Looking at some random downloads, realized a common theme was that Tunnel #29 is The. Cutest. Tunnel.

The 2% grade from Denver up to the Moffat Tunnel crawls through South Bend Canyon (along South Bend Creek) with superfluous tunnels and a surfeit of sharp curves, thanks to the mandate of then-Chief Engineer H.A. Sumneso who surveyed the Moffat Route's well-nicknamed "tunnel district" at bountiful π/1 ratio of rail to "as the crow flies" distance as he tried every trick not to make it steeper than 2%

A blasted rock bore barely 78 feet in length, tight-clearance Tunnel 29 on the Moffat Route is at milepost 36.38 and sandwiched between one of Sumneso's super-tight 12° cruves and the "curved bridge with no name" over South Bend Creek (which is officially named "Bridge 36.45" after it's milepost location) The feature on the creek's right bank seems to be locally nicknamed the Gibraltar Cliffs, from whence railfans look down on the tiny trains below.

The cutest tunnel? Yep. Did I mention the Ski Train?

Rio Grande’s ski train with newer equipment is only ten miles from Moffat Tunnel as it negotiates the narrow confines of Rollins Canyon near Rollinsville with three of owner Phillip Anschutz’s private cars on the rear on the last weekend of the season, April 6, 1991. Those cars were always available for charter to groups.

He fell a 1000 times but never complained. When we older guys went for a run, he came along. 10 kilometers. He was struggling but he never stopped. We were confident that he would stay in bed during the whole next day, but no, he was there with us for another run."

His eyes traveled up to the cliff he’d jumped from, and then down towards the water.

Jack felt his chest constrict painfully, and he looked away. His hands were shaking, he noticed. No, his whole body was.

Finally, he shook his head. He wasn’t planning on meeting Hiccup’s eyes, but when Hiccup placed his hands on his shoulders, he looked up in surprise. Hiccup’s grip was tight, and his gaze hard.

“What were you thinking?” he asked, and Jack almost recoiled at his tone. He sounded beyond shocked – he sounded almost hurt, like he was the disappointed one here.

I’m soooooo gonna regret rushing this but idc!!! Idc…

Anyways hehe hoohoo more of the northmost winds and skies art >:) I got the outfit right this time. This is the scene where Jack tries to fly off the cliff and Hiccup saves him from dying. It’s a scene I’ve been wanting to draw for a while and god god god I rushed it so bad but it’s ok 😁 I think I hate drawing detailed rocks

Sabine Wren could have gone to the Olympics, but mysteriously quit her training, causing a rift between her and her family of Olympic gold medalists. She’s made peace with what could have been and learned to enjoy winter sports for the fun and freedom, living an exciting life with a community she loves.
