I have seen the FNAF movie. And I have more negative things to say than positive <XD

The positive things being, MAT PAT YEAAAAHHHH- The first spook with Bonnie following the formula of the first game was THE BEST THING EVER. I'm so glad that Markiplier was fully intended to be a part of the movie. Its a bummer that he couldn't make it but its the thought that counts. <:) (He was busy working on Iron Lung and the schedules just didn't line up. He explains it all in this stream-)

Now for the negatives. Oh boy <XD Out of order- the movie wasn't nearly as scary as I expected. I was kind'a disappointed really. That 1 tense scene with Bonnie disappearing off stage was EXCELLENT but otherwise the scares were kind'a lackluster.. I feel like the scare with Foxy running down the hall needed the added sound of his thumping foot steps getting louder as they approached. Like in the game. That would have been scarier to me and would have been a call back, like Bonnie! Although I do appreciate that it was added at all. I would have been more disappointed if there wasn't a Foxy running down the hall scene <XD

Of course I wasn't a fan of the carbon copy of Vanessa being Williams daughter for obvious lore reasons. I didn't like how much the animatronics moved and how blatantly alive they were. It took away so much of the horror for me. Also how quickly Mike just.. accepted that they were ghosts?? It took like 3 minutes to convince him. I wished they had stuck with the scares and the atmosphere of the first game. It would have been a lot scarier to me that way. Also not even mentioning the missed scare of someone opening one of their stomachs and finding a dead child all disfigured and crammed inside..

Also the animatronics looked FANTASTIC, although.. considering that Freddy's has been shut down for a while. Wouldn't they be a bit more worn? Like, they're in mint condition. While the building around them is in shambles and dirty. You could say Vanessa has been keeping up the maintenance, but I still think they'd show some age.. also missed opportunity to make them scarier by making them look like the withers! Bonnie's face falling off to show a disfigured childs face behind?? Dude the missed potential!

I also don't like the inclusion if Springtrap for lore reasons. That happens later! Also WHY is the Spring Bonnie suit all worn and messed up? That happens AFTER he gets spring locked! People would still know its William/Springtrap without making the suit already worn and old- GAAHHH! I could ramble on and on about all the stupid little nit picks I have about this movie. I have been a fan for a long time and had high expectations. But that doesn't mean I should rip this movie to shreds.

I gotta stop looking at all the down sides and really focus on the things I loved. The animatronics looked amazing, they were perfect. Especially Foxy. The inclusion/intended inclusion of Mat Pat, Markiplier and Cory(?) was wonderful. And a total surprise to me! The movie wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. It definitely wasn't as bad as it could have been. And for that I am grateful.

Overall I give ittt.... mmmm, a 5-6 out of 10..? <:D

Over the span of 10 years? Yeah.. likely 100s.. :(

I kind'a imagined the mirrors as like.. pressing the walls of two timelines/AUs together and poking a hole through them. There isn't really a space in between, its like a doorway. Now that's not to say that those void spaces don't exist- I'm just saying that how I imagined Jevil mirrors to work.

Could poking those metaphorical holes in the walls of an AU be more.. literal? Could Jevil going in and out of an AU multiple times eventually harm it in someway? Who knows.. Jevil would rather not dwell on it <XD

You're right on the money pal. All of Jevils food is given to Seam. He wont eat unless Seam has eaten. He wont sleep unless Seam is already asleep. He cant sleep when he tries but still All their new clothes and blankets go right to Seam. If they're camping out in the woods? Jevil will stay awake the whole night to keep the fire going.

Its really hard for Seam to see Jevil like this. Seam tries really hard to cover up when he's uncomfortable or unwell. He tries to keep up an image and tries to reassure Jevil that he's alright. But sometimes he just cant. Sometimes he's so hungry he's doubled over in pain with tears welling in his eye. Sometimes he's aching so much that he cant move. Sometimes he's so cold he loses feeling in his hands and feet..

He cant hide it then. And he cant convince Jevil that he needs to eat too. That he needs sleep too. Its really hard for the both of them..

Thaaaat would not work for my Seam <XD

My Seam is more of an organic creature rather than a stuffed doll. Cutting off his hands would just cause him to bleed. A lot. And without a powerful Darkener that can heal, I don't know if they could be reattached-

Peach/Mario and Daisy/Luigi are like, the ONLY exceptions I can think of. Both of those pairings are like, 99% canon/heavily suggested. If not just straight up canon.

Also unlike other ships/canon stuff, I really like those two pairings. I think they're neat :}

Its hard to say who had the worse punishment. I mean, suffering is suffering. And if you asked Seam, he'd say Jevil suffered more. And if you asked Jevil he'd say Seam suffered more. I guess its a matter of what you think is worse.

Jevil was locked away for years, by his own best friend. That magical aura that used to be his only comfort was now oppressing him. He was locked away with no contact with anyone for years. Except maybe occasionally King would venture down there and beat him up. Just to make Seam upset or becuase he just felt like it.

He was alone for years. It was dark, cold, and maddening. Always on the edge of starving and living in fear everyday that King would come back and beat him up again. His best friend had betrayed him.. yet he was still scared for Seam. He was all alone up there. Who knows how the King is treating him.. it was horrible..

Then you have Seam. Forced between a rock and a hard place. He betrayed his best friend and has lived with the crushing guilt ever since. He tried to visit Jevil to apologize, to explain himself- but he was caught.

His eye was gouged out and his mouth stitched shut. His neck and wrists were bound by shackles. He did his very best to bend to the Kings will. In hopes that King would not hurt him. But it was never enough. Seam suffered constant abuse by the King for years. The shackles drained his energy but he was still required to preform for the King. Its like King was toying with him, trying to see how far he would bend before breaking.

It took Jevil disappearing from his cell to break him. Seam thought that Jevil had died. His best friend. Who he had wronged and locked away, just died. All alone in a cell that he made.

As if it couldn't get worse. King accused him of letting Jevil go. And he was going to be punished for it. With Jevil dead, and a no doubt horrible punishment awaiting him.. there was nothing left to live for.. so he tried to.. well. You know..

Thankfully Jevil showed up just in time and got them both out of there! Ahahahahh aaaa <:DDDD Yeahh,,,,

Yes! Exactly! :D I go off the idea that Undertale and Deltarune are the "original" timelines. And everyone from my AU is from some kind of offshoot of those two timelines.

The chains don't make him sick to his stomach thankfully. But they do make him weaker in every way. His immune system is weakened, so he's more vulnerable to catching viruses.

His energy is also completely sapped. He feels sore and hungry all the time. He likely deals with back and shoulder pain due to the neck shackle and having to hold up his arms all the time.. :(

As much as Asgore might want to give that wretched King a piece of his mind.. Asgore isn't a fool. If he ever encountered the King, his immediate goal would be to get himself, and the rest of the group as far away from him as possible.

He didn't mistake him for another Spade King no,, but Seam and Jevil immediately noticed his royal vibe/appearance and was rather unsettled.. :{

Grillby does eventually come around and apologize for beatin up Jevil. Jevil is quick to forgive him and states there's no hard feelings. :}

Thankfully Jevil does end up fully healing with minimal to no scarring. The burns looked pretty bad but Jevil was only held for a few seconds. Plus Darkeners probably heal differently so I'd like to say he ended up just fine :} 👍

I wasn't able to find the sketches I made of this--

But what I had in mind was DA was like this giant flat sun/moon with 2 white gloved, disembodied hands. He looks like this basically-

He is attached to the ceiling/walls and probably roams around playing music and monitoring everything. His personality is somewhat the same but he's more mellow and relaxed. He runs the arcade naturally.

I pictured DJMM looking like my Glamrock DJ but clown themed maybe? His proportions could be different and maybe his face is changed up a bit.. but overall its just DJ as a clown and he runs the daycare. His personality is mostly the same but he's more energetic.

The sad part about that is Seam isn't even that old. He's maybe in his 40-50s I imagined. He just looks so much older because all the stress and abuse has really weighed him down/aged him.. :'(((

Almost,, but no. Typically a generational gap is measured by 15-20 years. I imagined that the age gap between Seam and Jevil to be around 10-15 years or so..? So not quite intergenerational. :/

That miiiiiight make his grief worse..? I'm no expert on grief thankfully- but I imagine having a plushie that looks like your dead child miiiight stunt the healing process..?

What Grillby needs is to heal and move on from those deaths. So maybe not a plush of his child, but just a plush of something in general? Something that he can hold/hug when he needs too. If not that maybe Seam could make use of that fire proof fabric and make him some new clothes? 👀

A while ago I actually drew what I imagine true swap Vanessa to look like! :}

Short-ish blonde hair that's tied up in a ponytail, purple Bonnie sweater and maybe bowling ally friendly yellow sneakers? Bandages on the face and baggy socks, all what you'd expect.

Now for Gregory I imagined his hair is cut neat and short. Maybe he's totally clean shaven as well. He's unusually neat and spiffy.. Almost like he's trying to keep up a clean and organized image..? 👀

His backstory will probably be similar/the same as Vanessa's. And his costume will probably be based off Fredbear instead of Spring Bonnie. Not sure what his other name would be though.. 🤔

5. Just breathe (PedroPascalxReader) - one shot

The last one shot of one shots week.

Summary: Your new book didn't go down well with the critics. Reading the comments under the critic's rating you get a panic attack... Luckily, Pedro shows up.

Warnings: mentions about depression and taking medicines, panic attacks, hurt/comfort, Pedro is sweet and lovely boyfriend

"Why is Pedro dating someone so untalented?"

"Her latest book is a swamp."

"I died of boredom after five pages xD "

"I would die of embarrassment if my girlfriend wrote a story like that."

The words poured out of the monitor and hit you like needles. This was the comments section under the critic's article which rated your latest book a 2 on 8. You couldn't take your eyes off this. You knew you should have closed that page. But it was stronger than you. You didn't even notice your hands were shaking.

You didn't understand why people think they have the right to make these rude comments. They only saw your smiling picture. They saw Pedro embrace you. They saw what they thought was reality. They didn't understand that you were separated by a screen.

They didn't see the long talks you had with Pedro before you decided to be with him.

They didn't see the medicines you took every morning to keep your mind from drowning in bad thoughts.

They didn't see the sixteen hours you spent writing chapters.

They didn't see you arguing with the editors who thought there were too many queer characters in your book.

They didn't see the nights you spend comforting Pedro when he missed his mom.

And they didn't see you now when you were starting to lose your breath. As you felt your chest begin to tighten. You hated that feeling like you were suffocating, and no matter how deep you took your breaths, there was still not enough oxygen. Your vision went dark and you fell to the floor. You were terrified. It felt like hundreds of hands were coming out of your laptop screen and trying to touch you. You pulled your knees into your chest as much as you could, though it only made it harder to breathe. It was an anxiety attack, you knew it, but it didn't make things any easier.

You didn't even know when big, strong hands were on your shoulders. You immediately recognized who they belonged to. You opened your eyes to meet his warm brown eyes, with worry in them. Pedro began to stroke your arms rhythmically. He knew it would ground you. One look at your laptop gave him a clue as to what happened.

"Y/N, they won't hurt you." He let go of you for a moment to close your laptop and quickly came back to you. "They're not here. Breathe with me. Breathe in through your nose, hold it, and let it out through your mouth. Okay." A gentle smile appeared on his face. "That's right, baby. One more time. Deep breath, hold, and exhale."

His soothing voice and the warmth of his hands made your chest slowly relax. You were finally able to breathe, but then tears came. Pedro changed position and sat down next to you. He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you to him.

"I'm sorry," you whispered.

He immediately hugged you tighter and grabbed your hand with his other hand. "Hey, don't apologize. Never apologize for a panic attack."

"I'm sorry I let you down," you mumbled as more tears left your eyes.

Pedro gently grabbed your chin and made you look at him. "What are you talking about?"

"My latest book was going to be a bestseller."

Pedro shook his head and kissed the top of your head. "If the movie I'm in turns out to be a disaster, will you be disappointed in me?"

"It's not the same" you groaned. "You're not the director, you're not the writer, you're not the cameraman... You're not responsible for the entire film."

"But there will always be a critic who will write that my acting has ruined everything."

"I know you always put your whole heart into your acting."

"And I know you put your whole heart into this book. And a lot of people like it. I love it! Are you going to tell all of us that we're not allowed to like it?" You smiled slightly and rested your head on his chest. "You get so many messages from people saying your book helped them. Don't forget that."

You nodded and began to draw undefined patterns on his chest with your fingers. His hand stroked your back up and down. You sat in pleasant silence for a while, and you felt safe again.

"I bet fame is always bittersweet," you muttered.

"Unfortunately," he replied sadly.

"Would you rather be a little-known actor?"

"Sometimes. You know, I like that now I don't have to worry about bills and that I can lend money to someone and not the other way around, but... I hate the paparazzi. I hate people who think they can judge me. And judge the ones I love." He rested his head on yours. "And you? Would you rather be a little-known writer?"

"I don't know. There have always been people who didn't like what I write. And I used to dream that someone would make a series out of my book, and now... Now I hate it when people judge the actors who play my characters. But..." You squeezed his hand tighter. "I would never have met you."

"I told you everything has its ups and downs."

You sighed heavily, and then something came to your mind. "Aren't you supposed to be at the gym?"

"I forgot my shorts," he muttered.

You rolled your eyes and gasped, "I told you they were in the dryer."

"I know," he groaned.

You started laughing and just went back to your usual life like that, but your laptop was locked for the rest of the day. Just in case.

It's been a while since I have shared these. A lot of videos have piled up. Unfortunately, my phone ran out of memory space while I was recording #73 so it just saved 15 minutes of the whole thing T_T Part 2 of #72 is also very out of sync, I'm sorry T_T

Missed the first couple of minutes of #76 but oh wow, I really loved this live. We never see her eat this much, it was a lot of fun just watching her go through the different dishes. The tamagoyaki looked weird but the chicken and pork-shabu salad looked super yummy! LOL at Keiko for going on and on about the excessive amounts of "grass" in her salad. I found it quite interesting when she talked about her old Kalafina image and her image as solo artist. Someone mentions they find it strange that Keiko takes such a long time to eat her dinner despite having the image of a person who is always in a hurry. Keiko agrees that when it comes to her work, she tends to do everything at a very fast pace but in her free time, she likes to take things slowly. She also explains that now that she is a solo artist, she is generally more laid back and more open to share parts of herself that she wouldn't have shared in the past. During the Kalafina days, she took things very seriously, her work-mode was always on, it was basically a constant hustle for her to meet the demands (especially when looking up to Yuki Kajiura). She emphasises though that it was always her choice and that she wouldn't have had it any other way. It's a good thing that she mentions this because lots of fans tend to read a bit too much into everything and come up with all sorts of horror- stories of Keiko slaving away due to the horrible management. I don't think that was ever the case. Keiko is just an incredibly disciplined individual.

There is another very noteworthy part where Keiko talks about not really being accustomed to other people sneaking up on her to cuddle her so she will typically act a bit surprised when that happens. She does a flawless impersonation of Wakana who used to tell Keiko all the time that she found it kind of weird how Keiko would have no issue snuggling up to her but whenever Wakana tried to initiate something, Keiko would startle. She is just like a cat, she likes cuddling but only on her own terms XD

I wonder how Gaon and Yohan are going to explain the change in their interactions to Elijah, since it's going to be obvious to her that something has happened between them. Since Elijah knows that there's nothing between Gaon and Soo hyun, I wonder if she will play a role in clearing Yohan's misconception? Thanks for the update! I can't stop thinking how many ways this story can play out😅 Btw i really appreciate the time and effort you put into responding to our questions with such detail.

That definitely depends on who's doing the explaining xD Yo Han would just brush it off and pretend that nothing is happening — which would just piss her off — while Ga On would make a stilted effort to explain without making it too obvious what it's actually about. Which would also annoy her.

That poor girl, seriously. She doesn't deserve to get caught between these two idiots.

I'm not sure I agree that Elijah "knows" that there was nothing between Ga On and Soo Hyun, though. I think she very much thinks there was something between them. I mean, sure, they denied it when she asked if they were dating, but THE WAY they did so was pretty telling (especially in Soo Hyun's case). Even more so since Elijah is a bit... well, innocent? I think most of her experience with love comes from media, books etc. and how Ga On and Soo Hyun behaved is, well, straight from a drama xD

And Elijah also had that talk with Soo Hyun when they were eating ice cream on Ga On's terrace, where it became pretty obvious that Soo Hyun is in love with Ga On and has already confessed to him several times.

So I think Elijah very much believes they were in love. Which means she won't really play a role in convincing Yo Han otherwise — if asked, she'd probably only make it worse, even. Because her understanding of love is a bit superficial and probably pretty geared towards straightness. That's not to say that she's not aware of gay people (I think she might actually know more about that than Ga On does xD) but from the evidence she's seen both Ga On and Yo Han seem straight to her (because I can't imagine that Yo Han has flaunted his dalliances with other men in front of her).

I know I'm very, very firm about this but Elijah doesn't know that Yo Han and Ga On have the hots for each other. And not because she's stupid, but because she's grown up in a country where straightness is the norm and Yo Han has done everything he can to hide the depth of his and Ga On's relationship from her. Also, she's a self-centred teenager x'D

Like, take me for an example. I was around 23-24 and very comfortable in my own pansexuality but was still IN NO WAY PREPARED when my mum basically went: "I may only have had sex with two women in my life but, let me tell you — 10/10, would recommend." Because I had only ever seen her date and talk about men before and therefore assumed she had no interest in anything else. That's how easy it is to miss that someone close to you isn't entirely straight — especially if it's a parent/guardian.

So I really don't think that Elijah would notice until it gets a lot more obvious than this xD

Which wasn't technically what your ask was about (sorry for the tangent xD), but still important to know because Elijah really won't be all that helpful when it comes to Yo Han and Ga On figuring out their feelings for each other. In fact, she might just end up making things harder for them without meaning to. But more about that in later chapters ;)

ANYWAY. Thank you so much for the lovely ask! I'm so happy to hear that people are this excited and involved in my story! And, tbh, I can't help replying because I'm very excited, too, and love talking about my writing, my thoughts, and my takes on these characters. How could I resist? More often than not, I have to cut my answers short because I keep writing longer and longer ones.

Like, you guys have no idea how long the first drafts of my author's notes usually are. One time I had to cut half of it because it was reaching truly spectacular lengths. And sure, I know that some of you probably wouldn't complain if I had posted that first draft, but I'm trying to contain myself, okay? And also not reveal too much since it might end up spoiling future plot points. It's a constant struggle.

I am one of your new followers who stumbled onto your blog thanks to your metas for Love for Love's Sake. Thank you so much for them, the cultural and linguistic explanations add another layer to already well crafted show and I would definitely be sorry to miss them.

Talking of cultural differences, there is a thing I noticed in several kdramas and always wanted to find its meaning and didn't know who to ask. Maybe you would know?

When characters are drinking (alcohol) together, after toasting one another, they turn sideways to drink. Is there a cultural reason or meaning to this turn? Where I am from (Europe), we just chug it facing each other, no turning away.

Hey! You're very welcome (I am also so happy to meet so many new people who are interested in discussing shows and Korean language/culture after Love for Love's Sake), and yes, I absolutely do know what you're talking about!!

Turning away after toasting to drink is truly a cultural thing! It has a lot to do with social & age hierarchy that is very crucial to Korean culture (or tbh, to many Asian countries). At the table you follow some specific rules, for example:

the youngest participant is usually setting the table, grilling the meat and pouring everyone's drinks

if you're drinking with someone older/higher than you, you turn away to drink (which is what you asked about, only the younger ones do it! out of politeness!)

to be polite, you hold the glass/bottle with two hands (or one hand supports your other arm); this is also very typical in grocery stores or anywhere where you need to give someone your bank card/cash/etc

the oldest one usually says toasts (like, the final one, but it depends on the gathering tbh)

Koreans also have a fascinating culture for company drinking and drinking games, I'll just show you a good video that talks about all these cultural differences during drinking, I think you'll find this video interesting! (the drinking starts in the second half of the video)

If you haven't watched Korean Englishman videos, I highly recommend you to! They are really great for showing all those interesting details (and they are also from Europe so you might feel relatable with their reactions :D)

Tbh, if you're a foreigner and come to Korea to drink with students, like I did, no one would be scandalized or offended if you don't follow these rules but it's very interesting to exchange your drinking culture internationally and try out new things because Koreans are fascinated when you know some small things that are ingrained in their culture.

Fun fact, my drinking culture (Russian) sometimes clashes with Korean because they pour alcohol to each other mid-air and we shouldn't ever do it :D Also out of habit, I made all my Korean and foreign friends say reasons/speeches for toasts every time we drank because this is what I'm used to and they found it fun xD

What does the word fae actually, specifically, mean in the marriage of the state AU? Because they’re not really a species, with faeries, elves, gnomes, and the deep folk all being fae/fae adjacent. Plus there doesn’t seem to be any fairy realm/feywild present in the AU, just the spring at most.

So like from a crystal cliffs, scientific perspective, what are they, what characterizes them, where do they come from?

Are faeries really animals at all or more creeperish (based on your creeper lore) or something else entirely? Can there be half faeries, with either elves or humans?

You’ve mentioned before they sort of dissolve when they die, so are they even totally physical, made of bones and fat and such?

What’s the deal with elves being half-fae, is there a biological-ish connection or decendantcy to/from faeries there? With half elves existing for sure, (hi gem) did humans and elves both from a common ancestor, or did one come from the other? Did the separation happen naturally, or was it like hybrids with the meddling of magic or spirits? (Or Aeor?) Are they maybe just totally unconnected, and being similar enough to have half elves just a handwavey/magic thing?

I love really getting into how fantasy world work and they’re history, so all of your Worldbuilding stuff has such a great hold over me, I love how deep you think into the day to day. I think that was the first period in this whole ask, lol. Sending a huge wall of vaguely related questions seems to be becoming a habit. Anyway, have a great day!

Hello! Sorry for the delay, IRL things kept happening!

And buckle up a bit because this is the one where the fact that I'm a massive Tolkien nerd really shows through, we're pulling heavily from the Silmarillion for this one. (Smajor did it first it is part of the canonical lore)

Also I have spent a long time (Since I was like, four years old. I was an extremely normal child and not autistic at all.) with a lot of versions and types of fairy tales, so I do sometimes forget exactly what knowledge of The Rules of the Genre people tend to be familiar with, so if something seems to be missing a few steps in the explanations please ask about it and I will do my best. Sometimes that might just be me pointing and being like "but that's the way it works" but I can try anyway XD

Basically, "Fae/Fae Adjacent" is both referring to a specific race, and is also the shorthand that I use to classify the Races That Came First. In Tolkien's work, you have the elves, who woke up an age before the first men. And by the time humanity even existed they'd had like, two wars and a massive migration. They are part of, I believe, the Second Theme of the Great Music, while men are part of the Third.

So when I say someone or a species is fae or kind of fae or any variation of that, it means that they are part of one of the races who have been on the Empires world longer, (several thousand years longer than the mortals) and share some of the characteristics of those races. (With one notable exception that I will get to)

These characteristics are mostly limited to longevity, of different flavors, and inherent abilities that would be classed as magical by mortals but that are usually very understated along the lines of having an exceptionally green thumb. I think I've said it in a previous post somewhere, maybe the Wool one, but Xornoth and Scott's elemental abilities are Very Unusual among elves and are a strong indication of the Divine meddling in their lives.

The Fae/Faeries who inhabit the Overgrown and are connected to the Spring, are the eldest surface-dwelling beings, and are the Actual Fae. They are most closely related to the Deep Folk, they just separated very early on and, as a species, they are incredibly responsive to environmental requirements and divergent evolution happened very quickly.

Fae are fully sentient. They are people, not animals, just Uncanny People.

The Overgrown and specifically the Spring's Grotto are a kind of Feywild. In that they are very heavily magical and tend to be difficult or impossible to find or navigate to anyone they don't want to be, and mortals in general. They don't tend to take up exactly the right amount of physical space they should. It's also kind of unclear if the fae have more of an influence over the environment or if it has an influence over them. (It's a little bit of both.) They tend to have a lot of variance, as individuals, though butterfly traits and cat traits are both fairly common, and Katherine specifically has both of those. These are less because of connections to said species and more environmental responses.

Some parts of the Overgrown are deliberately kept to be at least a little bit less hostile to visitors, mostly for diplomatic purposes, though visitors are rare for good reason.

(The other rulers, who tend to run in and out of Katherine's house with impunity, are something of an exception to this, and most of them have some level of magical connection to something or other that gives them at least a little bit of resistance or immunity to the surroundings. The primary exception to this is Fwhip, who has had to be extracted from Situations more than once by Gem or Katherine.)

There are also other Fae, besides the inhabitants of the Overgrown, the other three courts just have left. Whether that is just the geographical region or the specific plane of existence is fairly unclear. The Overgrown is home to the Spring Court, who are...not fully seelie or unseelie, though they tend towards seelie. (This does not mean they are truly friendly, or that they aren't dangerous)

Elves are younger than the Fae proper, though not by much. There used to be a lot more of them, covering the entire mountain range that Rivendell is only part of (this is totally not plot relevant at all :) ) and also some of what is now the edges of the Crystal Cliffs, the Grimlands, and the Spawn Lands. (Which would later become the place the first mortals woke up, thus its name and also status as a neutral location used for most meetings between empires.)

There were a few different peoples among the elves, though they have since been whittled down to two main surviving demographics, though the occasional traits do pop up from others from time to time. Both of these are mountain people, and are the ones that I shorthand as "owl elves" and "deer elves" or "mountaintop" and "lowlands and valleys" respectively, though these are simplifications and not entirely accurate tbh. They have two different, though related, languages. Xornoth and Scott are a mixture of both, which, while not super common in Rivendell, isn't unheard of either. Thus their wings and antlers combo.

Like the Fae, Elves as a species are fairly closely tied to and responsive to their environment, which is why despite the antlers and/or wings, they have a not undeserved reputation for stealth. (as opposed to the Fae, who do sometimes literally become part of the environment, Elves are just very good at blending into it.)

The Deep Folk, after they split off from the Fae and migrated under the surface, also evolved into a few different branches. Sirens are the one most well known to surface-dwellers, though there are few individuals left who can claim to be a full siren.

The Deep Folk intermingled with their mortal counterparts more than the land-based fae peoples, and so while the Sea Folk are for the most part mortal, some of them tend to be a little bit uncanny or have exceptionally long life-spans. This is incredibly normalized for them and the much stronger segregation between land fae and land mortals was a bit off-putting for a lot of the Sea Folk when they began interacting.

the Gnomes actually are not technically fae specifically because they are not native to this reality.

Shrub's description of her people and their own nature combined meant that she got classed as a fae race because she had enough in common, but she's not quite fae or mortal. The rules of their home dimension are a bit to the left of this worlds. The decision was mostly made based off of the depth of the connection that gnomes have with their environment, though as a rule they aren't especially long-lived or otherwise magical.

So Shrub isn't Fae, but they aren't Mortal either.

Allays and Vexes are about the same level of sentience as creepers. just less explosive. They grow from magic the same way creepers grow from the land. They're actually the same species, just different varieties.

The different Rates of Decay, for lack of a better phrasing have to do with the level of influence and connection to the environment. Also like, if Katherine, for example, were to die in the Spring Grotto, her body would basically disappear instantly; vs if she were to die in the End or the Nether, which are separate planes that are completely foreign to her Nature, her body would be perfectly preserved until it was returned to the Overworld. Even if it was thrown into the Void or the Lava Sea.

I think that answered most of the points? I would apologize for how long this is but I have a feeling you don't mind XD

This turned into an extremely long list of facts and ideas oops

Cosmos is staff, so he wouldn't really be in any events poor guy 😔. However, I do see him joining Trein to keep an eye on students during Glomas. Though his worry is split between the students and Trein (since Trein is quite old fhathrytu)

Finn:

•Glomas 100%

•I also want to send him to Deuce's hometown event for the sole reason of seeing him in a bright bunny costume with that resting bitch face of his, but I think he'd go to Epel's hometown event in stead (he's eating Jade under the table by trying every possible food twice ove).

•Finn would adore going to the Scalding Sands and learning about its culture. He does struggle with the heat (Malleus was very concerned) but he simply carries on and keeps trying whatever food and music he can. He misses his partners, though, and makes sure to bring back souvenirs.

•Finn in the Ghost Bride event helps Riddle, Epel and the rest, aand if he tried the proposal thing? Slapped real fast if not for his height then for his chubbiness (I believe Eliza is meant to represent unrealistic standards?) and his general creepy aura

•He plays a huge part in spectral soiree since two of his partners got taken and... well... when they cross into the mirror, everyone can see the ghosts.

•Finn is in Vargas Camp 2 with Malleus and they both absolutely dominate lmao

•I can't really decide what side Finn is on for Beans Fest, but I think Monster team suits him well, though he wants to sit with Jade in the freezer.

•Beach event beach event beach event. He's stressed tf out, but mostly glad Azul and Floyd are there (and looking very handsome dear Sea Witch someone hold him steady)

Nkulu:

*Playful Land, I can definitely see him getting all excited over the shiny looking ticket (and sad when Riddle gets mad gifjf)

•Nkulu struggling to fit into an outfit for Deuce's hometown event is a really funny image to me. He keeps protesting and saying he'll just do makeup and bunny ears, or else it'll all rip. However, Dilla (??) Is a single mom. She can figure it out ;)

•I think he'd be well suited to Wish Upon A Star As Well, he'd got all happy over everyone's wishes (and probably livestream the whole thing.

•Nkulu has a ton of fun in the first Halloween event, scaring off Magicam monsters (and reminding his own followers not to be assholes lmao)

•Nkulu is in Vargas Camp 1 and really enjoys the experience. He does get quite annoyed at Vargas, though, lmao.

•Nkulu would be a farmer for Beans Fest and have waaaat too much fun shooting beans at people, lmao

•I can also see Nkulu at the beach event, handling it a lot better than Finn XD. Wow, they're in a lot of events together...

Glamrock Freddy is already enough of a dad so you just acting like a mother to not him but everyone else as well has him hyped. Y'all a couple already. Although he wishes you don't do that with everyone cuz he gets greedy... And someone usually ends up dead.

Original Bonnie isn't much for the motherly aspect as he is for the affection that comes with it. Sure he'd like to pretend he's at the top of everything but when you start kissing him he melts- and he boasts about it too. Like "My Darling loves me so much they blah blah blah" Foxy is tired from listening to him.

Withered Chica is tired. So to have someone fret over her, make her feel better and spoil her is a dream come true, she usually gets shy when you praise her but also loves them a lot. Follows you around, probably worried you'll attract attention from unimportant and weird people so she's there to protect you!

Toy Bonnie loves getting praise and affection from you. What he also lowkey loves is having you scold him when he fights too much and gets hurt/a victim somehow harms him in the process because he knows you do it out of worry. Probably acts even more like a spoiled brat. Follows you around to hear you praise him more.

Lolbit just enjoys you acknowledging his existence, so to have you go all affectionate and spoiling on him? This bot gonna start swooning. Careful tho, you do this too much and he immediately gonna eliminate all things he finds as a threat because nobody deserves that kind of treatment for you- not even him. But he loves you so much so it's okay.

Glamrock Chica just loves the how you're always there for her to treat her so nicely. Gonna start acting like an angel just so you can praise her more, especially loves your patience when you explain something to her. You have competition about who kisses the most. You bet she instead manipulates you into hating people she doesn't like instead.

Lowkey honorable mentions are any Foxy cuz they just enjoy the affection together with Toy Freddy considering he adores how much you'll kiss him. And I definitely see platonic Gregory joining in.

Lemme tell you smth: Mikey, Izana, Sanzu, Kazutora, Chifuyu, Rindou, Hakkai/Angry.

Mikey, bro MIKEY. Especially Toman and Bonten Mikey. Those two mf love to be spoiled and be taken care of. Mikey always clings to you and all but demands affection most of the time. Hugging you 24/7 as you walk. Kisses are a must. You miss giving him a kiss in a specific time and he gets all pouty = people who breath wrong gonna die. Just gets even more obsessive and violent towards others, lowkey scared you'll stop paying attention to him if you have anyone else.

Izana isn't as much about the motherly stuff as he is about the affection that comes with it. But here's the thing; once you start you are not allowed to stop. Demanding your attention and praise 24/7. Will do something and immediately turn to you so you can sing your praises. Definitely the boyfriend who would be the small spoon when you're like this then act tough if someone enters. Kicks anyone who tries getting close to you- literally, he kicks them.

Sanzu, man- the second someone who spoils him and takes care of him enters man is down for the count. Acts all tough but the second you call him over he goes to you with the utmost attention. Hoping you called over to give him praise and compliments. Another one who'd follow you around until you give him the attention he wants for the day. The second he catches someone looking at you it's on sight.

Kazutora this is a desperate man, as soon as you show just a little interest and attention on him he latches like a leech. But then you don't seem to mind? You hug him?? You even tell him he does a good job??? Kisses???? Confused boy. Then he gives in and is a koala. Probably the one who goes out of his way to beat up random people who just asked you for direction cuz he's that unstable.

Chifuyu might seem like the one who wants to spoil you but boy if you start spoiling him instead he's a puddle on the floor. Always holding your hand and hugging your arm. Gonna act like a good behaved kid just so you kiss him more. The second someone else gets your attention tho he's probably planning methods to ruin them. Only he should have your attention.

Rindou is a little brother. You bet your ass if you suddenly start taking responsibility and treating him like this he will get down on his knees and ask for marriage. Gonna act spoiled and expects you to spoil him of course. Will always request stuff and when he does something he expects praise. Still you're the only one who get to see this cute needy side of him, anyone who as much as talks to you is being beaten on the floor by him in seconds.

Hakkai and Angry are another pair of little brothers and they're lowkey the same. Though Hakkai lowkey expects to be spoiled most of the time- but when you actually DO IT he's left speechless. Gets shy and probably doesn't talk, only holding onto your hand as you walk. While Angry would do that regardless, but is probably more clingy. They're a little tamer than Rindou but will ask about stuff they can do so you will end up praising them. You know Hakkai's rich right? Gonna blackmail everyone to stay away from him- gonna beat them up too. While Angry had a menace of a brother who'd enable him to fuck up anyone who makes him upset.

Honorable mentions: Senju cuz she adores the affection, Yuzuha cuz she loves how someone is taking care of her and Shion because you put up with his shenanigans... Any little sibling honestly fits this category.

As someone who uses they/them but is not out to their parents - if you're doing as they ask in front of their parents, consistently and without question, then you're doing the right thing. That's one of the biggest sources of stress, for me - that someone who knows will out me by accident before I'm ready to have that conversation. You stop misgendering them in front of their parents only when they tell you to stop - forget what surgery they have or haven't had, forget what hormone therapy they're on. They'll make that call when they're ready, when it's time, and your role here is to follow their lead.

The non-parent relatives are the same. If in doubt, ask what someone knows before you head into a situation. If they're anything like me, they'll appreciate that you're aware of the stakes. Knowing that you're being careful about it will probably be a weight off their mind.

In terms of things you can do - obviously, gender them correctly to their face. If you slip up, apologise and correct yourself - doesn't need to be a big thing, just acknowledge it in the same sentence and move on. Practice when they aren't around. Make it clear you're a safe space. Make it clear you're trying, that you value this trust they've offered.

Genuinely, though, it sounds so simple but the most affirming thing you can do is use the right pronouns without question or hesitation. I came out to my best friend of nearly 20 years this spring. Her response was basically, "I was wondering when you were going to figure that out," and she switched immediately. That change is like when there's roadworks outside your house and they have been jackhammering for hours and suddenly it stops. It's a joy and it's a relief.

If you're not sure, ask. Just make it clear when you ask that it's coming from a place of 'I want to make sure I am doing what makes you most comfortable' rather than a request for explanation or justification.

All this said. You sound like you're doing good. The fact that they have told you says you are doing something right. The fact that you're worried about how best to support them says you're doing something right. Keep doing what you're doing. You love them, you sound like you are treating them with care, and it sounds like they can tell.

For those who missed it, a while back I asked for advice on how to navigate trying to support transmasc young people (two in my family) with unsupportive parents, when the parents are my age or my peers and I'm often in company with all of them.

I also had a lot of anxiety about bringing up the issues of pronouns because I didn't want to pile on to the stress they were under by making it weird.

But I did take your advice. All of this advice. And with the person who uses he/they, I got the courage to just ask, and just outright said that I was asking because I wanted them to be comfortable and happy, not because I was looking for justification.

He thanked me for asking and when we hung out next (I took him out for a birthday celebration with my son and gf-my son's gf), I just made sure to use the right pronouns.

I think it all went well because I then got a request through my son to help connect him to trans resources. We live in a tiny conservative town and it is suffocating here for me, so I can only imagine for the younger queer folks.

So I was encouraged to be given something tangible I could do to help. My strength is research and networking for sure. I'm often the family extrovert brought in when these things are needed and I like feeling like my skills are needed XD I found a bunch of stuff (local support groups, trans friendly churches, trans friendly therapists, etc etc) and forwarded it.

So, I think these are all good signs and I thank you (and everyone else who answered) for helping give me things to think about and how to approach the issue.

I'm a big worrier and the thing I worry most about is probably looking after the young people in my life. I went through so much shit as a kid that it makes me hyper aware and it always makes me feel better if I know I can help in any way.

That could be an interpretation of it yeah :00 but to be totally honest, I haven't thought it all through yet..

The intention behind that comic is its showing that Eddie used to be a human. And now he's.. well. He's Eddie.

The comic was trying to show that there was someone he used to know when he was human. His sister? His mother? Someone.. He knew someone. And now that he's in the neighborhood.. she's gone. What happened to her? Who was she? Why do I miss her so much?.. Why.. am I crying? Why am I shaking?

I think the 3 of them are no strangers to bloody scenes, but that wouldn't make seeing their Octokids so hurt any easier.. <:(( Now I'm not much of a writer, and idk if this is the kind of response you were expecting.. but none the less you have inspired me! :}}

I can see them offering their services if needed, but mostly just staying out of Peso's way and letting him do his thing. when everything winds down and they're able to see each other.. it would be tough. :((

Kwazii would be in high spirits as always despite the injuries. He would proudly tell Calico Jack about how he was bravely able to fend off multiple sharks! He expected a lot of enthusiasm from his Grandad.. "..Y-Ye did great Kwazii, ye protected yer crew well. I'm real proud of ya for that.." Instead he got a more.. somber response.

With the time Kwazii has spent with the Octonauts, he's gotten a lot better at reading people. Its not hard to tell when someone is shaken. His ears are pinned back, his tail is puffed up and flicking back and fourth.. its clear that Jack isn't taking this sight well.

Kwazii would probably sit up straighter. "Hey,, Grandad I'm.. I'm alright, ye don't need to worry." He'd gently grab Jacks arm, getting his attention. "I'll be alright, this isn't a big deal! Really, I'm ok! It looks a lot worse than it actually is."

Jack might take a deep breath and nod "..I know. I know you'll be alright, lad.." His ears were still pinned back. Kwazii frowns. "..I'm alright now Grandad. This is small, trust me.." Jack would pause.. but then nod. Seeing Kwazii so beaten is hard for Jack to stomach. But Kwazii is one tough cookie.. Just like him. He knows that things will be ok. Kwazii will be ok.. They're both ok..

When Marsh came in to see Tweak, he almost lost his composure. He knows Tweak is tough. And she's gotten hurt a lot growin up, this ain't nothin she cant handle. But gosh, this hurts. That's his little girl. It hurts so much to see her like this. She's collapsed in medbay, and has her leg all bound up in a cast.

"Pa! Heh, uh- sorry about all this. You an I were supposed to go out swimmin after that mission. I guess uh.. it'll have to wait.. heh.."

A deep breath, "Now don't chu worry bout none of that," He sat down beside her bed and pat her on the shoulder. "You just put all yer energy into gettin better. Ok? We can always go see the reef another time." His droopy ears and shaky voice wasn't helping his tough façade..

Tweaks pauses for a moment. But then offers her hand to Marsh. He takes it, confused at first.

"..I'm sorry I scared you pa.. I'll be ok.."

...Unable to reply, Marsh just nods. He sighs and wipes his tears away. Gripping Tweaks hand tighter. He sniffles, and just nods..

Natquik's meeting with Barnacles went a little smoother than the others. He is no stranger to the sight of blood. And knowing that Barnacles is tough as nails, he wasn't too worried about him.. but still. Seeing Barnacles in such a state.. it wasn't easy.

When Natquik came in, he placed a gentle paw on the bears shoulder. "Barnacles, how do you feel? Are your wounds bad..?" Barnacles' voice was gravelly and slow. He had a nasty headache after that facial injury.. "..Oh.. I'll be alright.. its nothing I.. cant recover from.."

Natquik pulls up a stool and sits beside him. "You gave me a big scare, you know. You must not do that to me! No more dangerous missions for you!" He said wagging his finger.

Barnacles chuckled. "That wasn't meant to.. be a dangerous mission. Things just.. got out of hand." Natquik nods. "Yes yes, I can see.." His tone seemed off at the end there..

"..Are you alright, Professor?" It takes Natquik a second to respond.. Seeming to think over his words. "Don't worry for me, Barnacles. I am better now that I have seen you. And you will heal fine, yes? So all is ok." His hesitation wasn't reassuring.. But he knows how Natquik is. So doesn't push it further. "Yes, despite the scene we caused.. most of these injuries are minor. We'll be.. alright." Natquik puts on a smile that cant truly be read. "That is all that matters, my friend."

Liverpool 2023 Eurovision Grand Final Thoughts

1. Austria 🇦🇹 - Teya & Salena - Who the Hell Is Edgar? - Ok, I knew they were gonna do worse than projected on the odds but I still thought they were better than in the Semi Final and that the televote would carry them a bit harder but it seems not. The fact that the jury hard carried them more than the public is outrageous tbh.

2. Portugal 🇵🇹 - Mimicat - Ai coração - Oof, not bottom five, come on! She was amazing but I guess the running order screwed her over a bit.

3. Switzerland 🇨🇭 - Remo Forrer - Watergun - Yeah about what I expected.

4. Poland 🇵🇱 - Blanka - Solo - Blanka coming EIGHTH on the televote was kind of a power move, I'm sorry. I guess crying about her too much on the internet and memeing her pronunciation of BEJBAH to hell and back worked wonders for her lmao.

5. Serbia 🇷🇸 - Luke Black - Samo mi se spava - Nooo Luke...! Overall yes, it wasn't as impactful as the semi final but I think Luke's act is "too much" for some people on first watch so maybe those who never watched the semis or any performances or listened to the song before the Final were taken aback by it. A pity.

6. France 🇫🇷 - La Zarra - Évidemment - Whooo girl... Listen, her staging was a MESS and I think that maybe her fearing for her life affected her vocals a bit. She was arguably much better than the semi final jury show but it seems it still wasn't enough. I wasn't as mesmerized by her as I hoped it would be. Song-wise, Évidemment is still among my favourites of the year but performance-wise it wasn't as show-stopping.

7. Cyprus 🇨🇾 - Andrew Lambrou - Break a Broken Heart - Okay, king and his gun show did it honestly. I feared he would get a lot more screwed over by Remo but he prevailed and I'm glad! He almost made tenth spot on the televoting, Albina and her Familja beat him by just one point, and on the juries he was behind Brunette by just one point too! Literally if our (Greece's) jury wasn't screwing around he would have made the final top ten! I don't understand the reasoning but this screams "we didn't make it so we're gonna screw over Cyprus too since they're not winning anyway" or that we tried to show Europe that we don't always give 12 points to Cyprus xD

8. Spain 🇪🇸 - Blanca Paloma - Eaea - Guys. Guys. Be very serious, what the hell happened here??? Yes, there was a very big chance the televoting woul not like her performance; this is a very unique and "out there" perfroamce which, like Luke's, possibly even more so, on first look can be unsettling, in a way. Ever since she won Benidorm, people across Europe were literally either ranking her in their top three favourites or their worst five of the entire year, out of all 37 entries! There was no middle ground with Eaea, I just hoped the ones who loved it would overpower those who didn't. But the juries??? What the hell??? She didn't miss a single note, she was ON POINT the entire time. Her performance was artistic and she definitely sang better than Loreen but, ESPECIALLY Noa! I know the juries punish any cultural elements but was the flamenco style so appalling to them??? This was the biggest crime of the year, honestly.

9. Sweden 🇸🇪 - Loreen - Tattoo - I don't wanna hear any complaints. Her song is radio friendly but it's not basic. We knew she was gonna win the juries, we knew it since day one, and we knew she was probably gonna win the whole thing, unless someone placed second on both the juries and the televoting and ended up overtaking both her and Käärijä but that didn't happen (it should have been Spain) so her win was guaranteed. She did sing better in the semi, and her staging I feel was not as interesting as Euphoria, but this is still very much a deserved win. Stop crying. She's the first woman to win the Contest twice and the second person ever, in general. Don't delude yourself into thinking no one will remember her or shit like that I keep seeing posted on this terminally online community, she is a legend. Go outside, breathe some fresh air and use your one (1) remaining brain cell for once.

10. Albania 🇦🇱 - Albina and Familja Kelmendi - Duje - The Albanian Kardashians coming TENTH on the televote was this year's biggest surprise! Yes, it was pretty close so, just as easily as they came 10th they could have just as easily come 15th if a few countries had given them one or two points less. But what matters is that the televoting resonated with a strong Balkan and ethnic sound and identity and I wish the rest of the Balkans like Greece or Serbia would maybe reconsider incorporating their own local flavour again. I don't care what language they sing in, someone should cut the "Don't sing in English" crowd's access to the internet, permanently, but in terms of overall sound and identity I wish to see more of it, from everyone, not just the Balkans.

11. Italy 🇮🇹 - Marco Mengoni - Due vite - I get the jury votes, he had possibly the best vocal performance last night, or at least among the best, but I was surprised by his televote score?? He got a LOT of points, all of the first seven acts on the televote ranking (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Israel, Italy & Croatia) did, it wasn't just that he happened to land on that spot because all the acts above him got all the points, like it is the case with the rest of the scoreboard below Croatia. A lot of people said Tattoo is Euphoria 2.0, but I think this is a lot more applicable in Marco's case. The song is literally the same as L'essenziale, and neither of these songs are particularly interesting so I don't see how he did as good as he did. And don't mistake this for me disliking his act, Marco did perform great and I do like the song but, for a TV show contest this was way too bland, sorry.

12. Estonia 🇪🇪 - Alika - Bridges - See here? This makes sense. Alika gave an amazing performance, she sounded even better than the semi, and she was exclusively carried by the juries, the public only gave her 22pts. Good for her, she deserved it though, again this is not me dismissing the sad slow acts but they are not as exciting for a TV show, and Eurovision is not The Voice, it is a TV show.

13. Finland 🇫🇮 - Käärijä - Cha Cha Cha - Käärijä got fan favourite, as he was expected to, but no this had no chances of winning. Ever. He still did overwhelmingly well, he got a 60% average overall score, which is great, and he will be forever be remebered as a legendary act. That is enough, that's what this particular performance was meant to achieve. You can all chill, or rather, you should all chill. The juries were even way too kind on him. Fourth with shaky vocals like that and an overall very unhinged song and performance, is much better than expected. I thought they were gonna go Moldova 2022 on him. But they didn't, but also, to be fair on him, his vocal performance was considerably better than the semi.

14. Czechia 🇨🇿 - Vesna - My Sister's Crown - YES girls! They made it to the top ten. I'm so happy for them.

15. Australia 🇦🇺 - Voyager - Promise - I don't know why this did as well as it did? I'm not mad, I'm just surprised, they apparently even won their semi final too! What's, again, very surprising, is that they got actually hard carried by the juries... The public only gave them 21 points. See why the juries are necessary my dear idiots? Supposed fan favourites Voyager got 130 points from the evil juries but only 21 from the public.

16. Belgium 🇧🇪 - Gustaph - Because of You - YES Gustaph, YES! So happy for him making the top ten. I liked his song since day one, but I only fell in love with his performance last night. Bravo king.

17. Armenia 🇦🇲 - Brunette - Future Lover - I think she did very well, They fixed the smoke effect too, her performance was pretty solid and she did okay.

18. Moldova 🇲🇩 - Pasha Parfeni - Soarele și luna - Okay, Pasha was actually screwed over by the juries placing him 20th, but while the public did place him 9th, he still only got 76 points. With Finland, Sweden, Norway, Ukraine, Israel, Italy and Croatia hogging all the televote points, literally no points were left for anyone else, so if the juries didn't love them they were practically doomed. And the juries likewise only cared about 7 acts so Pasha tanked.

19. Ukraine 🇺🇦 - TVORCHI - Heart of Steel - A very commendable performance and an overall good placing. I believe they made Ukrainians proud, Ukraine knows how to work a stage, whatever they try so it was expected. Plus, I think being the only song with R&B vibes last night might have helped.

20. Norway 🇳🇴 - Alessandra - Queen of Kings - Her vocals were still shaky and I still can't get out of my mind how much better she performed at UMK but she still did good and the public ate her up so I think this was also a very good placing.

21. Germany 🇩🇪 - Lord of the Lost - Blood & Glitter - Germany really can't get out of the depths of hell unless it's Lena or Michael Schulte huh? I did expect them to do worse than all the Big 5 but I thought they'd at least be mid to low table? Their performance was really good too, they deserved more

22. Lithuania 🇱🇹 - Monika Linkytė - Stay - YES! My girl got 11th! That's much better than i thought she would get and I'm so happy!

23. Israel 🇮🇱 - Noa Kirel - Unicorn - How the hell did Noa come third honestly xD Like, okay, I get the public points; even if the song was trash and the lyrics and unicorn hand gesture were a cringe fest, that dance break alone hard carried her but why the fuck did the juries got her 3rd place as well??? She was only singing good when stationary, the moment she started moving about she immediately went off key. How and why did the juries appreciate her vocal performance more than Italy's, Estonia's Spain's, Czechia's, Lithuania's, or Switzerland's who were all not once off-key during their performances??? This is genuinely puzzling and a huge inconsistency in the way the juries voted... Good for her anyway, I'm just still puzzled as to how she got such good scores from the juries, this makes no sense to me whatsoever.

24. Slovenia 🇸🇮 - Joker Out - Carpe Diem - Okay-ish boy band with an okay-ish performance did okay-ish. Nothing unexpected here.

25. Croatia 🇭🇷 - Let 3 - Mama ŠČ! - The public straight up ate them up! I'm so happy for them, because they still did good despite the juries', expected, butchering. This is how you do an anti-war song Switzerland!

26. United Kingdom 🇬🇧 - Mae Muller - I Wrote a Song - Whooo girl! Not second to last again! Her performance was not it, sure, but I still thought she miiiiight have done a teensy bit better.

I empathise with your stress and frustration over the DLC. The cutscenes I've seen online lack every single one of Eggman. I'm sorry. I hope you find time to relax. You'll get it one day and sending support from my Sonic to your Eggman 💙

Yeah it's a been a lot of stress especially for me as someone who didn't have the best time with the base game either as the gameplay style and design of most aspects of the game aren't for me and they really cranked it up in difficulty way too high all of a sudden even on easy. If that makes me terrible at it so be it, I just want to play it without it stressing me out and having me on the verge of losing my sanity doing it on repeat and giving my heart stress and making my blood pressure go up. XD

But seriously I've been seeing people being hard on people struggling but many of us are, even people I know who love the game so much they've put many hours into it that I never will. It's really not just a skill issue, they went too extreme for it for people who just want to have fun and don't like trials and I think that should always be optional. It's the reason I never played the other updates for long with their challenges and I was like well it's just not for me but then they lock story behind it and it becomes a problem lol

And yeah it bothers me that people who say they upload "all" cutscenes always miss some, or don't edit out filler, or don't include the island conversations at all. I know they're annoying to find but I want to see everything there is to offer for the best quality and experience and don't want to make judgments and analyze when I don't know everything. Though it is the game's fault also for making you have to find them. I don't wanna find parts of the story, the game has enough challenges as is. So Eggman finally being on the island is a blessing but also a huge curse for that

But I care about every single aspect of Eggman's character as I do in any other game so it's a necessity and that adds a lot of pressure and stress and challenge. I really hope I can figure this out and get it all so I can be satisfied and deliver the best video I can. I'll try to take it easy and try to rest and find peace of mind whenever I can because I'm over the part of getting too angry and upset now as I'm just too drained with my fatigue, I just want to push through and for it to be over now so I'm gonna give it another shot soon and keep calm. The things I do for the funny egg shaped man lol

I have this cool roomate au brainrot where reader has the same immortal abilities like Deadpool and Keisuke (Undying Happiness, comic dub by: Starbot Dubs on yt. I mostly basing reader off like Keisuke!) Reader basically doesn’t have pain receptors, regeneration, and can’t die.

Imagine Kaveh and Al-haithem were to unfortunately discover reader’s abilities in the most.. funny yet brutal way. Reader got sliced in half infront of them, but reader then happily waves it off, wanting to explain and comfort their roommates- they crawl towards a both screaming Kaveh and Al-haithem in horror yet confusion. XD

after a long explanation (hugging and crying from Kaveh), now Kaveh and Al-haithem has too keep on eye on reader at all cost, making sure to house proof their place since reader can be quite clumsy, one time reader accidentally cut their fingers when they cut the vegetables. Reader waves their cut finger hands around happily saying their fine, as blood gets sprayed all around the food and kitchen. kaveh occasionally accompanied reader as they like to walk out in the night, enjoying the stars and the scenery of sumeru. Scared that reader might get hurt or reader’s secret abilities will get discovered by someone who will tell the wrong people and reader get taken away, probably get experiment on. The thought kepts Kaveh up all night for weeks. (Poor kaveh, hahah!)

I absolutely love this idea!!

I could imagine that the first incident with the being sliced in half could happen when they're out in the desert for some research trip. You trigger some sort of ancient trap mechanism and end up cut clean in half. Cue Kaveh yelling like a marmot in the mountains and Alhaitham is just like *shocked turtle meme face*.

Imagine you try to reassure them and have to make yourself heard through all the yelling, in turn having to slowly crawl in their direction, grabbing Kaveh's foot to shut him up (but it has the opposite effect - now Alhaitham is finally yelling, too).

You sure have a lot of explaining to do afterward!

The vegetable cutting scene is extremely hilarious because I could imagine Reader looking away from the cutting board while talking to them, but they keep chopping and miss how they're no longer slicing the carrot but their index finger now.

They would for be inclined to wrap you in cushions and carry you everywhere so 1) no one notices it and 2) so you stop hurting yourself LMAO
