THINKING ABOUT WHAT HORIKOSHI WROTE ON THE FIRST VOLUME OF 'MY HERO ACADEMIA'
[ "This is the first volume of my third serialization.
If I can be blunt, this time around I focused on making a manga that would entertain me first and foremost.
It might not ever become terribly popular, but since I'm having tons of fun, I'd be more than pleased if you took the same amount of pleasure out of my work." ]
think what u want about the series but you cant deny its a HUGE success! PLEASE just draw and write what you want, your target audience should always be YOU <3

Not an ask BUT AAAHHHH I ADORE YOUR ART AND I WISH YOU NOTHING BUT THE BEST!! Also, also, Off!Valley Dedan my fucking beloved. He's my baby girl and your art got me acting up 😩🤌🏼 I need that man on my lap. And sorry to sound repetitive but your art is just phenomenal and I admire the dedication to your work with art, animations and the fact that you're making an animated OFF series like HOLY SHIT.
EEE thank you!!!! 💖💖This makes me happy.

my problem with drawing is i know i need to practice to get better, but i only get motivated to draw when i have a Big Idea in my head.
I'm not good at breaking down the big idea into smaller pieces that would still leave me as excited to draw,, does anyone have advice for dealing with this?
Having the instant gratification seeking brain is hell and i don't want to kill my love for the bigger ideas through the longer process of Improvement.
They are like little sticky notes to come back to when i have the ability to explore them the way I see them in my head
