So fun thing about my home town, the pubs eg the Irish pub is right next to the highway where there is no parking

if you want to drunk you have to not too drunk as not to become a pancake on the road lol.

Apparently the place is good according to my dad as I can’t drink because I’m 16

also there’s just this random gentlemen’s bathroom or something named like that, it isn’t functioning, it’s probably there from the old train track before they only transported goods.

Yooooo idk why but it just hit me that we were in the same room for our show (Charlotte) and this is so silly of me but i’m like giddy over it haha!! my fav fic writer and i were in the same room dancing to the same songs and hearing YOU DEBUT??????

I AM SMILING SO HARD RIGHT NOW. That Charlotte show might have just been one of the best nights of my life, no lie. I was with my Bestie and my other best friend from college, listening to my favorite band and they played YOU?! I think poor Bestie had a bruise on her arm from me squeezing her wrist so tight with excitement 😂 My apple watch also asked if I was working out because apparently my heart rate was so high from general excitement and also flailing around and dancing. It's so crazy that we were both there though? Like I know there were thousands of people there and we don't know each other but it's also almost as if we were there together, and yeah idk I'm feeling sappy. Sometimes I just... watch the few videos we took of the concert back again and am just like Wow. I am so happy. I am so thankful I got to experience that with some of my absolute favorite people. (But seriously when they started playing You I was convinced I was hallucinating, I was like I have not had *that* many Truly's WTF)

Also did... did you just say I was your fav fic writer 🥺 I truly don't know how to comprehend that with so many extremely talented people in this fandom, but just like. Thank you. Thank you so much. I'm so glad that my little stories of Fictional!Matty suffering can bring you joy and I'm just, thank you so much for reading!

Funny story actually about the concert, I was determined to get a poster, and the merch line I was in ran out. So I then proceeded to full on SPRINT around the entire venue trying to find another merch line that still had some. I found one that had a few left kind of tucked off to the side, but it also had a long line. So. I made friends with a teenage girl and her mom in the line kind of near the front. And paid her $50 to get me a poster 😭 It was probably one of the most unhinged things I have ever done, but I was getting that poster goddammit. I'm going to my final show next week and I am ready to go to WAR to get a poster from that show as well.
