all and spent the entirety of season 4 OBVIOUSLY in love with Ben. Her dating Ethan was purely to make herself feel better. Like when he started texting her dumb little memes and stuff. She was so freaking excited to the point she almost forgot about her college troubles. And when she got in he was the one she wanted to tell first!!!!

In that little hallway scene I could tell she wanted to ask him to stay but she felt like she couldn’t. I think at that point she was waiting for him to do something, WANTING him to do anything.

When he came to the wedding, her world stopped. Like she literally tuned out everything else to focus on him. Then the absolute almost disbelief when he told her he “thinks he loves her” to the relief of him telling her “that he does love her”.

Her soft safe face while riding the scooter to his house was absolutely precious. Like she was so so freaking happy to finally FINALLY know that he loves her like she loves him.

We talk a lot about how Ben loves Devi but Devi LOVES Ben. She really showed that this season especially even when he didn’t really deserve it.

I know I have my complaints about this season but I am truly so happy it gave us them together and in love. It makes me ridiculously happy everytime I think about it.

this question is so hard because i have so many favorites 😭

1. Minhyuk (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon)

minmin has been my #1 fav male lead for years. swdbs was my first kdrama and he REALLY set the standard for me 😩 he’s so overdramatic and chaotic. we love a king who canonically gets weak in the knees whenever his gf beats people up and smiles

2. Seongyeom (Run On)

my B E L O V E D!! i was whipped for him before the first episode even ended. he’s so awkward but confident?? i’m a sucker for soft and quirky male leads. seongyeom is unintentionally hilarious and so sweet it hurts. plus? he’s not afraid to show emotion or cry or call people out on their BS. i love him 😭

3. Moohak (Dali & the Cocky Prince)

cold/stoic male leads are clearly not my type, i like the overdramatic weird/awkward ones who looks at their badass capable gf like “🥰🥹” moohak is a recent favorite. i finished dali & the cocky prince not that long ago but immediately knew he was a new favorite. he’s so wjcjjsjdjd

yes park hyungshik is on this list two times. idk why but i go absolutely feral over his characters. yihyun?? he literally pines for seobom for years and, somehow, gets a chance to fake marry her so that she can get an apartment...only for a zombie outbreak to happen. he’s the definition of ‘if you hurt my (fake) wife i’ll burn the world to the ground’ (and ofc seobom is the definition of ‘if you hurt my (fake) husband i will burn the world to the ground’). the good thing about this being a zombie outbreak is that everything heightened and we get so many moments of the two fighting side by side and going ‘who hurt you.’ plus he’s just so soft and tender and sweet but isn’t afraid to be the ‘bad cop’ (iykyk 😭)
