Also I wish garrance was canon because it would make sense if aarmau were to get together more mid-season 1. They were both trying to get close to aphmau and as a result got close to each other too. She picks Aaron, sooo where does that leave them? Obviously neither of them are going to intrude on the relationship, but that means a lot of the time they spend with aphmau is in a purely platonic and professional fasion, whereas they can mess around with each other just as easy as they could with her and it won’t be a problem.

Laurence would probably be able to identify how he himself felt but would probably assume Garroth didn’t feel the same way, considering if Irene’s religion is at all similar to irl christianity, well uhh,,, garroth might have some problems with another man having feelings for him. Garroth would probably be confused because “hey wait a minute. Why am I looking at Laurence like I was looking at Aphmau a couple weeks ago. What does that mean.”

i literally convinced myself back in like 2018/2019 that garrance was going to happen cuz it just made SO MUCH SENSE. like for laurence and garroth’s character progression. this was mainly in the context of mystreet but it also applies to diaries. as you said they’ve grown as people past aphmau and she’s moved on from them and is able to stand on her own without their support so y’know. gays. garroth and laurence are both people who don’t really allow themselves to rely on others or at least not majorly so them feeling comfortable leaning on each other as they’ve known each other the longest and they’ve grown past their rivalry over aph is LITERALLY the next step. it would’ve been so interesting to see them personally tackle with their developing feelings for one another,, going from best friends to lovers and how scary that can be. their friendship is very important to them but romance could ruin all of that yknow? that fear. the uncertainty. the change. ughhh it would’ve been amazing

and garroth having internalised homophobia is just another rly interesting layer. even once he accepted himself maybe he would’ve felt some insecurity about never having been with a guy before and maybe he would have been worried about not treating laurence right

tbh i think lu's approach to the supernatural is 'nope nope not messing with it'. So they answer would be... everything. Not in the sense that he lives his life afraid of ghosts, but if he thinks there's a ghost in the house he's packing, bye. He won't bother being brave much less investigating. Supernatural stuff sure exists and they're better off as far away from him as possible.

So I was wondering what you think about the idea of Chase developing superpowers in an AU of your world like the rats have different moms that Douglas was in love with at different times and Adam and Brees were human but Chase’s ended up being a super powerful alien women. Idk just an idea I had because you inspired me to make my own lab rats rewrite.

favorite thing about them: This is going to sound sad but just... the way he keeps going and keeps finding ways to make himself happy despite how sad he is. He's a very sad man and I'm just glad he has a place to belong to now, it's very good. I love watching him get closer to Winter Troupe and be able to let go of his unhealthy coping mechanisms :')

least favorite thing about them: Please for the love of god Azuma when you're uncomfortable please actually say something and stop isolating yourself every time something goes wrong. I say this lovingly.
