I think Rick and Diane are my new comfort characters. Drawing them is very comfortable and gives me a lot of joy ^^

I think when Rick was working in the garage on some experiment Diane sometimes liked to get in his way.

Diane seems like the type of person who would be more open with her feelings. She probably made it clear how much she cared about Rick.

It's ''The Show'' release day!! ok, first of all: i LOVED it. Niall really delivered his most cohesive and well thought project ever. Here's my top3:

1. My favorite song was the ''The Show''. My only criticism on this one is that it wasn't the first or last track on the album. The production is so beautiful... it sounds so big and kind of dramatic in the sense an opening/ending song of a show (a musical maybe) would be and his vocals are so solid and just great. It's such a good a reflection on life itself, on the difficulties we go through and on growing up because of them. My favorite lines from this one are: "lookin' at the sun our whole lives we're blinded by the lights" and "life is like a board game some of the time".

2. My second favorite: Never Grow Up. I can't even describe how in love with this song I am. It is kind of nostalgic, i think? It SOUNDS nostalgic. The production is amazing and his "la-la-la"s give that vibe, yk? And it's all about being with someone and hoping to live a life with them, but not losing the magic of what made you fall in love. It's hard to pick just a few lines from this one because the whole song is about Niall giving examples of how he hopes he and his partner will be years ahead, but i just wanna say that "hope we grow old, but we never grow up" sums it up pretty well.

3. Closing my top3: If You Leave Me. I loved the way this song was produced. For me, it was really brilliant to hear the way his voice got put further away and the instrumental jumped forward. It feels like it was heavier and louder and almost cacophonous (especially in the chorus), because this track is when he "wakes up from his dream" and is forced to reflect on the devastating consequences of losing The One if it ever really happens. Anyway, this song has way too many amazing lines but oh my God... ''if you leave me hope you know that you're sentencing me to a life on my knees'' is Niall at his best regarding lyricism.

(I also want to give a quick honorable mention to Save My Life. The melody on this one is so pretty and dreamy. And I love how he describes loving on this song: "it gives me shelters but leaves me open").
