Your art style is like.

Very rounded/you don’t have a lot of flat shapes, and also you use a lot of stripes and spots everywhere, but I think most people do so I don’t know if that counts.

Mostly the first part. Like round but not necessarily soft, though people often put them together I don’t think you usually do. Honestly most of you art looks like I’d reach out and feel leather or scales.

Sorry if this makes no sense but I saw the post about describing art styles and drawing without them and figured I’d give describing it a y ry

Here it is! Hailstorm and Pyrite for the evil style challenge. The total opposite of round and sharp! It's spiky and soft! Also since you made your piece with lineart I decided to draw mine completely lineless.

I thought that maybe doing with a soft shading would minimize the defined textures of scales on dragons? It kind of worked? Also instead of stripes and dots I gave them triangles

#This was difficult for me #Right before this I drew a character that was the definition of my style #a literal snake-wyrm that was very round and did loop de loops with their body #so I had to rewire my brain in real time to draw this #also I never played monster hunter but isn't this like close to the icons they do for the beasts? What do you think an iridescent pyrite would look like?

If I could get a dollar for each time I changed the palette I could buy dinner-

I see them as softer-looking pyrites, nothing fancy since they're literally the most common type of gem of their mineral group.

His view of Pyrite!Peter is not at all stable! There's elements of "I found a way to bring him back to me" where he's almost treating P!Peter as something like a reincarnation of origiPete, where they are one and the same in some kind of abstract way regardless of having different lives/experiences. There's elements of full-on delusion where sometimes he sees P!Peter 100% as the son he raised and happily talks about their "past" ""memories"" """together""" while P!Peter nods along terrified.

There's elements where he acknowledges that P!Peter isn't actually origiPete-- obviously he's much more awful to P!Peter in ways he wouldn't have been to the original-- but is viewing P!Peter as something like a living idol through which he can express his love for his son. There's elements of extreme grief where he feels the full weight of the fact that his son is gone and this person is just a (beloved, but not equivalent) replacement.

In general he tries to consciously stay in the "this is my actual child who has made his way back to me via the multiverse" reincarnationesque zone, but the unconscious experience is extremely varied and contradictory and sometimes all of the elements are laying over top of each other at once.

As far as the specific questions: he did not go Peter-snatching until he felt that he has fully exhausted his resources for actually bringing his Peter back ("gave up",) yes. If origiPete somehow ended back up in their lives…

His own internal impulse would be "great, two sons!" though origiPete would be, like, Son Prime and P!Peter would immediately become second fiddle, but he would handle it however origiPete wanted with no pushback-- with his for-real actual son back in his life, he would be happy to send P!Peter back home and would not particularly mourn him; all of those love and devotion and obsession feelings would be instantly transferred back to origiPete the second origiPete said he didn't want P!Peter around.

(This is, interestingly, a slight contrast to how he'd handle it if origiPete never died and another Peter somehow mysteriously appeared in their world, where he would ultimately defer to origiPeter's feelings on it like I said in that earlier ask, but would try a little harder to talk Pete around into letting him start to build his Peter harem lmao.)]]

And yes! Great catch. It is that prophecy! Pyrite is also called Fool's Gold, so while Lannisters have the real gold, reader gets the fake one and a twisted version of the prophecy to match. A curse in disguise. Any guesses as to who our Valonqar is?
