Miss. Jenn why. You’re stressed about the show, but you’re not performing it. They are. They have to worry about lines and cues and pitches, not you. Miss. Jenn has literally gone at the kids this season. Opening night speech too Ash and Ricky, shutting Seb down, that comment. She has become obsessed with the Menkies and North High. It has gotten really bad. These kids have put everything into this show, even their relationships (both platonic and romantic) and that is how you repay them?

I didn’t think they would address this, I lost hope after last week but I am so glad they’re going too.

Someone send Seb after Miss. Jenn please, let him rip into her, he would do very well.

Miss. Jenn is supposed to be the role model and she just told a kid to jump off something high.

nina has been a godsend this episode, props to her!

haven’t been the biggest nini fan this season (off and on for me), but she was very behaved this episode.

if there is anything the east high kids are good at, it’s bullshitting their way out.

I liked the episode. Didn’t love it, but liked it. I really wish we got to see more acting, like we didn’t even see Big Red and E.J go on stage. Not even the iconic yellow dress. Some of the drama is so unnecessary, like why Mike and Jenn? What is with the Kourtney and Howie drama the writers insist on having, can’t they just be happy?

Besides the whole harness incident (burn that harness and mask it is causing so many problems) the production went very well, too well. This is East High we’re talking about.

Have you seen the French Dispatch yet? If you haven´t just stop reading and forget this ask. If you have ... are you just as disappointed with herb´s 5 minute screen time as i am? i mean i knew it was a small part but that small? that little baby deserved more

Thank you for the ask and apologies for the v late reply anon, idk if you saw the post I made when you originally sent this but wanted to wait until after wide release before mentioning anything about his screen time. The official answers are that I finally had time to watch last weekend and wasn't surprised but BEYOND disappointed because I love him and he deserves the world :(

(Feel free to stop reading at this point because I'm about to ramble waaaay too much about love of my life Herbsaint Sazerac to the point that this is going behind a read more since there's a whole damn essay coming y'alls way right down to how charming his cute dumb socks are and yes he could leave them on 😔)

SO I'd actually heard about all his scenes / screen time right before the release so going in knowing what to expect helped but even then disappointed's a major understatement :(

Tbh considering the size of the cast and the fact that his roles in Wes movies clearly aren't ever going to be what they were I wasn't expecting more than 10-15 minutes tops but it did feel like a waste of a character with limitless potential, y'know? Not to mention Owen being so prominent in all the trailers and promo...

I guess for me the real letdown was expecting Herb's (hadn't thought of calling him that and LOVE it so thank you again anon 😂) contributions to be scattered more throughout the film rather than basically all at the start and therefore involving a little more interaction outside the newspaper office which was sort of a selfish wish just because Herb's unique, utterly beautiful, and Owen has chemistry working with everyone which is just plain fun to watch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe I just wanted more Herb scenes to look forward to but the genuine feeling overall was that the film was a fun watch but would've flowed better as a look at a typical, everyday print that happened to have those three stories simultaneously going on around town in between his travel interludes. Keep the opening as is then add in bonus intros to each new plot. Idk, say maybe before part 2 he's meandering around town talking about something lovely but mundane then swerves to avoid some protestors which segues into Revisions to a Manifesto, etc. Eventually the staff gathers and each of them think they've obviously got the lead story except Herb who's cool chilling out in his own world slightly perplexed there was so much going on around town that day or something.

Then you have throwaway lines like how he hates flowers which for whatever reason lives in my head rent free, somehow the character has soooooo much style / depth for the little content we got which makes the low screen time hurt that much more because he could easily carry a whole film. Look at that soft travel bb give him a series of specials asap and let him tour the world 🥰 Everything about him's immediately distinctive from the outfit (those socks AND the beret??? okay icon go on) to his approach around town and the fact that this is the only character Owen's played in a Wes movie that doesn't jump to please people or lean into a more social disposition which I'm choosing to look at as kind of an acknowledgement Owen's been looking for a fresh take on a lot of his recent roles (like his approach to Mobius) and that their irl creative partnership is currently in a similar form of maybe not necessarily being on the same page, kind of begrudgingly so, but there's still respect and appreciation to continue collabs however limited 🙃

(This is already the online equivalent of me talking nonstop for a year or something so giving it a rest but please know I could easily keep going 😂😂)

quiet .peaceful .light snores of the members filled the dorm .the room filled with nothing but darkness .black shade hovering over the members faces .they had just wrapped up a little celebration in the living room with cakes and party poppers to celebrate their 3rd year together not long ago .shortly after wrapping up the party ,they had fallen asleep on the couch ,all lying on one another comfortably .

sangyeon slowly blinked his eyes open .he rubbed his eyes and slowly unwrapped eric's hands from his waist and placed chanhee's legs that were on his lap onto the space of the sofa that he had previously occupied .careful to not wake the members up .

he looked at the members' sleeping forms and smiled ,glad that they were finally able to catch some rest after their packed schedules .he walked to the kitchen to fetch himself a glass of water and at the corner of his eyes ,he spotted a glimmering light .he placed his glass down and approached the light that was so very alluring for some reason .

there on the shelf of where all their awards have been placed on ,laid a book with its contents blinding his eyes with its bright light .he inspected the book for a while before proceeding to open it with caution .

inside the book ,there were sketches of the key moments the members have shared together such as their debut stage ,their first ever music show award as well as their first ever full length album promos .as he flipped to the first page that displayed their first moment together ,there were harsh winds blowing past him and a force from the book pulled him towards the page and right into it .

he looked at the 12 boys on stage ,introducing themselves for the first time to the whole wide world .and he looked at them with pride and honour in his eyes ,the boys' who had no idea what being idols would be like for themselves ,clueless of what the future had in store for them .he looked at them from the bottom of the stage and sucked in a breath ,"wow we've really grown a lot ."he thought .

after they had introduced themselves as a group and individually ,the sight in front of him suddenly pauses and his attention gets diverted to the door to his right .

he walked into the room .

he gets transported to the very first time they cried together ,over the pain ,over the stress ,over the tiredness of it all .

he looked at the 12 boys shedding tears of pain .he swallowed the lump in his throat ,the feelings of helplessness ,confusion ,fear coming washing over him once again as he sees the very moment they broke down .

tears flows down his face ,and that my friends are tears of the caretaker ,the leader ,the person whom the members depend on ,lee sangyeon .

as heavy as the weight he carried ,the tears poured like a fierce and powerful waterfall .

and then the door right next to him yet again invites him to step into yet another memory .

he steps onto the stage of road to kingdom ,and as he looks ahead the ending poses of all their road to kingdom stages are there right in front of him .all the members still and not moving ,just statures .

he walks down the long stretch ,as he looks at the legacy they left behind ,the power and strength ,the confidence from these stages that the members have gained progressively with each stage .

as he finally reaches the other end of the stage ,the screen opens up to when they had their 'the stealer'promotions .where they had their wins .

his smile grew wider and wider as he walked through all the performances they have done for the stealer and all the trophies they have gotten from the era .

and finally he reached another door .a door with a question mark on it .

he opens the door ,to pitch black .

darkness ,just darkness .and the fear in sangyeon grew ,"what does this darkness mean ?what is it gonna be for us ?"

suddenly , the door creaks open to reveal the members one by one .

sangyeon looks up at them and suddenly the fear stops ,hes no longer afraid as he looks into their eyes .

they ran to him and extended their hands out to him .

he proceeds to embrace all the members into a big tight group hug .drops of colour starts to paint the room ,slowly forming a picture showing the many stages they have performed ,every milestone theyve achieved ,the concerts ,every moment with their fans ,every moment together ,every vlives .everything starts out when theyre together .

we opened the door carefully ,proceeding to join our hands together and form a circle surrounding the boys .as we cried tears of joy and pride ,we hugged each other as well and this is when we knew

"theres nothing like us ,theres nothing like you and me ,together through the storm ."

Zee: They should be. I mean, yeah they’re “vessels” but they are the ones that bring the words to life. Let’s not worry about next season. We still have the “joy” that’s gonna be the last ep of this one

I'd like to read your emotions on TIFF and Governors awards. For me the two most significant and beautiful events for them❤

Oh man, I would need to write non-stop for two weeks to cover these two events.

TIFF was kind of special for me because it was my first live(-through-screen)-Charmie moment, except for SWM stage doors a few days before. I saw CMBYN for the first time on March 6 last year and hadn’t heard of it before, so by the time I came into the fandom, everything was… over. So I basically spent the drought catching up on everything. So yeah, that’s for the context. And everything was… overwhelming. I mean Timmy part alone was overwhelming for me. It was the first time I saw him (even trough streaming)… I was about to say in his natural environnement because it felt like it – but in full working mode you know ? As for the Charmie moments… Favorite part is hands down the hug at the BB afterparty. Timmy was on top of the world that night and Armie had such a rushed day. Didn’t he have a play earlier this day ? A delayed flight ? A erratic-rushed promo for HM ? And yet he still stop by Timmy’s party just for him ? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember seeing a picture of Armie with anyone else at that party ? We wouldn’t have even know for sure he was there if it wasn’t for this blurry picture. And what this pic is showing ? That level of enthusiasm ? I mean it wasn’t like “I haven’t see you since forever so let’s reunite like there’s no tomorrow”. They saw each other like 2 days before from what we know. For me it was all about the eager to share the high from joy and excitement Timmy was certainly feeling with a loved one and the pride and true happiness you can see on Armie’s face.Other than that… date-night-stories were cute and silly and seeing them hang out together was cool but my second favorite part was to watch them talk about each other when they were on their own (with Variety for Armie and with… I don’t remember who with Timmy while he was talking about going to see Armie on SWM). Both of their face light up the exact same way every time they talk about each other. The smiles and the shining eyes and the excitement ? It’s something you can’t fake or stage, not with that level of spontaneity. I would trade any rehearsal make-out story for the blurry pic or these few seconds of interview. This is on that kind of details I base my shipping (in any way you want to see the ship).Governors awards was… quite something as well. I think I saw everything while waking up the day after (thanks time zone) and like for HFA I was like… Am I in fanfictions world again ? The “lover/Oliver” part was cute but because we don’t really have a context for it except for a tweet and a low-quality video, I mostly take it like a way to have fun, joking around and play in fanfictions. My favorite part of the night was the red-carpet scene. First, both of the outfits were so on point it was beautiful 😍. But mostly, Armie’s behavior. For me Timmy was really is true kitten-self but again, the way Armie lights up when Timmy came closer ? The way he seems to reach out to circle Timmy’s waist like I haven’t seen him do with anyone else except for his wife ? It felt so easy and with Timmy. I’ve watched those videos/gifs an unhealthy amount of time and I don’t see any moment where he thinks through what his about to do. He instinctively does it, that’s all. And Timmy’s gesture to put him back in place with the hand of his chest is overly cute. And I’m not even mentioning Armie chasing after him when he walks away 😍

MY GOD that was a lot of rambling. But here you go, that summarize most of my thoughts about these two events :) Thank you for asking !

soy anon here.. you really just went hmm let's see how many tragic events can we fit into one person and let's find out if she'll handle it... like with every next chapter i was like no❤. but she did handle it and idk, i just love this story so much. personally, i find a strange comfort in all the uni aus so they'll always be my favorite but this one is amazing in terms of character portrayal and development. the way you shaped the mc, the complexity of description of her character is really admirable and it's what makes the story so special. i was so happy to read about her changing for the better and fighting for herself and to just read about all the positive outcomes from all the bad situations. i truly thought at some point that there's no way out for her from the shithole she found herself in but there was and it's the best. soy really is a fic to be proud of 💖 i've also read baby blue and ow my heart's been squeezed and twisted once again and once again i'm glad i could read such a beautiful story. i'm onto the next one now 💙 (btw this year's jingle ball harry is my baby blue harry and you can't change my mind 😌)

I like the inclusion of Kendrick's DNA which is both entirely in keeping with his hiphop tastes but also works like a little inside joke; I'm very into the 2Pac and Eminem, both songs I loved so much when I was younger; and I'm emotional about Dead! Also the inclusion of MCR and Lil Peep make me think that I'm not imagining the emo/post-punk influence on "Sea" and I'm into it. tl;dr I love this mixtape and I love RM.

In conclusion: rap line slays again, with the greatest of ease, and Namjoon is clearly the MVP.

I know it's not a competition but I find it pretty interesting that rap line came up with 3 very good mixtapes, which perfectly adhere to the rules; and vocal line (minus JK) just… did their own post-mixtape thing. By 'post-mixtape' I mean, we're not limited anymore by format and time, or access to material, thanks to digital formats and streaming libraries. Vocal line reflects that freedom, with all the good and bad that comes with it - whereas rap line shows what you can do, how you can be creative within the restriction of the form.

Who are micro influencers?

Different definition exists, but in general micro-influencers fall between celebrities and top tier mainstream influencers. They do not boast a huge follower base, usually having around 10,000 to 50,000. Of course, according to different brands and market size, the follower size of a micro influencer could go as low as 5,000 or even up to 100,000.

However, micro influencers have similar traits. They are social media content creators/ personas who grow their following with a niche and visual appeal, targeted at specific interests for example: fitness, baking, arts and illustration, fashion and travel.

Why micro influencers?

They have small but very targeted and dedicated followers

As compared to celebrities who may reach a wide audience but their diverse mix of follower base comes from all walks of life, can brands be sure that most of them are the consumers they are looking for?

They are more authentic and convincing

As compared to mega celebrities, yes they do provide the wide reach and brand awareness but do consumers really believe in them for promoting a certain product? A pop singer endorsing a professional camera? Does she even shoot? In comparison to a micro influencer who is a dedicated photographer and showcases his beautiful visuals on his account, who is more convincing?

While top celebrities and influencers could simply post with a bottle of drink in hand, these micro influencers would go that extra mile and effort to brainstorm and craft the perfect photo with a personal touch.

In addition, most of these micro influencers are relatively new to brand endorsement. This is the perfect time for brands to capture them and even make them an ambassador. These fresh faces are essentially a “blank canvas” that could help shape a brand with you. In stark contrast for top celebrities and influencers with a long list of endorsement history, their account and followers may have already been exposed to a saturated level of brands.

They have higher engagement and performance (LOWER cost per engagement!)
