Hi guys,
I love reading comments about what products you would like to see me review and recently there has been many mentions of Primark Beauty. If you don't know Primark is a clothing store that sells fashion, lifestyle and now cosmetics and they are known for releasing makeup dupes! Since a lot of people know this, trying to get the products can be tricky but luckily I got my hands on 2 of the products you have all been requesting me to try!
The first makeup dupe we are going to chat about is the Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer , £4.50 45ml. Now based on packaging, formula and name we can all see this is a dupe for Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and my god is it a good one. Like the original product this primer is also advertised as being a hydrating face base primer to hydrate and product your skin's barrier before applying makeup. I have tried this for a few days and if I'm being totally honest I couldn't see much difference with how my makeup lasted during the day compared to when I wear the BB version. Obviously this one is more affordable but down the colour of the primer everything is extremely similar which blew my mind! I would rank this dupe a 5/5.
I also couldn't resist picking up the Matte Lipstick in the shade Daydreamer which is apparently a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick. Packaging wise I would say this is spot on however when you compare the two shades of lipsticks Pillow Talk has a clear pink undertone whereas the Daydreamer shade has a more warmer coral undertone. But I have to admit it is a gorgeous colour on the lips nonetheless. Ironically though when I was taking pictures for this blogpost, under the ring light the colour looked more similar to Pillow Talk then in sunlight. I would rank this dupe a 2/5.
Primark have so many dupes in there collection I would be happy to review more now I know you want to see more posts like this. If you want to check out these products yourself head over to your nearest Primark but be quick because these dupes are selling fast!
Lots of love

Bella swan for the style guide thing🩷🩶
Sorry if that's boring lol love youuu
Its not boring at all!!! I just did a twilight re read the other weekend, so this is actually perfect, and ily too 🤍
Starting with the basics
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We have these cream and purple long sleeved Henley tops. I don't think that she wears any other henleys, but I feel like they fit in well with her overall style, so I'm including them anyways
Where to buy: Hollister - Women's - henley long sleeve top in white. Tommy Hilfiger - Women's - Ribbed Slim Fit Henley Neck Top.
Bella really loves simple, warm outfits. She wears a lot of long sleeve jumpers in neutral colours
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Where to buy: Hollister, Brandy Melville, Primark, Abercrombie and Fitch and
She typically pairs these jumpers and long-sleeves with skinny jeans of the dark wash variety
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I personally love jeans from Hollister. They have a bunch that fit her exact style. Other places to buy jeans from include Brandy Melville, Calvin Klein, Diesel and Levi's. You can also look buy jeans from second hand shops too
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her plaid shirts are mostly green or dark blue and worn over plain tank tops. I refuse to buy any plaid shirt unless it comes from the mens section of a charity shops or my dad's wardrobe.
These are the closest copies I could find of the shirts she wears
www.etsy.com/ie/listing/1023881499/woolrich-vintage-plaid-dark-green-shirt?gpla=1&gao=1&.
https://ie.boohoo.com/oversized-checked-shirt/FZZ46821.htm (add an l to the end of it)
https://us.boohoo.com/brushed-oversized-check-shirt---/FZ (add a Z to the end of it)
https://www.llbean.ca/shop/Mens-Scotch-Plaid-Flannel-Shirt-Traditional-Fit/42272.htm (add and l to the end of it)
Tumblr media
This is one of the few times we actually see Bella wear a dress (outside of formal events) and its basically just like her normal style.
https://www.prettylittlething.ie/grey-marl-long-sleeve-bodycon-dress.htm (add and l to the end) is the closest dupe I could find for it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, her trusty brown and tan jackets. They're definitely some of my fav clothes from the movies and I unironically own a few like these. She wears a few different ones in a variety of different shades and materials. I recommend searching up the closest description for each one to get the desired item.
https://www.themoviefashion.com/product/twilight-swan-bella-slimfit-leather-jacket (add a /)
https://suitingstyle.com/product/bella-swan-black-leather-jacket (add a / )
These are both exact replicas but I'd be careful ordering off of those sites and make sure to read reviews on trip advisor and such
Tumblr media
creds to kristenstewartu on Instagram for the pic (I cropped it so you only see the shoes)
Bellas shows are mostly black boots (she wears some basic trainers in the first movie) and heels. I'd recommend these:
New Look - Women's Wide Fit Black Suedette Block Heel Court Shoes
Rocket Dog Womens Sidestep Boots Black
Tumblr media
Bella has lovely long brown hair with reddish undertones. She wears it slightly wavy and usually just left out without putting it up. It closely matches the shade 'Chocolate Touch' by Wella hair products.
Hope you like the guide @izzy444angel and I'm doing the Bella Hadid one for you now xoxo it's past midnight where I am so I won't get it done until tomorrow, but it's coming 🩷🩷🩷🤎🤎🤎

Exact Items from Each Episode
lucia <[email protected]> submitted to uncloseted:
do you know where effy got all her outfits? also where can i find effy outfit dupes?
102: Effy’s rave dress was made by customising 2 dresses: one from Oasis and the other a vintage one from a charity shop.
206: Her “death of the bunny girl” tee is from Psycho Bunny.
207: Effy’s underwear was from Primark and Marks & Spencer.  Her striped jeans in this episode are from phunky phish.
301: Effy’s bag is from Claire’s Accessories, her necklaces are vintage, her boots are Sancho, and her dress is from Tom Tailor- “Effy’s dress started off life as a slightly more modest party dress by Tom Tailor, we hacked about 10 inches off the hem, chopped the sleeves off, boiled it and dip dyed the hem- only then did it truly look like it belonged in Effy’s wardrobe.”
302: Her leather jacket is from a “dodgy” leather shop in Bristol, and I think it continues to be the same leather jacket for the duration of the series. Her maroon dress is from Concrete.
304: Effy’s dress is the Doll Dress from the brand We Walk, and the image on it is Times Square.  It was purchased from TopShop and some slight alterations were made to it.  The pajamas were of course handmade.
305: Effy’s first dress was the “Doll Dress” from the brand We Walk, also sold as the Topshop City Skyline Dress in TopShop Unique collection. The dress in the pub was by Religion.  Her “I deserve this” t-shirt (the one with the bunny when she’s with Cook) is by Iron First.
306: Effy’s pink and black ladybug dress was by People’s Market.
307: The winking eye shirt is from TopShop.
308: The “Sid and Nancy” shirt is from TopShop. The wafty chiffon dress is by People’s Market and has woodland creatures on it. Her sweater is from TopShop.  Her jacket is the “dodgy” one, although I’ve seen people (on the internet, not Edward) say that it’s either from Urban Outfitters, TopShop, or Zara.
404: Effy’s headband is handmade.  Her top is the Sequin Cowl Neck Tank Top from Ashish.  Her shoes are Doc Martens.
405: The bloodshot eyes t-shirt is by Horace and the jewel encrusted vest at the party is by Ashish.  The print dress is from A Thousand Reasons. For her outfit in the park, the dress is from Primark, customized with sleeves made from an H&M scarf, Doc Marten boots, and a TopMan hoodie.
407: Effy’s top under her blazer is TopShop.  The blazer is a tailored boy’s tuxedo jacket from the forties (found at Portobello Market), and the enamel badges on it are a mix of kitsch badges and Russian Revolutionary pins.  She wears Levi 501’s and Doc Marten boots when she goes to see Freddie.
Skins Fire: Virtually everything is from TopShop, except for the pink cardigan, which is H&M, and the metallic color-block dress, which was Herve Leger.
Effy’s necklaces are “a mixture of old necklaces, rosaries and cheap gold chain which were cobbled together” from various flea markets and high street shops.
In general, Edward Gibbon, the costume designer has said that, “Effy loves shopping in unexpected places - other peoples houses / old ladies wardrobes / her gran’s charity bag and then she customises with scissors and a blowtorch!” and “Effy’s clothes are from all over the place - a lot of her t-shirts/short dresses are from Kokon To Zai on Greek Street in Soho and Concrete on Marshall Street”.
In terms of where to find the outfits, you’re kind of out of luck unless you set up alerts for the items on eBay and other resale websites.  When looking for dupes, I try to describe the item as best I can (”silver sequin cowl neck top” or whatever), and then see which results are the most accurate.  It’s not a foolproof method but usually it gets pretty close.

Hey guys,
I have been reading your lovely comments and I spotted a dupe a few of you have mentioned and want me to try out! So today we are chatting about the PS… Pro Cream Contour Wand , £4.50 vs Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand, £30.00.
First off we have the Hollywood Contour Wand, I have been using this wand for years now and it is a gorgeous light cool toned creamy liquid formula that is so easy to blend out to create a natural contoured finish. Charlotte Tilbury are known for their squeezy tube/ cushion applicator product design because it's so easy to apply and blend out. The cushion applicator also has a twist lock so when you get the right amount of product in your cushion you can lock it so you don't waste product. I adore this product and honestly though I love dupes I will always have this product in my collection.
Now we have it's dupe the PS… Pro Cream Contour Wand which is already £25.50 cheaper than it's luxury brand sister. Straight away you can tell the packaging is extremely similar it terms of the tube and cushion lock applicator. Compared the CT wand I would say the PS formula is a more warmer tone whereas the CT is a more cooler brown shade. I have to admit both blend like a dream in my foundation and apply pretty much the same from the cushion.
While I adore my Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood wand I would say if you're looking for a more affordable option this could be a great dupe for you to try out. Once you blend out both formulas they both give you a very similar finish that my friend's couldn't tell which was which. So overall a dupe success I think!
As always all products mentioned in my blog post are linked above!
Lots of love

07.10.23 — day 1 of 100 productive days.
Been a busy Saturday today. I started my first essay for my diploma and it’s focused on legislation relating to the health and safety of children. I’ve also got my eyes tested (new prescription, woohoo!) and booked an appointment for a contact lense consultation.
For my essay I’ve been researching different legislation which inform general day to day work with children alongside reading up on my own centers policies (health and safety, medicine, adverse weather policy etc). I have to analyse the gov ones which is always fun.
Todays favorites have been: apple juice, my Taylor Swift cardigan and my clog mule slippers from Primark (Birkenstock dupes)

[ad_1] As the cost of living continues to cause strain on our purse strings, many consumers are looking for creative ways to cut down on their spending. Whether it's your food shop at Aldi or how to spot the bargains at B&M, the co-founder of the money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk, Tom Church has recently shared a wide range of savvy hacks for shoppers. His latest advice involves the retailer Primark - best known for its budget-friendly clothes, homeware and beauty dupes.  Tom Church from LatestDeals.co.uk has shared his top 5 tips for saving money at Primark. (PA) (Image: PA) Tom shared:"Primark is a fantastic retailer if you’re on a budget. There’s a wide selection of items from beauty to fashion to home, and you can get the whole family kitted out for less. "However, there’s always things you can do to make sure you’re getting the best deals, so I’m sharing my top five tips to save at Primark". Newsquest has approached Primark for comment. How to find £1 deals at Primark Tom notes that products are Primark are "generally fantastic value" already but there are some ways that you can find even better deals. He explained:"I’ve found that most of the time when I go into the store, I can find sections with reduced items, and deals are usually around 45% to 60% off. "Discounted racks and sections tend to be spread out throughout the store, so you have to be thorough and look carefully to find the best deals." The savvy shopping expert also recommends that customers look out for red reduction signs that point out reduced sections. Tom also shared some examples from his local store including that a pair of platform sliders were reduced from £7 to just £3, summer dresses were down from £9 to £5, a paisley top was reduced by £4 as well as a ‘reduced to £1’ stand in his local store. Save extra 8% with Cashback The Latest Deals.co,UK co-founder also shared that you can get 8% cashback every time you shop at Primark. He explained that shoppers can access this when they sign up to JamDoughnut and download the app. Tom added: "You’ll also get a £2 bonus on your first purchase using JamDoughnut as well, so it’s worth signing up and earning these rewards. “With the 8% cashback, that means if you spend £10 at Primark, you’ll earn 80p back. It may not seem like a lot, but it’s better than nothing, and as Primark is such an affordable retailer anyway, it just makes it even better value. "JamDoughnut works with 150+ retailers, restaurants and supermarkets, so it’s worth checking out where else you can earn cashback". Get 10% Off Faulty Products Tom Church also spoke to a Primark employee whom he asked about how shoppers can get extra discounts. He shared:"Apparently, if you find an item that’s damaged or faulty, you can take it to a store manager and request a discount." What Tom found most interesting about this policy sit that it can include clothes that are stained with make-up, which happens a lot in the changing rooms. Tom continued:"You could get an extra 10% off the item, so it’s worth keeping an eye out, particularly if it’s something that can be easily fixed when you get it home".  Customers can also save up to 90% by shopping Primark's dupes. ( Danny Lawson/PA) (Image: Danny Lawson/PA) Save 90% with Primark Dupes Many Primark customers know and love the retailer for its dupes of designer products.  Tom shared:"For example, Primark recently released a range of Olaplex hair product dupes including shampoos, conditioners, masks and oils. I also found dupes for the Comme Des Garcons Converse trainers. "They retail for £140 and Primark’s alternative is just £12. They’re not exactly the same, but a great option at 91% less. “Primark is excellent value, but some items are better buys than others. You can normally find a lot of branded items in store, for example, their Disney and Marvel ranges. If you’re looking for the best deal though, you should avoid these items".  “You’ll always pay a premium on their branded items, for example, a Winnie the Pooh sleep shirt costs £11 compared to an unbranded one that costs just £5. "That’s a £6 price difference, so if you’re serious about saving money, avoiding these branded items is an easy way to cut your shopping costs".  Use Social Media to See What’s New at Primark Tom Church also recommends following deal and shopping profiles on TikTok and Instagram to see what’s new and on offer in-store at Primark. He added: "For example, Latest Deals on TikTok just published a video of all the latest Primark shoe dupes including Birkenstock, Converse, and Croc dupes. "It’s a great way to know what’s cheap in-store before you go in.” [ad_2]
