Sorry! For this taking so long i've been so busy in irl like it's killing me. BUT I hope you enjoy the fic.

141 Boys x older male reader

"Alright boys listen up I got someone y'all gotta meet."

Price says walking into the room where he called everyone to be in. "Everyone. Meet your newest member. C/n."

None of the members say anything just thinking in their own minds about the male. Y/n stands there awkwardly feeling everyone gawk staring at him until someone finally steps up.

"Names Gaz. Nice to meet you C/n." "Nice to meet you too." Gaz takes c/n hand and gives it a firm shake before the rest of the team follows suit.

Ghost sat away from everyone in the shadows staring and listening to the new guy not even making an effort to introduce himself. Usually Ghost wouldn't even care that much. But for C/n something was way different about him.

What really caught Simon's attention was the gruffness of his voice. It made him sound older than many people Simon met in a job like this.

He wasn't the only person to notice either. Soap had a feeling something different about the new member. Soap noticed the grey almost sliver locks in the mans hair.

The greys made him look 10x good well that what Soap thought about anyway.

Kyle was standing next to the man listening to the conversation him and soap was sharing. Gaz looked up and down at C/n checking him out. His eyes stop at the beautiful vintage watch he had on his wrist. The watch looked ancient in Gaz's opinion.

"What type of pawn shop did you get that watch from?" Kyle says catching C/n's attention.

Y/n pulled his hands out of his pockets looking at the watch. "Bought it when it first came out. I think the price was about seventeen dollars and a couple of cents." Y/n answers taking off the watch handing it to Kyle.

"Seventeen dollars!?! Sorry, but I think you got scammed!" Soap adds looking over the watch as well with Kyle.

"It's one hundred percent real. We can even get it tested if you don't believe me." Y/n adds.

"Nowadays a simple watch will cost you an arm and leg." Y/n says taking the watch back and sliding it back on his wrist.

"Things changed C/n from my time and yours time C/n." Captain says towards the older man with a slight laugh.

"Wait...Are y'all the same age?" Soap asks sitting down in his chair.

"Negative. C/n is way older than me. You can even check his file." John hands the group the file watching Ghost move his chair closer to the team.

"Y/n L/n... bla bla bla. Wait a second--- HES IN HIS SIXTY'S!" Soap shouts pointing at the old man. "He's been around since the dinosaurs." Kyle jokes handing back the file. "He's older than everyone here." Ghost adds in quietly.

"Think you can teach me some moves like how you fought the T-Rex" Soap jokes looking at the older man with millions of questions buzzing in his mind.

TIMESKIP

The whole team began to swoon and fall hard for the older man.

Y/n didn't know why he had everyone down at his feet.

For example they all founded little ways to get the older man's attention.

Soap will find loads of vintage stuff and old things for Y/n to explain for him. Like it was an old gun from Y/n's time he found. When he showed Y/n Soap listened for hours on end happily when Y/n was rambling about the gun.

Gaz would ask stories about Y/n's childhood and all that. And he will spend all night and day hearing Y/n's stories from ones that he was little all a way to the first time he fought in war.

Price would find himself asking Y/n about old wars and old Technics that soldiers would use during Y/n's war. Sometimes when Y/n was feeling it he'll show him a move or two. If Y/n's doesn't blow his back out trying to stand up.

Ghost didn't try like the others did. But he figured out a way that he will still be in Y/n's mind or attention. Simon will stand guard and protect Y/n from sudden danger. At first Y/n was a bit irradiated from having a guard dog, but soon to love Ghost's comfortable presence near his own.

Today is the day.

Team 141 was prepared for anything that was gonna happen or show in the field. The only thing the team couldn't really prepare for was about seeing in action.

They were worried for the old guy. Every single one of them. They all had bad thoughts about what was gonna happen like what happens if his "weak old bones break." Soap will constantly say that as a joke but the fear of it actually happening is in the back of his mind.

Y/n could feel the worried stares at his back as he drove. Y/n lets out a deep sigh before turning around.

"Jesus. Stop acting like this is my first time fighting. I know none of you ever saw me in action, but god stop treating me like i'm a weak old man."

Gaz opens his mouth to speak but gets cut off by Y/n adding. "If you guys are really worried just stand back and watch."

Y/n pulls the car over near the battlefield joining the other soldiers waiting for them.

The battle starts as usual nothing from ordinary until Soap gets caught off guard behind.

The Scottish man tries to fight back the two figures fighting hand to hand combat. Soap was on the verge of losing until Y/n saves his life by tackling the unknown man to the ground. Soap watches in awe as Y/n punches the man repeatedly.

Y/n gets off the man before getting his gun out and shoots the man dead. "Hey kid, try not to die without me." Y/n shoots soap a wink before heading out.

Soap mouth is wide open trying to form any type of words while his face is completely flustered. "I-I uhm thanks C/n!" Soap finally spits out earning a slight chuckle from C/n making him even more embarrassed.

After that close call Soap started to watch Y/n secretly. Seeing Y/n do all of these crazy stunts like Y/n wall jumping just to kick the enemy in the head just for shits and giggles.

Soon enough all 141 members were back with each other only missing one guy. C/n.

They all look around looking for the older man with Gaz suggesting that they should "Split up and cover more ground." Price had refused and went into a building they hadn't checked yet with the team following after him.

"C/n! You're here!?!" Price shouts getting ready to send the boys to look around the building. "In---fuck- In here captain!" Well they didn't like the sound of that and all ran to the sound of the Y/n's voice.

Everyone got their guns out aiming at the door. Ghost gives the team a quick look before kicking the door down as everyone swarms in the room. After the room is all clear they move to Y/n's at. "You alright C/n?" Gaz asks patting Y/n's shoulder. "Yeah...The fucker punched some teeth out i'll be alright." Y/n says reassuring the team. "Why were you all alone here?" Ghost asks looking around at all the lifeless bodies.

"What can I say. I like to have fun when i'm fighting." Y/n answers with a shrug.

"But aye. You all think I still look pretty even with a bloody mouth." Y/n says flirting with the younger men that's all circling around him. While everyone is blushing and flustered Y/n makes his leave. "Hey! The last one in the car has to do everyone's chores!" Y/n shouts at the group shutting the door behind him before taking off.

Soap and Gaz are quick to bolt off while Price and Ghost stay behind.

Y/n gives the two boys a little boost by stopping and waiting for them to pass. "Hey! The old man can't run for too long hes gonna pull something!" Soap says laughing out while Gaz laughs and says something under his breath.

"You two better run faster. Because i'm gonna end up in front of you at the pace you are going." Y/n says beginning to jog to the car. As soon as Soap and Gaz are in the middle where the car is parked Y/n begins to run past the two men. Soap and Gaz gasp and run faster, but sadly Y/n makes it before them.

"Aye? What was that about an old man?"

Warnings: Some spoilers for way past the U-20 Arc, also not an extensive list of characters, honestly kind of funny. I wasn't trying to be TOO serious

Has Gone To Therapy And Loves Their Therapist Gang

-Anri, There is no way she is able to have that much patience and take that much shit from corporate without having a therapist. I think she uses like 1/5th of her paycheck on books about improving your life and stuff like that LMAO. Her therapist is also a woman so it helps her to have someone who understands her frustrations with not really getting credit despite being one of the founders of Blue Lock. Also sometimes she gets worried she's unethical towards the boys so that weighs on her.

-Kenyu, Look it's still in progress ok? He was just starting before he came to Blue Lock. Once he realized he was going to lose his vision he started working with a professional and found it really helpful. In fact they were the one who encouraged him to go after Blue Lock in the first place. One of the reasons he was so quick to say sorry to Isagi is because he has those #coping skills.

-Gagumaru, After having a run in with a bear in the woods he kept having nightmares and his parents made him go to therapy. Well it was kindddd of therapy..it was a hippie who's a family friend. That doesn't mean he doesn't know grounding techniques. He even taught Naruhaya how to calm down from a panic attack once. But yeah, he doesn't really tell people that he went to therapy

-Snuffy, After his best friend's death he went to therapy ASAP. The type to only call his therapist once every 5 months and still have a rock solid relationship with them. His therapist helped him break his womanizing habit and realize that he's enough all on his own. 100% did some soul searching and stepped away from the scene. He also combined the therapist with a personal trainer to really max out his healing process. 100/10 dude for it.

"I Have Gone To Therapy And It Didn't Work" Crew

-Chigiri, Similar to Kenyu, his parents thought he might need some mental health help after the trauma of thinking he'd never be an athlete again. But he was one of those cold shoulder my mom is forcing me to do this cases. He never actually worked through what he might do if this whole thing falls through. Also snarkiness 100, his therapist almost quit because he was so insulting to them. Chigiri just felt ashamed that his parents even thought he should go in the first place and convinced his sister to also beg them to stop taking him lmao.

-Isagi, Okay at some point his parents realize he takes faliure wayyy too hard and tried to get him in therapy. When he talked to the therapist though the dude was like "Yeah, he's just competitive. Nothing wrong here." Alas, he's been masking for so long that he's incapable of revealing his issues to anyone who hasn't known him for 3 years or plays sports with him. Also, he convinced himself he doesn't need it and then idly imagines just going apeshit and killing his enemies to cope with stress...like bro...

-Noa, Why do you think he gets along with Isagi? All jokes aside, his PR people probably asked him to do it and he went and then secretly never went back. It honestly didn't work because he wasn't willing to give it a chance. And still isn't!!!! Would rather backflip off of a yacht than tell someone in a lounge chair about how growing up in intense poverty still haunts him sometimes, makes him question his worth and avoid conflict in day to day life. Sometimes he wonders if one day he'll wake up and find out it was all a dream....But nah he doesn't need therapy!

-Oliver, He was soooo close to actually getting his mental health in check but then his therapist retired. After that he got another really seasoned one and saw the amount of case files in his desk and just felt like a straight up burden. One of those "other people have it worse" and "it is what it is" guys. He's very open about his emotions and feelings so he just talks to his friends when he's really struggling. (Even though Sendou never says the right things-) Like yeah it's their job but why bug these nice people when sex?? Why talk about issues in sessions when he can get drunk or go train for 4 hours??? Riddle him that?

The "I Need Therapy And I Know It" Team

-Ness, He has so many fucking issues. Honestly, despite his devout worship of Kaiser he does realize that his behavior isn't quite healthy or normal. Dude tries to show you a funny video on his phone and all of his ads are for Betterhelp. Genuinely trying to figure out a diagnosis. Yes he has looked up all sorts of personality disorders and no he doesn't think he has any of them (He has at least two). But again, Ness is self aware enough to know that some help or someone to talk to who sees him as an actual human being would be nice.

-Niko, He cannonicaly describes himself as very very introverted and nerdy, also he hides his face. Tell me you were bullied in school or at least had an extremely traumatizing incident without telling me. Kind of never had anyone, just people who hung around because of his soccer skill or avoided him like the plague. He is that guy who will rant about "society" online for hours and fantasize about moving to a different country thinking he'd get better treatment there. Cripplingly lonely and self conscious at the end of the day, in all honesty. Also he genuinely wants a therapist but just can't afford one.

-Hiori, Obviously his parents are the ones who stop him. He tries to go and his mom realizes where he's making her drive him and swerves off. Even when he gets his license, you just know they're tracking everywhere he goes. He doesn't have enough privacy to really get better like that, Hiori has to wait until he moves out. Still genuinely fucked up by the fact that Gagumaru has gotten therapy and he hasn't. Just listens to emo music and plays video games and pretends that that fixes everything. He's totally releasing a top-selling book about his horrible childhood after Blue Lock.

-Bachira, Is he outgoing and silly? Yes. Does he need better coping skills? Also yes. Men will tell you the most horrible and traumatizing childhood memories about getting jumped and then laugh it off, and it's him, Bachira is men. He ties to brush off his trauma with humor but it never really works. He knows that he genuinely needs to talk to someone other than Isagi or his mom about the Monster and how it was by his side for so long. But also never goes through with getting professional help, just thinks about it sometimes.

The "What's Therapy? Fuck You!" Group

-Kaiser, Oh god, don't even suggest it to him. I headcannon that mental illness kind of runs in his family. He's watched family members be taken away for being too out there and openly mentally ill so he has a reason to not trust doctors. Just associates therapy and things like it with abusive institutions. If he told a therapist all of his issues, he'd probably be sent to a psyche ward. Just the threat of being sent there single handedly kept him from killing himself or talking about his feelings when he was younger. He will continue to just be slightly abusive to the people around him thank you very much.

-Ego, Bro's got the government banning him from soccer and you think he's thinking of therapy? When Anri tells him he needs it offhand, he's like, revenge is my therapy. Insane as fuck but thinks that it's a good thing. He is not willing to talk about his issues to anyone, but especially not someone who will write it all down. Genuinely ruined a few relationships in his past because the main people he attracts are the "I Can Fix Him" people and it just never works. Suprisingly unself aware for how much he analyzes others.

-Barou, His main issue is just shame and failed gifted kid syndrome. But as soon as he's back up he's convinced he doesn't need help. Barou suffers from really high highs and really low lows but he also has the mental fortitude to handle it. He is a well adjusted and kind enough person outside of the soccer field so he never considers that he needs therapy. When he feels bad about himself he hits the gym but he's never really opened up to anyone and he sure isn't going to start once he gets more famous. Especially when he's seen as one of the best right now, can't risk his reputation.

-Rin, He's would rather gut himself with a sword than admit that his mental illness doesn't make him a cool loner wolf and just a lonely person who hasn't healed his inner child. Kind of just wants someone to baby him and tell him everything's going to be alright but in the mean time his barriers are up 24/7. He disdains therapy, thinks that he'd just be seen as a pay check and he kind of isn't wrong. Rin would rather pay money for expensive cleats than spend it for someone to suggest him breathing exercises. He also had a traumacore phase, but he'd rather not talk about it.

MENTAL ETC

boy has autism. i'd say level 1 . big sensory issues & needs VERY LIMITED amounts of input. poppy helps desensitize him but. i like to imagine him with little sunglasses & headphones. a little odd socially too . he was always an outcast but you know what? we ball . he balled. he made it.

it's MY headcanon so i get to assign him a delicious dash of paranoia. maybe ppd? probably not ppd. but still very paranoid. ocd perhaps or severe gad at the very least. he thinks everything will kill him or is against him, severely. he tends to isolate when he's nervous. he copes by talking things out with poppy who is always so understanding & encouraging of him to try new things. they r in love <3

severe depression, pdd or mdd . he has to take medication [do trolls have medication. probably. it's , uh, holistic] but poppy always reminds him & makes sure he's on track

ptsd from the abandonment & grandma thing. sorry singing killed your grandma brother.

regresses as a way to cope because :3 i said so. the 'stuff' [pacifier] is LITERAL!!!! he only told poppy [he didn't tell her. she found out when he had an involuntary episode in front of her. she was confused but she loves him so it went well] & she is :3 about it. "ohoohoo my baby branch my bitty b ... yes you are" she thinks it is so cute but he is embarrassed . in tbt he revealed it a little to his brothers. &

john dory - doesn't really get it but likes seeing him be a little guy

totally has meltdowns from overstimulation & poppy just. takes him to a dark quiet room & he thrives in there .

FAMILY

john dory - big 'i hate you... bro' type of relationship. they don't get along but they respect each other. if my opinion of john dory changes maybe they will get along better. not now though/

bruce - COOL OLDER BROTHER!!!! branch looks up to him but he really also looks up to branch like.... bro survived on his own like that.....:cry: they are a little awkward sometimes but bond over engaging in activities together

clay - "hey buddy" "hey pal" ":}" ":}" very chill around each other. just calm. clay has similar symptoms in his autism so they get each other

floyd - besties for life... as much as he;d never admit it branch is So emotional so they talk things over & bond over deeper things like trauma & missing family. they are besties GENERAL

gets greyer some days & poppy ALWAYS makes an extra effort on those days to make sure he knows he's loved

hates the sensation of sneezing so much that he chooses to avoid new flowers/textures in case of allergies/dust [autism, baby]

can't really sleep. struggles with feeling alone at night but if he's with poppy he feels. odd & strange. why is there Somebody in my bed ?!

because of that last one he just passes out everywhere. boy is the eeper for real

had a crush on poppy the whole time since movie 1.

lowkey wishes he was 'normal' & cries about it sometimes. does this lead to meltdowns? occasionally.

was absolutely not a biter as a baby. mouth textures BAD!!!!

in the same vein, very picky eater. literally will starve instead of eating the same meals every week. mad respect for that branch i'm the opposite

hates gum with a passion. the texture the taste the noise is all terrible

gets very destructive when overwhelmed. like. screaming crying yelling hitting. but! poppy did a seminar on neurodiversity for those guys in there so they . kind of get it. they help branch not to get overwhelmed

LITG SEASON 7 — STICK OR TWIST: FIRST IMPRESSIONS

a bunch of opinions no one asked for!

ok, so first things first, things I really hate:

MC design. I'm sorry, she's UGLY. she's also too skinny. I hate her teeth when she smiles. plus, where is her hairline?

our outfits. I know they add more literally every week but the ones we have for now are ugly. I just liked the yellow nightwear (?) combo.

no, actually, the hairs and piercings and jewellery are also awfull. it feels like season 4 again 😭

the other girls design. I think the one I like the most is Uma, I think she's pretty although her pose is weird at. but Summer is ugly and Bonnie's design looks rushed.

the season is short as hell with like 33 episodes

now, things that I like:

I'm always optimistic at the beginning of the season, it's my nature, I'm sorry.

all the girls feel unique and they talk in unique ways too. on season 6 all the girls always seemed to say the same things and think the same with only like 2 stand outs (flo and ivy)

the boys have relationships and dynamics among them! like, Bryson and Joyo hate each other. Raf and Alex are really close and talk highly about each other (for ex, when Alex said he would love to introduce Raf to his nephews).

all the boys feel unique too. I don't know if they have unique dialogue, but I think Raf does since our chats always somehow mention Daphne. I need to snoop around a little more.

but their personalities are very different from each other. plus, I think like I know A LOT about them already.

MC's personality. oh my god, she's not obnoxious and annoying like the last 3. I think she's flirty and fun and I loved how she replied to the guys when I wasn't choosing dialogue. she talks like a normal human being, THANK GOD.

also, the episodes were long af. love that!

about the characters:

Uma is my girl. she made a mistake, she apologized, we are good. I like her A LOT, she's confident, she's fun, she's easy going and she's friendly. I think she'll be the "mom" of the casa girls.

Bonnie is also great. I think she's chill and mature and funny. she doesn't really gaf and she's sooo into us (if you're bisexual) to the point she's just twisting to be with us in the villa. she gets along well with the boys and the girls.

Summer. well, she's The Bitch™ of the season. We need a villain and I'm guessing she's ours. She doesn't seem deranged like previous ones, though. she's a Casa Girl and Casa Girls want to get to the Villa, right? can't blame her.

first boy I'm gonna mention is Joyo. I'm not really a fan. he gives me player vibes with his mysterious façade and the whole Geri thing that happened to Bryson.

and I like Bryson. I always have a thing for the Funny Boy™, you guys know me, so it wouldn't be different this time. he's not my first option but he's A option.

Alex is a golden boy. def husband material. I KNOW he'll be a fan favourite. he is chill, easy to talk to and wholesome. all his chats were great. I think he really comes across as trustworthy. one of my options, as well.

now, MY BOY. Raf is ever cuter than I thought he would be. he's so sweet and I find his loyalty admirable. he reminds me of a previous islander (haha and I think you guys know who). he's just... my type.

this is it. would give it a 8. great start if you ask me. but it's fusebox so chances are they will fuck it up in no time

Cotl Fanfic - Thoughts & Opinions?

So, this is the first post on this new account and it's a question for my Cult of the Lamb fandom pookies. I just recently got the game and I'm obsessed with it and have been thinking about writing a BUNCH of fanfiction.

So I wanted notes and suggestions on some things, and I might even make polls on some of them, starting most importantly with the topic below:

Gender, Pronouns, and Sexuality that are so far, are solely based on vibes and what I've seen the rest of the fandom agreeing on (And canon of course):

- The Lamb's identity will probs change depending on the fic type, but for most of them they will be assigned male at birth, He/They & Pansexual. Simple and sweet because our lamb boi is just tryna SURVIVE out here in a cult of idiots that can't even cook their own food or clean up their own shit. (Is this just me wanting to write more he/they characters in my stories because I'm he/they? Yes. Yes, it is folks.)

- Narinder is transgender male He/Him. I'm making him transgender male because I said so. I want more trans rep guys, leave me alone. & Homosexual because if his whole vibe and personality doesn't scream gay angsty emo cat I don't know what else in this world does.

- Leshy is cisgender He/Him. I can imagine him experimenting with they/them though. I may include something on that... If anyone has any notes on that I'm all ears. Best Bi. His level of chaos just radiates ADHD bisexual with way too much energy and free time.

- Heket is cis-gender She/Her. The only girlie in the family, fates have mercy on her and her patience. A lesbian for sure. I think the whole fandom just sort of agrees on this, right? With like, lots of wives because she is a highkey baddie? At least that's the impression I've been given based on all of her fanart and simps.

- Calamari- Sorry, I mean Kallamar, is cis-gendered He/Him. I was thinking of making him a transgender man too? Idk, I've just been told the cis's need rep too, and it made me gag and now I want to wave my magic writer wand and make all the characters trans and nonbinary. Opinions on that are welcome. Anyway. A pansexual, and I hear he canonically had multiple spouses? Despite looking like he has zero rizz. I mean, damn. Good for him I guess. Go squid boy, go.

In this, he's gonna be single though, because I like the idea of him struggling to find new spouses and Heket laughing at his struggle.

- Shamura is absolutely nonbinary they/them. A friend has told me this is canon, and that people may gun for my fucking throat if I change it. Not that I really want to, it fits. Shamura is lowkey one of my favorites. I just like spiders. I'm also deeply afraid of them and cry if I see them irl. I also think they're bisexual in the exact opposite way as Leshy, in that they are a calm, mildly tired wine aunt of the family, mixed with the senile grandparent that snores loudly then stops and everyone pauses and looks at each other like 'Are... Are they fucking dead?'

Anyway, this is a long post, but I needed to get this out there before I started writing stuff for this fandom. Any opinions are welcome, but no bullying other people's thoughts, and be chill guys.

Fr. I'm like a skittish cat, you'll scare me away, and then no one gets fanfiction.

Jimin woke up trembling. Once again he had a nightmare. He often had the feeling that he wasn't good enough for Bangtan and these thoughts kept him awake at night, if he even managed to sleep at all.

The others were much better than him at dance training, even at singing, and the others were more beautiful and more popular anyway.

Objectively speaking, he knew himself that it was nonsense to even have these thoughts, after all, he always did his best….but still he couldn't stop thinking about it.

Quietly, so as not to wake his roomate hoseok, he tried to make himself comfortable again and continue sleeping. But it didn't work.

So he did the only other thing he could think of. He tiptoed over to Hoseok's bed and tapped him gently on the shoulder.

Of course, his hyung woke up immediately and looked at Jimin with worried but sleepy eyes.

"Jimin? Have you had another nightmare?" he asked gently.

"Yes," Jimin stammered.

"Aww come here," J-hope said gently and pulled the smaller one into his lap.

Jimin told him about his thoughts a long time ago and Hoseok could understand the younger one's worries and wanted to help him. He thought Jimin was very talented and he wanted Jimin to see it that way too.

Neither of them had said a word during the whole time. Instead, Hobi had simply stroked Jimin's back reassuringly and cuddled him a little.

But now he wanted to make sure that Jimin's sad face looked cheerful again.

So he slowly stroked his finger along the Jimin's neck and watched with amusement as he scrunched up.

He repeated this a few times until Jimin turned around and stared at his hyung, looking slightly bewildered.

"We can't have a sad Jiminie here, can we?" he asked, before beginning to nuzzle and nibble Jimin's neck in turn.

Of course, he didn't want to overwhelm Jimin or wake up the other members, so he kept to the soft tickles, which also got quite a good reaction out of the younger one.

"Why are you giggling? Did something funny happen? Or are you laughing at me?" asked J-hope in fake disbelievement.

"Nohahaha I'm nahahat," Jimin replied, still giggling.

"Then why are you laughing?" J-hope asked again.

"Because…" Jimin began his sentence, but was interrupted by his own laughter as Hoseok began to spider his tummy.

He quickly freed one of his hands and covered his mouth to avoid waking the others up.

"You're such a cute baby," Hobi teased Jimin as he ran his hand up and down Jimin's side.

"Nahaha please!" the blond haired boy plead as he tried to wiggle out of Hoseok's lap.

"Why? Does that tickle my cute Jiminie?" Hoseok teased, moving to his ribs.

Jimin had to admit that he really liked this kind of attention and care, and it was good to be able to laugh. Genuine and without having to look perfect for the camera.

Hoseok also tried to attack jimin's armpits a few times, but jimin wouldn't let him, so he gave up. He was also able to wreck the younger one properly another time.

"Hobi please.....I cahahan't", he giggled cutely while wriggling and squirming in the dancers lap.

“I’m almost done.” Hobi chuckled before blowing a few small raspberrys into Jimin's neck. Although loving the sensation, he also hated it. The vibration felt so ticklish and he felt so vulnerable but it distracted him and Jimin was very grateful to his hyung for that.

"Thanks Hobi hyung", Jimin smiled before falling asleep in the dancers arms.

"Good night my little mochi" Hobi said before pulling a blanket over the two of them.

I know it's short I'm sorry Hope you guys like it. By the way I think Jimin is just the type for soft tickles...like it's really hard for me to imagine him getting absolutely wrecked. I think cute and playful soft tickles are the perfect thing for Minnie but just my opinion !🤚

Lol he is literally normal in a group of weirdos . His only defining traits are an ahoge and green jacket. If you put him in a room of generic anime boys he would Not stand out. He would be lost :(

sorry for submitting a danganronpa character but his whole thing is that he's average. he says at the beginning of the game that even among the average, he's completely average. he's the one character in the game who doesn't have a real talent, having only have gotten into hope's peak academy because of luck, being the ultimate lucky student

Look at him. His talent is luck. Literally. Only normal person at the academy because he's literally just some guy and everyone else is "the best of the best" at something. Spends a lot of the first chapter (and a little of the next ones) being like "I'm literally just some guy"

He is a highschool student who describes himself as average in everything, liking whatever's popular, has messy brown hair and a hoodie, and is the protagonist despite only getting into the situation in-game out of luck. He gets two female love interests, he is the ultimate generic anime-style protagonist. He does become less average in the finale of danganronpa v1 and danganronpa v2, but until then he is the most generic boy one can be, and that generic boy swag is what somehow gets him women.

That's the #1 thing people know about him. His whole thing is that he's just A Guy. He's what you think of when you think of generic anime protagonist. He's got the power of friendship. He's handheld by the smarter/more powerful characters to a point where it's unnecessary but still ends up the leader because he has Hope and Believes in his Friends. He's just a decent guy! Also, my favorite character.

I mean. C'mon. His entire introduction is surrounding the fact that he's so average and boring that even among average people he'd be considered too average, his character development is the usual "With the power of friendship we can overcome anything!!!!", and his personality is that "nice mc with no backbone" type. He even has that generic anime dub voice

Propaganda:

He's bisexual and a short king (who is unfazed by the fact that he is short; unlike many characterswho are short he never mentions it once and I'm 98% sure that if someone else brought it up he'd just be like "ok...?"), also a very decent guy

He acts pretty adorable, and I find it hilarious how other characters outshine him in protagonist potential, which makes him an even more fun protagonist in my opinion.

His whole thing is that he's just A Kid in a peer group of what's basically super-kids. He's the epitome of what you think of when you think of generic male anime protagonist: - He's got the power of friendship. - He's handheld by the smarter/more powerful characters to a point where it's unnecessary. - Acts as the polite straight man to the insane personalities around him in an "well... whatever you say then 😅" kinda way. - Obviously in way over his head but still ends up the leader because he has Hope and Believes. - Also because he is the main/POV character and so inexplicably gets to figure out and survive things. - He has a little sister and parents who look just as generic as him.

he is also portrayed to be clumsy and flustered easily. Which feels like a very Generic Anime Teenager trait to have.

Ayin

Reasons:

You know that one mspaint shoulder grip image? It's him in there. They don't know it's Ayin. Also he is essentially written to be the "self insert" protag in his game.

Black hair. Pale skin. His only unique physical trait is his eyes which are like yellow i guess.

very generic from the black hair, but he has gold eyes and wears a labcoat. his other clone which is Manager X that you play as throughout lobotomy corporation is so so generic that he needs a paper taped to the front of his face to distinguish him apart from ayin.

Messy black hair with bangs?? I'm sorry but it is literally just him. Just a guy with black hair and black clothes in a white labcoat. That is it. Do you know the ms paint shoulder-gripping meme? The guy with black hair with his back turned to the viewer is Ayin. Like I cannot stress enough that the meme was originally created as a piece of badly drawn Lobotomy Corporation fanart. As proof, if you compare the hair to his in-game sprite it is literally just him.

The only colour in this guy’s colour scheme apart from black and white is the gold in his irises and even then in many cutscenes those are hidden. He looks as if some random asshole was chosen from a crowd shot and was forced to become the protagonist that’s how bland this guy looks

Look at him. If you see fanart of him when you're not specifically searching for it you can never tell that it's him because he looks like every other generic male character. (Though I must admit the coat saves him in that regard.) Also [MAJOR SPOILERS] there have been quite a few versions of him running around in some form or another, which could be a plus if you take "generic" to mean "a dime a dozen".

His hair is generic, his clothes are generic, you can see a picture of him and you can never know if it's him or a random scientist without clarification

Propaganda:

He is frequently mistaken for Kim Dokja (shoutouts if he also gets submitted) from Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint and I think the fandom overlap between them is very funny. All that aside, I think Ayin is very neat as a character :)

Hes literally just a guy.

The world's most pathetic abusive father. Was too head over heels for a girl so he followed her to the ends of the earth to help fulfill her dreams. She was obsessed with trying to save people and while he didn't really care he wanted to be with her. They did save people for a while but then she "died" and he got like, super obsessive about trying to bring her back. Completely took advantage of the man that was obsessed with him this entire time as they worked to resurrect her. Eventually managed to create an AI implanted into her body only to get pissed off when she didn't have the same personality and mannerisms as she did. Proceeded to refuse to interact with said AI outside of moments where it was absolutely necessary and instead the man that was obsessed with him ended up having to do all the actual work to take care of her. Said AI works at his Delusions Will Murder You Facility to generate a profit for him because why the hell not. Man that was obsessed with him also got turned into an AI because why not. He did all this while looking like the most generic blank slate of a character imaginable.

he looks pretty average and can easily be mistaken for kim dokja from omniscient readers viewpoint if he gets in it together with dokja it would be super duper funny.

Shoulder grip image guy

I haven't finished playing LobCorp yet, nor have I touched the sequel Library of Ruina, but already I want to dropkick this man.

Iconic for being the guy that’s gripped by the shoulders in that one meme that no one recognises. He’s committed so many atrocities he’s my favourite criminal scientist

this character is so generic that most people dont realize they've even seen him. he's been in 1 or 2 popular memes and nobody registers him as a character they just accept him as a "generic guy". it's a little funny

“You need help over here?” The sudden voice causes Nick to jump and quickly turn around on his heels. He opens his mouth to respond but the sight of the tall male in front of him causes him to panic and freeze in his spot. Nick finds himself eyeing the boy up and down quite a few times, gay panic fully setting in as he fully takes in his appearance.

Dark blue hair, defined cheekbones, two chains around his neck, long, dangly earrings, a few rings littering his long and slim fingers which hold an empty shot glass, a blue and black striped ripped sweater (which was hanging very loosely on his shoulders), black baggy jeans, and docs. Nick could’ve sworn he saw a glimpse of a tattoo on his wrist but he wasn’t quite sure because of the dark lights in the room.

“Hello?” The male calls, tapping Nick’s shoulder with his pointer finger, seeming to snap the boy out of his trance as he looks back up at him.

“Umm.. Hi, sorry.” Nick apologizes, a subtle blush coating his cheeks in an instant. “I have no idea what I’m doing, I apologize. I’m not a drinker so all of this is very confusing to me.”

“Hey, don’t sweat it. We all start out as beginner drinkers. You need help picking something out?” The blue haired male asks, his long earring touching his shoulder as he tilts his head to the side.

“God please. Nothing strong.”

“I got you, don’t worry.” Nick watches the male in front of him set his glass down next to him to grab another small glass.

“Do you mind pouring me like two?”

“Yeah, of course! Two drinks coming right up.” As the male begins to make the drinks, Nick finds himself staring at him again, the small blush on his cheeks darkening a shade or two as he eyes his side profile. “Here you go, two Gin and Tonic cocktails. This is the simplest of drinks in my opinion so you should be perfectly fine if you down the whole thing.”

“Perfect, thank you so much.” Nick smiles at the male, the smile he returns making him melt before he takes the two drinks.

“Oh, I’m Finn by the way.” Finn greets, picking up his shot glass to pour himself another drink.

“Nick.”

Episode 31 - The Break

It will be so refreshing to liveblog an episode that isn't heavy on characterization or analysis, oh god, I am tired of typing words.

He is so sad and for no reason... I just want to wrap him in a heated blanket.

World's most serious case of Sads, finished off with an evil little glare.

I can imagine adult Joris doing the same thing to Kerubim even by Wakfu times. Just a cunty, unamused little gaze. I can see it so clearly. This will happen in season 4, mark my words.

Also, inside me are two wolves. One of them wants to say "perhaps it's unusual for Joris to not go hook line and sinker for whatever ideas Keke proposes", and the other wants to say "Joris and Kerubim having psychic vibe battles moment #5"

He is so unserious.

Joris loses this round in the game of mutual psychological manipulations.

(Guy who notices landmarks in this show voice) (Also, guy who, for some reason, has developed a parasocial relationship with this setpiece in a kids show voice) THE TOWER. THE FUCKING TOWER

I've already spoken on this topic, but Kerubim already being known to sell stuff and have strong opinions on the ethics of museums makes me so unwell. Especially with implications of the Crepin family being salespeople.

I am not going to elaborate. You've read my other posts. Just... yeah.

Can I get some love for non-Cra archers in this universe? The degree of unemployment must be hellish.

Also Lou has two swords, and Nella has two quivers. They are so normal.

Some may think that Kerubim is out of shape, but I will argue that this is his Farm Boy shape. His "not constantly on the road and fighting monsters while worrying about travelling supplies" shape.

He's still muscular, because Herding Animals is Serious Business, but he's got a bit of a gut going on, because there's no food insecurity, and the food he has is mostly meat and milk.

Considering old Kerubim also has the gut, — and is, notably, still very agile, — I think that this is just, like, Kerubim's natural shape when he's eating well and living like a normal person.

Sorry for overanalysing his body. I just wanted to talk about my "adventuring should be deconstructed as a concept and examined more closely, considering the multiple characters who had been ready to die "to become legends" about it. Like is all the trauma, food insecurity, and violence worth it, when the only way for people to truly respect you in this career, is to die in a cool way?" agenda.

The resemblance between young Keke in this episode and his older self is actually scary.

Say NO to alcohol, say YES to being a calcium-based lifeform.

I've never mentioned this before on this blog, but it's very likely that Kerubim is kind-of-sort-of accidentally implied to have an underbite.

It varies, whether he has his teeth in a normal bite, or an underbite, — and it is an art style choice, it happens to some other characters, albeit nowhere near as often as it does to Kerubim, — but, once you see it, and know what I'm talking about, you can't unsee it. Hell, it's on half the screenshots in this episode already!

Underbites are something that goes in families, which fits really well.

Because, like... yeah. That sure does seem like a family thing.

Together with the "pale-ish brown pigmentation around an eye or both eyes" thing, and the triangle-ish shape of their heads and snouts, Keke and Atch are the Bouba and Kiki of siblinghood.

Anyway, for transparency's sake, despite the underbite being one of Atcham's very notable character features, he is also sometimes drawn with a normal bite. Which might point towards Kerubim's underbite also being a genuine part of his character design, — instead of it being a case of animators liking the look of it a lot.

Personally, I like to think that both of them had been trying to fix his underbite his whole life by simply willing it away, and it's Not working.

If they actually realized they care about one another, and could be chill about it instead of immediately starting a Doomed Toxic Cottagecore Farm, Pangaea would reform.

Oh? You like Kerubim and Lou? Well, then, do you think Lou and Kerubim efficiently utilized girl power when they, Bontarians, went to their oh-so-hated Sidimote Moors and Brakmar, to conduct what they call a "slaughter-safari"?

This is not a Divorce Theory I usually subscribe to, but my funny crack theory is that she left him to go adventure around the world because he wanted to settle down and adopt a kid or whatever.

Truly, the possibilities of kerulou divorce theories are endless.

If they formed a polycule, Pangaea would explode.

I like to think that whatever Julith has going on is a cloak with a similar, but more complex enchantment.

This item is real, but I can't really find the sword mentioned by Lou moments prior.

I need to inject this image inside, intravenously.

Sorry for another ask but I am curious I know you said you can relate to Raph and Don is your fav. I will get to the point lol. What is your opinion on Raph? For the iterations you have seen of course

Oh this a welcomed one!

I adore Raph. He's one of my favorite character types - the gruff, protector who inside has this heart of gold, he just has to work through some stuff.

Rise Raph, will be first to go in this department, what a himbo, what a gem, what a sweetie. He's still got some of his rage, but he's more so the protector of the family. I love details like the bandage on his chest, that smile. His interactions with his brothers and April are so funny and wholesome. (The Lair Games and The Clothes Don't Make the Turtle are my favorite episodes for some choice brotherly moments)

Then we get to 2003 Raph, who is the one I first saw, the one who made me adore the character as a whole. This is the one I related to the most, because of the mix of his heartfelt moments, mixed with sometimes being too much.

Shoutouts to Lone Raph and Cub, for being the best Raphael episode. This boy just wants to save his loved ones and his brothers and father, bring out the best in him. Meet Casey Jones is another great Raph episode, because we see how Raph can turn OUT if he's not careful (and showing his merciful side, which I feel like is a character trait, that doesn't get talked about enough?)

Like, this boy could've laid Casey out, truly could've beat the snot outta him and left him hanging, but he DIDNT'.

I also, really appreciate in Hunted the way that Raph specifically wanted to *wrestle* with Leatherhead. There was no fear of his strength or his temper, just full out respect. I remember I read this AMAZING fict, btw involving them by Halogalapaghost: https://archiveofourown.org/works/53261914 Oh my gosh SO GOOD.

I really enjoyed the storylines they gave Raph, throughout 03, because he was trying to be better from what he was - even though, some of it was still his pissing contest with Leo, but ohhh so good... and Same as It Never Was Raph?

2007 RAPHAEL

Oh man, this totally gave me a type when I was 11... Gruff, armored, badass motorcycle, I was fresh off my Sonic phase (yes I was a Shadow stan, let's just get that outta the way now)

My Linkin Park listening, Shadow the Hedgehog loving self, was fresh off of getting caught up on 03 when this dropped.

That movie had no right being that fun. I know it's up in the air whether or not it's ACTUALLY 03 canon but it hurts no one to think it is so I consider this Raph to just be the 19 year old ver of 03 Raph. Lot of time to grow and adjust. The Nightwatcher look for him, was SO good and that scene where he's fighting that demon? LOVED IT. Still die laughing to this day.

I need to read the 07 comics, because I know there's a Nightwatcher origin comic.

The fight between this Raph and Leo too... this was one where, Raph had some good points. Leo had issues to work through but then he comes back and just expects everyone to be ready to go back to how it was... and Raph's been keeping things in check, while Don and Mikey tried to keep them financially afloat, (frick I should've included 07 Donnie too, but again *points to "I see them as the same just older"*) and Raph had to keep the city SAFE.

Some of the BEST ficts I ever read, involved that fight in the rain. Mmm that was good HOT SOUP

But then... my favorite Raphael of all time...

IDW Raphael is everything, I love about him and more. He's this protector, he's still got his temper, but his bonds with his family, with Casey, with Alopex...

It's just all coming together so nicely and I ADORE moments like these, where we see him calm, where we see his SMILE. WHere everything in his world, for just ONE MOMENT is all right. Where he's okay.

I love that and I adore Raph/Alopex, I love it more than RaphXMona. (I ALSO LOVE THIS ONE. IT'S GOOD BUT RAPHLOPEX IS MY OTP)

And I do not have an opinion yet on Mutant Mayhem Raph YET, but we will get there.

I just need to get this off my chest.

I feel like so many fans give CL Rayman a little too much credit. They’re always praising him, but I’ve never seen one person who is reasonably critical about him. (Except the one who aren’t really really fans) Yes, Rayman doing explicit adult activities, saying fuck, abusing drugs, and killing people is fun, but he’s technically not perfect. I’m tired of fans pretending like he is. I like the premise of his character, and this whole new approach is very interesting to me. But I’m sorry, the edgy Flanderization is just really annoying.

Yes, Rayman is supposed to be edgy. He has always been edgy. Rayman 3 being a big primary example of this. However, Rayman in Rayman 3 wasn’t just some mischievous edgy frat boy. He had more variety. Aside from having edge, he was also this laidback dude who loved to relax, had a wholesome childish spirit to him, and overall shows he cares for others around him.

That’s what CL Rayman is missing: Variety. Hell, I wouldn’t be a Rayman fan today if Sparks of Hope only portrayed Rayman as nothing but this salty millennial who can’t let go of the past. There’s not one scene with CL Rayman, outside of work, that doesn’t involve him in anything vulgar or offensive. I’m not gonna count any scenes where he’s in his TV Persona, because that’s technically not him being himself. That’s just him doing his job. Look, I love edgy characters, but not when they’re oversaturated with the one thing they’re most known for. Angel Dust couldn’t even compete with that level of edge. I’m not saying Rayman can’t be angry and depressed. As a matter of fact, he has every right to. His feelings are completely valid. But would it kill the writers to show him being funny or wholesome for one minute?

His least edgiest scene in the whole show has got to be his interview with Bullfrog. While it still presented an angsty atmosphere, and the vomiting moment was unnecessary, I’ll admit it was a breath of fresh air seeing him take a break from all that swearing and accept a juice box. My favorite part of that scene has got to be seeing a smile on his face. A real smile. You know, something tells me that Ubisoft doesn’t want Rayman to be happy in his series.

Rayman doesn’t feel like Rayman, either. Or even a character for that matter. In my opinion, he feels more like an early 2000s’ Newgrounds parody. Yes, I KNOW he’s supposed to be a whole different take on the character, but you know something? You CAN make an already existing character entirely different! It’s a really bold move to experiment more depth with that character. However, it’s also important to let them keep a tiny bit of their old, familiar charisma, so that they’re still recognizable to the fans. Familiarity is the key. Without that familiarity, that character might as well have a different name and appearance. CL Rayman doesn’t have Rayman’s charm, his humor, or even his good heart. Just his looks, and identity.

He does get struck by guilt after learning the truth about Eden, and he sacrifices his entire career just to fix his own mistakes. However, those don’t count as being kind. He’s killing fascists out of good intention, but in the end, it’s just violence. Not kindness. It’s really hard to see Ramon as the type of guy who would give me a hug when all I’ve seen him act is angry, depressed, and violent, not to mention he has snorted coke and ate sushi off of prostitutes in the comfort of his million dollar penthouse. If they want me to believe he truly is a sweet guy, THEN I WANNA FUCKING SEE IT! Have him, ya know, interact with kids! Comfort Dolph on his loss! I’d also like to add that Rayman’s heel turn moment just felt kinda forced. We don’t even know how he got access to firearms. In the last episode, he was so whiny and weak. Then all of a sudden, he’s strong? C’mon, the dude has been loyal to Eden for years. They could’ve at least shown him reflecting on the impact of his actions first, and then figure out a way to resolve the problem at stake. I would have rather the show end like that so that the writers could give themselves time to build up a climatic story for season 2, not just get right to the point. Six episodes or not, it’s a poor writing direction.

I don’t care what anyone says: A 100% serious role does not work for Rayman. Don’t get me wrong; You can take Rayman seriously, but we’re also supposed to laugh at him, and with him. He’s not Spider-Man (a character that blends realism with lighthearted comedy), he’s a freaking Looney Tune! Even a game as dark and serious as Rayman 2 had moments to make us giggle. Humor plays an important role in Rayman’s character. Michel Ancel also intended humor to be one of his most defining traits. Just by looking at him, you know he’s someone you can’t take seriously! A Rayman that isn’t funny makes as much sense as having Crash Bandicoot talk.

I beg the writers to PLEASE flesh out Rayman’s character more in season 2! He can still swear, kill, snort coke, I don’t care, but at least bring out his sweeter side! Maybe make him a little goofy, too! For Polakus’s sake, make Rayman do something “Rayman-like” for once!

You can't really get away from the religious / Christianity undertones with this, the "stained-glass language" as it were, but I would like to put a bid in that I think what She-Ra got at with the canon on this stuff was something of a specific form of it - a popular form, but there are actually many shades of "Christianity" out there. I've known Progressive Christians and Liberation Theology folks who are the absolute opposite of the authoritarian views. (There are LGBT+ ministers out there, in liberal churches, is what I'm saying). There are also people like me who are ex-evangelical, but who kept certain aspects of the belief system to become Progressive / go our own way. Granted, the authoritarian types, the Evangelical-authority structure that Prime represents, they don't think of the "liberal" or "leftist" Christians as actual Christians and tend to gatekeep authors and speakers out of "Christian" venues. (It's basically the reason like Rob Bell, a pastor who wrote a book arguing that Hell doesn't exist got drummed out of mainstream theological circles, to say nothing of what they do to LGBT+ believers and allies). I am sorry for rambling, but this is a long-term interest of mine. I'm an ex-evangelical in a long deconstruction. I've also been going through a fresh round of the Deconstruction That Never Ends as a part of my grief-process (I'm the person who lost a loved one this week, previous ask), so it is on the forefront of my mind. I just... in response to others, I do want to put in a word that describing Prime's ways as symbolic of "Christian" is... not inaccurate at all and is very on-point, but to warn that to fall into the trap of* all* things under the broad "Christian" banner are emblematic of that is kind of like saying "All Muslims are ISIS" or "All dogs are Dobermans." I do think the "Christian Left" needs a new name because "Christian" is essentially ruined, but we have not found it yet. All Dobermans are Dogs, but not all Dogs are Dobermans, I guess. I find, personally, that Prime represents a specific thing. He's the God who is worried about what's in your pants. He's a God who believes that suffering purifies. He is the God who will send you to Hell for not living to his perfection. Some of us who believe in a higher power and might even still call ourselves "Christian" for lack of a better, modern term stopped believing in that God long ago. (And want to murder him with as much extreme prejudice as future-Hordak with neck-grab strangle abyss-drop). You can guess at what scene I am most looking forward to in Sweary She-Ra. Nate has said a couple of times, I think, that Horde Prime and the whole storyline surrounding him was inspired by his own evangelical upbringing, so it's very much not a coincidence that much of Prime's world is a reflection of that particular type of Christianity. Personally, I grew up as Roman Catholic, which is a rather different type of Christianity to Evangelicalism, so this kind of outward, 'repent or go to hell' preaching is a little alien to what I'm familiar with. But there are still parallels.

The reason I haven't explicitly mentioned religion in the comic is twofold. The first being that I just don't have enough experience with the type of Christianity that Prime represents to make it (for want of a better word) faithful. It would either be a poor imitation or an exaggeration. And yeah, religion means a lot to some people - I mean, this is tumblr so you could all be out there like 'God is dead and I killed her', but I think there's a chunk of you who don't want to see the sledgehammer 'Religion bad' message it would end up as. The other reason is that I don't have an axe to grind against religion - I'm not religious now, but I've never had reason to say 'the church is awful and we should take it down'. Maybe I'm lucky, I dunno. So I focus here on the things that I do have stronger opinions about - the rise of anti-lgbt hate (shown in Prime's story), and the importance of persevering and showing that it really does get better if you just hold on (shown in Catra's).

And yes, Prime does represent that specific type of God used to strike fear into people to obtain obedience and compliance. And this scene, the 'purification' is a perfect example of that. I genuinely don't think Prime is too bothered by Catra calling Hordak by his name, I don't think he needs to go through the whole memory wipe thing for that. He does it as a show of power to scare Catra into obedience and compliance with his wishes. It's bad enough at face value, what Prime does, but when you consider that he's needlessly torturing a living being as a threat to someone else... ugh, that's utterly horrific.

Anyhow, I am not nearly knowledgeable enough to be debating religion and its portrayal in SPOP. All I can do is tell you things from my point of view and how I reflect them here. But one thing's for sure, I think we're all looking forward to Prime's defeat!

Oooooh, this is going to be a long one.. I always thought that my view of the South Park characters were pretty boring so here are my first impressions:

Kyle broflovski

Sexuality Headcanon: I personally think he’s straight, I feel like I’ll get a lot of shame because of this but I never really saw him as a bisexual man let alone a gay man😭 I’m so sorry. But on one hand I do kind of see him being a Demisexual? I don’t know if there is really that much evidence to it but I feel like him being Demisexual. I can also see Asexual Kyle too? I think he’s straight but definitely not allo.

Gender Headcanon: I think he’s a cis man, but trans boy Kyle sounds like a good headcanon? It mostly rooted from Cartman’s sexist jokes but it sounds pretty cool, I’m down for more trans rep! Even if it’s from canonically cis characters..

A ship I have with said character: Kybecca is so fuckwg cute !!!!!!! The way Kyle guides her into relationships was adorable. I also like the dynamic of a shy awkward inexperienced-in-relationships girl and a nice (a genuinely nice) guy who helps her out when it comes to relationships!!! Fucking blorbos.. I want to hold them around like 2 little kittens :( I also really see the potential in Kychole and I wish it got more recognition, it would’ve been an actually great chance for him to get a girlfriend, fuck you Cartman, like honestly.

A BROTP I have with said character: It’s probably going to be Style, of course. Their friendship is honestly very cute to watch, but it can also get a bit sad at times (ex: assburgers). I also like Tokyle, Kyutters, and Kybe as a brotp. Tolkien and Kyle being mom best friends, looking over at their insane children fighting like little chihuahuas, while talking about mom things.. hwoedhsj. And also Kyle and Bebe being best friends gossiping to each other and spilling the tea (this wasn’t my idea though). I’m a bit stuck towards Kyutters though, cause I only thought of it just now.

A NOTP I have with said character: I used to like this ship A LOT, but now I have to say it’s Kyman. I can still see the potential in One sided Kyman and I always saw it being a thing somehow, but that’s as far as I’ll go for this ship nowadays. Kyman just feels weird, and all it took was a couple of callout posts for me to eventually lose interest in it.

A random headcanon: Kyle is the most simplest guy EVER. His music taste isn’t a specific genre and it all goes down to “well I like music as long as it sounds good”. He doesn’t like a specific type of food and is just like “I like any food as long as it’s good”. He’s the least fashionable and most distasteful guy in town, and his friends (the main 4 ofc) attempted to try and get him into fashion and introduce him to different kinds of genres (whether it be music, movies, or whatever) to see which one he’d consider to be his favorite. But it NEVER worked out, he’s just that boring. (Yeah, I’m projecting onto him, what about it)?

General Opinion over said character: He’s honestly such a well developed character, he’s not exactly my fave but I can definitely understand his popularity and place in this fandom! He’s just a lil guy :)

Stanley marsh

Sexuality headcanon: I think he’s either straight or bisexual, but all I know is that he definitely went through a bicurious phase. Remember how confused he was when Wendy turned out to be trans? He was also confused about Tweek and Craig’s whole relationship! He doesn’t know where he stands on the LGBT spec but he’s still trying to figure it out.

Gender headcanon: I only thought of this just now but demiboy Stan. I also like to think he’s experimenting with his gender, and it goes down to the examples I listed trying to describe his sexuality from my perspective. He’s open to people using any pronouns on him, and I love that for him :)

A ship I have with said character: Stendy, I remember drawing Stendy A LOT over here. I still love their relationship but not as much as I used to. Although, I have to say that I still yearn for their good ol’ girlboss and malewife dynamic.. I would also consider Stolkien because their current relationship reminds me of a forbidden romance, it’s honestly interesting to look at it that way. I like to think he tries to get together with Tolkien in an attempt to open more doors for relationships, relating to his whole bicurious and gender questioning thing.

A BROTP I have with said character: Just like the brotp I have for Kyle, it’s Style. I also really like Stary as a friendship. I honestly hope that Gary might make a comeback and Stan would spend more time with him, while the rest of the main 4 gets absolutely mad they are hanging out with such a “wuss” and not with them instead >:( but unfortunately Gary is just a one and off character.

A NOTP I have with said character: I honestly don’t know what notp I have for him, I don’t seem to have any Stan ship that I actually loathe. I’m pretty sure I stated before that I LOVE ships featuring stan despite him not being my fave. Which is a bit weird to think about, but I’ll just leave it as a mere coincidence for now.

A random headcanon: Despite the fact that Stan’s goth phase was supposed to happen because of the fact Wendy broke up with him, he actually developed an interest in the goth style and still (secretly) hangs out with the goth kids. The goth kids don’t seem to mind being around him and they’re nice enough to actually guide him through the goth style! Stan REALLY enjoyed getting into it and the goth kids developed a soft spot for him, they’re a bunch of softies on the inside :( Stan would also wear a bunch of edgy black t shirts under his jacket because he just got soooooo into it. And his friends still don’t know about it, his interest in goth culture is still a secret, mostly out of fear of being ripped on.

General Opinion over said character: I honestly like him because he slightly reminds me of myself? We aren’t ENTIRELY similar but I can see myself in him. I also find a lot of his ships tasteful.

Kenny McCormick

Sexuality headcanon: I used to think he was a straight aromantic but now I can see him being pansexual, like I’m pretty sure he would love ANYTHING with titties. Him being a closeted pansexual aro is honestly very swaggy in my book. I say closeted because he literally lives in a family of rednecks, I think he’ll have to deal with a lot of internalized homophobia here. And I think it’s interesting to explore that in him! (The internalized homophobia idea was again not mine).

Gender headcanon: he’s a cis GNC man, he’s perfectly fine with identifying as a man but he loves dressing up as a princess, and he still does it from time to time!

A ship I have with said character: I don’t think I have any ship with him aside from Kenman. Their dynamic works very well and the way they laugh at each other’s jokes is so fuckeng adorable. I think their friendship should be explored more often, both in the actual show and in the fandom. There is a lot to unpack there. And also the way they carry a BFF necklace, adorable.

A BROTP I have with said character: Kenman again (I like it both romantically and platonically). I’m not used to ships with Kenny in them so I’m sorry if this is EXTREMELY bland.

A NOTP I have with said character: I’m sorry to say this but I never really found Bunny interesting.. that’s all I have to say, I’m sorry if that disappoints any of you.

Random headcanon: speaking of Kenny loving to dress as a princess, he sometimes roleplays as princesses with his little sister Karen, they come up with the most dramatic storylines ever and Kevin gets so annoyed by it sometimes and tells them to shut up. This one time Kenny and Karen stayed up all night playing dress up and they talked so loudly, that everyone woke up by the stupid annoying sounds they made. They never stopped doing it, and it was hell on earth for everyone else aside from these 2 mfs >:) I think there was also a point where all the other people around them heard it, but it was rather faint, so it took a while for everyone else to notice the loudness of it all.

General Opinion over said character: I never really thought about him, so my impression of him is a bit boring. But I’m hoping to dig more into his character if that’s what you guys want!

I'm gonna go slightly off track but I promise it has something to do with your question and I think it offers useful background (I also like ranting). When I was deliberating in my head when I was going to sleep yesterday what to say (yes very normal before bedtime activity) I was thinking that I'd tell you I don't really know how I got back into deadpoets from the fandom side, but I was racking my brains and I remembered, and I thought it was pretty funny. Apologies for dipping into my life but here we go. Basically I was in chemistry club and I came there and there was this boy and I immediately thought wow he's cute. This doesnt happen very often (twice a year maybe I don't find people attractive much) that's why I was like damn. And he reminded me of someone on telly and I was like hmmm, and then it hit me! That dude from Dead Poets Society!

Now at this point I had watched DPS like 3 years ago and I think it must have been before I had my sort of gay awakening and also before I was in fandoms bc when I googled Todd (that's what the guy looked like-well it turns out not as much as I thought bc I have a weird memory for faces but still quite a bit) I had the bright idea of looking on the fandom on tumblr where I was introduced to anderperry and I was like. yes. I continued looking at some posts like this and I was like yes this is so gay. Now I was so sure it was before I was gay (I'm bi but you get it) bc I think if I saw that now I would be like- that's gay. Then I didn't at all. Its a nice show of what perspective can do. Anyway I click on a clip (yk the one which is like I can take care of myself-no-what do you mean no-no*said in the flirtiest way possible*)and the record screeches stop. Just for a moment bc like wow they are american.

Now finally I get to answering your question. I think I mostly just forgot about the accents and the default accent in my head is british, but on top of that, the boarding school, but more importantly- the old boarding school, now that is a trope that isn't often american. On top of that you have the scenery, that type of nature which I don't associate with america at all. (I think the reasons behind why I thought they were British is probably just- I forgot, it was a long time ago and that's my default, and maybe a bit of the rest, but there is a reason why it feels very american). So I think hearing them there accents ofc that's a reason. But even though their opinions can very much be British, I think their attitudes and they way they voice there opinions is very not british.

And I also had a thought that maybe, the very reason they seem so american is because the things they do are so british(as well as the scenery) it feels jarring they are so american about it, and that's the very thing that makes it more so. That's just a thought tho. I think its certainly a bit about the whole freedom thing being very american and all that.

That's all the thoughts I have for now, if I'll think of something I'll share, I hope it's ok to write this through asks. And sorry for the LONG ask it's very interesting to talk about.

That is another thing I think DPS has done, in that it seems to be connected to lots of people's queer awakenings in some form or another? I had an experience a little similar to yours, where I obsessed over the film a lot when I was 12, came back when I was 15 and had figured out I was a guy, and was suddenly Very Cognisant Of Things I Had Not Been Before. (Also, that particular scene... yeah. Yeah.) Not sure exactly what it is - maybe just its status as a cult classic/ a family movie I think lots of families throw on, but yeah! Very neat. (Also, another sidenote - the average fandom age here /is/ very teen! Not necessarily a bad thing - also not surprising, given general fandom trends + this being a teen movie - but pretty fun! I came straight from DMBJ fandom, which felt much older, so it was a cool change.)

That is a VERY nice point about the way they voice their opinions. Big agree! [Insert "haha repression is a core British value" joke here], but yeah. Not to play into yet more stereotypes here, but the lack of self-deprecation in the dialogue really comes across a lot in making it feel American! And linked to that, the sense of dumb teenage confidence. I'm not sure if we get much of that in British media (or maybe I'm talking out of my arse...)

I like the idea of what you said, it being a British film with British "events", inhabited by American characters! Okay, that's going down a WHOLE new spiral about metatextual tragedy. (Maybe Neil dies because he tries to play by American rules in British conventions................ goes a little. Ah. You know, it's literally called New England!)

(And adding on to that - if Neil dies because he's playing by the "wrong" cultural norms that is SUCH a goddamn tragedy, but it also adds some weight to the ending... it's sadder, because everyone else is doing the same and in a system that doesn't appear to be changing no matter the changes THEY have undergone individually. immutability of the setting etc. etc. Sometimes The Setting Shapes You!)

Not a very coherent response, sorry (it is almost 11!). tl;dr: DPS is queer, nobody is self-deprecating enough to be English, and the placement of American characters in a British narrative is making me go a little crazyinsane. Also congrats on finding real life Todd Anderson (sort of)!
