Dusk Golem said a while back they were going to add a harder mercs mode like No Mercy, but that wasn't here so unless they scrapped it, I wouldn't be surprised if there's one more update and I wouldn't be shocked if it's paired with a Wesker DLC of some sort. I expected Ada to be the one to cause the tower collapse Leon sees in the village, but she wasn't, almost as if that's saved as something Wesker's doing.
yeah the tower thing caught my attention too because like
if it wasn't Wesker, then that means that Leon's fat ass broke the tower during the village fight and caused enough structural damage that the thing just sort of imploded later
which, while hilarious
I don't think follows the law of physics LMAO
I think we're going to get a Wesker DLC and an Operation Javier DLC and then Capcom's going to sell a season pass bundle. that's where I really think this is going.
it has to be, right? because according to DG's other leaks, Resident Evil is now done until the RE9 announcement at the very tail end of next year
they're going to want to have something RE in the works and in the public eye between now and then. I can't think of a time where Capcom went a full calendar year without something RE at the very least announced.

with the new Village DLC announced there’s a lot of Rose hate in the resident evil tag — for no reason. I get that people love the lords and want more content of them, but Rose is an equally compelling character and to diminish her story just because it’s not the one you want told is not it

Resident Evil 4 Game Remake Gets Gold Edition: What You Need to Know
Tumblr media
Resident Evil 4, one of the most acclaimed games in the survival horror franchise, got a stunning remake in 2023 that impressed fans and critics alike. Now, Capcom has announced a Gold Edition of the game that will include all the extra content released so far, plus some bonus items. Here are the details: - Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition will launch in digital format on February 9th, 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). A physical version will be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa later in March. - The Gold Edition will bundle together the base game, the Separate Ways DLC that features Ada Wong's espionage mission, and the Deluxe Edition items such as the Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker weapons, the classic soundtrack, and various costumes and accessories for Leon and Ashley. - The Gold Edition will replace the Deluxe Edition in digital stores, so if you want to get the latter, you have until February 9th to do so. Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition is a great opportunity for those who missed the remake or want to enjoy it with all the bells and whistles. The game offers a thrilling and immersive experience that revisits the classic story of Leon Kennedy and Ashley Graham trying to survive in a hostile village full of infected enemies. The remake also adds new gameplay features, improved graphics, and enhanced sound. If you are a fan of the series or the genre, you don't want to miss this one.   Read the full article

I absolutely loved the Resident Evil 4 Remake. I’ve literally played it 5 times and had to force myself to play another game. Lol
When they announced Separate Ways, I was elated. They did such a good job with the DLC remake as well. I loved seeing the game from Ada’s side. It helped to round out things in the main story so well.
While there are things that the original game had that were left out of the Remake, I rather enjoyed it. Both have greatness to them. I was hoping the Remake would show Leon running through the village as Ada came through the other gate like it did in the original, but either way, this was still such an awesome DLC.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Is Coming To Apple Devices In December
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/resident-evil-4-remake-is-coming-to-apple-devices-in-december/
Resident Evil 4 Remake Is Coming To Apple Devices In December
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At Apple’s keynote event last September, everyone expected them to announce the new iPhone, but nobody expected them to announce that multiple Resident Evil games would be headed to the device. Resident Evil Village hit the App Store just last week, and today, Capcom has let us know when Resident Evil 4 Remake is coming to the platform: December 20. You can see some screenshots from the Apple port below.
The game won’t be available to all iPhone owners, however. Resident Evil 4 Remake will only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, meaning you’ll have to grab the newest product in order to play this game on the go. That said, it will also be available on iPads and Macs with the M1 chip or later. If you’re a diehard Apple fan and have multiple RE4 Remake compatible products, you’ll be happy to know that the game also supports cross-progression between Apple devices, so you can start a save file on your Mac at home and pick it up on your phone when you’re on the go.
The game is available for pre-order on the App Store now, but players will be able to start the game for free before committing to a full purchase. Its recently released DLC, Separate Ways, will launch alongside it as well. While we haven’t been able to go hands-on with this version of the game quite yet, we like Resident Evil 4 Remake quite a lot: you can read our review for it right here.

Free Ghostwire Tokyo update adds new content, and Denuvo DRM
Tumblr media
The latest free update for Bethesda's supernatural action horror game Ghostwire Tokyo adds new single-player story missions, combat skills, extra photo mode options, and a new game mode. Before the publisher's Starfield release date, some players could be concerned about the Spider's Thread DLC patch's apparent addition of the contentious Denuvo DRM technology to the game. Ghostwire Tokyo Spider’s Thread is out now on Steam, the Epic Games store, and the Microsoft Xbox store alongside PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The free update also includes some quality of life improvements, including the addition of individually assignable key bindings, and updates to various achievements. Alongside the new content, it seems that the new Ghostwire Tokyo patch has introduced Denuvo anti-tamper DRM (digital rights management) to the game. Denuvo is often considered a controversial anti-piracy solution, due to instances of it having a detrimental effect on in-game performance. This news comes just a day after Capcom removes Denuvo from Resident Evil Village, following Square Enix doing the same for several of its PC releases. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhuyNRo3C0c After some testing, DSOGaming confirms that Ghostwire Tokyo now uses Denuvo following this latest update. By altering the number of CPU cores being used by the game several times, an authentication message from Denuvo appears confirming that the game can no longer be authenticated “on new devices.” It’s unusual to see such tools added so long after release, but it’s worth noting that the game recently arrived on Microsoft’s PC Game Pass subscription service, and with that alongside the Spider’s Thread update it’s likely that Bethesda expects the game to be back in the limelight once again. Developer Tango Gameworks also drew plenty of attention recently for its surprise hit Hi-Fi Rush. The addition of Denuvo with the release of the Spider’s Thread update will likely only add fuel to the fire around upcoming Bethesda games such as Starfield as it’s announced that Redfall uses Denuvo anti-cheat on PC. There’s currently no confirmation that the service will be used for Starfield, but with Bethesda implementing it in increasingly more of those games, it certainly seems like a strong possibility. Take a look at our Ghostwire Tokyo review to see what we made of the original release, and check out more of the best ghost games on PC if you love your supernatural spookies. Read the full article

Game Review: Resident Evil Village: Winters' Expansion DLC (Xbox Series X)
If you want more Resident Evil: Village content than the Winters' Expansion DLC will suffice, but be prepared to be wholly underwhelmed by the experience.
New Resident Evil: Village content has been long anticipated. Especially when the main game’s stinger scene ended implying that Rose, the now grown up daughter of Ethan and Mia Winters, might become the focal point of the story going forward. That was pretty much confirmed with the announcement and subsequent release of the Winter’s Expansion DLC. New content that includes a third-person mode,…

Nah man, early next year there’s gonna be a DLC and then probably some bullshit CGI movie at the end of the year and then the RE9 (it’s GOTTA be a Leon game) announcement. Then we’ll flood your askbox with dumb theories and yeah, I think you’ll get tired of us way before we get tired of you :)
if there was going to be a CGI movie, we'd already know about it. capcom usually announces those things a year or two in advance for reasons that i don't fully understand.
but i'm definitely in the prayer circle for more DLC, because there's still three big things they set up/introduced and then never explained:
the tower in the village exploding
luis saying he "screwed up" and needs to meet leon in the ballroom
wesker roaming around on foot in separate ways
i just don't believe that capcom's never going to show what wesker was doing that whole time. that's a BIG change for them to make, and it's a big deal precisely because it's wesker.
besides, there's no way that capcom goes a full calendar year without releasing something from their biggest franchise. SOMETHING resident evil has to happen in 2024 just for their financials.
but i crave ur theories so yes do pls send them my way, because i'm not tiring of u friends anytime soon

Resident Evil RE: Verse - An Honest Review
Upon the recent release of the long anticipated RE: Verse game, available to anyone who purchased Resident Evil Village, I have seen a lot of discourse on the quality level of this game and whether or not it was disappointing compared to many other more popular and acclaimed titles in the series.
I downloaded RE: Verse during the pre release, two days before the game was officially released. Here's what I thought:
RE: Verse provides a less serious feeling mode of gameplay, for Resident Evil fans to still play a game with their favourite characters (Think Jack Baker, the infamous patriarch of Resident Evil 7, Ex-officer Leon Kennedy who made his debut in Resident Evil 2, and Nemesis, to name a few), without the story heavy, scare heavy, style of the other RE games. (I love the style of the other RE games, but sometimes I appreciate that I want to enjoy the characters without having to think quite as hard about solving puzzles)
RE: Verse feels more silly than the other Resident Evil games, as well as feeling more silly than other deathmatch style, online shooter games (Like Valorant or Call of Duty Modern Warfare), at least in my opinion. Maybe its the way some of the characters move (Specifically Fat Molded and Hunter Y), but something about it makes me giggle, and take it less seriously than I would other games in this genre. I don't find myself wanting to level up for a specific purpose. I only find myself wanting to level up because of that serotonin boost I get from seeing numbers go up in video games. Maybe some would consider this a flaw, how it doesn't have the same feel as grinding out for hours on Valorant to get to Gold 3 or whatever, but personally I like that I am able to play a game of this style that feels more casual to me.
I enjoy the fact that it isn't teams - Don't get me wrong, working as a team in games can be a lot of fun, but I like the fact that I can play an online shooter game with people I don't know, without feeling like I'm letting a team down if i don't play particularly well one game. In games like Valorant (yes, I'm using this as a example again), I feel as though there's a lot of pressure to play well in order to not disadvantage the rest of my team, who may be trying to level up. Personally, that feeling isn't something I particularly enjoy.
We knew RE: Verse wasn't going to be in the same style as other Resident Evil games, from the moment it was announced. We had the information that this would be an online deathmatch type game. This isn't for everyone. Many avid Resident Evil fans are disappointed that it isn't the same style of gameplay as titles such as Resident Evil 8, Which RE: Verse comes with. And guess what? THATS OKAY!!! At the end of the day, everyones opinions are completely valid, but why are we complaining about the style of a game when we knew what it would be from the beginning? RE: Verse comes completely FREE with Resident Evil 8: Village, so it isn't like the people complaining, had to pay for a game they ended up hating. They were likely already fans of the RE franchise, as RE8 carries on directly from RE7, so either way, they got RE8 which they were probably incredibly happy with. Think of RE: Verse as a fun little bonus. RE: Verse might not be your style of game but that's FINE! We weren't lied to, we knew the style RE: Verse would be from the beginning. We didn't have to pay extra for it, so it wasn't some sort of scam. You don't have to love it. Chances are, many RE enthusiasts may hate this style of game, I mean, they clearly enjoy Resident Evil for a reason, likely the gameplay style and plot.
Many people said that they were upset that the development of RE: Verse would have taken time and resources away from the development of DLCs directly linked to the main games in the franchise, but to that I say: We just got the Winters' expansion, including the mercenaries game mode, 3rd person POV, like the classic Resident Evil games, and Shadows of Rose. We got this DLC at a similar time to  when RE: Verse was released. Let's be happy we are getting fed so much content to enjoy and explore.

How to get pokemon bank for free on 3ds

Fans need to pay in order to bring the monsters kept in Pokemon Bank to the next generation, which has made plenty of loyal players shell out.
How to get pokemon bank for free on 3ds free#
It may use the same free box system as its predecessor, but the most tricky thing about the service is that transferring from the 3DS games to Home isn't free. Unlike Pokemon Bank's user-friendly options to assist players in the move from Generation 5 to Generation 6, Pokemon Home has much less to offer. Around 49 of the franchise's creatures won't be available to fans, as the only way to obtain them is through these games. Without Pokemon Bank to bridge the gap, older Pokemon titles before Let's Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! will be cut off. Even as Pokemon Bank can be used at no cost after the shutdown, there's no telling on how long the service will be around. There's a chance it may remain open for as long as the Nintendo 3DS's Wi-Fi services run, but there's no concrete evidence. While the quick announcement to put fans at ease was nice, The Pokemon Company didn't clarify how long the service would continue after the eShop's closure.
How to get pokemon bank for free on 3ds download#
The Pokemon Company announced afterward that the Pokemon Cloud service would become free to use, provided fans download the application before the eShop shutters. This means when it closes, Pokemon Bank will no longer be available to download. Nintendo announced that sometime in March 2023, the Nintendo 3DS eShop will be shut down alongside the Wii U storefront. RELATED: Pokemon Legends: Arceus Player Makes Character and Team Inspired by Resident Evil Village's Heisenberg Pokemon Home currently doesn't have the features to handle transferring monsters on its own. However, Pokemon Bank is now set to close sometime in 2023, which means many players will be using it to get their favorite creatures into the current generation before that chance is gone forever. The latest way for fans to store and transfer the monsters across games has been through Pokemon Bank for the 3DS titles, and Pokemon Home as the hub for recent games including Sword and Shield and Pokemon GO. Even still, fans kept collecting and catching, and that led to the demand for a place where players could store every monster they've caught.
How to get pokemon bank for free on 3ds series#
As the series grew, so did the number of Pokemon, to the extent many fans consider having a completed Pokedex an impossible task. However, if anyone wants to transfer their Pokémon from an older game like Sun and Moon or X and Y onto their Switch, they'll need access to both services, which illustrates just how important Pokémon Bank has remained despite the more recent launch of Pokémon Home.Pokemon's slogan has always been "gotta catch 'em all," encouraging players to collect every single one of the series' curious creatures. This is due to the Move feature, which allows users to import Pokémon from Pokémon Bank into Home. Since the introduction of Pokémon Home on the Nintendo Switch, many people have now used this service for their Pokémon storage instead. Related: Will Legends: Arceus Work With Pokémon Home Pokémon Bank requires a yearly fee, so many fans who use the service were fearful this would bring an end to their well-earned Pokémon from previous years. Although users won't be able to add funds starting later this year, eShop purchases can be completed until March 2023. Many people were upset when Nintendo announced it would be ending support of its eShop on 3DS and Wii U since it meant losing access to a number of older games and DLC. Thankfully, Pokémon Bank will still be accessible for the foreseeable future but will be getting at least one major change after Nintendo ends support for the 3DS digital store. Although the service was essentially replaced with Pokémon Home on the Switch, Pokémon Bank is still required for moving 3DS-era (and older) Pokémon between games and systems. Nintendo's announcement that the 3DS eShop would be closing had many worried about what it would mean for Pokémon Bank.

fr I felt like... relief when they announced that the Rose DLC is gonna be the end of the Winters' saga lol. I actually don't have an issue with the Winters as characters, but I just don't care about continuing their story anymore. I am b e g g i n g capcom to have re9 be entirely legacy characters tbh
Soooo trueeee Ethan and his crew was like one big interruption imo lol like get going let’s move on and get back to the plot
I know capcom worked harder to tug on heartstrings with village especially and that’s why people are loving Ethan and Mia and their baby but be real… they’re not the resident evil vibe
