On May 22, Black and Brown organizations in Los Angeles joined forces with the Palestinian movement across the world, demanding that Israel end the siege of Gaza and Sheikh Jarrah, an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine and to all U.S. funding and arming of Israel.
“Why do we love Palestine, why do we fight for Palestine? When we are united in struggle we beat with the same heart and fight with the same fist. If we can free Palestine, we can free us all," declared Rebecka Jackson of the Socialist Unity Party Black Caucus.

Miles Agyeman-King → Alfie Enoch → Pumapard
→ Basic Information
Age: 136
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Born or Made: Born
Birthday: April 9th
Zodiac Sign: Aries
Religion: Animism
→ His Personality Miles is a hard character to place and understand. He seems to have a wide array of personalities mixed in one, which can be explained by his experience with the Hypershift. He is self-contained and doesn’t typically use strong emotions to show what he is feeling. He generally feels uncomfortable around outbursts of emotions. He doesn’t talk about his feelings, but he will act on them and show people how he feels instead of telling them. Miles prefers to keep his thought process to himself. He never brings up the past, whether it’s his or someone else’s, and never relies on people’s personal or historical experiences to tell him who they really are.
Miles is comfortable adapting to the environment and responding to the situation as it changes. He tends to blend into the background when stronger or louder personalities are in the same room. His silent strength however plays very well with the often overly expressive Cats in his pack. Hidden below the calm layer is that same zealous energy that he only allows out during schedule runs with the pack. He’s become known as an impartial calm judge in any arguments that might happen in the pack.
→ His Personal Facts
Occupation: History Teacher
Scars: Marks along his arms and sides from fighting when he was younger
Tattoos: None
Two Likes: Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and Pwason Boukannen
Two Dislikes: Superhero Movies and Pen thieves
Two Fears: Heights and Hypershift
Two Hobbies: Meditation and Journaling
Three Positive Traits: Observant, Ambitious and Forgiving
Three Negative Traits: Secretive, Elusive, Restrained
→ His Connections
Parent Names:
Roseline King (Mother): She was a fiercely protective mother and taught the boys how to fight for themselves. Her tenacity was up until the very end as Hunter blood was sprayed all around her, she got one last fight in before she died.
Emmanuel King (Father): Miles’s father was a quiet man. He and his brothers were rarely not butting heads with their father’s quiet and gentle behavior. As Miles has grown and reflected, he wonders what his father might think of him today. And if after the hypershift he became the person his father wanted him to be.
Sibling Names:
Arthur King (Triplet): He and Arthur are close, but not like they used to be. They split off after Henry was killed, only meeting up every so often. Arthur tried to settle down once, but the pack kicked him out once they heard of his hypershift. He’s been alone ever since, and has warned Miles that the same thing might happen to him.
Henry King (Triplet): Henry died almost 70 years ago. He couldn’t control his shift anymore and the New Orleans alpha had to kill him. Miles has been scarred ever since that day, and uses it as a motivation to stay in control.
Children Names:
None
Romantic Connections:
Malia Agyeman (Mate and Wife): M² have been together for 5 years but finally married at the beginning of 2019. Miles’ soft spoken nature is a stark contrast to Malia’s strong and outgoing nature, but he is always there to support her in her endeavors.
Platonic Connections:
Noel Crais (Good Friend): At first Miles was unsure about Noel mothering him or showing him genuine concern. She grew on him when she learned to speak Creole and about his culture. While Mile doesn’t appreciate her knowing looks but he does appreciate her not telling whatever it is she thinks she knows.
Kayla Silvestre (Friendly): Miles has tried to become a resource for Kayla as her dad goes into hypershift. He knows the long painful road ahead of the whole family, whether her dad pulls out of it or not, and he hopes he can ease some of that pain for her.
Esther Yoo (Close Friend): By default of Esther being Malia’s best friend, she’s somewhat become his as well. Esther serves as a good mediator when M² is fighting and is the only other person who excels at talking Malia down.
Rebecka Blake (Acquaintance): Rebecka has been trying to plan a hybrid class between history and English. He’s interested, but the planning is taking longer than he expected.
Roy Allen (Friend): Miles finds Roy a calming presence. There never seems to be an expectation from him and he is a good centering point when Miles feels overwhelmed with his secret.
Hostile Connections:
Rhett Colt (Hate): Rhett Colt was the one hunter who escaped after killing his parents. He sees taking a Colt daughter’s arm as revenge.
Churchill Darling (Annoyance): Churchill stole his face a few months after he came to town. His pack members generally can tell, but Malia has taken to punching Church when she thinks he has stolen his face and he’s been punched quite a few times by his wife on accident.
Ben Miller (Dislikes): He and Ben have had some altercations in the past, especially right when he joined. He’s found it’s better to steer clear of the liger to not trigger an unwanted change.
Pets:
None
→ History Miles and his family immigrated from Haiti to the United States during his early childhood. Miles was 3 years old. They spent some time in Florida as crop laborers/farm workers but eventually worked their way up to Georgia then to New Orleans. His father worked as a seasonal framhand and his mother worked as a maid. His family soon met up with the local pack and they settled in. Eventually people began noticing his parents didn’t age. Some accused them of being witches, or of hiring one to keep them young. The townspeople became so riled up that Buford Colt caught wind, all the way up in Jackson, Mississippi. He came down with his sons and they went hunting for witches. Instead, however, they found the cats. Roseline and Emmanuel sent their sons away to get the alpha when they heard the news of a hunter in town. When their sons returned, they had already been killed. Their alpha and the local seethe quickly killed Buford and most of his sons, except for one.
Miles and two brothers quickly became reckless without their parents warnings. They were angry and in mourning and they took to running off their pain. The triplets would go on long runs, sometimes gone for days at a time in their shift. Their alpha told them to slow down, but they had already become too aggressive to really control. It was at this point any warnings were given up, and they were told to just not kill anyone in New Orleans. A few months later Miles, Arthur, and Henry woke up in Texas, next to a man who’d been mauled to death. They buried him, and realized it had gone too far. Their alpha hadn’t mentioned anything when they’d come back, but a part of Miles wondered if he knew. The brothers immediately stopped shifting, but it wasn’t a smooth process. Miles broke down once or twice, but managed to stop shifting for a year, Arthur figured it out a few months after Miles, but Henry succumbed to the Hypershift, and was killed the following year. That almost triggered both Miles and Arthur to begin shifting again, and they had to move away from the town. It was then that Miles began journaling, to keep his temper and cat under control. It was the only way that he could process those emotions. The two remaining King brothers moved to Atlanta the following year, and then split apart. Miles spent decades travelling around in his human form, until finally he made his way to Chicago. There he finally met a pack likable enough to stay.
→ The Present Miles always thought his years spent in hypershift killed off any chance of romance or a family for him. He’d stayed out of the way of most cat shifters to avoid anything that would trigger him losing control again.  He expected he’d act the same again in Chicago, but found something that clicked. Especially when he saw Malia cornered that night. It’d been one of the few times Miles had run with the pack and he wondered how that particular bit of luck worked out. He is truly in awe of Malia, and he’s even more in awe that he gets to be her husband. Her tenacity and strength and intelligence has brought a new vibrance to Miles that he wasn’t sure he’d get again without the use of a shift. Miles and Malia are both trying to figure out how to balance everything. Malia put things on pause for them and their wedding and Miles wants to show her that he appreciated what she did and knew the sacrifice she made for them.
Miles has yet to tell anyone about his past, except for Kayla. Not even Malia. He knows what animal shifters and specifically the Chicago pack think of those who have gone into hypershift and he worries about how it would affect his relationship with all of them. Arthur warned him against it the last time he visited, reminded him why they didn’t do packs. Especially not judgemental ones. He’s been dragging this secret around for almost a century, and when he finally could at least somewhat talk about it with Kayla, he felt a little freer. He’s debating telling Malia now, hoping it doesn’t ruin everything they’ve worked so hard to maintain and grow.

MIDSOMMAR (2019)

Grant, Johan Matton, Rebecka Johnston, Levente Puczkó-Smith and Mats Blomgren.
Screenplay by Ari Aster.
Directed by Ari Aster.
Distributed by A24. 145 minutes. Rated R.
I’m reluctant to give a review of Midsommar. The people that I have warned since watching the film a week ago have fallen into two categories. Those disinterested in horror films nod, and agree, this is not the film to venture into the horror genre. They thank me for the warning and don’t think about it again.
The other category of friends, those who enjoy horror films, get a twinkle in their eyes when I mention phrases like “horrifyingly graphic” and “nightmare inducing.” They thank me for my frank analysis and ask when the film is being released, credit card in hand, ready to experience the horrific, small, Swedish village cult for themselves.
I took my kid, a 17-year-old film student, as my guest. She can legally see rated R films on her own, has watched and appreciated films like A Clockwork Orange and Pulp Fiction. As we finished Midsommar, we sat in silence, mouths agape, watching the credits move by. We were not alone. About half of the audience had the same response. The other half were outside talking about the film as we finally felt able to walk out.
She then went on to ask if there was a line that one had to cross, psychologically, to create a film like this. Worse, that a group of people, the studio, agreed to create something so horrific. It’s an interesting question that some other non-horror viewing friends have mentioned. Where do you draw the line between entertainment and insanity? For me, Midsommar teetered on the edge of this line.
Florence Pugh, one of my favorite current actresses (Outlaw King, Fighting with My Family) plays Dani, a very well-written young woman with family difficulties and anxiety. She is articulate about her feelings yet overthinks her relationship with her boyfriend of three-and-a-half years, Christian – played by Jack Reynor.
She senses the unspoken tension but is so in need of the relationship that she rationalizes his distance and poor behavior, both signs of his desire – but inability – to break up with Dani. Christian is that guy – the one who acts kind and supportive to Dani’s face, but rolls his eyes at her frequent texts. He has told his friends of his need to break up with her for nearly a year. She deserves so much better but is too committed in the relationship to see any fault in Christian.
Instead of breaking up with Dani, Christian takes the coward’s way out. He invites Dani to join him and his three friends (Mark, Josh, and Pelle) on their trip to Sweden. Pelle had invited the three friends to his rural village for their unique Midsommar festival. While he initially appears put out by the additional guest, he quickly makes Dani feel very welcome to join in on the experience.
While the early story is dominated by tragedy, it becomes rapidly apparent that the dialogue is swift, smart, and humorous. The audience also quickly catches on that they are being pulled along on an odd, unsettling, slow observational journey.
The visitors from outside of the community (including Dani, Christian, Mark, and Josh) are being led to believe that villager behaviors are culturally driven and thus able to be excused by cultural differences. Only the audience can see the big picture and know that things are terribly wrong. By the time the characters, individually, figure out what is going on, it is too late and one by one, we watch the remaining characters disappear. Question is, where do they go? And the bigger question is why?
I’ve not watched director Ari Aster’s 2018 Hereditary, but I know it got a lot of people talking. While I understand that they are different, with Hereditary said to be more frightening and traditional to the horror genre, I am not in a hurry to watch it after my Midsommar experience.
Which is a shame, because Midsommar was beautifully filmed, had smart dialogue, well-developed characters, stunning editing, and surprising special effects. But the visuals and cult-focused plot points were so unsettling that a week out from my screening, I continue to feel queasy if I focus in on the visual details. I will have to think twice before watching another Ari Aster film and I am NEVER going to Sweden.

Review : Midsommar (2019)
Tumblr media
In just two short years, Ari Aster has managed to drop two of the most intriguing, reel-me-in trailers I’ve ever seen.  Last year, the Hereditary trailer wowed me, and the film absolutely floored me (it was actually my top film of 2018).  Relatively early on in 2019, Aster released the trailer for Midsommar, and if Hereditary’s trailer wowed me, then I lack the adjectives for what the Midsommar trailer has done to me.  I’ve been anticipating this film for months, needless to say.
Dani (Florence Pugh) finds herself anxiety ridden one evening when she is unable to reach her parents or little sister after a disturbing e-mail she received from the sister.  Dani reaches out to her boyfriend Christian (Jack Reynor), who is spending an evening with his friends Josh (William Jackson Harper), Mark (Will Poulter) and Pelle (Vilhelm Blomgren), all of whom are trying to snap Christian out of his funk due to his desire to end the relationship with Dani.  Much to the dismay of Dani, she receives the news that her sister not only committed suicide, but killed her parents in the process, leaving Dani alone and shattered, and forcing Christian to stay with her for support.  A year later, Dani learns of a trip to Pelle’s native Swedish village of Hårga for a ceremony that occurs once every 90 years that the group of guys plans to attend.  Christian unwillingly invites Dani, much to Mark and Josh’s dismay, and the entire group travels to Hårga.  Upon arrival, they are immediately given a psilocybin concoction and eventually led to the village, only to find that the ceremony contains rituals they were not prepared to witness or comprehend.  Trapped, the group begins to fracture, and all the while, the village of Hårga continues their ceremonies, resulting in irreparable changes to all involved.
Ari Aster made it crystal clear with Hereditary that he isn’t afraid to approach trauma head on, but Midsommar adds in the element of dependency to examine relationship and family dynamics.  Most every relationship is initially presented as close, but revealed to be fueled by tension and distance via tools like text and phone conversations, separation via different rooms, group and one on one conversations framed through mirrors, and secrets abound.  Dani’s sister’s murder-suicide not only makes Dani an emotional island in a sea of connected groups, but it also serves as a dark seed for unwilling sacrifices that are recontextualized later in the film (in my opinion, anyway).  The visual and audio representations of Dani’s post-traumatic stress episodes perfectly represent how a deep trauma can mute out the rest of the world.
This film is laden with symbolism and visual cues, but in a much different and more up-front way than Hereditary does... artwork on the walls throughout the film present runic alphabet formations and imagery of animals and rituals that we will witness as the film progresses, as if to educate (and mentally prepare) us for these events.  Rituals, spells, the art of casting, and much more about the realms of mysticism drive this film, with most everything that the group taking part in having a reference or history based in mystic manipulation.  The ceremonies, dances, communal experience of deep feelings, feasts and sacrifices play out like a deeply cultural theater.
The opening piece of art presented as the film begins not only informs us about what we are getting into, it’s curtain-like reveal of the film gives a theatrical feeling, one that is doubled-down on when Pelle describes his culture’s ceremonies ‘like theater’.  Aster also ramps up his use of disorienting camera moves while leading us into the main portion of the film, while continuing to use God-perspectives wonderfully to make the characters symbolic pawns in the crazy games.  The visuals presented during the trips are vivid without crossing the line into ridiculous, and they perfectly present the concept of the Earth as a breathing entity.  The humor in this film is much needed, and all of it is based in very real reactions, which actually allows us to let our guard down and dive deeper into the madness.  The score is powerfully present, and at times disorienting, as it is not always clear if it is diegetic or not until a band appears.
Florence Pugh delivers a powerhouse performance full of raw pain, post-traumatic stress and willing (but sometimes, unwilling) immersion into the unknown due to a disconnection from a support system.  Jack Reynor falls right into every earmark of the minimum effort significant other, making brief grand gestures separated by waning interest in the one you supposedly love, with anything that rings the loudest taking all focus.  William Jackson Harper presents a ‘curiosity killed the cat’ scenario personified, with his single-minded interest in his studies causing minimal alienation from his friend group prior to it putting him in true danger.  Vilhelm Blomgren lays out the groundwork and lures in the group towards his commune beautifully through his performance.  Will Poulter brings much needed levity to the film, but not at the expense of the running tension that propels the film forward.  As for those in the commune, Hampus Hallberg compliments Blomgren’s performance quite well in his role as brother, helping to lure the outsiders in.  Isabelle Grill comes through in her role as temptress to Reynor without overdoing it.  Ellora Torchia and Archie Madekwe represent us as viewers perfectly, bringing true human shock into the film while the others seemingly fall under the grand spell that is cast.  Rebecka Johnston, Anna Astrom, Liv Mijones and many more round out the large cast.
Midsommar is the perfect presentation of horror by assimilation or elimination.  With two powerful films under his belt, Aster seems to be one of the frontrunners of the horror renaissance that is in motion, and I’m definitely ready for whatever he plans to present to us in the future.

Chef Ava Marie Romero: My friend and fellow food competitor wowed the world when she won a Golden Ticket in the Taste of America Challenge , and a chance to compete at the 2018 World Food Championships in the Dessert Category. What’s so special about Ava is the fact that she was the very first autistic chef to ever compete at the World Food Championships and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
I met Ava while I was living in California at the 2015 San Francisco Flower and Garden Show. She was a member of the audience during my cooking demo “Making Heirloom Jams with Garden Petals.”  After the demo, Ava stayed behind to sample some of my jelly, leading to a conversation that would begin our wonderful friendship.  She told me that we had a lot in common, stating that she was also a food blogger and food competitor. Ava told me she was a cooking instructor and worked for the South San Francisco School District nutrition services, and also taught cooking classes at the South San Francisco Library and Burlingame Recreation Center. She told me about her countless State Fair prizes and ribbons for baked and canned goods, and about her food blog Recipes From an Autistic Chef.
Drawn to Ava’s sweet smile and happy disposition, I was so impressed by her resume and insatiable desire to learn everything she could about food sport. Not to mention, I was impressed by her wish to become a TV food personality. Ava and I exchanged contact information and started a new foodie friendship that afternoon.
Despite the adversity from being on the autism spectrum, Ava has managed to overcome the daily obstacles associated with the disorder, utilizing her cooking skills to serve her family with delicious home cooked meals, and become an award-winning home cook. Most recently, Ava has landed her dream job as a certified cooking instructor for Williams and Sonoma.

An Interview with Ava:
Rebecka: Why did you decide to become a food blogger?
Ava: In 2011 I’ve just graduated from Canada college adult vocational transitional program. All my friends and classmates were finding new directions to pursue their careers as employees at non profit special needs day programs such as Community Gatepath. So I didn’t want to join in any of these programs. I kinda learned so much from life experiences as a college student and was that girl to bring food to classmates and family and it was my dream to write a food blog of where I come from and my journey to share food as a person with autism myself. I launched Recipes From an Autistic Chef at age 23 to prove I can succeed in lifelong situations and not to be the underdog like I was as a special education student.
Rebecka: What made you want to go into competitive cooking?
Ava: At age 21 a year before I graduated from Canada college was a early stages of my competitive cooking at the san mateo county fair culinary arts 2010. Won best in show and later on red, white and blue ribbons and a honorable mentions. I learn from judges critiques and use them in my culinary entries. I make sure it is well executed. In 2017 I earned a golden ticket entry for world food championship dessert category for challenge butter it was pushed to 2018 a year later. In 2018 I also competed in 7 mile house abobo cook off among the best home cooks of the bay area and placed 4th in abobo.
Rebecka: What do you like best about competitive cooking? What do you like least?
Ava: What I like most about competitive cooking is that I feel like an iron-home chef. It makes me stronger as a home cook and baker and I learn from competitive cooking. Timing is key. My least favorite this is well, the pressure, it’s ok to have pressure but I am not a feminine Gordon Ramsay, I’m my sweet self who gets the job done and plates in on time.
Rebecka: Are you self taught cook or professionally trained?
Ava: I am a self-taught cook. I didn’t go to culinary school. I learned to cook from my mom, my grandma Lou  my moms mom and auntie Laura. Also learned from neighbors and still learn from neighbors now fellow contest home chefs these days who are passionate like myself and by taking recreational cooking classes.
Rebecka: Is there a chef you admire the most? Who and why?
Ava: Ohh, of course it’s got to be Rachael Ray. She is a dog lover and she’s one of the best home cooks in America who didn’t go to culinary school and has a 12 grade education like myself. I look up to her. She said to most of her fans “Don’t give up” and I find out that was true. I use social media through food and people. It brings us together. I own all of her cookbook Collection.
Rebecka: What is your favorite cuisine to cook?
Ava: International cuisine, I learn a wide range of Cuisines from Asia to comfort food. Plus I love to bake delicious desserts. I’m making molasses applesauce donuts tomorrow from my food blogger pal Katie Morford who is the author of Rise and Shine Cookbook on Amazon and I taken some of her classes in Daily City California.
Rebecka: What are a few of your most memorable cooking experiences?
Ava: I got to meet Guy Fieri on the set of guys grocery games and he was such a sweet guy in real time. I got to try some of his spicy fried rice that he made for his mom and she wasn’t even hungry; he ended up gifting to a lucky fan. I also took my brother Billy (aka GMO) to meet Bo Jackson a former NFL and  MLB player who makes Bos Burgers. My brother and I are sports fans for the NFL and NBA so we checked it out and he got a signed shirt and it was a great experience.
Below is letter from Ava following World Food Championships 2018:
Thank you Rebecka for your encouragement to join your World Food Championship family of home cooks and professional chefs alike; they were so welcoming and I feel like its such a huge milestone in my life. If you can do that I can too. I plan to get new competitors involved like you did with me. Thank you!! Also thanks to Mike McCloud and Julie Haun for working super hard making it happen for all of us.

Love Ava.
Meet Ava’s World Food Championship Team:
Chef Ava Marie Romero, Billy Romero, Frank Romero
Chef Ava had her family’s total support for her 2018 World Food Championships debut. Ava’s mom and dad made sure Ava had the help she needed to succeed as she stepped into WFC Kitchen Arena for the fist time with her brother’s Billy and Frank Romero by her side.  Billy works in the food industry and served as Ava’s head sous chef. Frank worked on two fronts for Ava as a sous chef and her social media specialist. Their smiles in every photo tell the story of their joy helping Ava live her dream.
When I spoke to Billy and Frank for the first time in person they were amazed by the enormity of the World Food Championships. Billy and Frank were also impressed by Ava’s celebrity. When they arrived in Orange Beach, AL all of Ava’s foodie fans and facebook family were waving them down and stopping them on the streets to meet Ava and wish her well. Frank told me, “Ava’s a celebrity here, everyone knows her!” One of the greatest parts of Food Sport is the support from the family of foodie friends we share.

Ava’s WFC Recipes:
Ava won her Golden Ticket to the WFC Dessert Category in the Taste of America Challenge  for her home state of California. Like all of the competitors, Ava had to create an original Signature Dish and a required Structured Dish for the first round of the competition.
(To learn more about the requirements and official WFC rules click HERE)
Ava’s Signature Dish: Pimento Cheese Pate en Choux Flats with Red Pepper Jelly
Ava’s Structure Build: Strawberry Blood Orange Lavender Tart with required sponsor ingredient, Jelly Queens Blood Orange Lavender Marmalade.
Both of Ava’s recipes looked amazing but unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to taste them. Ava really held her own under the pressure to make two desserts in two hours.  She was the consummate head chef during the cook-off. She guided her brother’s through her recipes like a champ, and turned in both dishes on time. I was jumping up and down, screaming and crying happy tears as I watched Ava walk to the turn in table with her brothers. Way to go Ava!
Ava was one of 34 professional chefs and seasoned home-cooks that competed in the 2018 WFC Dessert Category. She placed 28th overall.  She also scored a whopping 93.5 on her required Structured Build recipe which is seriously, AMAZING for her first time competing under so much pressure. This girl can bake and cook like a pro.
It’s been such a joy to watch Ava blossom as a food blogger and competitive home cook. For me to have witnessed what she states is “a dream come true” to compete at the World Food Championships was simply priceless.
I’m so thankful that our love of food blogging and food sport brought us together, and that we are forever foodie pals.
PLEASE stop by and follow the Autistic Chef Ava Marie on Facebook. You can find more of her delicious recipes on Autism Cooks.

Los Angeles united against Trump
 By Amélie Petitdemange
On the 20th of January, Donald Trump officially becomes the 45th president of the United States. Despite the heavy rain, thousands of protesters gather in front of the City Hall of Los Angeles to express their disappointment and frustration.
"The goal is not just to destitute Trump, but to change the system that led to his presidency. Trump exists because we took too long to protest against racism, against homophobia, against sexism. We should have been there for months,” yells Rebecka Jackson, activist at the International Action Center.
The suspicion about a Russian interference in the elections also motivated the protesters. Many of them, who supported Bernie Sanders, consider Donald Trump as illegitimate. With less than 60% of turnout and his loss of the popular vote, the new elected president will have to demonstrate his effectiveness.

By Rebecka Jackson-Moeser
Let us never forget that Dr. King fought for socialist economics, guaranteed income, and an end to imperialism and war. His bold opposition to the war in Vietnam and calls for economic equality are surely what ended his life.
As we gather, know that the real threat has nothing to do with whether you march peacefully, break windows, stay on the sidewalk or storm a capitol building. It has to do with your principles and what you represent.
As Biden and Harris gear up to pass more terrorism laws that will do nothing but terrorize Black and Brown communities, and funnel more money to the police who murder us, remember this system is not made for us. Biden too is a relic of the racist institution that is the United States.

Dark was the Night early reviews:
“Your writing is downright poetic!
The first part of this paragraph is so intriguing, with how she's reflecting on her memories and this is being described physically in terms of the brain parts that are activated through this remembering
Ahhh, this is so good! Starting with just the right amount of unanswered questions. I love how introspective this is.” -Mike Debowski
“I love the dynamics between Jackson and Cat and I want to keep reading about them. They’re both very intriguing, and they are covered in just enough mystery to make me incredibly interested in them
I really love the strong verbs that you use, and I enjoy seeing more of the background of each character slowly revealed. I like that, especially with Raleigh, we can’t really take anything he says for 100% truth, and even he makes sure to mention that fact.
There is a sense of surrealism to the story, which is very effective, as the characters themselves have moments of surrealism. We see that especially in Clara.” -Rebecka F

Barfota dansare fladdrar likt osaliga andar i vinden.
I dubbel bemärkelse.
Brander tippar:
Till final: Jon Henrik Fjällgren ”Norrsken”, Dolly Style ”Habibi”
Till Andra chansen: Omar Rudberg ”Om om och om igen”, Rebecka Karlsson ”Who I am”
