It was strange to be sparring with Sidonai. Not because he wasn't particularly inclined towards the martial arts, but because he was a prince. It felt wrong to hold a saber and slash at him when he was at best a guest in his court, at worst a servant.

But it wasn't like he didn't want to spend more time with the prince. They were becoming friends, or at least it seemed. And sometimes friends tried to stab each other with blunted swords. Apparently.

"That means a lot coming from you, sir," he replied, dusting himself off as he stood again. "I hadn't even held a sword before today..."

Chanse had bought a gift for Angela’s birthday. That wasn’t abnormal. What was was that it was apparently waiting with some guy somewhere just on the border of California and Arizona. It would take too long for it to be shipped and really the drive was what? Five hours? Six or seven? Not that many in the grand scheme of things. So he was going to pick it up. Shayne had a lot of work to do. Places to go, people (unfortunately) to see. His head was buzzing with lists, with scripts, with ideas he couldn’t type out fast enough in his notes app. So, of course, he said he would go with him.

Where the hell did this even come from? Had he heard about the stunt Kasadya pulled recently? Did she tell him? Surely not! Why would she spill such beans to Tamiel Thambahl of all people?! Neither would her brother share the details of the missing clothing with him, she believed.

Yet here he was, wanting Ace to go into her brother's bedroom to 'borrow' his undergarments and sneak them over to him. And knowing Tamiel, Sidonai would never get them back. Or even if he did, he wouldn't want them back.

"I will do no such thing. Besides, I doubt they'd even fit you."
