Super interested in how you plan to write Leopardfoot! I feel like both fanon and canon tend to make her into a sweet mom(tm) who’s super sad that Tigerstar is evil, very similar to how Goldenflower is usually treated. What’s her thoughts on Pinestar and him leaving? How did she influence Tigerstar? What are her political beliefs?
Society has progressed past the need for sad moms who stare tearily at their evil sons and boohoo about all the murder. It's MOTHER AGENCY TIME
BB!Leopardfoot was FEROCIOUS. Her father was the indominable Adderfang, and he taught her about the importance of honor and glory. When Tigerpaw was given to Thistleclaw as an apprentice, she was proud of it. It felt perfect to her-- that her father's apprentice was now her son's mentor.
For his brief rule, she supported Sunstar completely. It helped that he came after the disastrous and embarassing exit of Pinestar, which ruined the legacy that she wanted him to give her son. Pinestar was a damn coward and a codebreaker... and she assured Tigerkit that he was more HER son than his.
She even gives him a life, for Legacy, in defiance of StarClan
She was friends with Bluemoon for a time, but after ascending to StarClan, she learned about the Forget-me-nots.
This changed her opinion of her. Leopardfoot supports Thistle Law, STRONGLY so.
She supported THISTLECLAW when he tried to forcefully void the Queen’s Rights. If Bluemoon hadn't broken the code, then what did she have to hide?
She backed off when Thrushpelt leapt to her defense though, "She didn't reveal it because she doesn't love me are you happy now??"
Leopardfoot: *awkwardly turns away feeling like an asshole now, tea SPILLED, her friend's dirty laundry EXPOSED, thought she was crusading for the law but she just dug up drama*
Towards the end of Pinestar’s reign, he was getting exhausted. He wanted peace. Leopardfoot wanted kittens around that time, and figured that there was no better cat than the son of Oakstar, architect of the infamous Crusade Era.
If Pinestar had no children, a glorious bloodline would have died out. She wanted it for her kits. Pinestar agreed on the condition that he would be their Mi, which she happily accepted.
So when Pinestar left, she jumped into the nursery to take over and had to explain to her kits where their Mi went.
She drove it home to them that he abandoned everything, because his weakness took over. They would never be like him, she promised.
Mistkit died very young. Nightpaw made it to apprenticeship before she also succumbed. Tigerclaw remembers very well how hard it was to lose his sisters.
Leopardfoot herself was taken shortly before TPB, in Spottedleaf's Plague. Her death causes Tigerclaw to have a bit of a moment.
After the trial in Bluestar's Flowers, Leopardfoot leaves StarClan along with a bunch of other Thistle Law supporters, including Thistleclaw himself. She joins the BOTTE at the end of OotS, fighting to the end with her son.
She misses him a lot, and remains in the Dark Forest to the current arc. She chose her path; and has the dignity to walk it.
She does miss StarClan sometimes though, and will tell you stories about it if you ask.
In terms of demon friends, she's somewhere in the clique between the harsher and softer spirits.
She dislikes Morningstar, Cloudberry, and Ryewhisker on the softer end, and has come to resent Thistleclaw and Finchflight on the other, but likes Darkstripe, Leopardstar, and Silverhawk.
Gets along with a range of "mid" level demons.
In particular I imagine she hangs out with Darkstripe a lot. Taste test buddy, he asks her to try his experimental recipes because she's honest but not mean. One of the few Thistle Law supporting cats he hangs out with after the double-death of Tigerstar.
He calls her Lefty. Her official nickname is "Left" but he calls her Lefty.
(Clanmew: her name is Saorpwyyar. Others call her Saopr. He calls her Sapyy.)
Her mom and dad Swiftbreeze and Adderfang are here too, following Thistleclaw like she did, but she's been minimizing her contact with her dad. She feels like she is owed an apology somehow but also doesn't have the emotional intelligence to know that it's what she wants.
She just knows that she feels really bitter talking to him, and that's unpleasant.
She used to be VITRIOLIC with Pinestar, who is also here, even going after him physically when he chose to join in with the Dark Forest trainees. But now... honestly so much shit has happened, she just doesn't like seeing him. She wishes he wasn't here.
I write her being very dignified. She doesn't like to admit publically she was ever wrong and speaks with confidence, quietly backing off and not wanting to speak about her mistakes. She loves her children and her family, but explores the world in a very "self-centric" way, trusting her feelings and personal judgement over anything logical.
A reactionary sort of person, if that makes sense.
Her Land Mar has to develop over time because she is an ex-StarClan migrant (damned souls get theirs instantly after judgement), but it's called the Fence Cliff. It's a picket fence that blocks off a sheer drop, making a sharp turn down the cliff face and acting as a walkway. Follow the fence down the slope, and you can access the Dark Forest's town biome.

At the Moonstone, Spottedleaf makes Fireheart a full healer so she can take Cinderpaw on as an apprentice and names her Cinderpelt
Fireheart sees Bluefur in StarClan and she tells him not to give up hope for there is “a fire in his heart that will burn away the darkness plaguing ThunderClan”
Upon returning to camp, Fireheart goes straight to Thistlestar and tells him that he’d had a vision that the leader would destroy ThunderClan
Thistlestar does not appreciate the warning and sends Fireheart away, telling him he might be a healer but he carries kitty-pet blood
Fireheart returns to the healers den and asks Spottedleaf if poisoning Thistlestar would be so wrong
Spottedleaf sways him away from the idea because he might get executed for it if he fails
Soon a couple ShadowClan cats show up on ThunderClan territory, begging for medicine to help them with a disease wracking ShadowClan
Thistlestar kills Whitethroat and tells Littlecloud to deliver a message to Nightstar that they will get no help from ThunderClan
Fireheart and Sandstorm help Littlecloud carry Whitethroat’s body to the border and Fireheart gives Littlecloud some herbs anyway, telling him he will leave some more the next day as well
Littlecloud thanks him profusely before attempting to drag Whitethroat’s body back to camp
Sandstorm warns Fireheart that he’ll get in trouble to which Fireheart tells her he is done with Thistlestar’s cruelty and will be helping cats who have been wronged by him
Fireheart notices Thistlestar taking an interest in Goldenflower’s kits who are revealed to be Tigerclaw’s
Fireheart can’t help but feel guilty knowing its partially his fault the two will grow up without a father
The three healers prepare to leave for the Moonstone when Thistlestar calls them to his den
He tells them this will be the last half moon gathering they will be attending as he plans on closing the borders and focussing on only ThunderClan
All three healers protest against this but Thistlestar dismisses them, telling them to pass along the message ThunderClan will no longer got attending any gatherings
On the way to Mothermouth, Cinderpelt asks if Thistlestar is actually allowed to block them from attending half-moon gatherings
Spottedleaf tells him he shouldn’t be allowed to do it but that won’t stop him from punishing them for disobeying his orders
When they meet up with the other healers, Runningnose reveals the sickness was a bit worse than they’d expected and they were leaderless again, Runningnose himself acting as the sole leader
Littlecloud is revealed to be training under him though and he thanks Fireheart for his help as the herbs he gave them helped save several cats
Spottedleaf tells the other healers about Thistlestar’s orders
When they all go to commune with StarClan, Silverpelt warns Fireheart that ThunderClan is not the only clan being threatened now
The next day Thistlestar calls a meeting and reveals he plans on wiping out ShadowClan much to everyones shock
Thistlestar reveals that ShadowClan is weak and they’ve always been a thorn in ThunderClan’s pelt, so he’s decided they will just remove the throw permanently
Fireheart protests against this, stating StarClan will punish them if Thistlestar goes through with his plan
Thistlestar attacks Fireheart and warns him to know his place
Whitestorm manages to stop Thistlestar from doing any lasting damage to Fireheart, warning his father they’ll need all their healers soon
Fireheart turns on Whitestorm once Thistlestar is gone and is furious that Whitestorm is taking Thistlestar’s side
Whitestorm explains he doesn’t want to wipe out ShadowClan but also doesn’t want to see his father kill anyone else from ThunderClan
Fireheart asks Whitestorm to join his rebellion against Thistlestar which catches Whitestorm completely off guard
Fireheart explains the plan is to eventually take Thistlestar down, but for now they are simply going against the leader’s orders if they deem it cruel or excessive
Whitestorm agrees to join the rebellion as retribution for his aunt and son(Bluefur and Graystripe respectively)
Fireheart also explains the visions he’d been having about Thistlestar
A couple days later Thistlestar calls a meeting and asks Whitestorm if he has gathered up the cats to wipe out ShadowClan
Whitestorm reveals he has not because they won’t be wiping out ShadowClan
Thistlestar is infuriated and demands to know why Whitestorm disobeyed his orders
Whitestorm reveals Fireheart’s visions and refuses to endanger ThunderClan for the sake of glory
Most of the clan sways to Whitestorm’s side after hearing this, much to Thistlestar’s anger
Thistlestar warns everyone that disobeying the leader’s word is going against the warrior code and ThunderClan will be punished either way
Fireheart worries about what Thistlestar will do
That night the forest catches fire and the clan awakens to a camp full of smoke
Whitestorm orders for the clan to evacuate to Sunning rocks but Thistlestar blocks the camp entrance telling everyone that the fire was sent to punish them all and they shall wait to see if StarClan will let them live for their disloyalty
Fireheart attacks Thistlestar and orders everyone to escape
Whitestorm helps hold off Thistlestar until the rest of camp has escaped, leaving the three cats the only ones remaining left behind
A burning tree falls and blocks the camp entrance trapping the three in camp
Thistlestar accuses them of disloyalty and Fireheart yells at Thistlestar for ignoring all of the warnings he had received about how Thistlestar was destroying ThunderClan
Whitestorm points out that Thistlestar had almost trapped all of ThunderClan in camp where they surely would have perished
Thistlestar seems to snap to his senses and realize what he almost did
Whitestorm uses the distraction to grab Fireheart and flee
They manage to find a small opening in the flames getting only a little singed in the process
They make it to Sunning rocks where cats are already crossing the river to escape the flames
RiverClan arrives to help and they agree to shelter ThunderClan until the fire is out
Despite his injuries, Fireheart sits beside the river, waiting to see Thistlestar but he never arrives, leading Fireheart to suspect Thistlestar didn’t make it
As the clan stays in RiverClan territory, Graystripe introduces his parents to their grand-kits as well as getting to meet his own younger siblings
Sandstorm frets over Fireheart and she reveals she was afraid she had lost him when he didn’t arrive at Sunning rocks right away
Fireheart realizes that Sandstorm likes him and reminds her that he’s a healer to which Sandstorm reveals she doesn’t care
Cinderpelt reminds Fireheart that she’s training to be a healer now so he can be a normal warrior if he wants
Fireheart wants to think about it but promises to greatly consider it
Fireheart notices the fire seems to have been properly put out by the rain and asks permission to check for Thistlestar’s body because he won’t be able to relax until he knows for sure what the leader’s fate is
Sandstorm is sent with him and they manage to find their way to camp where they find Thistlestar’s body under Highrock
Fireheart sees Bluefur’s ghost and she tells him that Thistlestar’s spirit has been taken care of and he will no longer be a threat to the clan
Fireheart and Sandstorm return to Whitestorm to deliver the news that he is the new leader of ThunderClan

it would be great to hear about bris for the ddd au!! or snowtuft if youd prefer
for bristlefrost, I think hers would be a superedition called Bristlefrost's Spirit. and it'd be a double meaning w/ how she's a (lost) spirit, but also how she learns to keep her morale up when the various other cats (toms) she's defined herself by (first stemleaf, then rootspring, and also in a non-romantic sense the impostor) are lost to her. she has to figure out she is when she has no clan or mate that needs her. what does she need herself? who is she?
I think snowtuft would have a novella called Snowtuft's Regret or Snowtuft's Memory. he's my favorite "secondary" character in this au so forgive me if I'm repeating myself, but I love the idea of him learning to use his memory-walking powers on himself and his life in the old forest as tigerstar's lackey returns to him full force. at the same time, his friendship with spottedleaf blossoms in the duplex. he's plagued by the thought that she and bristlefrost and all his friends in the duplex would shun him and damn him to just as lonely of a life he had in the dark forest if they found out. when it's too much to bear, he confesses his past to spottedleaf.
and all she has to say is: "I know."

Note for !au both sides of Bluestar and Oakheart’s family are cursed. Oakheart is of course plagued by the curse of the queen, a old myth by Riverclan and Thunderclan’s minds but a very real curse placed by Mapleshade long ago. While Bluestar has a prophecy of greatness and power bestowed to her, she also has a underlying curse to walk her world alone and eventually go mad.
Curses aren’t often known by cats but are found and created by spirits so emotional it creates a scratch on destiny itself. Curses can also come with gifted power or prophecies, prophecy or power bearing cats always have a curse that comes with their unnatural blessings. Goosefeather had a curse that came with his power, other cats with lesser curses are Spottedleaf, Stormtail, all cats still in Mapleshade’s line of sight, the Three, and a few others who have more role based curses. I want to expand on this but I really enjoy curses a lot when it comes to stories. I’ll probably change or shift a few of these cats and there are more I just didn’t list!

ꕥ — WELCOME TO NEFE COSMIA, BLUESTAR. 🌓
Tumblr media
ꕥ  — OOC INFORMATION;
name / alias: Justin age: 23 pronouns: He/Him ooc contact: selunesangel on Twitter other characters in xc: Sveta and Petra
ꕥ  — IC INFORMATION;
name: Bluestar age: 7 (adult for a cat) pronouns: she/her series: Warriors canon point: End of A Dangerous Path, post-death app triggers: death, injured animals
personality:
Bluestar is quite wise, being able to offer advice to many of the other cats in her clan and help them when they need it most. She keeps on her guard, becoming very wary of any cat, including those in her own clan, especially towards the end of her life. She commands quite the respect, and as one of Starclan’s chosen, she certainly has it. She also has great ambitions for not only her, but her cats in her clan.
something your muse struggles with: Bluestar struggles quite a bit with trust, after her previous deputy betrayed and attempted to kill her.
your muse’s greatest strength: Bluestar is steadfast and sticks to her decisions when she makes them. She is a very decisive leader.
history / background:
Bluekit was born to Moonflower and Stormtail, a pair of Thunderclan warriors, along with her sister Snowkit. Along with her sister, she became an apprentice to Stonepelt, becoming Bluepaw. During a battle between Thunderclan and Windclan, Bluepaw’s mother is killed by Windclan’s medicine cat. Both Bluepaw and her sister witnessed this, leaving them mortified by what they saw. Shaken by what she has seen, she falls into a depressed state, losing her mentor to the elder den after he is badly injured in the battle.
Bluepaw is given a new mentor, Sunfall, who helps her learn to love her apprentice tasks again after she becomes resentful to them and the other cats of the clan. After a battle with the Riverclan, Goosefeather, the Thunderclan medicine cat, delivers her a prophecy that she will blaze through the forest like fire, but water can quench fire. After which, she becomes a warrior for the clan, being given the name Bluefur.
During a trip to the Sunningrocks, Bluefur finds Oakheart there and chases him off. However, afterwards, she finds her mind plagued with thoughts of him constantly. Later, her sister announces that she is having her mate’s, Thistleclaw, kits, which upsets Bluefur as she does not care for him much. After giving birth to her kits, Snowfur meets an unfortunate end to a Twoleg monster, and Bluefur becomes the foster mother to Whitekit. She once again distances herself from the clan due to grief, being shaken out of it by Sunstar, the Thunderclan leader, much like he did when her mother died.
Bluefur meets with Oakheart in secret, eventually learning that she is having his kits. Knowing this is breaking the Warrior Code, she asks one of her clan mates, Thrushpelt, to help her keep the secret, which he does because he is in love with her. She gives birth to three kits, Mistykit, Stonekit, and Mosskit. After the current deputy falls ill, it becomes between Bluefur and Thistleclaw, Goosefeather urges her to become deputy, as Thistleclaw will lead the clan to ruin with his bloodthirsty ways. She brings her kits to Oakheart in Riverclan. Unfortunately, the bare leaf that year is especially cold, claiming the life of Mosskit. She mourns the loss of her children at home in the Thunderclan, claiming that they had been killed by a fox. She then became the deputy and was given her first apprentice, Frostpaw.
Not long after Sunstar passes, she inherits the role of leader, going to the Moonstone and taking part in the Nine Lives Ceremony. She is told by her sister from the afterlife that does not regret choosing her to become a leader, and she becomes Bluestar, Spottedleaf telling her that fire alone will save Thunderclan. Due to this, Bluestar invites a kittypet named Rusty into the clan because of his bright orange fur. Oakheart and Redtail die in a battle at the Sunningrocks. While grief stricken, she makes Lionheart her deputy, and makes Rusty, now Firepaw, her apprentice.
During a battle with Shadowclan, Lionheart dies, forcing her to make Tigerclaw her deputy. She makes Firepaw a warrior, giving him the name Fireheart. When Tigerclaw attempts to kill Bluestar, Fireheart starts to slip into more of a leader role, as Bluestar becomes paranoid and distrusting of every cat around her. Bluestar begins to curse the Starclan. When Tigerstar lures a pack of dogs to the clan, he is thwarted by the clan, Bluestar sacrificing herself to save Fireheart from a dog, sending herself over the gorge and drowning in the river. She washes up downstream, barely alive and with her kits, Mistyfoot and Stonefur, and Fireheart, who stayed by her side in her final moments. She reconciles with her kits, using her last breaths to tell Fireheart he will be a great leader. Upon her death, Oakheart comes and takes her to Starclan where she can finally be with her mate.
powers / abilities: She is blessed and will receive rare visions from Star Clan, along with being granted nine lives, but all of those lives have been used at this point.

current PMVs I am working on
(Slowly)
Mo Ghile Mear- The first three books of TNP
this one is an exercise in creating diverse backgrounds, but I’m having a lot of fun sketching them out.
Every Season- A medicine cat medley
Spottedleaf as Summer, Yellowfang as autumn, Cinderpelt as winter, and Leafpool as spring
This one is in its early stages, but I’m working on it more as a child’s picture book than anything more intensive. This one is very self indulgent. I might overhaul the style again.
Just a Man- Warriors:Pawsteps in the Snow
Extremely spoiler heavy, but I’m about halfway done with it. Anyone else make PMVs for their fan clans?
Survive- Snowpaw
Another spoiler heavy piece with Pawsteps in the Snow, but I think it’s pretty obvious what cyclops will plague the clans 👀
Just need to decide who dies…

Hi! I would love to hear your thoughts on medicine cat Fireheart. When I first read the first book at like 10, I honestly thought he was gonna become Spottedleaf’s apprentice, because of how close the two were.
AAA HI!! my first ask! sorry i’m excited lol also when it comes to the timeline i’m a bit foggy, so i might go back and re-read some of Into The Wild to refresh myself but heres some overall thoughts and ideas:
- Firepaw wanted to be apprenticed to Spottedleaf, but she died and he was apprenticed to Bluestar instead for a bit.
- Hated having to deal with Tigerclaw and seeing Ravenpaws so afraid and not being able to do anything about it, feelingnhelpless and paranoid in his new home.
- He meets Yellowfang in the same way but enjoys spending time with her in the medicine den more, and eventually is re-apprenticed to her. He finds learning medicine interesting and relaxing.
- Spottedleaf acts as a spiritual guide. Even though Fireheart is a part of a prophecy, since he wasn’t born in the clans it’s harder for him to speak with Starclan since they aren’t his ancestors, so she’s there to help lead him and show him any omens.
- He still goes with Gray and Raven to find Windclan because Bluestar feels they might need the help of an extra medicine cat, he brings lots of herbs and makes the trip easier. Raven still goes to live with Barley bc I love them and they’re so happy together,,
- In this AU Brokenstar’s warrior name was Brokenheart because “Brokentail” was stupid >:/ and it makes Yellowfang naming Firepaw “Fireheart” mean more to her, as it’s sort of her way of disowning her son and seeing Fireheart as her own.
- Cinderpelt’s mentor is Sandstorm. Her accident still happens but this time she’s able to be a warrior despite her slight disability because that was bs
- Graystripe and Fireheart still stay best friends and the emotional weight that comes along with Fire not being able to save Silverstream is much more emotional since he both loses faith in himself as a medicine cat, and as a friend to Graystripe and feels he should distance himself, even though Gray still really needs him. :’)
- Sandstorm eventually becomes leader instead of Fireheart since he’s a medicine cat. Prior to that Fireheart was still very close with Bluestar, and tried to ease her nerves and help her slipping mind with herbs, though it never really worked. He went through a time where he wondered if he was a good enough medicine cat if he couldn’t heal his leader of whatever was plaguing her.
- Sandstar and Dustpelt become mates instead, they are the parents of this universe’s Squirrelflight and Leafpool (the “squirrel” and “leaf” prefixes will stay the same, but their suffixes might change).
- Sandstar and Fireheart still make the trek to do whatever they did with Skyclan to be completely honest I never read Firestar’s Quest and know nothing about it 😔. Since both leader and med car leave the clans Graystripe is in charge as surrogate leader since he’s still made deputy, and Cinderpelt is in charge as surrogate medicine cat, as she stayed in the medicine den for a while due to her injury and picked up on a lot of knowledge, even considering becoming a medicine cat at one point but still deciding on continuing down the path of a warrior.
- Leafpool (actually, considering she was named that for discovering the moonpool I don’t see what she shouldn’t keep that name) becomes Fireheart’s apprentice. He acts like a second dad to her.
This post is getting really long so I’m going to stop now!! Thanks for asking about all this if there’s anything else anyone wants to know just ask away! Questions help me think more about how to plan this.

Blackstar and Stonefur moment but in the 'Jealous' animation meme format
Blackstar’s design belongs to @warriors-designs go give them some love!!
Some context & backstory to this AU that Star and I are working on under the cut!
This follows pretty closely to canon events, but basically, Stonefur and Blackfoot were dating very briefly before the events of the darkest hour, and found each other's presences comforting and an escape from their rigid duties for their clans. Blackfoot especially found Stonefur's affection to be a welcome contrast to his rougher upbringing, and finds himself completely forgetting the anger and conflict that plagues him when in his presence. Of course, Blackfoot is Blackfoot, and he still is willing to dish out the rough treatment that Brokenstar orders of him. Shadowclan raids Thunderclan's camp to steal their kits, and elderly Rosetail is murdered by Blackfoot with little struggle before he steals the kits. Stonefur finds out about this indirectly [ Fireheart tells Mistyfoot, who passes on the knowledge to her brother. ] Stonefur confronts Blackfoot about this, utterly outraged and devastated that his partner would not only murder an elder, but steal frighten kits from their home. Blackfoot is taken aback by the confrontation, and has little to say for himself to Stonefur's demands. With that, their relationship ends, Stonefur leaving Blackfoot for good as he goes on to try distract himself with his mentorship, warrior duties, and climbing the ladder towards being Riverclan's deputy. All at once, Blackfoot's anger and despair comes crashing down on him again without the companionship, and as Tigerstar becomes leader of Shadowclan, Blackfoot's bullying nature has only become worse. The events of Bone Hill happen, Stonefur defies Tigerstar, and Darkstripe and Blackfoot take the weakened warrior down and execute him. Blackfoot doesn't think twice about this at first, assuring himself "Stonefur chose his loyalties to his clan over him, and he had only done the same."
It is only after Blackfoot witnesses the murder of Gorsepaw by Tigerstar's claws, as he is ordered to block Morningflower from her son, that Blackfoot begins to pause and reflect. The murder of the innocent apprentice sends his mind back to the memory of his nephew, Bagerfang, being killed in a battle he led under Brokenstar's orders: the death that pushed Blackfoot's siblings Flintfang and Fernshade further away from him and their tyrannical leader. All at once, his guilt for Stonefur, Rosetail and Gorsepaw's deaths begin to weigh down on him, nightmares plaguing him all the way into his leadership. He meets with Stonefur and Rosetail's ghosts once during his leadership ceremony, with Rosetail utterly unable to look at him. Stonefur appears to share her sentiment, but is visibly conflicted when he sees how deeply the guilt is impacting on Blackstar. He sees the cat he once knew, tormented by his temper, his isolation, his crimes... his guilt. Stonefur essentially at this point takes on a similar role that Spottedleaf does for Firestar and Leafpool, but is less intimate and gentle. He has no intention of carrying Blackstar to his redemption, but rather he is there to remind him to leave his nest on his darkest days, to eat when he finds himself lost in his painful recollections.
"How can you expect me to forgive you if you cannot forgive yourself?"
Blackstar's greatest obstacle arrives when Sol meets him and Shadowclan. The two briefly dabble in the shallows of dating, with Blackstar hopeful that he can finally achieve some sort of peace with Sol as his partner. Alas, his hopes unravel as Sol's true nature is revealed, pushing Blackstar in his vulnerable state to abandon Starclan, to deny clan customs, and give away his way of life as Sol rises to power in Shadowclan. With the revelation of the prophecy that reveals Sol for who he is, Blackstar finally finds the strength to tell Sol no, that he will no longer tolerate his lies and harm to his clan. Instead of lashing out or mauling the Rogue in a violent impulse that the young Blackfoot would have once delivered, Blackstar remains composed, calm. He exiles Sol, and lets him leave with his life. It is a victory Blackstar is blinded to see in his despair at having been so close to happiness again, but, like a comforting hand from the past, Blackstar feels a gentle presence rest beside his flank that night, staring down at him with unseen eyes shinning with gentle respect. A voice resonates barely above a whisper, one Blackstar would think to mistake for a breeze if not so familiar.
"You won, Blackstar. Have your rest, for tomorrow the sun shines brighter."

can you give us more info on Spottedleaf’s Plague and the events leading up to the beginning of the first book?
Sure! Spottedleaf's Plague is still pretty loose right now, I have an ending in mind but the central theme is still up in the air. It's one of my looser planned SEs, it rotates around in my head like a microwave but it's still uncooked.
(Horrible Histories Plague Song Tune)
The intro is largely Spotty, Red, and Tiger as apprentices.
Whitestorm is a young warrior above them, and the cool older cousin of Red and Spotty
A lot of the dynamic is established. Spotty and Tiger are BESTIES and cradling a mutual crush, Red is kind of a snappish, awkward apprentice
Redtail is trans and is going to transition about midway through this book btw
Thrushpelt is Redtail's mentor. Thistleclaw is Tigerpaw's mentor. Unsure who is Spottedpaw's mentor; looking to pick a molly here.
Growing up, Spotty has to deal with how her crummy uncle Thistleclaw suspects her of being halfclan and has basically become intolerant of his sister, Rosetail, for claiming Queen’s Rights
Tigerpaw is picking up a lot of this
Thistle is a violent, abusive person who subjects Tigerpaw to intense training. Spotty is usually the one patching up his minor injuries
The worst of them happen on the day the Parable of the Thistle is written. He's covered in horrible prickles all over his face, and his paws are cut up
This sends him to the Cleric's Den, which is where Spotty eventually falls in love with the idea of being a cleric.
Featherwhisker is AMAZING, he's so funny and wise, she wants to be like him super badly.
Through hanging out with him, she learns she is absolutely fantastic with rituals. She can draw a perfect circle and has a knack for invoking the warriors of StarClan.
But... more than ever, she is losing Tigerpaw. If she becomes Cleric, they can never be mates, or go to battle training, and they'll spend less time on patrol together
More than a possible romantic partner, she is losing a friend, as he's sucked further down the hole Thistleclaw is digging for him
Bluestar became deputy, and then leader, in less than a month. This was towards the end of Spotty's apprenticeship.
She is overjoyed for this, because Blue is her mom's best friend, and Featherwhisker's choice. (and possibly her mentor's mentor, if her warrior mentor was Frostfur)
Big timeskip at a point, because there are 4.5 years of general peace under Bluestar.
The next big event here is the titular plague, which I'm still unsure of what the disease is specifically. HOWEVER, it is going to be the same plague that Runningnose starts in TPB so I'm planning to play loosely with it, to make its rules easier on myself.
It's either a disease like rabies, or black death.
Possibly a mix of both. Frothing Death?
Info: This disease has some kind of obvious physical symptom but is infectious before that point. It has a survival rate, but can stunt growth. Adults and adolescents are more vulnerable to it than kits and elders.
It spreads first by bat, but is spread further by fleas.
Spottedleaf and Featherwhisker are working themselves to the bone to care for every sick cat
Spottedleaf is taking every waking moment to beg for help from StarClan. They're not totally useless and do manage to get her some good pointers
And then, while tending to Leopardfoot, Featherwhisker gets Anime Blood Cough Disease or whatever I make the symptom LMAO
Tigerclaw loses his mom and Spotty loses her mentor
When she tries to invoke him, StarClan does not send him down.
So... she channels him instead. And he pops up.
StarClan sent him to the Dark Forest even after he died tending to a patient, for his constant disregard of the code and siring a child with a kittypet while on the vow (Frostfur)
That Shakes Her Up A Bit
The final scene, I can see it perfectly in my head:
Tigerclaw finds Spotty while she's still stumbling around, dazed by her revelation, reconsidering everything she's ever thought about morality, StarClan, and the meaning of life. He's furious out of pain and basically trying to provoke her by asking if her path of the Cleric was all worth it
She couldn't save his mom and she couldn't save her mentor, or any of the like 1/4th of ThunderClan that died
And she hears this and like, this Fool. This Stupid Man. He doesn't even know the half of it.
So she starts laughing, because she's Spotty. Shaking her head, returning to her old self, gets her paw on his big ass shoulder (she has to reach up he's so tall)
Paraphrased:
"Nothing matters! Even the things we can change are nothing in the long run! Everyone will forget our names someday and you can be the best clanmate in the world or die trying, we all get buried in the same dirt! My claws can keep us here a little longer but yours can't dig us up and all that matters is what *I* KEEP PEOPLE JUST A LITTLE LONGER AND NO STARS OR WARRIORS WILL TAKE THOSE MOMENTS FROM ME"
Claws dug into his fur Tigerclaw is a bit speechless. Same Old Spotty. "...i apologize, my friend. I was... crass."
Spotty: "s'allright. Im sorry about your mom. Wanna get lunch?"
And that's what I've got so far. I want to keep its ending a bit raw and abrupt, because it's got this budding vibe that Spottedleaf's story is about the life she lived and the moments she's collected within it. Something about the absurdity of it all, how 'wasted' effort isn't totally wasted, and the beauty within just having a person for a little bit longer.

Prologue
It was a quiet night in ThunderClan camp as Bluestar gazed up at the star filled sky. The rustling of the leaves in the gentle breeze was the only sound to be heard. That was until a voice spoke, breaking Bluestar from her thoughts.
“Bluestar, you should be resting.”
Bluestar looked down to see the familiar tortoiseshell healer, gazing back up at her. “I’m sorry, Spottedleaf, I am unable to rest.”
Spottedleaf hopped up onto the Highrock to sit beside her. “Are you searching for a sign from StarClan?”
“They have been so silent lately, I’m beginning to worry what this will mean for the clans.” Bluestar admitted.
“It is not always a bad sign when StarClan grows quiet, it can mean there is nothing we need to worry about.” Spottedleaf attempts to reassure her leader.
“ThunderClan is struggling, how can that not be a bad sign?” Bluestar snapped. She leaned back with a sigh as she composed herself. “I’m sorry, Spottedleaf, I shouldn’t have snapped at you.” She glanced back up at the sky. “I’m just worried about our future. We haven’t had many new kits born into the clan and those who do rarely make it to their warrior ceremony. We’ve lost far too many cats and our numbers are beginning to dwindle.”
“Don’t lose hope, we may be going through a hard time right now, but things will get better, I know they will.” Spottedleaf promised.
“I wish I had your optimism.” Bluestar shuffled her paws.
“We have four healthy kits in the nursery right now and Longpaw is nearly ready for his warrior assessment. We must look at the positives if we are to survive.” Spottedleaf states matter-of-factly. “Even if our numbers are few, ThunderClan is strong and won’t be lost so easily.”
Bluestar shook her head. “Thank you Spottedleaf, I needed to hear that.”
“Of course.” Spottedleaf’s eyes turned softer.
They fell into a comfortable silence, gazing up at the stars. Spottedleaf’s eyes reflected the tiny pinpricks of light covering the sky when a single streak of light caught her attention. She stared up at it for a long moment before her whole body went rigid.
Bluestar turned to look at her in surprise after feeling her companion tense up and when she took notice of the healer’s face she quickly prepared herself in case she fell of of Highrock. After a few moments, Spottedleaf broke away from her trance like state and slumped forward a bit.
“Are you alright?” Bluestar asked worriedly. “Was that a vision?”
Spottedleaf blinked as if to clear her eyes of whatever she had just seen. “It was.” She breathed as her gaze returned o the stars. “I’m not really sure if it was a vision of hope or an omen, but it was a message from StarClan.”
“What did you see?” Bluestar felt far too eager to hear what had been seen.
Tumblr media
“I saw a cat made of fire standing atop Highrock.” Spottedleaf breathed, staring at the rock under her paws. “There were many voices whispering that this cat would bring about a great change and that their decisions would determine the fates of the clans.”
“A great change? What kind of great change?”
“I don’t know, but whoever they are, they’re important.” Spottedleaf shook her head. “I must think on this and consult StarClan before I can come to any conclusions on the matter.”
“Of course, rest well.” Bluestar dipped her head.
As Spottedleaf left, Bluestar watched her leave. Now Bluestar’s mind was plagued with questions and Bluestar contemplated sneaking away to Mothermouth alone but decided against it. There was no reason to worry her clan with a sudden disappearance. She would just wait for Spottedleaf’s verdict on what the vision was about. Bluestar hoped it would be good.
“May StarClan light our paths and watch over us.” Bluestar murmured. Her eyes were filled with starlight as she turned to look at them. “May whoever was in that vision save our clan from destruction.”

In a previous post you mentioned in your AU Ashfur is upset to find out his father is Whitestorm, not Redtail, because “his father wasn't the great deputy everyone praises, but a tired old cat with little fight left in him.”
I always gathered from the books that Whitestorm was an extremely well-respected warrior, even if he was a bit older. He also becomes deputy shortly after Ashpaw is apprenticed, and was a popular choice.
Do events with Whitestorm happen differently in your AU? Or is the legend of Redtail just too much for any cat to live up to in Ashpaw’s eyes?
That's very much expressing Ashfur's skewed depiction of him, rather than objective fact. But in this AU, Whitestorm was hit with some pretty bad depression after Redtail's death. He's pretty good at hiding it, but his smiles are faded, and he sighs a lot. And then after Bluestar's death, it grew more apparent. He has a drive to fight for his Clan, but he becomes more and more prepared, and perhaps even a little eager, to die doing so.
He misses Redtail, and Spottedleaf, and Lionheart, and Bluestar, and he misses Tigerclaw, from back when he was his friend and not a power hungry warlord. He loses more and more of his friends and family, and his chin is no longer held high and proud. And after being fed incredible stories of a flawless Redtail by everyone, Whitestorm included, Ashfur finds himself bitter at who his real father is.
And there's a part of Ashfur who wonders why Whitestorm wasn't there to save Redtail. And he knows Whitestorm is plagued by the same question.
Neither have an answer they're satisfied with.

“He Loved Too Much...” AKA A Good Boi!Ashfur AU
I’ve been getting back into Warriors lately, and one thing I’ve seen a lot of are different cool and interesting AUs like evil Spottedleaf. I decided to make one of my own, and it’s an AU for Ashfur.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His design is pretty much the same as your typical Ashfur design, except for the heart on his chest. In this AU his warrior name is Ashheart, which reflects his much kinder nature. Here’s the gist of it:
-Ashheart has a sort-of introverted personality and keeps his feelings and thoughts to himself most of the time.
-He often acts like something of a therapist during Sharing Tongues, listening to cats vent while sitting and nodding. He’s admired for his great listening skills.
-His period of dating Squirrelflight is a result of many sessions of Sharing Tongues and her ranting about Brambleclaw.
-Squirrelflight eventually ending things is one of the rare occasions Ashheart loses his cool. He ends up going into a depression and actually feels anger at Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight.
-Unlike in the books, though, he soon realizes that he’d want Squirrelflight to be happy, even if she’d not with him. No attempted murder :P
-Hawkfrost attempts to manipulate him into killing Firestar during his depression phase. Ashheart refuses, fighting Hawkfrost upon seeing his leader in the fox trap. Hawkfrost overpowers him, but Brambleclaw comes in at the last minute, killing Hawkfrost and saving Ashheart and Firestar. Ashheart’s friendship with Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight is soon rekindled.
-Ashheart becomes one of Squirrelflight’s closest friends, even though he still has feelings for her. When the Three are born, Squirrelflight and Leafpool trust him with the secret.
-Ashheart is still Lionpaw’s mentor, and ends up forming a close bond with him.
-Hawkfrost’s spirit constantly plagues him, threatening him that he’ll regret not helping him.
-When Brambleclaw breaks up with Squirrelflight, she goes to Ashheart for comfort like before.
-During the Great Battle, Ashheart is ultimately killed fighting Hawkfrost, but not before taking Hawkfrost down for good. His spirit resides in Starclan.
