Little robots: the little city

S1E5: one big break

Summary: when messing around on their roller planks, sparky 1 gets badly injured. However, she and sparky 2 avoid going to the doctors based on rumors they have heard from other bots.

Extra note: since this is the first instalment where i didn't have an overarching plot in mind. So this is a short silly one before a slightly more serious part

*It had been a while since tiny had returned. Well, 3 days, but it was long enough for tiny to get accustomed to doctor life. He wasn't the kind of doctor that did anything to important like surgery or even prescriptions, but did do checkups, most fixes, and even breaks and internal repairs. Still, he had a lot to keep himself busy.

*he was well liked by the other robots, though. Mostly because of how patient and kind he was. He often chatted to his patients during checkups and even some fixes, and he loved helping others this way. Really, his life wasn't that much different as he was the only one who could fix the other robots.

*Meanwhile, the sparky twins are seen riding their roller planks. While they are called skateboards here, the sparkies still called them roller planks. It made them feel more personal to them. But that didn't change the fact that the two sparkies still would drive recklessly around their environment since they felt confident in their new home. This went fine before, and was indeed fun

Both: *cheering and laughing*

Sparky 1: Hey! Sparky 2! Check this move out!

* Sparky 2 stops on her plank and stands next to it as sparky 1 prepares to perform this supossed awesome move

Sparky 1: here I go! I'm gonna jump over this here ramp and *she falls of her roller plank, but her leg got caught on the ramp leading...

Sparky 1: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Sparky 2 (as 1 continues screaming): SPARKY 1! WE NEED TO GET TO TINY! HE'LL FIX...

Sparky 1 (panting): nn...no. we... he's to busy now.. let's think of something else....

Sparky 2: but we can't go to a robot doctor, those guys are mean! Like a lot of robots have told us, remember?

* For some context, sparky 1 and 2 had been hanging out with some younger robots who hate doctors because it's become cool to hate medical professionals, apparently.

Sparky 1: yes... you're right... we'll have to wait for tiny to be able to help me. I mean, as if stretchy would help with...this

*therefore, the sparkies went home, deciding to wait for tiny to be done with work to see if he can fix sparky 1's leg. That was until that evening, where a friend who was not tiny came over

*stripy had decided to pay the sparkies a vist. It had been a while since they had seen each other one on one so he thought it would be nice to pop by after work. He knocked on the door and waited.

*inside the house, the sparkies jumped at the sound of the door. While they did text tiny and he does know to come over after work, he shouldn't be out this early. Sparky 2 was encouraged to awnser the door, of course reacting more surprised when being met by stripy.

Sparky 2: stripy! What a pleasant surprise.. i ..uh . This isn't...

Stripy: I'm just popping in (he walks into their home) and .. oh no! Whats happened to you sparky 1?

Sparky 1: o..oh. hi stripy. Just.. a simple roller plank injury. No.. biggie

Stripy: yes, it's a biggie. You're legs been ripped of, we need to get you to a doctor (he picks her up) come on, the local clinic should be able to fix this

Sparky 2: no wait! She can't do that! The doctor won't help, we need to wait for tiny and...

Spripy: why is that? The doctors will help you with this injury. It is there jobs after all. Come on, it's for the best. Do you want sparky 1 to be in pain for longer than she needs to be.

*As sparky 1 and 2 look at each other, they silently agree to let stripy take sparky 1 to the doctors office. Slowly shuffling to the office, he drops her of inside as everyone rushed to aid. Luckily they saved her leg as well. And what do you know, tiny was the one to attend to her.

*later

Sparky 1!' Cried sparky 2 as she almost knocked sparky 1 over in a tackle heart.

Tiny: careful sparky 2, she's still need to keep it easy to recover.

*no other words were said, only the silent sobs of reunited sisters and that of tiny only motioning for them to leave, as he leaves his shift as well. As they all walk to their respective homes, one conclusion was made, sometimes its what's best is what's hard.

Little robots: the little city

S1E7: stage playing

Summary: scary auditions for a local play, since he feels he lacks purpose without acting.

*Tiny was in his humble home enjoying his evening, when he got a knock at his door. It was scary

Tiny: ello scary! What's going on?

Scary: the most wonderful thing has happened, dear boy! I've gotten the opportunity to audition for a local play! Little red riding bot, the name. It's my chance, to regain my status as a first class actor!

Tiny: oh wow! Well done scary!

Scary: Well, I haven't been accepted into the play yet. Is in an audition after all.

Tiny: Well in that case, I wish you luck!

Scary: thank you, dear boy!

* At the local theatre, the auditons begin. There were some talented actors, and some that made it out that they really let anyone that asked to audition. Still, scary was determined to make this the best performance of his life.

Coms: scary robot, your on

Scary: Ah, my time, to shine! Muwahaha

*Scary makes his way to the stage, seeing a group of judges and the plays director. From where he stood, most would be scared, but scary was an actor. The only reason he would be scared of a theatre is if it was all an act. So, he was going to give a truly grand performance.

Judge 1: now, Mr scary. I know you're a bit new around here but I'm sure you know what you're doing here

Scary: I am here to act, am I not. Because if I am not then why am I here

Judge 2: seems passionate

The director: well, you said you'd try out for the wolf, how about you give us a segment of a 'sneaky but sinister villain'. Go ahead.

Scary: Of course. *Ahem* mwahaha. What are you doing out here, little red. I suppose you could be lost. Not to worry, you won't be in any more danger than you are in now

Judge 1: well, I'm impressed. I think you're one of the best actors that have auditioned so far. Wouldn't you agree

Judge 2: indeed. Perfect for the wolf.

The director: Well, regardless, we'll decide later whether or not you're chosen for the role. You have proven yourself a talented actor. We'll let you know if we think you'll be a good fit for the role.

Scary (absolutely beaming): Oh, thank you, good man. I'm grateful for this opportunity, regardless. I'll take my leave. Adeui.

*As scary takes his leave, judge 2 speaks up again

Judge 2: we really need to let our new manager that he needs to get the roof fixed.

The director: agreed

*later, backstage

* The 'temporary manager' was stretchy. Not to supriseing really. Being a workaholic, he's taken many jobs around town. The important thing here is that he is working as the theatres manager for the time being, helping with the production of the upcoming play. Unfortunately, lovely wanted in on this play and still had yet to give up on her mission to wrap stretchy around her fingers as well. This meant that when preparing for her audition and seeing stretchy behind stage, this was the perfect opportunity to do a bit of flattery based flirting.

Lovely: I didn't realise you worked here, handsome. Not surprising that a smart man like yourself would be a ... manager here. How quaint. And hot.

* Stretchy only responds with a grunt as he gets back to his work, ignoring lovely as she continues to ramble on, trying to butter him up.

Stretchy: uuurrg, of course, now that I'm here they now decide to fix this dump.

Lovely: Oh, is there something stressing you out, baby? Here, tell it to lovely

Stretchy: don't you have anything better to do

Lovely: oh no, not for a while

*but it wasn't for a while, the auditons were over and lovely missed her auditon for the role of little red, so the part was given to someone else.

*Since lovely missed her final audition, moony was chosen for the role of little red riding bot. They weren't the best fit, but she was the best of the options given to the judges. Lovely was enraged. After all, that was her role. Not that her rage mattered for once since no one noticed her when practice began. And thus, the play began a few months later.

The story of little red riding bot, is a simple one. Once, little red was told by her mother to take some spare parts to her ill fell grandmother. So, she did. Grandmother lived deep within a forest of steel, and so red trundled on through. Soon, she was met with a wolf. He wanted the spare parts for his lunch. And so, he asked where red was going, and she replied. So when little red refused to give the wolf the scrap, he went to grandmother's house and locked her in the basement so he could use her spare outfit to trick the little bot into giving him the spare metal. So little red got to her grandmother's house, but immediately noticed something was off. Her eyes were too big, her ears were too fuzzy, and her teeth were too sharp. It was the wolf. So red decided to flee. The wolf gave chase, until he saw a woodsman chopping wood in the forest who chased the wolf off. Soon, grandmother was rescued and repaired. And so, aside from the wolf, they all live happily ever after.
