I wrote this little one shot idea after Lunar killed Eclipse, just never finished it. So decided to share it here. I don't care about any of the mistakes because this is literally just copied out of my "Unfinished works" drafts. I don't think I'll finish it, so just enjoy this sketched out idea I had!

Warnings: suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, mentions of death, mentions of suicide attempt(?)

Just a step. Nothing more is needed. Making a hard decision always needs a bold, first step towards the goal you wish to reach. Everyone has a goal, no matter how benefitial or morally acceptable that goal is. We have goals we share with the world, steps we're not scared to take. Or maybe we're scared, but we take the step either way. Most of the times, as we slowly go on the labyrinth of decisions just to taste victory for a moment, wether to go on further after that or not, we can step back. Or just look back how far we've come, what paths we chose to reach our beloved destination.

Sometimes, when we're too scared to take steps forward though, the time as we stay frozen in place can be long. Sometimes, it's because we overthink the unknown, or the possible outcomes. Theories upon speculations, poured into worry, anxiety, and fear. Being aware how fragile the path we're on, too frightened to mess it up, so we drown in our desperate attempts in getting an actual answer before we make the decision.

But sometimes, the reason we stay frozen in place, thinking and waiting, is because we know what's coming with this decision. The consequences, the outcomes, the reactions. The knowledge of what's hand in hand with such a hard and drastic choise makes us stay in place usually. Maybe even pretending we are taking steps, but truly, we are not getting any closer to the goal we long for. Everyone has their reasons why they wouldn't take the step, why stay in place as everybody goes by. Why watching and waiting until the ones we started our journey with are long gone. Everyone has their reason.

For Sun, he was aware he won't be able to step back, or look back afterward. He knew how deep he was in the maze, and how lost he was. There was a path he knew he could take, a victory too tragic yet welcoming he could easily reach out to, but he refused. He hated to admit to himself how much he longed to take that step, how much he wanted to reach a goal not everyone would understand. Would anyone ever understand actually?

Why would they? They didn't even care to see if he is okey. They only reached out when they needed something from him. And sure, it was fine logically, there was enough of a mess around this family, he understood why everyone was dealing with their own problems, but it still hurted.

Sitting alone at home all the time when he is not in the daycare seemed like therapeutic from the outside view, everyone thought Sun was simply relaxing with his cats and having fun. But as Sun thought one night, during a lonely dinner because Moon was busy with Solar: "Everyone is blind to see the signs until it's too late. Not like I'm trying to show it," he said quietly to himself as he turned the tv off that night, petting Thunder on his lap with a sad smile "but I know my act sometimes slips. Yet here I am, and no one sees through my clear act. Nevermind it though.."

The truth is, that every day was a fight. A constant battle with emotions, nightmares, hallucinations, things he was glad didn't go on the channel anymore. The editor was probably too focused on everyone else that's more important than him. Him, who is technically the name of the channel.

He couldn't lie to himself, he was jealous. Mad too, and depressed day and night. Everyone was slowly moving forward in their lifes, yet he felt like he was stuck in place, and nobody cared enough to look back and see if he is still on their side. Why would they care after all? He is just Sun. Sun, the stupid one. The weak one. The clumsy one. The replaceable one. The one who watched everyone either die or be tortured and changed. The one who started all of this, yet no one seemed to care.

"Why would they care about a murderer?" A voice echoed in Sun's head, a way too familiar voice he couldn't get rid of no matter what. He thought it got better, and sure, he didn't see Bloodmoon every time he heard him, but it was still so hard to focus on anything when that bloody maniac was there, one way or another.

Sun just finished putting the cats down in the basement, and he locked the door. He didn't remember much of it, too deep in his own thoughts. But now that he stood there, his task finally done, he realized how... heavy everything felt. He was tired, yet almost fully charged. His hands were shaking, and when that voice spoke, it made things worse. Sun closed his eyes, sucking in a bit of air to not loose it just yet.

"Don't.." talking was harder than Sun thought, he surely had a headache, but the mental weight on his frame just didn't seem to make this easy for him "Don't make this harder..." Sun muttered, at the edge of crying, as he leaned his forehead against the closed door. He heard his cats meow and hiss in worry, definetly sensing Sun's breakdown, which just made Sun feel more guilt than he already was.

He had something in his head this morning. The lingering thought of the lighthouse being high enough for something he wished for so long. A step he could take into the thin air, feeling free for at least a moment, and ending this every day battle with himself. He didn't want to keep doing this. He could've just went up there any day and end this, but he knew no one would understand. He knew how guilty Moon would feel.

As much as depression tried to convince Sun nobody cared, Sun knew at least his brother would care enough he'd blame himself for Sun's decision. Depression's answer was always Solar and Earth, who seemed to be closer to Moon than Sun, which left an ache in Sun's code, but he knew Moon would still feel guilty. Solar and Earth could help him move on and cope, but he would still hurt Moon. This tiny, fragile thread of guilt and fear of hurting his Moon again gave enough strength to Sun to continue this never-ending battle. But this morning, something seemed to snap in him.

Appearantly, Lunar killed Eclipse. This was the first messages Sun was greeted with this morning. Granted, this was a horrible situation, and Sun was aware how damaging killing someone is. But... Lunar killed for revenge. Out of pure spite and hatred, in a situation where he wasn't even in danger. It was all on the YouTube channels.

Sun watched the two separate videos over and over again, not even bothering to dress up and get some coffee just yet. He had a day off, and planned on relaxing and playing with his cats, which seemed to all shatter when he saw the videos. Lunar enjoyed killing Eclipse. The only reason he seemed to feel some short of guilt was because Earth freaked out and left. But that guilt wasn't towards Eclipse. He saw how Solar scooped up and helped Lunar away from the scene, but there was something in both videos that made Sun feel an amount of different feelings he couldn't handle. His hands were shaking, and he didn't even realize how bad the videos affected him until heavy oil tears dropped on his phone screen.

Lunar killing Eclipse is okey?! Everyone seemed to be so calm about this situation and supportive towards Lunar. Why were they so supportive? Lunar JUST killed somebody! This wasn't even the Eclipse who killed him and hurted him!

And the worst part is, when Sun wanted to kill Eclipse, it was bad. The moment he tried to help his family, he was 'becoming just like Eclipse' as Lunar said. And now .. now its okey to kill Eclipse.

Why wouldn't it be okey for the family's favourite brother after all? The one who's trauma was recognized, taken care of. The one everyone was tiptoeing around to make sure he was fine. The one who had the opportunity to seek for help, get a second chance in life, have time to heal, and constantly distract himself. The one who became family the moment he turned his back on Eclipse, the one who only had to endure one hit in his life before getting blown up, the one who dared to say Sun is just like Eclipse for WANTING to kill him-

Sun snapped out of his thoughts when his phone shattered loudly against the wall. Did he just throw it away?

regarding pre-debut belts. it’s only 1 or 2 that really get talked about, most of his best notes are pretty recent. it seems that before getting into sm he had a more “by the book” approach and afterwards he had to carve out a space for himself next to taeil which resulted in an overall lighter, more stylistic approach and unfortunately regression, from which he also bounced back, albeit he has some quirks he could work on, such as not sounding open enough. his breathiness is stylistic fortunately and he can “turn it off” where he wants to, but he does tend to sound light. he’s very consistent when it comes to his upper range and feels at ease in a territory where many singers around his level very often struggle. it definitely seems like he knows and wants to improve, and i hope wanting to debut solo sometimes soon will push him to get seriously into training (cause only a good teacher will allow him to progress further, he’d need to learn really advanced stuff) and push him to new highs. busy as he is, it’s probably tricky to fit consistent vocal lessons into his schedule.

i honestly don’t pay that much attention to jaehyun’s live singing, but improving on details comes with experience and if he’s more “stable” live then that’s stamina. no technical progress from him whatsoever.

You support my suspicion that he developed the voice both because of his role in Tende/127 (Taeil and Doyoung can and do sound alike on some notes, so widening the gap is benefitial) and getting "instantly recogniseable voice". Doyoung used to talk a lot about wanting a voice that stands out.

I know that his breathiness is a choice. All YT vocal teachers point it out after first listen. The kpop "vocal community" often thinks otherwise, heh.

He can fit in Japanese lessons. Vocal lessons can be done via online as well. He is always busy, ans still found time for lessons for the musical. He needs a teacher who can "push him to new highs".

Jaehyun sounded noticeably weaker then IlDo upon debut, and now he is the 3d most technically advanced neo. Really, no progress?

Jaehyun will participate in a musical in half a year. There will be enough live singing to judge.

Meet Dinho and Grace!

Grace ~

Grace's origins are unknown, not even her know where she came from. All she knows is that she appeard one day at this tiny city witouth memory and that she has a weird jewel attached to her tail.

Grace is very easy going and optimistic, always accepting to help anyone. She owns a tiny bakery shop, where she spends most of her time. Sometimes she can be a little shy and isolate herself a bit. Her tiny companion is a little bunny that is named... Bunny! She doesn't go anywhere witouth them!

Grace enjoys hanging out to appreciate nature and how peaceful it is. She doesn't mind crowds, but for some reason she feels more comfortable when no one — Except Bunny — is around.

Dinho ~

Dinho is your typical cheerful caramel dog, having quite a high self-esteem, they're a "professional" runner.

Dinho has a bubbly personality and sometimes he can be a little... Cocky, principally after he wins a race.

Despite that, he is still a good guy, being very kind and loyal. Dinho enjoys doing sports, as he can be a little too energetic.

He doesn't have much patience and can lose focus pretty easily, so don't mind if you're talking to him and he's looking around, he's probably listening to you, he just can't stay still.

Dinho and Grace ~

One afternoon Grace was invited to watch a benefitient race. At first, she didn't wanna go there, but Bunny convinced her otherwise.

At the race, Dinho's eyes met hers, and for him, it was a instant crush. Easily, Dinho win the competition and attempted to hit on her, unfortunately, his little personality did not attract her very much.

Nowadays, they're friends. Dinho always visits her, bringing many gifts — From flowers to anything related to culinary.

He still has a big crush on her and is always around trying to help (even though he doesn't really help that much... At least he tries!)

Grace doesn't mind, actually, she enjoys his company a lot, despite she's not being that good at showing her feelings.

JOLT

1) Jolt makes money through doing typical Scav or Merc deeds, and of course raiding small unprotected settlements, but usually for other raiders. (He doesnt usually do jobs for non-raiders, he will howver, buy from them). Given his position, making sure everyone is fed, chemed out of their minds, and has something to drink, Money is important.

7. Ironically, Jolt expresses anger happily. He's usually moody and sarcastic, but if you piss him off the last thing you'll see is probably going to be him laughing. If he stews, however, he's often quiet and secluded. Always planning something.

17. Other than his own religious practices, Jolt isn't very superstitious. (did i spell that right?) As for habbits/ tendencies, he often clicks his tounge when he talks. (its an effect of his tounge being peirced. he likes the way it feels when it hits the roof of his mouth) (also drugs, but they all do drugs. his prefrence is psycho, but also a lot of weed, jet, and day tripper.)

34. Having grown up traveling in the wastes, and only spending a small amount of time in settlements for trading, He's actaully very off putting in settlements/cities. He tends to keep his head down and often answers curtly. He thinks he's being polite, but it often ends up bothering or scaring others.

In the wilderness however, he's a skilled hunter, and while he isnt getting any kind of award for cooking, he knows how to preseve, cook, and purify food and water down to the 't'. He likes to catolouge new flora and fauna. If he doesnt know, he'll learn or ask.

ironically however, he feels tense when traveling alone. he would prefer to quitely hide in the crowd of large packed settlements.\

38. Jolt is very stiff when interacting with others, folds his arms, jaw cocked if you're getting on his nerves. But other than that interacting with him can be like talking to a cardboard cut out.

39. If you asked him he'd say no. However, he's likely to grab you as means of getting your attention. ruffle of the hair or a pat on the back as a compliment/job well. done. He absolutley does that dad thing where he'll grip your shoulder and shake you a little if you're being stupid. Big hugger.

He also would deny the fact that he loves when people play with his hair. He likes being hugged, having his hand held; and he's completely oblivious to it.

BUX

(I feel like now is a good time to mention that it's pronounced like "buck". he's just dyslexic.)

1. Bux does not really care about money. It's a means to an end, but there are many solutions to most problems. He's very sticky handed, and slick as well. He's more likely to rob you than work with you. If he has any desire to make money he's going to either aquire it via stealing or by literally making it.

7. Bux bottles things up. You could push all his buttons and you wouldn't know you're making him angry at all. He'll look like the hits are just rolling over him but once he's had enough, he's very explosive.

34. He's not the best in the wild. He's a decent hunter, and is good with animals, but not so much the surviving part. He also burns everything cooks, so it's miserable for him to try.

He enjoys being outside, avoiding the cramped quarters of cities and the stuffy nature of smaller settlements but he doesn't fair well without them.

He's incredibly adapt at manuvering in cities. The larger the crowd the better. His dopey, cocked smile often lures people to think he's stupid and easy. But they'd be wrong. Bux has a good handle on manuvering around cities, physcially as well. Climbing and sneaking around.

17. Any thing and everything. nail picking, biting, skin picking, chewing on something. He always has to be doing something. (the jet will make you jittery i guess...) foot tapping, tabel shaking the leg, always. He's not religious, or superstitious. (Im also dsylexic). A bad habit of his that is actually benefitial to him, mimicking. He'll both knowingly and unknowingly mimick the sound of a person's voice, their cadence, any tics or habits of theirs, their stance, when talking to them.

38. Bux looks like he's trying to flag down a fleet of airplanes when he's talking. He's bouncy and jumpy, when he's a good mood. When he's upset, he's very slouchy.

He should learn ASL.

39. Bux is very touchy, often grabbing an arm or shoulder, hugging people, ect. He's not intentional about it, but he's really bad about not respecting other people's boundaries.

However, if he doesn't know or trust you, and you try to touch him, he's likely to flinch away. Unexpectedly touching him is a no-no.

KERES

1. You could hand Keres a bag full of caps and they would probably set it down somewhere and loose it. (both due to being blind and also due to not caring.) Keres is more similar to a wild animal then a person in the sense that they tend to occupy an empty space whether its current or previous occupents mind, take what they need, and is just generally not bothered with the concept of money or things.

7. Keres is rarely angry. It takes ALOT to actually anger them. You could probably spit in thier face and they'd just wipe it away and not say anything. Very turn the other cheek. what usually sets them off is the unjustified hurting of others/ people they care about. They'd rather watch you kill someone then mistreat them. They're quick to move, and often will do anything to make it clear, "This will never happen again. EVER." If the perp is too far gone, to much, they will suffer. Like agonizing, wish you were never born, re thinking your entire life, every choice you ever made, pleading suffering.

17. Keres has a habit of not emoting. are they plotting? happy? annoyed? you'll never know. Also dispite being very aware of their surroundings, they are still blind. Bumping into things, or tripping.

They are extremely religious. and very spiritual. This often affects their habits and they way they treat others.

34. Keres has difficultly with both, cities are to loud and crowded to navigate, and hunting and foraging is always a risk.

they prefer to live on the outskirts of cities or within smaller settlements, living with a smaller group or trusted people.

38. If Jolt is a cardboard cut-out Keres is a straight up bolder. Hands to the side, expression unmoving, likely unblinking as well. Keres is very static. Any movement they make is pre-calucated and intentional.

39. Typically, Keres has no prefrence on being touched. They are also not a super touchy person. small light touches to anounce their presence or have someone lead them through a crowd.

When in comfortable company they may be more touchy with the ones closest to them. They arent a big hugger, though, the most you'll get from them is probably an intentionally awkward side hug.

RIKKI

1. Rikki is similar to Keres and Bux, where money isnt the most important thing to her. She does, however, similar to Jolt, at least like to have some amount of money in case of back up. Back up being, someone's selling something and she's not skilled enough to swipe it, Bux and Keres arent around to do it for her, and Jolt is either unwilling to scare the vendor into giving it to her or encouraging her to try it on her own.

As for making money, she follows suit with Jolt, doing odd jobs, hits etc.

7. Rikki handles anger in a more internal way. Usually she rolls with the punches in the moment, bottleing it up and taking it out on herself later. secluding her self and dealing with it via drinking or other methods of trying to forget.

If the others are around and know she's dealing with it she will reject their help ( they will usually help her anyways.) She often is very depentant on Bux and Keres for her emotional issues.

17. Rikki giggles a lot. Like nervous laughter, etc. She's fidgety like Bux, but no where near as jumpy. She does have a bad habit of wandering off and getting lost.

34. Rikki would probably end up eating poisionus mushrooms or something even if they were labeled. She's got no vision issues or anything she's just really oblivious.

She is also not great in cities, to many people, to much touching. She prefers to hang back at the outskirts of all the action, usually up high, or somewhere with a veiw, somewhere that will help her get a good idea of what all is actually going on.

38. Rikki is very physcially expressive, she talks with not just her hands, but her whole body. It's very clear what she's feeling based on her body language and facial expression.

Because of this, she's not a great liar. Even if she's confidiant about the lie, if you're familair with normal gives she's not the hardest to tell if she's lying.

39. Rikki needs to be told ahead of time if you're going to touch her. Clear consent. Otherwise she's likely to panic.

If consent has been given, or if she's asked for it, she's the most touchy person on the planet. All over, clinging to an arm, hand holding, hugging etc.

She is a big hugger, like total body tackle hugs.

Hi!! Im a huge fan of your work, i just got the second edition and its really lit a fire under my butt to learn more behind the symbology of the original rider-waite in order to compare with other decks (especially yours!). I have two questions if youre willing to answer, but its okay if not:

First: What is your biggest inspiration for your art? The way you blend bright colours and swirling imagry is such a huge inspiration for me, im always searching for artist of the like- but the way you merge it with spirituality is especially motivating for my own work. What makes you do what you do?

Second: for an aspiring rainbow wizard who always wants to learn more, is there any directions you'd be willing to point me and others to? Any people, places or sources that you woukd find benefitial for others looking for a colourful path?

Oh wow, I missed this message. Thank you so much! That's incredibly kind of you and I'm extremely flattered and honored. I'm glad you like the deck! I'll try to answer as best I can.

First Q: My inspiration weirdly goes way back to this tiny article I remember seeing in grade school about some young painter who said in the interview "I just love colors!" And as a kid who drew a lot (mostly superheroes) I thought "I want to be the type of person who loves colors." And since then, I've tried to use crazy amounts of colors in my art. That said, my paintings started out kind of monochromatic, but I realized over time that I could push the limits of how much color could fit in one painting, so now I just use as much as humanly possible haha. My other inspiration has always been a sort of mysticism or supernatural sense about the world. I have a lot of existential cosmic awe (or some might call it cosmic dread) about the universe, so I like to imagine these infinitely complex systems that operate the cosmos and interpret that into art in some way. Like "this painting represents the creation of life" or "this imagines some arcane mystical tablet of gods never discovered," or something like that. So it's a mixture of real representations of nature and some fiction. But it's all just sort of vague concepts in my head hahaha. I don't expect people to "get" that from my art just by looking at it. The tarot cards are more inspired by the Rider-Waite imagery as you probably guessed. I tried to mix the most important symbols from the RW decks into my psychedelic style. Like the High Priestess has pomegranates and the black and white columns from the original RW card, as an example.

(If you don't know what WAP is. It's a suggestive dance with a lot of twerking and grinding.)

Bang Chan

° Chan always called you cute, you would try your hardest to be hot... But he'd still see you as an adorable lil bean. You became worried that he didn't see you in a sexual way at all, and decided to see if you could possibly get him flustered by doing such a dirty dance.

° You wore the sexiest outfit in your closet, leaving barely anything to the imagination. You walked into Chan's studio with a large trench coat hiding the treat you had in store for your boyfriend. Noticing Chan was alone, you decided to let the coat drop to your feet.

° Blush crept onto his cheeks, bottom lip bittne by his teeth. It was making a mark on him, until you started the music. That song was too much of a meme to be sexy to him, especially since Felix tried to attempt it in front of him once and gave up half way.

° Even if you looked extremely sexy while pounding into the ground, he couldn't help but giggle by the choice of song. If it were something more sensual and romantic, than he would be on the ground with you. But WAP turned him off quite a bit.

"Chan! I wanted to be sexy... Am I not hot?"

"Of course you are hot, it's just the song."

Lee Know

° Minho is a tease who loves you very much, but is not a fan of that trend. He can't help but cringe when he sees someone do it in public for everyone to see, he doesn't know why but it just effects him a lot in all of the wrong ways. But you didn't know this.

° While he alone in the dance practice room, you walked in with WAP blaring from your phone. You then put it on the bench and began to dance along with it perfectly, the phone was recording everything. Including Minho's uncomfortable expression.

° He was impressed by your hips, but the whole song and trend gave him terrible flashbacks to the tiktok he witnessed before. Even if he wanted to smile, it came off very fake or turned into some mixture of cringe and fake happiness.

° Minho did not want to hurt your feelings, but he truly couldn't help it when you did the WAP dance. You thought he was teasing you and trying to annoy you, and you continue to think that til this day. But he was truly not impressed by that trend that you did.

"I know you secretly loved it, don't deny it."

"Oh trust me, I won't deny anything."

Changbin

° You were trying so hard to learn this dance, you wanted to do it for yourself and to also impress your boyfriend. Even when you failed miserabley, Changbin still sent hearts of encouragement and asked if you could give him another show of it.

° He would be lying if he denied that he didn't get a tiny bit turned on when you pounded into the ground, but he didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable so he didn't tell you unless you noticed or asked him about it. Which you did a couple of times.

° Wonders how your body can move so smoothly while doing such harsh and sexual moves, especially when it comes to the twerking. You challenged Changbin to twerk with you, and you weren't surprised when he was actually pretty good at it.

° Will record the challenge, helping you edit it and re recording it if you don't like the final product. Changbin is supportive of your interests and even if he isn't overly into WAP, he finds anything you do breathtaking. And think your better than Cardi B herself.

"I swear you are better than Cardi B babe."

"Stop buttering me up lover boy."

Hyunjin

° Truly conflicted. He is impressed by your dance skills, but also doesn't want your followers to see you dancing so proactively. He wants to be the only one to see you acting this way, but he also finds it a bit amusing on how serious you seem.

° Your dancing to a song called 'Wet Ass Pussy' and yet your face seems like your doing an interview at the job of your dreams. This will calm his nerves a tiny bit, knowing you aren't doing this to get attention. But rather because you're bored and wanted to.

° Will sometimes hum along to the song while it's playing, getting shy if he reads out the dirty lyrics about sex. Even though it has become more of a meme than a sensual getting it on song, it still makes him flustered because of how raunchy it is.

° Claps when you've finally succeeded the dance, smiling proudly since he saw how hard you worked for a non benefitial trend. Once you posted the challenge, he would like and save it immediately. Secretly watching it while he goes on tour.

"Does it hurt when you hump the ground?"

"You get used to it after a while."

Han

° Knew that you were going to want to do it, you like to try out different trends to see if you like them or not. He just wasn't expecting to see you do WAP so closely, he thought he'd scroll through tik tok and then you'd be twerking on his feed.

° He was scrolling through Instagram when you got up and began to do the dance, he was trying to comprehend what was going on since you did so out of the blue. Became your personal cheerleader when you went into the splits, hyping you up quite a bit.

° Won't see it as a sensual dance, is more impressed than turned on. He'll high five you afterwards, and then 'high fives' your toosh for doing most of the work. You will become flustered with his compliments, giggling as he drums your bottom teasingly.

° Goes through your social media accounts later, to make sure there aren't any pervs commenting degrading things. If he sees any he'll report them, knowing he is the only one to say things such as 'that's some fine peice of ass' to you.

"Baby, are you scrolling my comments?"

° Tik tok master, already knows all of the moves and probably taught you them. Felix likes to boost your confidence up and become your own personal happiness, even if you thought you looked cringey and horrid in the video, he'd tell you the opposite.

° Won't force you to do it in front of people or even post the video, even though you look amazing he still doesn't mind if keeping it private. Is a protective sunshine who would feel a bit of relief if you didn't post it, but would never ever admit that to you.

° When you were your best friend was visiting, you both decided to attempt the popular trend. She stopped half way through do to laughter, while you kept going. Felix rushed to you from the kitchen, beginning to throw money on you to enhance the laughter.

° If you get embarrassed when dialing one of the many attempts, he'll comfort you and shower you with kisses til you feel better. Over all he is a sweetheart who cherishes your happiness, and he'll do anything to hear your beautiful laugh and see your smile.

Seungmin

° Knew you were on tik tok, and witnessed you attempt a couple of trends, mosy dance challenges. But never expected you to do WAP, you both were generally introverted and were much more soft with each other in public rather than all over each other.

° Even in photos of you two together, the most anyone will see is hand holding. That's why many people were surprised to see you doing such a bold and raunchy dance for many people to see, the reason behind it was a dare from your close friend.

° A staff member showed him the video, giggling as they couldn't beleive what you did. Seungmin smiled, seeing you so confident and bold made him feel proud. He wasn't upset or jealous in the slightest, he was extactic to see you be so confident.

° When he arrived home, you asked him about his opinion on the video. He could tell you didn't like it and were self conscious about it. So instead o replying at first, he embraced you in a gentle hug. Rubbing your shoulder blades as he complimented you.

"You looked stunning in the video."

"A-are you sure? Don't lie to me Seungmin."

Jeongin

° Stray kids knew you for as long as they knew Jeongin, you were his best friend turned lover and they saw you as family. That is why it made it 10x more awkward for both you and Jeongin when Felix noticed your newest post on tik tok.

° You thought you saved it privately, and did NOT want it to be public due to having such an open account with many followers. Your family even followed your account, so this made you nearly pass out knowing many people have already seen this video.

° You immediately deleted the video, even though it was far too late. Jeongin was a bit shy from witnessing you do such a raunchy dance, but he wanted to comfort you nonetheless. His ears were bright pink as you clung onto him, trying to calm down.

° A couple days after the incident, Minho and Han would tease you lightly. Jeongin occasionally joined in, unless he noticed you became very flustered and would then put a stop to the teasing. He still found it adorable how embarrassed you were of the video.

"What if my mom saw this!?"

Discussing the good and bad of Pokémon Journeys: Part “Chloe”

Time to discuss about the character that is still keeping me on board with watching Pokémon (2019)/Journeys despite having, cough, some issues with it. Let's talk about Chloe, also known as Koharu.

TLDR; I like how Koharu is handled so far, even if I somewhat wish there was more of her, and I believe I know what the intention with her is, and that is to show that the journey to finding your dream goal can be an exciting one and with possible obstacles on the way towards it. More under the cut, Journeys abverted as JN.

So. Let's start with how I became to like her character the moment JN002 aired, but also how her debut in JN001 has become interesting part of how Koharu used to love Pokémon, but then grew out of it. Which to me, reminds of people who grew with playing Pokémon games, cards, etc, but then as they got older, they grew out of it.

Anyway, as we all probably remember, both Gou and Koharu attended the Okido Camp as kids, where BOTH of the eventually meet Mew. From the very beginning, we're let known that Koharu is a daughter of a promising Professor Sakuragi, who's acquainted with Okido.

And we're also let known that the two are friends from before the camp, and I assume their games at Sakuragi's Lab involved playing as Pokémon or other stuff. She most definitely loved Pokémon and her dad's work back then.

But then when we fastforward to the present day as Satoshi, Gou and Koharu are all 10 years old, we see that this attitude has changed in Koharu. She's no longer interested in Pokémon that much, and the only Pokémon she accepts near her is their family 'mon Wanpachi. For me, this was very interesting approach, even if the "not interested in Pokémon" was done before with May/Haruka back in Advanced Generation series.

Even with this interesting approach, she was a side/supporting cast instead of main cast, which honestly felt weird to me as she definitely had a story to tell. But as I've been watching other shows lately, I kinda came to realise her approach reminds me of mid-season additions to cast, even thou her appearances nowdays are just a BIT more frequent, when before her joining the Research Fellows, she appear very seldomly.

Anyway. In JN011 we finally learn that, she pretty much has issues with people's expectations and how everyone assumes her to be very much involved with Pokémon just because of her dad's work. Truly, this would end up affecting her affection towards Pokémon, thou it's possibly not the whole reason for losing interest. She even admits here she's not sure of what she truly wants to do yet.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of goal finding journeys, as they are very relatable to me as someone who took 20+ years to find out what I truly want to do for living, so Koharu wanting to find something instead of other people deciding it for her is very good lesson.

So what exactly is the approach with Koharu from this ep forward? Showing her see Pokémon in different, totally new lights, figuratively speaking. She's shown to take care of a Pidove who broke its wing in a runaway flight, helped her lil brother Sota's friend, Nami, attend to a small children's Contest, and went to a Fossil Exhibition with Satoshi and Gou to learn about fossils. And I feel like that, this fossil exhibition event is what truly rekindled Koharu's interest in Pokémon again. As we all remember, she truly enjoyed that trip, and she, for the first time, got to see Gou bond with a Pokémon, that was rampaging just moments ago. And this episode, accompanied with JN050, are why I am currently thinking Koharu's end goal will end up being related to fossils. It certainy would be an interesting approach for a female cast character, and I wouldn't mind her having a chat with some other character who's also involved in researching fossils... (cough Gary/Shigeru cough)

Anyway. All of this seemingly lead up to Koharu finally meeting her very apparent soul mate: Eevee. I know, that most people were somewhat (or even totally) annoyed by the fact that yet another pokegirl receives Eevee as their Pokémon, and that this is just boring. While I understand the sentiment, considering Koharu's character: Eevee is the only Pokémon that actually fits her. Koharu is out there still figuring out what she wants to be. What she wants to do. And Eevee is the most relatable Pokémon for that kind of character: Eevee can become eight, and I repeat, eight, different evolutions. That's pretty much the same as having different paths to choose from when deciding your goal. And this specific Eevee has also not yet decided what it wants to do. It refuses to evolve. While in-game one could say this is because of the g-max factor, I highly believe this is purely done for the purpose of making Koharu and Eevee relate on a very, very personal level. So instead of Eevee having the g-max factor disabling the evolution (because let's face it, it's only done so people won't accidentally evolve their Gigantamax Eevee), Eevee is kind of, constantly pressing the B button to prevent it.

Now: what has Eevee exactly given to Koharu's character? A lot actually. When before Koharu would try to deny interest in something or try to say she has something else to do instead of a trip, Eevee is there to push her forward to try things out.

Like in JN050, Koharu is trying to priotize her School instead of a Fossil trip to Galar, but thanks to Eevee, who wants to go, Koharu gets the needed push to go and try out new stuff. I very much adored this scene in this episode, due to encouraging the "try out new things" approach in life. From this point forward, we then see Koharu join in on other trips like the Diglett Farm (where she definitely shined in team leading and got to experience the farming and team leader approach) and the Glimwood Tangle trip, that Koharu herself prompted to her dad and the boys, instead of being asked to join. Which reminds me of something else btw.

While Gou is shown to be very knowledged with Pokémon, Koharu is shown to know more about other fields like how plants grows, and what kind of soil is good. This is from either school lessons or from her experience with taking care of the school flowers. She could possibly be considered a good student, and btw, I very much like the approach of not making her a school dropout once she started joining in on research trips, and instead takes homework to accomodate the fact that she's missing out on lessons. This isn't unusual in real life, so I'm glad JN is actually showcasing this approach with both Koharu and Gou. Thou with Gou, he's pretty much always absent, haha.

Now, her latest episode with Kikuna was an interesting one. While Koharu's main point in the episode was kind of to be the angel of love for Kikuna (which failed horribly, love you Kikuna <333 ), I'd say there was another reason for her being in that episode with Kikuna: it was to let her learn of the possibility of meeting possible pitfalls in one's dream goals. That lesson was in Kikuna's story about how she almost gave up in becoming a researcher due to a mess up with an important presentation for a conference, but found the strenght to try again. It's part of reaching your dream goal a lot of the time. Even Koharu's mom, Yoshino/Talia, gave her the story of how she originally wanted to be a mangaka, but gave up on the dream and instead approached something similar. These are all very important life lessons in how working toward one's goal can either fail, or come accoss obstacles. It depends on the person whether they'll end up switching the goal to something else, or strive to go forward to get past the obstacle. As someone who had exactly Koharu's mom's experience longside having to take a long while to find one, I appreciate that Koharu's journey has been about learning the good and bad experiences of working towards a dream goal.

Now: has this storyline been executed well? Imo, it has, but it ain't perfect, as there are some parts where I'd like to see some improvement on.

One of them is with how it's sometimes unclear as what kind of character she is counted as. Is the a main character alongside Gou and Satoshi now? Is the still supporting cast? Is she a lower tier main character that won't appear every episode still? The latest option would appear to be the case, but it's not often that simple to see.

There's also the case of Wanpachi seeming like it was teased to be eventually becoming Koharu's first partner, but instead it ended up being Eevee. I think for most, before JN049 aired, people assumed Wanpachi didn't belong to anyone exactly and thus was free reign. But, as JN049 confirmed, Wanpachi belonged to Sakuragi himself. Which is sorta funny, as Wanpachi clearly loves him the least, haha. So, what exactly do they intend with Wanpachi? I think, that in time it'll eventually switch owners to Koharu, as it clearly loves her the most, but the journey there is still on-going.

Now, here's something interest to think about: I think Koharu not being in every episode has actually been benefitial for her, as she never gives me the feeling that she's taking anyone's time for herself, and her involvements in stories fit quite well. My current favourites for her are definitely her team leading in Diglett episode, which is JN052, and the Galarian Ponyta episode (JN055) where she clearly showcased that she's able to handle herself in sticky situations. Which is quite a beautiful detail, at least to me.

Now to quiiickly note her dynamics quickly, let's talk a bit about how she is a big sister. Like, for real. She's got a baby brother in Sota/Parker, and the two do seem to have good relationship going on. However, I really want to see more of this! There's way too little of it going on right now, and it's mostly been typical siblinghood. I'm so glad there's still full on family aspects in JN, which is what I loved in Sun & Moon so so so much, but I want to see more. MORE! MORE-

I already talked about how I enjoy her dynamics with Gou and how their childhood friendship is showcased so well, and yet I still grave to see more. The two know each other well, and Gou always, ALWAYS respects Koharu, while Koharu ain't afraid to tell what's on her mind to Gou. Thou, she also knows that Gou would judge her if she were to ask about Pokémon bonding tips. Dyamn.

Now: I want more of Koharu and Satoshi. The two def seemed to have a bit of a "uugh who are you don't talk to me" approach, but it naturally faded as they went on their first trip to Nibi City's Fossil Exhibition. And they've been in good relations since I'd say.

Also to quickly note, I love how Koharu has been mentioned in couple scenes as being the character who's taught them first-aid or told about jealousy and how one should take Pokémon's feeling into consideration (even if this latter one should be obvious to Satoshi but, I digress, Satoshi was way too focused on Riolu and just assumed Pikachu would be fine since they've been buds since forever).

There's also so much more I still want to learn about: how exactly did she meet Gou and why she decided to be friends with him, does she have other friends besides him (because I would assume so but she's never shown with anyone else), give us an episode that's focused on Koharu & Sota, let her see Satoshi battle as well (afaik, she has NOT), let her meet Alola Squad + other past companions, and oooh there's so much I want her to do and I see so, so much potential in her character and I really really REALLY hope the writers don't screw her up.

Now is that all I wanted to talk about regarding Koharu... I guess so. As you might have figured out by now: I almost have no issues with how Koharu is written. She's enjoyable to watch and, suprisingly, I find the pace of her story-telling pleasant and not too fast nor way too slow. Could it do well with a bit faster pace? Possibly, but due to me seeing her as sort of a mid-season addition akin to how Precure or Digimon do them, I'm fine with this approach. Considering the current pace, I think she'll end up finding what she wants to end up working towards to by the end of this year, or early next year. And, despite how many might fear, I highly doubt it will be Contests. As it's pretty clear JN isn't out there to promote mainline games feature-to-feature, but instead cherry picks stuff it wants to do. I'm still quite certain, that she'll end up becoming a professor of her own fields, possibly of fossils (which, considering DP's Underground feature, could fit very well in promoting this feature of the remakes). Maybe even become a team leader of a fossil researching team, as she definitely showcases the skills for it, for knowing soil, fossil digging and again, team leading. And I totally didn't figure this out while writing this post. :'D (I totally did.)

So. I believe I'll end this post here, as this is already quite long by now and, honestly, there's not much left to talk about. It really feels good for me to talk so positively about a character in JN, as it's no secret that I ain't the biggest fan of the show. However, Koharu's approach speaks to me personally, very well, and I so, so look forward to seeing how her journey ends up going, and where it will lead her.

1, 2, 3, 4, and Jaaaam~!

As time of writing, I’ve faced off and beaten 1010 on Normal. Wooo~!

So, more 1010 stuffz!

Either through updates or I've merely been watching play throughs with turned down graphics; Having now played the section, the 1010 battle and cutscene sprites now have their eyes the proper matching color. However, at this point, I ain't gonna discount or discourage the "White Eyes Synch" HC.

Turns out, according to Kliff’s brief, Neon J had been a Captain of the Cruiser. Now I don’t know about the time frames of the Royal Malaysian Navy, but for US Navy, it takes a collective of 21-23 years (at an estimate) to get to rank of Captain [No idea if this means starting at the rank of Seaman Recruit or starting as an O1; either way this dude was a full eagle]. Means, Neon J was in the military for a loooong time.

So, when you destroy a member of 1010, they leave remains behind that can be transformed to face off against other members of 1010 or as something benefitial for the PCs. Fanfic Writers, do with this as you may.

So only White (Rin) and Red (Zimelu) have parry attacks. Meaning they're the guys our PCs are more likely to go after first (The designated Leader; and the persumed more combative or warlike 1010 member / Bad Boy).

Barraca Mansion also has those five colored portraits.

The section of Metro Division leading up to the Boss Fight is just covered in dance-dance games.

According to the NSR-Post, type 4 Battledroids are still in service, and do in fact have background memories to hold in combat. In a previous post, I've already speculated that 1010 may have Neon J's memories...

Consider what it took to actually get to the boss fight. That's not just one limo, that's an entire floating fuckin escort with god damn canons. And not all of them were cars, half of em were akin to the Battleship Limo. Basically, Neon J didn't just command one ship, he had an entire fuckin Fleet.

Part of Neon J’s voicelines do call 1010 “robots”.

I know the section was mean to play for laughs, as a break from the character driven plot, but really reeeeally look at this level: - When you defeat a body of 1010, you can transform the remains to go against the other members. - You are actively being photographed / recorded fighting and doing all this damage to 1010. - The fact that Neon J acknowledge Yinu and had an entire escort, means he already knew you were coming and was actively preparing to face you - Which is probably why he had his factory out. Let's face it, 1010 are Battledroids with weapons included, and most folks don't even come to their stomachs in height. Unless a fan is wearing full Halo MJOLNIR power armor and wielding a Fallout Fatman, you don't need to break out an entire robot factory if anything happens. Plus, shields. Neon J knew that BBJ were coming, and prepared accordingly, hell, 1010 was actively waiting on you (even though none of it was enough) - Consider everything. Neon J was a captain who faced what might've been some pretty historically bloody and brutal wars, and while he did break out weapons... ... None of these weapons do ANY personal or permanent harm to you / BBJ. Not even the sawblades or the missiles. ... Hell, consider the jump over. Nearly none of the other boss security levels have flash when you fall off edges, you just sorta pop back up, but 1010's? There's a red flash that pops up when you fall off, as if something was actively teleporting you back on to the car platforms. ... Think there might be a chance that, while Neon J knew you were arriving, he might have had more sympathies for BBJ than previously considered? ... Consider 1010. A Mohawk (Red) is, after all, a very Rock based Hairstyle. And Yellow? Its a pompadour, a "Rockabilly" hairstyle. How bout Blue's Lennon Specs (The Beatles were a Rock Band)... And the biggest boy bands of the 60s were Rock Band. ... Neon J goes over the top with his loyalties to NSR, like, uber over the top. And even the game acknowledges that he's paranoid. Its almost like he's playing a Role...

Time. According to descriptions found by playing Zuke, NSR (at least) takes place after the 90s. While for Neon J, he has fought since the 60s (68; It sounds like he might’ve just gotten out of basic training, the way he talks). This leaves a 30-40 year time frame to consider. Take into consideration, however, that this world has flying battleship cars, robots, a virtual idol that isn’t holographic glass, and folks have duper supernatural powers. This could be in the 2100s or more for all we know.

A Change of Pace, HEADCANON TIME!

White is the Default Droid. Not so much in 1010, but in battledroid standards. You program in what you want the bot to be or do after the fact, and the color will indicate such. All battledroids have combative abilities, but their out of combat jobs are: - Red - Maintenance. (Believe it or not, a saw is pretty useful on a ship) - Blue - Parade (?). I mean, batons? - Green - Grenadier is kinda hard to find outside of the niche combat, but consider Fallout GOAT. Probably does a lot of background jobs, like laundry. - Yellow - Missiles. Probably a Bridge stationed bot, and does a lot of calculations. Missiles are a calculated effort to aim and launch. They're not Grenades where you pull the pin, and hope that it only goes off at the designated 5 seconds (and not sooner). - White - Default, and as we've seen with Rin, probably the kind that commands or acts as VIs (Virtual Intelligence, basically a smart interface).

1010 = Superhero fighting squad Oh please, a bunch of "young men" with color coded appearances and color coded weaponry, lead by a Captain with a Factory that actively replaces their bodies? And you're telling me they're ONLY a boy band? These dudes are fighting crimes like the god damn Power Rangers with all that equipment.

Neon J supported BBJ Consider all the above suggested. The Dude knew full feckin well that NSR wasn't the greatest of the great, and half the 1010 level proved that he was pretty much prepared for your arrival, and possible his own defeat. Let's face it, the dude was a Captain for a long damn time, and like commanded a small fleet in that time (not unlike the 1010 Level). You don't do stuff like that without some major strategy and awareness, ESPECIALLY, if you've survived entire wars and terrifying / inhuman conditions. Plus consider his over exaggerated speech. With all the evidence in mind, and all the visuals, the dude was definitely playing up his NSR schtick. There was nothing stopping him from just unleashing an entire army of invulnerable and shielded 1010 bots to root you out and stomp on you mercilessly. Believe me, this dude had the resources, the weapons, and the experience, to put out two brat indie bandmates.

He threw the fuckin fight.

... Though I'm pretty sure he didn't like the Breaking Yinu's Piano Part. At least for everyone else it was either a justified humiliation or just... unplugging stuff, not outright destroying priceless heirlooms. Notice how that's the only thing he mentions, and he's the only Megastar to take into account another Megastar (and that's excluding Tatiana).

1010 Memories The dance, the shared voice, the synchronization; oh yeah, 1010 probably had a share of Neon J's memories (though likely not all of them).

This goes hand in hand with the popular Fanon that 1010 were based on former Squadmates of Neon J's.

ITS CYAN Sorry, but we've seen the direct difference in Sayu's fight with the Glowsticks and we see Purl-Hew's bright cyan blue next to an actual neon Blue. Purl-Hew is Bright Cyan Blue, he's not Regular Blue. ... So you see, I like color theory and have a set and unbreakable idea of color patterns.

Rin's weapons I believe Rin's capabilities is Synchronization with his bandmates, and the capacity to use Shields. Remember that there is no Rin phase for the Factory, and the shields fall out of the fight immediately after Rin is perma-defeated. Plus, the quasi-Purple-Magenta color matches Rin's poster seen in both the fight and on Barraca Mansion.

Mycorrhizal; OC dump

This will likely be a long post, press J to jump!

Overall idea; In a distant future where humanity drove itself to extinction with nuclear weapons, not many organisms survived/can survive the high amount of radiation, those who did are now incredibly mutated and changed from their original ancestors. The wastelands do not offer much support for life as it’s mostly rock or places covered with radioactive dust, some live in the long forgotten human’s ruins while others live in whatever piece of land that life still grows, those patches of grass and places where forests and rivers run and grow free are called Cyolizers.

Overall insects and arthropods; Insects are, somewhat more emotionally intelligent out of the 3 dominant species and more crafty, they farm, breed livestock and build, their relationship with others often........depends a lot, altho they’re less willing to work with other species they will tolerate when time calls for it.

Overall fungi and the like; Fungi are extremely clever but incredibly dumb in a way (Do not mix wisdom with intelligence, reader!) their views are very black and white but can formulate many strategies for survival when working in a colony, however, many fungi do not tolerate each other even when territory can support all but they will work together for the sake of the colony/mycorrhizal network while still avoiding each other.

Overall trees, plants and the like; Trees fall in the middle of the spectrum, they have a mother tree and priotize their own young than the others in the forest much like in the real world but have way more mobility while still unable to move, they only speak to Mycorrhizal fungi and whichever possesses the ability to do so.

Somewhat goal; To create a story/characters with very to no little anthropomorfization and still be able to make the viewer feel sympathy for the characters, basing off actual behaviours from the real world (Insects, mostly ants do create fungi farms and breed ‘livestock for an example) more than making on the go and using a very strict language as most of the list do not feel emotions on human levels, if are there any misinfo you’d like to correct me on please LMK! I do love reading articles and the like so I’d prefer if you send me a source. ❤

There are 2 stories to this world, The Sundown society, focusing on the arthropods and insects perspectives and Mycorrhizal, that focus on the fungi perspective.

Overall insight to the fungi culture;

- Fungi, do not have names, they do not understand the concept of names at all.

- Fungi often do not recognize each other, meaning that if there are 2 fungus of the same species they will not remember who they’ve talked to before and pretty much treat each other as if they were the same person.

- Fungi have supernatural sense abilities and perspective, they are able to ‘feel’ each other from hundreds of miles.

- They are clever but dumb, meaning they learn extremely quick but don’t understand many things and also lack curiosity but can be intelligent in group due to shared information.

- They.........do not treat each other kindly.

Mycorrhizal focus on a group of 14 fungi of different species, which you can find here! (Some are still being designed)

CHAPTER 1

A Devil’s fingers fungus is accepted by the forest even not being benefitial to them, having formed an alliance with a Bleeding tooth fungus since formation, both believe that their shared wisdom is good for the colony which is why Devil’s fingers was accepted in the first place, a strange menacing unknown scent rises from the horizon causing many members of the network to flee, both Bleeding tooth and Devil’s fingers believe that remaining in the colony would be safer than running towards the wasteland and not knowing if they ever will find other Cyrolizers.

Fast forward, both meet Lion’s mane fungus that informs that they ran away from their previous Cyrolizer due to the same scent but could not recognize it, Lion’s mane is immediately shunned by the trees for being a tree-parasite species, Devil’s fingers offers that they should let them stay and get rid of the weaker trees and use what they know of the scent to find out what’s happening...the trees...accept this, but hesitant to let their members die like that.

CHAPTER 3

Many trees die due to the decay of the network since Bleeding tooth is the only Mycorrhizal fungus around, a Magic mushroom “traveller” appears and has named themself Carlos, this is new for the fungi who do not understand names, Carlos is the very few fungi who are emotionally intelligent and understand human culture, they talk about how they’ve been travelling alot and mention other Cyrolizers on the way. Bleeding tooth is relieved that they can bail out but Devil’s fingers will not budge and Lion’s mane is happy with a host, Carlos informs that they can aid their cause for a cost in which they happily pay.

They bring Ink cap who’s been following them and more or so a traveller (not by choice.), who’s violent and a fighter and later helps them with an clearwing problem alongside Lion’s mane, their insect problems only gets worse, they hear from one of them that they’re also fleeing from the same thing and this is the first Cyrolizer they found, luckily for the fungi, the merry month of augustus just starts bringing a herd of Cordyceps militaris, Carlos attempts to convince one of them to help unaware that they do not prey on clearwings, months passes with them insects problem until one of the herd is left behind, with nowhere to go they were brought to the colony and apparently their sight was enough to make the insects bail the hell out of there.

CHAPTER 4

With 6 fungi on their hands, the future looks a bit brighter, but many do not understand each other on a personal level except for Devil’s fingers and Bleeding tooth, Lion’s mane has no idea what a colony does for being a parasite and much less Cordyceps, Ink cap does not care for it either, the only willing to help is Carlos, this angers the trees for wasting resources and time on useless members, but once again! Devil’s fingers does not budge, trying to remain organized; they propose that like a normal colony each one should have a role, it took centuries to explain what a Colony was to Lion’s mane and Cordyceps but they got it, Lion’s mane job is more or like of a mortician, Cordyceps uses its cordycepin to keep the trees healthy, Ink cap patrols the entire Cyrolizer for insects and so on, Bleeding tooth is the mycorrhizal head and Devil’s fingers is often planning with Carlos what to do.

CHAPTER 5

The scent is on the rise again, Cordyceps mentions it’s familiarity - they recognize it and call it one of “them” (a parasitoid) but is unable to point out what it is and that it’s unlikely that it’s another cordyceps, they also point out that in migration their herd passed through a completely devastated Cyrolizer with the same scent and spores, Devil’s fingers ask the probability of the cause of the disaster being made by a fungus and Carlos laughs at the implication but their fears are only confirmed when Cordyceps mentions that yes, it could be somewhat a parasite on a giant host and that this phenomenon is not uncommon for their kind.

Ink cap rushes in to inform that there’s a ghost moth by itself alone, that seems desesperate and knows more about it, Devil’s fingers run to the scene alongside Bleeding tooth and Ink cap to meet Lunar, a ghost moth who lost their wing informing that some giant beast attacked and ripped it off but they managed to escape.

CHAPTER 6

Lunar and Carlos seem to kick off, they talk about human culture and how interesting names are, Devil’s fingers is confused by this, Lunar mentions how their society used to build “huts”, the idea seems alien to them at first but later they understand it’s for warmth and protection from outside elements, Lion’s mane says that they can use the carcass of the dead trees around while Ink cap mentions they dig and only build roofs on the holes to save their lives, Devil’s tooth and Ink cap are in charge of building the huts.

Lunar finds out there’s a Cordyceps on the team and is already keen on leaving, Carlos jokes about how they “wouldn’t even hurt a fly” in which Cordyceps reply with; “I don’t prey on flies anyways.”, they’re kept apart at all times.

CHAPTER 7

Ink cap and Cordyceps become “allies” (Cordyceps has no concept of allyship), often hunting arthropods and eating them together, Ink cap explains allyship to them after that they’re mostly always seem together, both find Gyromitra and they bring it back to camp, they inform that they just stumbled upon and have been travelling for days with no end looking for a place to stay, the trees are happy with their arrival as they are also a mycorrhizal fungus, Gyromitra and Bleeding tooth often split their jobs,

Douma learning of his S/O’s arranged marriage

At first, he’s quite sure you’re just kidding. Arranged marriage? Why would your parents do that? Why would they force their child into something like that? It’s one thing if it was in any way benefitial but from what he understood, you either don’t know the person you’re marrying or you don’t like them at all. So this just has to be a joke, right? Right?

Once he finds out it’s true, he will get this little tinge of jealousy. You’re his S/O so naturally he doesn’t want to see you with anyone else. Much less marrying anyone else. Though it’s not like he knows of any proper ways to communicate this so he will just become much clingier with you, to the point where it might even annoy you.

He will whine about it to you possibly even more than you will talk about it to him. Leave it up to Douma to get dramatic over absolutely anything, especially if it’s concerning you. Though this time, you can forgive him as it is actually a serious matter.

Even if you ask him not to, he will end up confronting your parents about it, sooner or later. He may not be the most ideal man they’d imagine for you but he can be pretty persuasive when he wants to be. Surely your parents aren’t made of stone and can’t resist his adorable sunshine smiles!

If, by any chance, they actually can, he will sulk about it for a short while but soon enough, he’ll be back to his happy-go-lucky attitude. If you mention it to him again, he will just tell you not to worry and pat your head and then move the talk elsewhere. Sometimes, this may give you goosebumps, especially if you’ve been dating him for a while.

Giving up? Him? Not a chance. Don’t ever lose hope because he has his ways of ensuring you won’t be forced into a loveless marriage. As you can probably guess, one of these includes simply eating your fiancé and be done with it but he can get much more creative if he actually feels like it. He usually does.

It might just happen you will find yourself standing at the altar with your fiancé by your side, slowly abandoning all hope, only to look up and notice they have rainbow-coloured eyes and an all-too-familiar smirk spread across their lips. Don’t underestimate his shapeshifting powers.

Once the crisis is succesfully avoided, chances are he will take you in to his temple so you don’t have to stay with your parents, who, as he imagines, are probably not very pleased by the outcome of things. If they promise to behave, he might even let them visit you from time to time!

It’s important to note that if he notices you started catching feelings for your fiancé, he will drop all pursuit and support you. While this will most likely harm him, especially in the long run, he’s used to give up on things for himself all the time so it won’t be that big of a deal, or so he thinks as he lets you go follow your happiness anyway.

First of all, I wanna thank you for sharing your concerns and I am sorry you felt ignored. I am also gonna preface this saying that as a Latina I do not have the same experiences you probably had and therefore I am not here at all to invalidate what you're saying.

I absolutely agree with you that it is important to keep in mind what the issue at hand is and what the focus should be. Like you said, it is important to focus on first of all supporting the black lives matter movement and all the current protests going on. Like you, I applaud all the people using their platform to bring attention to the issue,whether it is to share petitions, donation links or to spread the word about where emergency help is needed. I think we can all agree that that is benefitial in these moments. I absolutely agree and I cannot emphasize this enough, the focus of the media outlets and social media shouldn't be of which celebrity is doing what BUT about how this issue can be solved, how can we help protesters right now and more important, how can we prevent this from happening over and over again.

I also do agree that it is important to attend the protests to SUPPORT the protest and maintain the spotlight where it should be: in the message that this movement/protest is trying to convey.

Like you, I have seen some people post about being at the protests almost like as they were there following a trend and seemed more focused on showing that they were there rather than in what was going on in the March himself. I definitely have seen those types of posts and I found them distasteful.

I am gonna have to disagree a little bit with you about Cole's post though. The issue is that the rumours of Cole's arrest were already starting to spread and it was a matter of time before the media would have picked up on it. I think that Cole's intention, based on his caption, was to prevent the rumours and speculation from spreading and making headlines for longer than it should have been. Realistically, whether he posted it or not, the media would have shifted the focus of that protest on to him. I believe that by 1) confirming he was arrested 2)clarifying the circumstances of his arrest and 3) explicitly asking for the focus to be shifted back to the protests, He tried to shorten the chaos/drama that would have ensued had the news of his arrest leaked in another way. Unlike some other people I've seen at the marchs, I don't believe that Cole intended to do was side track what the focus was supposed to be, I think the media was going to and will continue to do so because at the end of the day, celebrities get them likes/views/etc.

I agree with you that it is important for us to focus and remind people what it's important right now and so I'm gonna link the Google document that has a bunch of resources compiled HERE. I am sure there are many more causes and resources out there so please feel free to send them my way so I can post them. ♦ What about your muse makes you sad?

Personally, I picture her as a nostalgic character below all those layers, shadows and illussions. She’s doesn’t trust fully on anybody. Many allies who are with her out of benefitial bonds merely, many enemies against the Black Rose and herself for any kind of move / twist in the chess she has done to maintain her plans at float… but someone close enough to really call a friend? Someone who likes her sincerely, caring for her like almost family? and even much more difficult: someone to Love her?

All those things make me sad to think, because she’s all alone in reality. She can be surrounded by all the Black Rose’s members, walk among the people of Noxus as fancy and prideful as a Queen, meetings in the Trifarix and Galas, etc… but she really is totally and utterly alone cause even collegues are a risk to betray her, and she will ultimately get done with then at the slightest sense.

She’s ever plotting out ideas and possibilities, turns and cheats, to use in her favor as situation will require it…

That can be ultimately tiring after centuries. Easy to cover up, lying is simple, but tiring and hurtful regardless on the inside.

And it doesn’t matter how ambitious one can be, how much pleasant to see plots on going depelop. Imagine only: Being Immortal by an extend, at the same time she’s reclusive of her own emotions, and become this Serpent on the Garden who makes plan after plan, moving in between the rose bushes with grace, yet… always piercing herself even if the thick / hardened skin doesn’t show.

She will always be there alone, cause she flees from the closeness. Sure, granted, she can be intimate if given the occassion if things go out with a purpose, goal or somebody else is capable of allure her mind enough. But her heart? Her heart is a completely different story, chained with heavy shackles in the pitch bottom of a sea of memories.

Fluttering away like a butterfly merely gracing the petals but nobody able to reach her. Cause you never know who wouldn’t think twice before ripping the wings out.

♦ What aspect of your muse’s personality is most important to you? What aspect of your muse’s personality do you think is most important to them? Is it the same? Why or why not?

In my case, I would say something to drags me to her and consider very important is how eloquent, playful and yet ladylike she is. There’s attraction towards the fact of how acting with certain charm can make it to tangle minds, make them trust her easier or make them lose their composure. Moving in the play like a dance to fit the pleasant melody & aesthethic in order for others to take her with more regard, I consider it the most important.

In the case of LeBlanc, she would probably choose her confidence and cleverness to come out with the right plan for the right situation, not necessarily having her acting eloquent, yet again whispering to the uncautious ears what they would like to hear. Promises to the most desperate hearts can work as well said by a Dove as said by a Snake.

Not exactly the same, but more like a piece of whole thing ♥

I didn’t watch Castle 127 but from the clips I have seen, Jae seems so smiley and lovely which is so wonderful. I am glad he is happy and comfortable with whatever he is doing and the position he is at with his life, whether it is career or personal life. Onto my real question, do you think SM “exploits” the NCTU concept effectively, in that do you think they use it to the best extent, not exploiting as in anything corrupt but you mentioned that they are the strongest “unit”, with MAW and BOSS being some of the most well known songs, or do you think they are effective with how they use it? I personally think, just cos NCT U is my fav unit(haha cos it has all members), that they could use NCT U more effectively, not just one off OSTs like what they have been doing this year, but singles and whatnot, mini albums, make it like an actual unit rather than one who only has physical sales when they are all together. I know it would be a lot of work, but a lot of profit could be gained, fans are itching for new combos, and the album doesn’t even have to be physical all the time. Just releasing comebacks where they promote on music shows will increase fans, and also allow them to experiment with music more since each unit has a certain sound already, NCT U has no limit in what they can do. And also the boys who aren’t interested in activities such as acting or musicals or what not can do something in the year rather than a once in a year comeback because each separate unit takes time, the fans complain less about them being jobless (I don’t really agree, I feel like in general the boys are busy), but from what I have seen, many smaller groups do digital releases that do well and its less time consuming. I think by promoting U more often, it really encompasses the NCT brand as one that has unlimited members rather than one that has mini groups that sometimes collab.

I've been daily monitoring JaeDo for the past 3,5 years and it's the smiliest and content Jae and Do since the summer of 2018. The success of the group and of their own projects (the casting for the new series in Jae's case) really let them relax and be confident. The break was also benefitial in part. Jaehyun said after the cancellation of Dear M he thought a lot (and talked to his father, probably), it's evident he has a new approach to the interaction with fans as well, he is much more obliging and patient (cute dances during fancalls, more bubble and IG posts). Doyoung got an outlet for his desire to sing properly (the musical scene).

I don't think U is used to the fullest, but I also think SM is figuring it out. TaeTen released a Thai song and promoted with it a bit in Thailand. WayV got several units, and all performed on Korean Shows. Different NCT members feautured in EDM sonsg. Taeil even performed. NCT2020 with its inter-unit contents and a whole show was the first big-scale project, which faced a lot of opposition at first, but ended well.

The problem with digital releases is that they don't bring money. SM released Timeless, Yestoday and Coming home. All MVs have low views. Not all new fans even know about these songs.

Kun and Chenle had a song. Woo, Chenle, Renjun and Do had a song. Who noticed, who remembers? Yes, those were covers, but the views were still very low. And in k-pop covers is a usual thing. The whole solo album of Joy consists of covers. aespa did a cover as their second official song.

Music doesn't bring money, performances and brand deals do.

NCT2020 was a success because all members were in it, bars bought the albums to support their biases.

Look at the case with Baekhyun. His solo stuff sells in millions, his projects (duets, mini-units, Super M) don't. His fans don't want others to share his fame. They want only his name to be on top, so they put their money into solo projects.

The question is, can mini-units gather concert halls to bring in money?

In short. It wasn't the time for U when the main units were still making it. Sm gave it a try with smaller projects (Christmas songs, duets), but the responce from the fans was lukewarm to say the least. The time for U will come with enlistments.

Out of curiosity, what are your favorite companions out of all of the Fallout games, and why?

Fallout

The Original Dogmeat (After looking into it, it feels like this ornery dog had a lot more personality than the available human companions, enough so that he made a comeback in FO2.)

Fallout 2

Goris (A sentient and intelligent albino deathclaw scholar that wears a robe to hide his appearence from trigger happy assholes. What's not to like? Goris is an interesting character and I hope there will be another deathclaw companion in a future game!)

K-9 the Cyberdog (Cyberdogs are cool. Talking Cyberdogs with good moral compasses? Even better! Super pissed the NCR ended up destroying him to gather Intel on the Enclave. That's something I'd expect from the BoS instead, and it's left a bitter taste in my mouth. Rest in peace you poor pup.)

Fallout 3

Butch Deloria (He was an asshole and a bully during his and the Lone Wanderer's childhood, but you can't deny he isn't loyal to a fault. He's still a bit of an asshole with an unobtainable greaser teen dream, but honestly he's not that bad considering he was neglected as a child thanks to his mother's alcoholism. If you scratch his back he'll definitly scratch yours, even if he pretends he's not a goody-two-shoes like you. Plus he can give you a haircut, who wouldn't want a personal barber out in the Wastes?)

Charon (His situation is an uncomfortable moral conundrum since he's basically a brainwashed slave by anything but name. Oxhorn put it best in his video on Charon's situation, and I agree that the only good thing you can do for him is buying his contract and doing good out in the Capital Wasteland with him as your companion, as a form of atonement for any past shady/cruel actions his former employers have had him perform.)

Fawkes (A super mutant who may or may not have been a man named Shelton Delacroix, Fawkes is unfortunate in the sense that he was alienated by his fellow vault-tec security officers for having a conscience, and then alienated by his super mutant kin for being uniquely intelligent and kind. To add to these tragedies, Shelton was apparently married so Fawkes has a wife he can't recall who is either dead or a mindless super mutant herself.)

Dogmeat the Second (A loyal heterochromatic cattle dog who would fight to the death if just to avenge his fallen master. Dogmeat is a scruffy scavenger and definitly man's best friend. You have to wonder if he might be a descendant of the Original Dogmeat with just how strong his personality comes off. Some dogs in the wasteland are definitely smarter than others.)

Fallout: New Vegas

Arcade Ganoon (A gay mess of a doctor with social anxiety and a lot of personal demons related to his origins. Arcade is an intelligent and interesting character in the sense that he has a deep-seated desire to help everyone, but knows the consequences of one's ideals outgrowing the needs of others. He's grateful to the Enclave Remnants's loyalty to him and his mother, after his father passed away, and he definitly considers them his family. That in itself is an issue because the Enclave's sins will follow and haunt him for the rest of his life, even if he was just born into that life and not one of the people commiting atrocities.)

Craig Boone (His story is the typical wasteland hardened ex-soldier. He committed atrocities that left him mentally scarred and suffering from PTSD, lost his wife who was the only good thing in his life, his need to avenge her has left him dangling between cold-blooded killer and decent human being, and on top of that he's a bit of a cynical asshole. Still a pretty cool companion to have around, and honestly it feels nice to have him around doing some good for the Mojave wasteland instead of stewing in his depression and self-hatred. His sniping skills could help a lot of people with the Courier's encouragement.)

Lily Bowen (She's a super mutant elite spy soldier. She's also a sweet old granny with schizophrenia and a murderous imaginary friend. Lily is another tragic character who's story pulls at your heartstrings, and the three choices regarding her meds are another moral conundrum. Again I'd recommend Oxhorn's video on her story, since I wholly agree with his assessment on what choice is actually the best for her.)

Rex the Cyberdog (His background before he joined the Kings is shrouded in mystery, with the Legion's faded mark painted on his armour platting. Rex is a loyal pup with a hate for rats, hats and people who wear hats. His greatest ire is probably reserved for rats with hats. His recruitment story arc is also pretty interesting and it definitely affects his personality and endings. If you have Old World Blues and construct Roxie the Cyberdog he even becomes a father of a litter of "Boston terrifiers"!)

ED-E (Honestly it's my love for robots that make this little damaged travel companion so appealing. His mission is interesting, and the cashe of Enclave Intel he holds can be benefitial, but most of his endings point to ED-E continuing his journey eventually so there's a sadness with letting this little guy go if you get attached.)

Fallout 4

Preston Garvey (All Preston has ever wanted to do was help make the Commonwealth a better place for people to live in. He's a selfless man who joined a militia at age 17 to do some good, and it honestly breaks my heart that the Minutemen collapsed as hard as it did. Preston had to watch as the ideals of the Minutemen were crushed underfoot by a bunch of selfish assholes, along with an entire settlement of innocent people. He did everything in his power to keep the only four survivors safe and alive, and he's clearly traumatized, depressed and suicidally throwing himself at danger because he'd rather die fighting the good fight than caring for his own safety. He puts everyone else above himself and it infuriates me that people are so hellbent in painting him off as a bland character or a pest. Oxhorn puts it best in his profile of Preston.)

X8-88 (The Institute's top of the line Courser, the closest the Commonwealth will ever get to the Terminator, and livable despite his cynical remarks and persistence that he's incapable of emotions or attachment. It saddens me that X6 is only obtainable if you follow the Institute. It also pains me that if you do manage to befriend him and destroy the Institute, you're destroying this loyal synth's only home. You're basically stripping away everything he knows and believes in, inherently doing what the Institute has done to the Sole Survivor: Taking their life away from them. It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth...)

Nick Valentine (Moral conundrums are painful. Ethical conundrums are just as bad. Nick didn't deserve anything that happened to him, and it's obvious he struggles with his identity and purpose but chooses to follow in the Original Nick's footsteps to do some good, rather than hide away and mope. He's a good person overall, even if he's a bit of a smartass sometimes. He's the perfect robodad for anyone in need of a fatherly figure in the Commonwealth.)

John Hancock (This man has a lot of emotional baggage and has made a LOT of bad choices, but if there's anyone you can trust to be loyal and helpful out in the wastes, it's definitly Hancock! His crude humour and liberal use of drugs and knives to deal with his problems can be a bit off-putting, but Hancock will defend you no matter what. Heck, he would even defend Danse from the BoS and the guy's a racist dickbag to him from the very moment they meet. That says a lot about his character.)

Codsworth (He waited for the Sole Survivor to return. For 200 fucking years. Please be kind to him, he's probably one of the nicest companions and also one of the most lovable too! He is the friend you'd wish you had if you ever found yourself in the same situation as the Sole Survivor. Cherish Codsworth, he's all you have left, and he'll protect you to the best of his ability.)

Dogmeat the Third (A brilliant genius dog that is very likely a synth. Dogmeat, like Codsworth, is a lovable guy and should definitely be cherished. I'd recommend getting the "Everyone's Best Friend" Mod so that you can have him travel with you and another companion. It's almost like FO2!)

Deacon (He's intelligent. He's sneaky. He's a pathological liar with good intentions. Deacon is mysterious and charming, and definitly a little fucked in the head. I'd like to meet his plastic surgeon if they can make him flawlessly look like a woman and a ghoul, no questions asked. Oxhorn has a pretty interesting video that explores Deacon's character and intentions, if you're interested!)

Paladin Danse (I'll admit I wasn't all that impressed with Danse when I got my first impression of him. He's rude, he's impatient, he's condescending, and worst of all he is an asshole to anyone just a bit different from him. Still, the plot-twist left space for this racist Buzz Lightyear knockoff to go through some personal growth. The years of militaristic indoctrination will probably take a while to be resolved, but Danse IS redeemable if given time. He's not inherently evil, just in dire need of a tolerance lesson.)
