and then you realize that their idea of simplicity is based solely on declaring who is morally at fault, and having decided that and posting about it online they're relieved the burden of ever conceptualizing an actual outcome to everything going on, because their activism begins and ends with identifying the "good guys" versus "bad guys" and not talking about what the fuck is supposed to happen next, and definitely not addressing any of the actual core political problems or history therein that have enabled this genocide

You can't get me truly condemn Hamas for the simple reason that any and all violence can be traced back to Israel, palestianians would not have turned to violence were it not for isreal, hamas would not be their only option were it not for Israel, Palestinian suffering would not exist were it not for Israel, Israeli civilians would not have been killed were it not for Israel stealing Palestinian land and letting israelis live in the houses they stole and continuing to be violent towards Palestine with knowledge that they would retaliate and that civilians, not soldiers or government officials would be in the firing line.

You want an end to the violence of Hamas, put an end to the genocidal violence that is Israel.

I know certain parts of Star Wars fandom are determined to see literally everything about the Jedi in the most bad faith way possible but one of the most baffling examples to me is when people act like they look down on all other force religions and don't take the time to understand them because they see their own way as superior when there is quite literally nothing to suggest that. Like the only other force users they have any actual beef with on principle are the Sith, which I'd say is justified considering the Sith are a bunch of fascist pricks who constantly try to take over the galaxy. I feel really guilty admitting this but I have to because I desperately want to understand. I don't know what is going on between Israel and Gaza. I don't understand who is attacking who, who started, which one is Jewish and most importantly why is it that being against war is antisemitic???
