BAKUGOU’S MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Summary: Bakugou’s been going through hell ever since the breakup. He’s been so lost without you. But he’s willing to do whatever it takes to win back his Teddy bear. Everything and anything for the love of his life.
*Everyone is of age for legal consent (which is 16 in Japan, if you are uncomfortable with it please move along, thx<3)*
A/N: Bakugou is a little OOC but the main thing in the beginning starts with fixing up Katsuki a little bit. So sorry if you don’t really enjoy it all that much<3
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Melancholy music bounces off the walls of the dark room. The river of tears that flow down his once perfect porcelain skin is everlasting. As he lays in the soft bed, staring at the ceiling, he thinks about all he could’ve done better for you. In his hand, the same framed picture of you both that he’s held onto every night ever since the horrible incident. Y/N L/N. Like a song that’s stuck on loop. It’s the only thing that runs through his mind.
The door swiftly opens, and much to his disliking, a massive amount of light now enters the former den of manliness pit of depression.
To show his displeasure, Bakugou rolled himself in the blankets, covering his entire body in them and being the picture inside with him as well. With different circumstances, Y/N would’ve thought it was cute or adorable, but it wasn’t Y/N that opened the door.
“Really Bakubro?” The blonde’s best friend spoke.
Eijirou Kirishima. The best friend of our dearest sad boy. He’s been letting his Bakubro crash in his dorm room because Katsuki refuses to clean his own. It looks exactly the same as it did on Valentine’s Day. Just a little different.
Rose petals were dead and dried up on his floors, candles were nearly melted to the bottom as they lay everywhere in the room, the curry was thankfully thrown out by Kirishima claiming that he could smell the spoiled aroma all the way from his room. But the presents, letter, and new gear stayed in the exact same spots. Bakugou didn’t feel worthy enough to be blessed with all the stuff but he was oh so desperate to be worthy. Worthy of your time, your love, and you in general.
Bakugou let out a grumbled whine of displeasure. He could feel the disappointment and concern radiating off his friend. As Katsuki poked just his face out of the covers, he was met with the expression that represented those two things.
“You can’t keep living like this bro,” Kirishima began, “You can’t keep hallowing in sadness in my room. I wanna help you, but you gotta help yourself too. Ever since you and Y/N split-“ Bakugou quickly interrupted.
“We didn’t split, she left me!” The blonde cried.
“...Right, okay. Well ever since Y/N left you, you’re not the same. You stay in here, playing the same damn sad tunes, covering yourself in my blankets, crying all day, and holding onto that picture! You haven’t even been to class or training! Shit man, you don’t even come out of my room to eat food! I gotta bring your plate here just to make sure that you’re properly fed. You’re a mess Bakugou. And not even the hot kind!” His best friend was right. He was a mess. And not even the hot kind.
“Well what the hell am I supposed to do shitty hair?” Bakugou said while dragging the covers over his face once more. Inside the blanket he held onto the picture as if it were actually you.
The fake red head snatched the covers off of his friend’s body and forced him up.
The said friend didn’t take too kindly to that and growled in displeasure.
“What the fuck Kirishima,” Bakugou said, a little to calm and chilling.
“Dont give me that bull Katsuki. You gotta get her back. I would say move on, but it’s clear you can’t.” Kirishima said while rolling his eyes.
Bakugou mirrored the action and said “yea no shit genius. I can’t and won’t move on.”
“So then go get her man!” Kirishima yelled
“And how the fuck am I supposed to do that? Huh?!” Bakugou was so confused. In what way was it going to be possible to win you back?
“Figure it out! Look Bakugou, I’ll be here to help you along the way, but you gotta figure this shit out on your own. This is your relationship here, if you want it as bad as you claim you do then prove it. You want Y/N back? Then fight for her, idiot!” The blonde’s eyes seemed to go wide.
Two words stuck out to Katsuki during his friend’s little speech. Prove it. Fuck yeah he will! He’ll prove to the whole damn universe how much he wants you back. More importantly, he’ll prove it to you and win you back.
The iconic Bakugou smirk reappeared on Katsuki’s face. Kirishima took it as a good sign. “Alright shitty hair, you want me to prove how badly I want Y/N back. FINE!” The two friends pulled the iconic bro hug to seal the deal.
(You know? That shit that guys do where they high five and pull each other in with that one hand for the quickest hug and pat each other on the back? You know what I’m talking about.)
“Welcome back Katsuki.” Kirishima gladly stated. “Now get the fuck out of my room man, I’m sick of sleeping on the common room couches and you reek. Take a shower. And get your own clothes from your own room.”
As Kirishima pushed him out into the hallway and shut the door, it hit Bakugou like a bus. This would be Katsuki’s first challenge. Going back into the room filled with the torn love.
As Katsuki opened the door holding onto the picture, he felt his heart sink. He saw the damage. Melted candles, dried petals, the gifts and letter. Even the nasty smell of the spoiled curry still remained. As Katsuki gathered the courage to walk in and place the picture on the messy nightstand, it’s like the room was holding onto some sad emotions. Heartache and regret filled Katsuki’s chest. He couldn’t believe how fast it happened. He thought he would at least have a minute or two before he felt the pain again. Man, did it hurt like hell.
Katsuki dashed to his closet grabbing the first things he saw. He grabbed his shower container that held all his soaps and cleaning utensils and ran out the room, shutting the door. Once out, he let out a breath of relief.
“...after I clean myself up, the room’s next.” Katsuki said with determination as he walked towards the boy’s community showers and bath house.
When the hot water hit his skin, he felt a sense of calm. It wasn’t the same as the warmth of Kirishima’s blankets. It was better. The water and hot steam completely engulfed him in relaxation. The water washed away not only the dirt and grime, but also some of the tense feelings. For a moment, he felt at ease.
As Katsuki walked out the bathing area now fully clothed and dried, he made his way back to his room. He stood there, staring at the knob until he felt he was ready. Once he opened the door, the emotions hit him once again. Like a wave of sadness washed over his entire body. Finally, he stepped in.
First things first. Open up these windows. Let out that disgusting air filled with spoiled curry and sad emotions. When Katsuki took a breath a fresh air, he felt so alive. Much better than he has in days.
Now, we gotta move stuff. Katsuki picked up his dirty laundry and put it in his closet to wash later. He moved all his presents up off the floor and onto the bed. He swepted all the dead petals and toss them in his trash can. He threw out all the ruined candles and sprayed the room with air fresheners. He fixed up his bed and placed the picture frame back on his now cleaned nightstand. Next to it, a lit candle that smelled of caramel.
Katsuki took a seat at his desk. He was back to thinking about Y/N and all that he could do to win her back. As he checked his clock, he realized just how late it was. Kirishima came back to him at the end of class and training which was around 6. He spent an hour talking to Katsuki, and then Katsuki spent 4 hours cleaning himself and his room. It was 11:00 now. Way past his usual bed time. He’ll figure things out in the morning.
Katsuki smiled to himself as he layed in his own bed. He was finally on the right track again and one step closer to getting his teddy bear back. He turned to the picture frame, and grabbed onto it, hugging it while he slept. Katsuki was getting better but he wasn’t whole again. He needed Y/N to help him sleep alright, so holding the picture at night will have to do. He couldn’t wait till he woke up in the morning. Tomorrow he had school, he’ll get to see Y/N’s beautiful face for the first time in awhile, but before that, you bet your ass he’s waking up extra early to come up with a plan.
——————————————————————————
The next morning
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *click!*
The blonde smacked his alarm button before he rose up and stretched his body. Today was the day. He’s gets to see Y/N again. Bakugou just sits in place staring at nothing. Just taking 2 minutes to regain full consciousness. Once he’s set, he’s up and getting ready. It’s 4 in the morning now, so he begins to strategize.
Katsuki is pulling out easels and white boards. Pulling out notebooks and writing down facts. What Y/N is interested in, her favorite hobbies and foods, where she likes to spend her time, what she could need help with that Bakugou could assist her with. He’s also writing down the highlights of their relationship and what she seemed to enjoy best about him. He’ll be keeping that as a reference for when he needs to reassess on how he should treat her better. He will do better this time. That’s a promise to himself and you.
After half an hour of slightly struggling, he reaches out for help. Now at 4:30 a.m, here was the blonde knocking at his best friend’s door.
Rock music is blasting, sweat is flying everywhere and punches are being thrown at a hero. Not just any hero, Crimson Riot! As Kirishima continues to spar with his idol, he’s interrupted by a banging sound.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
“The hell?” The younger red head says. Soon his idol began to fade away.
“Crimson Riot! Hey are you okay sir?!” But it was too late, the man was gone. Now the whole room was waving around. Did Kirishima accidentally mistake his giant jug of water for vodka or something? Soon he was left in nothing but a black abyss. And then....he fell!
“Shitty hair.....Ei....KIRISHIMA!”
“AH!” The red head screamed as he shot up from the bed, head-butting his best friend right then and there. Great, a perfect dream. Ruined.
“Ah, shit!” Bakugou said in pain as he held his now throbbing forehead. “What the fuck?”
“That’s my line Bakugou,” the red head sighed, “Did you break into my room? Jeez man, what the fuck? What are you doing here at.....4:38 a.m?!?!? DUDE!”
“I know, my bad okay? But..I could use some help.” Bakugou whispered the last part so Kirishima had no idea what this man just said.
“What bro?” Kirishima asked.
“I said....I could use some help.” The blonde repeated.
“C’mon man, you’re gonna have to speak u-“
“I need your help, alright?!” Bakugou finally said. Kirishima sighed. His bro really couldn’t wait until later?
“Bakugou, you know I’m always down to help you out but this is too early man. Can we just-“ the blonde quickly added on to what he was previously saying.
“Please.”
Kirishima’s eyes shot open after he closed them to drift off back to sleep. Did the Katsuki Bakugou just ask for help by saying please? This must be extremely important.
“......alright. You got me, I’m up. But if I’m gonna be up at 4 in the morning, others are gonna be helping us too.” Kirishima bargained.
“But-“ Kirishima cut him off
“But nothing. Besides, I’m drowsy in the morning so I wouldn’t really focus all that well. And we’re just going to the people we can trust.” The red head explained.
“Fine.” The blonde gave in. So there they went, gathering the other members of the Bakusquad (minus Y/N) to help Bakugou win back his girl.
As the 4 sleepy heads sat down on Bakugou’s floor infront of the whiteboard he wrote on, The blonde began to explain some of his plans.
“So I was thinking of treating her real nice all day until she takes me back and we become friends again, eventually leading to our relationship, but then I realized she’d be into a fake me and we all know I can’t pull the nice guy act forever. Then I thought I’d spoil her with all of the things she desires, but money can’t buy you love. So I thought I could-“ Katsuki quickly noticed the long period of silence other than his voice.
There, were his 4 friends sleeping in a dog pile in the middle of his dorm room floor, completely ignoring everything he’s been saying.
Bakugou sighed and grabbed a small “heroes weekly” issue sitting on his desk, rolled it up, and wacked his friends in their heads.
“You idiots...WAKE THE FUCK UP!” Ahh, welcome back Gremlin Bakugou.
As his friends came back from the dead, they all complained.
“Aww c’mon Bakugou. We’ve been at this for an hour already, it’s 5:40.” Sero said while yawning.
“I don’t care. You idiots offered to help so here you are.” Bakugou said while turning to face the board again.
“We didn’t offer shit!” The bakusquad simultaneously replied.
Mina let out a groan while rubbing her eyes open, “Look Bakugou. We really want you and Y/N to be happy together, we really do, but maybe it’s for the best if you guys don-“ Mina was cut off by Denki slapping his hand over her mouth.
As she looked at her electric friend, she saw a nervous expression on his face. She followed his gaze and saw the back of an angry and almost insane looking and shaking Bakugou.
Hearing Mina say that he should let Y/N go triggered something in his brain. But hearing her say they wanted the couple back together enlightened him too. His mind got the two mixed up.
‘Everyone wants us back together. Not just me. So...then we are back together. Yeah. Y/N is still mine’ the now insane blonde thought to himself.
“....Ok well, time to go, get some sleep, see you idiots in the morning!” Bakugou said while pushing the group out of his room. Once they made it over the threshold, he slammed the door.
With an insane plan in mind, Bakugou checked the time and saw he could take at least a good hour long nap before he had to get ready to leave for school. And that’s exactly what he did. So he jumped into the covers, grabbing onto the picture and drifted off into sleep.
——————————————————————————
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *click!*
Bakugou’s alarm rang once more, and again, he slammed it shut. He stretched, got up outta bed and changed into his uniform. That power nap really well rested him, but it also must’ve fucked up his brain even more.
‘And now it’s time to go see my beautiful girlfriend,’ he thought to himself.
After Mina’s comments last night, it hit Bakugou with a great realization. Everyone wanted him and Y/N back together. Not just him. So why not give everybody what they want? Sure maybe Y/N might not completely want it but she’ll learn how to love Bakugou again. Everyone’s happy. And so, Bakugou was convinced that him and Y/N were back together.
At breakfast, Bakugou ran down to already see the Squad up and eating.
“Why the hell do you losers look like death?” He asked while grabbing a cup for his orange juice.
“Well we were all trying to sleep, but after what happened this morning, we couldn’t.” Mina explained.
“What happened this morning? There was nothing big except you guys helping me out.” Kirishima really couldn’t believe it. Had his dear friend not even notice his weird ass trigger moment earlier?
“Alright whatever. Anyway, wheres Y/N?” Bakugou asked after he finished his cup.
“Oh, she just left. She had an early breakfast and went for a quick walk.” Mina said.
“You planning on talking to her today Kacchan?” Denki questioned him.
“You damn Spark Plug, of course I’m gonna talk to my girlfriend today. Fucking idiot.” He said as he grabbed his bag and walked out the kitchen.
“.........Huh?” The entire squad was left in confusion.
‘Had they gotten back together this morning? Did she really accept him back that fast? What the fuck is going on?’ They all thought.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!?” Kaminari cried out as he pulled at and scruffled his hair in confusion.
Ah Denki. Always saying what everyone is thinking but the only one ballsy enough to idiotically say it aloud.
——————————————————————————
As she walked to class, Y/N hummed a little song to herself. She enjoyed her walk as it helped clear her mind from all the recent events. Her breakup with Bakugou really took a toll on her. They were together for almost 2 years (EVER SINCE JUNIOR HIGH) so of course the split hit her hard. He accused her of cheating and burned her. So much for trust, right? Not only that, but the burn left a tiny scar. Usually, due to you having a regeneration ability as part of your quirk, Phoenix, the scar should’ve healed up. Maybe the emotional damage caused it to permanently mark itself in you. Oh well, whats done is done. And now it’s time for class.
When you walked though the door, you were expecting a normal day. Ever since the split, you usually got their a lot earlier before anyone else so you could sit, do a little reading, sketch out a little drawing, or just rest your eyes until the bell rang. Except this time, when you opened the door, someone jumped on you for a hug.
“Babe! There you are you little dumbass. Jeez, I was looking for you everywhere.” Bakugou said as he let go of the hug. “I’ve missed you, haven’t seen you in a few days.”
“Uhm, you said babe??” You spoke with a confused and shocked voice.
“Yeah, I called you babe? So what? We always call each other that. You are my girlfriend after all.” He said so casually as he walked to his seat.
THISMANSAIDWHAATTT
“Uh, Bakugou-“
“Katsuki.” He deadpanned.
“Bakugou, we broke up.” You stated while walking up to him.
“Mm...no we didn’t.” He once again so casually said.
“Wha- I- we- you-....HUH?!” You stuttered out.
“Y/N-“
“L/N!” You corrected.
“Y/N. We didn’t break up you dummy, we only had a little set back and that’s fine. All couples do. But thankfully you forgave me and we’ve moved past it,” he began as he pulled you into his lap, “besides, everyone wants us back together including us so why not make it easier for everyone.”
You began stuttering out none sense right there on his lap. You were in such shock and utter disbelief that he said all that bullshit. Well maybe he was right about one thing. Everyone did want you guys back together, including you both, but that’s besides the point! Y’all broke up! He needs to accept it.
“Baku- no- I- we-“ and before you knew it, his lips were on yours.
And for some reason, you didn’t push him away. Granted you didn’t accept it either, but you slowly melted into it. The kiss was passionate and slow. It wasn’t sloppy, it was very controlled, but it was just a lotta lip and tongue. The whole thing sent butterflies to your heart and stomach. Oh how you missed moments like these with Katsuki.
He readjusted you on his lap so that you were now straddling him. His hands travelled down to your ass as he gave it a nice squeeze, one that made you moan into the kiss. Your arms went straight to his neck to pull him in for more and he took it as an invitation to start. The kiss began to get a little rougher. More tongue and teeth, both of you extremely desperate for the touch from one another. With your cunt pressed onto his crotch, he slowly thrusted up into you as you grinded down slowly on him. You both started breathing heavier and letting out little whimpers of ecstasy. He could probably feel your now soaked panties. One hand left your ass and came around to the front. He pressed on your soaked pussy through your damp underwear and it caused shutters to go through your entire body.
You began pressing down into his hand, desperate for more friction and Bakugou noticed. He moved your panties to the side and slipped in one finger. This was rewarded with a louder moan that caused Katsuki to smile into the kiss. He knew you and your body so well. He was determined to treat you right and get you to fall for him one more time. As his finger felt around your velvet walls, he slipped in another one, receiving an even louder cry of pleasure. You broke off from the kiss to throw your head back. Katsuki saw this as an opportunity to attack your neck. To mark you up and let everyone know you still belonged to him.
“K-Katsuki. Don’t...don’t stop,” you panted.
“I won’t princess, I’ll take care of you.” He smiled.
Without warning, he shoved in 2 more fingers. You were so loud and Bakugou was so proud. You were gonna let everyone know what’s happening and he was excited.
He lifted his head to whisper into your ear as you continued to moan and sigh.
“Well aren’t you just a little slut. You want everyone to know how well daddy takes care of you? You want them to hear you scream in pleasure?” His words went straight to your cunt that was now welcoming in his 5th and final finger. Completely fisting you now, you let out loud cries.
“S-uki, .....ah, AH YES! Mm, s’too much!” You cried out. You couldn’t help it, you loved him. You knew you did. Even though what he did was wrong, your body took over and your mind turned off. You fully succumbed to his wishes.
You let your feet hit the ground to stand yourself up a little bit and fall down onto his fist, meeting the thrust of his hand moving in and out of you. Watching the show, Katsuki couldn’t help but stare in delight. His hard on growing bigger and bigger each second as he bit his lip to hold back his sounds. Watching you bounce on just his fist did something to him and brought out a feral beast. He snapped.
He pulled his fist out of your aching pussy and sat you down on his desk. He stood up infront of you and tore your delicate panties off.
“Katsuki-“ you were silenced with a smack to your ass
“That’s not my name, teddy bear. C’mon now, you know exactly what I wanna hear.” He said while caressing your thighs.
“..Yes daddy.” You bashfully said.
With a kiss to your cheek he praised you.
“Good girl.” As he began to unbuckle his belt, you looked around the classroom.
“D-daddy. Someone’s gonna see!” You cautiously stated.
Katsuki reassured you with a kiss to your lips, “We’ll be fine princess, I promise,” he said while placing his tip at your entrance. You whimpered at the thought of him inside you again, it’s been so long. You were almost nervous. That is until Katsuki place a finger under your chin so you could face him in his eyes.
“I’m gonna take care of you, so don’t worry.” And with that you slowly nodded. And he finally began to press into you.
With just his tip in, you let out a breathy moan. He was bigger than you remembered. He kept pressing and pressing until he was fully inside your warm and tight hole. You both let out a moan at the feeling of each other.
“Daddy, please move.” And he did as he was told. With a steady pace set, he thrusted himself in and out of you. Both of you moaning louder every second. While you were enveloped in the euphoric feeling, Katsuki was struggling to hold back the beast inside of him. That is until you came up to his ear.
“Fuck me like you mean it, daddy. I won’t break, I promise.” You said in his ear and Katsuki swore he could hear your smirk. Gripping your ass and continuing his pace he spoke.
“Don’t be mad when you can’t walk for the next week,” he smirked. With that, he slammed himself deeper, harder, and faster inside of you. His tip hitting your cervix. You let our screams of pure pleasure and he did the same.
“Oh yesss...shit daddy..so big..”
“F-fuck! Oh you like that? Yeah princess? ...oh shit baby your pussy takes me so well. Y-Yeah, your tight little cunt takes this big cock so fucking well,” he moved faster inside, exploring you completely. His hands went straight to your shirt and and ripped it open. You had a few buttons fly everywhere, but you didn’t care. He pushed your bra up and let one of your mounds fall into his hand. He squeezed it tight to release a generous moan from you. He then dove into the valley of breast to mark your chest. You held onto the back of his head and tugged at his hair and he growled at he feeling, enjoying every second of it.
“Oh yess princess just like that. S-shit. Oh fuck yes...oh you’re mine,” he went deeper inside as he spoke.
“Fuck! Daddy yes! Right t-there! Oh my god..yess,” you cried out.
“Can you feel that. Oh fuck, can you feel my dick in your gut?” He moaned out. Katsuki went to grip the edge of his desk as you kept your hold around his neck, causing him to somehow move faster. He went up to taste your lips once more
“I love you....so much princess...you hear me...Mm, your mine,” he said between kisses and ended with a smack to your now red ass.
His words had you squeezing his cock. He knew what was coming.
“Aww, is princess gonna cum? You gonna cum on daddy’s dick?” He teased.
“Mm...p-please daddy. Please let me cum,” you said while throwing your head back. Katsuki only smirked at this.
“Not yet~” he pulled out of you, leaving you a whiny mess.
“N-no! Daddy please! Please let me finish,” you said while holding onto his shoulders, inches away from his face, pressing your chest to his. Your words caused his “little” friend to grow even harder and Katsuki only smirked and looked down at you.
“Dont worry teddy bear, Daddy’s not done with you yet.” He yanked you off the desk and pressed you down onto it, with your chest to the desk. Then he slammed back into you, returning to the fast pace again.
“Fuck yeah..oh god look at this ass. Nice and round, all red for me,” he said while pounding into you.
He gave your ass a good few smacks, countered with a thrust each harder than the last before going to lay his chest on top of you to whisper in your ear.
“You wanna be a good girl for daddy? Huh, teddy bear?” He asked.
“Mmm, yes! Yes I’ll be good, just please!” You cried out. He reached his hand over to rub on your clit. Your body began to shake with pleasure.
“Then cum with me.....NOW,” he said, and that was all it took for you to release the white liquid. As you came you could feel his hot release filling you up to the brim. He cried out in pure pleasure while you did the same.
You both stayed in that position for a bit, and you could feel the mixture of both your release dripping down your inner thighs. Soon, you felt Katsuki lower himself to kiss your neck.
“You did so good princess.” He calmly said to you. It was relieving, and you loved the sound of his voice, but you couldn’t help but feel a little off at this whole ordeal.
Katsuki pulled out of you and watched how his cum covered and filled your entire pussy. He smiled at the sight and went to grabbed some tissue on Aizawa’s desk to clean you and himself up.
He tucked himself back into his pants and you rebuttoned your shirt the best you could and flipped your skirt back down. Since Katsuki tore your panties you’d have to go commando at least until you got back to your room. You watched as Katsuki went to throw away the tissues and your torn underwear into the trash can. When he made his way back to you, he held you in his arms and attempted to kiss you. But you turned away.
“Hey teddy be-“
“No, Katsuki. Please don’t call me that.” You said while looking down. Katsuki felt his heart hurt a little. You’re always gonna be his teddy bear, why would he ever stop calling you that?
“Y/N, what’s wrong?” He asked you.
“Us. This. Katsuki, what happened today should not have happened.” You said
“What?” He was so confused and a little hurt.
As tears start to fill your eyes, you did everything you could to not let them fall. “Suki, we broke up. You accused me of cheating, you burned me! So for us to come in here and just have sex like nothing happened is wrong.”
“Y/N, I’m sorry for what happened. Seriously, after what I did it destroyed me. But please listen, I lov-“ you cut him off again.
“I know!.....I know you do Katsuki.....and I love you too Suki. So much,” this brought a smile to his face. A true, genuine smile that you loved so dearly.
“But I’m scared.” You added on. This made Katsuki’s smile drop, worry and concern fill his eyes.
“Of what exactly?” He asked you while gently holding onto your hand.
“.....You.” This shocked him. His own teddy bear feared him. Heartbreaking.
“I’m scared of the lack of trust that you have for me. And not only that, but your quirk too. Katsuki I know you’re one of the best students here at UA, but I know you’re emotions can get out of hand too. It’s clear that when you’re not in control of your feelings, your quirk can lash out. The evidence is right here,” you turned you arm that he was holding to show him the scar he left on you.
Now this really hurt Katsuki. He loved marking you with his love, not with his anger. The fact that he did that to you sent his mind into a frenzy. Until he felt your touch on his cheek.
Holding onto his cheek with your soft hands, you spoke reassuring words. “Katsuki, you were right about two things. I do want us to be together again and I do forgive you,” and with that, Katsuki leaned into your touch. Holding onto your hand that held his face, he released a single tear he didn’t know he was holding and closed his eyes in relief and satisfaction.
“But I can’t be with you again.” Your words caused him to open his eyes and stare at you in shock and fear. “At least...not yet.”
Whew, his heart rate went back down. Oh the rollar coaster of emotions this poor boy was currently on.
“Yet?” He asked hopefully.
“Suki, I’m still trying to fix myself, and it’s clear that you need to fix yourself too. I really want to be with you, but we both need time to grow for each other. I can’t leave you. I know for sure that in my heart, you’re always gonna be the one I run back to, but I don’t want to run back to someone who could possibly hurt me again. I want to come back to you knowing that when we are together again, our relationship is secured.” You explained.
A silence filled the air. You both stared at each other for what felt like forever. Nobody else in the world. Just you and him. He then pulled you in for a tight hug. As he held onto you, you could feel hot tears hitting your shoulder, and quiet sobs left his voice along with a hitched breath every now and then. Katsuki was crying.
“....I promise you. I’m gonna get better for you. I’m gonna be worthy of you and your love and it’ll stay that way for the rest of our lives. You and me. Together. Im gonna do whatever it takes to get you back and I won’t stop at anything until you’re mine again. I swear I’ll treat you better than I ever did before. As long as I know that you’re coming back to me and me only, I’ll wait for you for as long as it takes teddy bear.” He said into your neck with his arms tightly wrapped around your waist.
“I know you will Suki. And I promise I won’t make you wait too long.” You said while hugging him back.
“You better not.” The blonde said.
“Don’t forget though, I’m always yours. And just yours.” You reassured him.
“......Can we at least make this a little easier for me and say we didn’t split. We’re just on a break. A small break?” He said, now looking directly in your eyes while still holding onto you.
You put his worries at ease with your gentle smile. “The smallest break, Suki.” You softly laughed as you both went back in for another hug.
“........I like it better when you call me daddy,” the damn devil said while smiling.
“Shut up you horny idiot.” You chuckled.
‘I can’t wait to be yours again,’ you both thought
You both stayed there in each other’s embraces until the world faded away. It was just you and him. Together. You were both no longer lost. You weren’t at your destination yet, but you were on the right tracks. One step closer to each other. One step closer to love.
A/N: There’s still a little more I wanna add to the story, so there will be a part 3 to close this little short story. Sorry if there were any spelling mistakes. Thank you guys so much for the love and support. As a new writer I never expected to grow so quickly so I truly love each and every one of you bear cubs! Sorry this was so long, I hope you enjoyed! 💗🧸

Hey.  It’s been a while.  If we were having a conversation, I’d tell you...
The first picture isn’t new.  It’s from Christmas, 2015.  It’s one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken.  I’ve been thinking a lot about New York lately.  I’m 99% sure I’m not going there in March - for different reasons.
The second picture is my desk space in my basement.  I have started and deleted several posts that included this picture.  It feels like I’m sharing a private part of my life (home?).  The rest of my basement might be a total disaster, but this spot?  It’s become really special to me.
Christmas Day marked the 20th anniversary of my mom’s death.  This is the first time I haven’t acknowledged her death anniversary on social media.
Christmas was good.  We celebrate on Christmas Eve.  We always do chili and chicken noodle soup (my mom’s recipes).  This was a tradition even before she died.
The end of the quarter was...not great.  In the last two weeks before break (we went up until Wed, Dec 22), I was back to working long days during the work week and then a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays.  The amount of testing we do IN FIRST GRADE makes my blood boil.
On the first day of break, I woke up at a normal-ish time (maybe 6:00 or 6:30?).  On the second and third days of break?  I slept in until 10:00 a.m.  I rarely sleep in.  I guess I needed the rest.
There are lots of work things I want to have in place when we go back on Wed, Jan 5.  I went in for a few hours on Monday.  My dad was here and he helped.  My therapist’s idea was to go in those last two days of break (next Mon & Tues).  At first I was like, “Um, no, I don’t want to work right before going back.  I’d rather work, then have break.”  But she pointed out (and I 100% agree) that going in a few days this week would lead to me continuing to go in to get more done.  So, I’ll go Monday and Tuesday.  I’ll prioritize what absolutely has to get done, get as much done as I can, and call it good.
I’ve been having lots of hyperfocusing periods lately.  It drives me crazy.  I never (ok, hardly ever) hyperfocus on IMPORTANT shit.  I feel embarrassed by how much time I’ve spent (wasted?) on unimportant things in the last month.  I think that’s one reason why I procrastinate.  I HATE the hyperfocus thing.  Even when it’s on something important/worthwhile, I hate the feeling of not being able to stop until I do/fix just “one more thing.”  When I procrastinate, I’m forced to do the most important things and just get it/them done.
My new washing machine was delivered mid-December.  It’s SOOOOO nice to be able to do laundry without having to be downstairs to (literally) sit on the machine when it get’s too loud.
My hands are soooo dry.  Last year was the first time they ever got really bad.  This year is just as bad (if not worse).  I THOUGHT I had found a great lotion.  It’s called Gloves in a Bottle.  It costs more than I’d usually spend on lotion.  I noticed a significant improvement after using it just once.  Since then, I’ve been unimpressed.
I think my neighbors (that I share a driveway with) are moving.  I’m not sad about that.
Ramsey’s doing good.  I nearly returned him to the cat shelter in the first weeks and months after getting him.  I’m so glad I kept him...even though he can be a little shit.
I don’t really have any New Year’s resolutions this year.  In the past few years I’ve picked a word of the year.  I’m not sure if I’ll even do that this year.
tick,tick...Boom!/Lin-Manuel Miranda/Andrew Garfield...LOVE LOVE LOVE!
How are YOU?  What’s new with YOU?

Question: If you're taking yoi prompts, have you ever written/would you consider writing a sick Otabek? Figured you like him a lot since he's your icon. Plus it's always refreshing to have sickfic content for characters other than the mains.
Hey thanks so much for the prompt! I do love him, he is my precious son. I’ve never thought about an Otabek sickfic but I decided to try it! I find Otabek’s character a bit hard to pin down but I hope I did him justice.
Also, there’s a bit of Otayuri in this. I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Otayuri; for me, I don’t have a strong preference about whether or not they’re romantic or platonic. So I did write about Yurio here, but really you can read it however you want (I kept it pretty open to interpretation I think). There is no Yurio whump here though (I doubt I could ever write whump for him, lol).
Just over 2k. Enjoy!
Otabek’s alarm went off at 6:00 a.m. Approximately two hoursafter he had finally gone to bed.
Normally, Otabek was smarter than that. When he got offersto DJ at a club on a weekday, during training season, he always turned it down(it didn’t stop people from asking, though; apparently he had quite thereputation). Why would people want a DJ for a Tuesday night, anyway? It seemedthe party  in Almaty never slept.
Lately, however, everything had been going wrong. He hadbeen falling on his jumps in practice more often than not, to the point wherehis coach was growing concerned. His short program for the coming season wasnearing competition, but his free skate was still a complete mess. Thechoreography refused to work, no matter how many times he reordered things. Itlooked like he was going to have to scrap it altogether.
Plus, he woke up a few days before with his throat feelinglike sandpaper. It sent a wave of dread through him. This was not what he needed right now.
So when a friend had reached out about playing at a club,Otabek threw caution to the wind and said yes. Nothing else was working, butmaybe a successful show would finally knock his head back into place.
For the most part, it did. He was able to forget all about triple axels and quad salchows and getting sick in the middle of trainingseason quite well with the bass pounding in his chest and the free alcohol(despite the fact that he was underage, but really, nobody cared if the DJbroke a law or two, as long as the party didn’t stop).
Of course, that had been a mere three hours ago. He had managedto get a little bit of sleep to avoid another all-nighter before practice(hiscoach had threatened him in many colourful ways the first time he tried that) but he certainly hadn’t done hisbody any favours.
His alarm was still ringing in his ears, exacerbating theheadache that hadn’t quite faded. Sitting up slowly, he put a hand to his headas the room started to spin. Am I stilldrunk?
No, he hadn’t had enough to be hungover. He may have been anidiot by going out, but he wasn’t that dumb.
Sighing, Otabek rubbed his throbbing temples. The time onhis phone said 6:10. He didn’t need to be at the rink until 8. Surely he couldsleep a little longer, at least to get rid of this headache. He decided to liedown and close his eyes for another half hour or so.
Not two minutes later, it seemed, his phone started to ring.Groaning, he pulled it off his bedside table. It was his coach. He frowned abit, but answered.
“Where areyou??” Came the annoyed voice on the phone.
“What—” Otabek took the phone away from his ear longenough to see the time: 9:28 a.m.
Shit.
Shit.
“I’m sorry,” Otabek said earnestly, wincing whenhis voice came out more like a hoarse whisper than a heartfelt apology. Hetried clearing his throat. It didn’t help. “I’ll be there in—”
“Were you outlast night?”
This stopped Otabek in his tracks.
Shiiiiit.
“I only meant to sleep a little longer,” Otabeksaid, trying not to sound like a pleading child. “I’ll make up for ittoday, I’ll stay late, I’ll pay you double for the day—”
There was a sigh on the other end of the phone. “Hang on, just stop for a second.” Thevoice was much gentler now. ”I knowyou’ve been frustrated lately, but I wish you would ask for help rather thantaking your frustrations out on cheap alcohol and loud music.“
Shame turned Otabek’s cheeks red.
”I’ll meet youhere at 10, and we’ll have a short day. Do not worry about fees. I just want tohelp you.“
Swallowing the fire in his throat, he agreed.
~~~~
Otabek woke the next morning feeling, somehow, even worsethan the day before. His sore throat had evolved into  a grating cough which no amount of water woulddispel, and his head pounded so hard it felt like a bass drum.
His second alarm went off at 6:30 (after yesterday’s fiasco,he set four alarms to make sure he got up on time). With a groan, he switchedit off and dragged himself to the shower. When he finally arrived at the rink,his coach took in his pale complexion and weak voice with a raised eyebrow, butsaid nothing.
Practice was even more grueling than normal: Otabek feltcompletely drained by the end. His body had a heavy, groggy feeling that madeit hard to concentrate, and he was blowing his nose twice as much as normal.
Usually Otabek waspretty hardy when it came to illness, but his frustration at everything hadgotten the better of him, and he was ignoring his body screaming at him to slow down! Even now, when he had to stopmidway through his routine to cover his awful sounding coughs again, he refused to take it easy.
Distantly, he heard his coach sigh.  "I thought you were hungover yesterday,but it seems you’re not well.”
Otabek stiffened at the accusation. So he wasn’t feelingwell. So he could barely breathe without coughing and the room was beginning tospin. It was nothing. He could pushthrough.
A hand appeared in Otabek’s vision, cool on his forehead.His coach tsked. Otabek just shook itoff, scowling. “I’m fine.”
“Sure you are. Now go home.”
Otabek opened his mouth to protest some more, but he wasswiftly cut off. “No, I don’t want to hear it. You’ve been a mess latelyand now you’re neglecting your health. Go home, get some rest, and come backwhen you’re better.”
Obviously Otabek didn’t look convinced, because his coachcontinued, “Or you can stay here, work yourself into the ground, and getnowhere. While infecting everyone around you. Is that what you want?”
Otabek blinked, shocked. He had been doing his best to stayaway from his rink mates and cover his mouth, but what if it wasn’t enough? Heput a hand to his forehead, embarrassed. “I’m sorry,” he said softly.
His coach sighed again. “No, I’m sorry. That was toofar.” Otabek felt the weight of his coach’s hand on his back. “I knownothing seems to be working out, but this is not the solution. You need to takecare of yourself. So go home, get some rest, and we’ll start again when you’rehealthy.”
Otabek hesitated for a moment, but nodded in the end.
It turns out his coach’s advice was sound, as he barely hadthe energy to walk back to his apartment. Dragging himself through the door andtrudging to his room, he barely had the energy to change out of his practiceclothes before collapsing into bed and promptly passing out.
His phone, however, had other ideas.
The shrill sound of his ringtone cut through his fitfulsleep, and he groaned as the pain behind his eyes spiked anew. Turning towardhis nightstand, his phone told him two things: that it had only been a fewhours since he got home, and that Yuri Plisetsky was calling.
Ah, shit. In hishalf asleep state, he had completely forgot about his agreement to have a chatwith Yuri tonight. Sighing at his own incompetence, he hit the answer button. “Hey, Yuri.”
“Whoa, you soundwrecked,” came the greeting from the other end. “Were you out last night or something?”
Why did everyone assume that because he was a DJ, he waspartying every night?
Well….he was outa few days ago. Bitterly, he supposed it was a fair assumption after all.
“No,”Otabek replied. He held the phone away from his face as he coughed harshly.“Just a bit sick.”
“Oh,”Yuri said, sounding a bit surprised. “Areyou….uh, are you ok?”
Otabek couldn’t help but laugh a bit at Yuri’s somewhatfretful tone, which turned into another wet sounding cough. “I’ll be fine.It sounds worse than it is.”
“Yeah.”Yuri sounded unsure. “Did you, like,take your temperature or anything?”
Huh, that actually wasn’t a bad idea. “Not yet,”Otabek said, “I passed out as soon as I got home from practice.”
“Shit, did I wakeyou up?” Yuri sounded upset. ”Ishould have texted you first, ugh.“
“No, no, it’s ok,” Otabek said, rubbing his tiredeyes and sitting up in bed. “I should have let you know I was going to bedearly.” It seemed everything really was going wrong. He couldn’t even be ahalf decent friend.
“It’s ok,”Yuri said.
Otabek pushed the covers back and stood, blinking rapidlywhen black spots appeared in his vision. There was silence on the phone for amoment while he tried to get his bearings, and he stumbled a bit on the way tothe bathroom. Now that he was up and moving, he desperately wanted to blow hisnose, but didn’t want Yuri to hear (and be any more grossed out than heprobably already was), so he resorted to sniffling as quietly as he could.
He didn’t want Yuri to have to wait in awkward silence whilehe looked for his thermometer (when was the last time he even used the damnthing?). Clearing his throat—wincing at the raw feeling there—he asked,“How is training going?”
This, predictably, sent Yuri into a spiraling rant about “Victor goddamn Nikiforov thinks he’sSO GREAT and that PIG worships the ground he walks on it’s absolutely pathetic—”which allowed Otabek to dig through his bathroom cabinets. Despite Yuri’s angrytone, Otabek knew he didn’t actuallymind that much. Having Katsuki around was good for him, Otabek knew, from themultitude of texts he got about how well practice was going. Otabek hadn’tknown him long, but he knew that Yuri secretly looked up to Katsuki, and thathe maybe even enjoyed the sudden burst of activity Katsuki ended up bringing tothe St. Petersburg rink.
About halfway through Yuri’s colourful rendition of howVictor was an absolute prick, Otabek finally found his thermometer. Washing itoff quickly, he stuck it in his mouth just as Yuri was asking, “Can you believe the shit I have to dealwith?!”
Otabek couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. “Soundsterrible,” he said, the words a bit muffled by the thermometer. It beepedsoon after, the sound louder than he anticipated.
“Was that yourthermometer?” Yuri asked.
"Yeah,” Otabek replied, looking at the numbers.101. He couldn’t help the frustrated noise that escaped him.
Yuri was silent for a moment. “Is it….bad?”
“No,” Otabek said honestly. It wasn’t that bad,but his fevers always tended to stick around longer than his other symptoms. Itjust meant more time away from the rink.
“Well….”Yuri started, a bit unsure. “This isgonna sound dumb, so like, don’t listen to me if it’s stupid or whatever—”
“What is it?” Otabek asked, rubbing his nose withhis palm, sniffling quietly.
“You’veseemed….frustrated, lately,” Yuri said tentatively. “Like…you’ve been doing too much. Pushingyourself too hard. That’s probably why you got sick. Maybe…..this time awaywill help?”
Otabek was silent for a moment. He thought he hadn’t beencomplaining to Yuri that much, that he’d been pushing his concerns far enoughaway that no one else would notice. Clearly, that wasn’t the case. Because Yurinoticed.
Wait. Was Yuri….worried about him?
A sigh came through the phone. ”That was stupid, I know, just forget about it.“
"No, no,” Otabek said. “You’re….probablyright, actually. I have beenfrustrated. I might just need some time. Clear my head.” At this, hisbreath began to hitch, and he pulled the phone away to sneeze twice into hiselbow.
Yuri sighed a bit. “Yousound like shit. Go back to bed, dude. I can call you when you’re better.”
“Yeah,” Otabek replied, wincing at the evenrougher sound of his voice.
“And…..text me.When you wake up. Let me know you’re still alive.”
Otabek huffed a small laugh. “I will.”
They hung up, and Otabek finally got to blow his nose. SoYuri wanted him to text when he woke up….maybe he was worried after all.Otabek felt a bit bad for worrying him.
But also, it was kind of nice that someone cared.
He trudged back to his bed, making a quick note on his phoneto buy some cold meds the next day. As he was finishing, a message from Yuricame up: it was a cat meme, with no context, of course. Was he trying to makeOtabek feel better?
Otabek smiled at the thought. Sending a quick“LOL” to Yuri, he put his phone down, crawled back under the covers,and was out within minutes.
“I had the baby.”
Those four words were the only ones that danced around in Saint’s head as he boarded the first flight to Washington. He hadn’t heard anything from Cassi in months, and now all of a sudden she called to let him know she was pregnant. The first thing that came to his mind was the paternity of the child. Yeah, she more likely than not wanted him to be the father, but was it the truth? The one reason he stopped, and didn’t ask her was due to the pain in her voice. She needed him to be right there while she pushed, and she was scared. Her family was in the background, but she needed him.
It was crazy how life was playing out this year, and he couldn’t believe that he was getting the one thing from her that he always asked for, a kid. Under all the worry, haste, and just wanting to get there he was ready to step into fatherhood with no second guessing. It showed him that he was favored, and that he needed patience. The one thing he wasn’t going to bring up while in Washington was the fact that he slept with Azure. That would only make this great moment sour and potentially get him kicked out the room. Antsy was an understatement.
Cassi wasn’t thinking clearly when she left town without telling anybody where she was going. In all honesty she had no idea where she was going to go, so when she got to the bus station the first bus out was to New Orleans. She’d always wanted to go, and dive into the club scene and get shit faced. However, on this trip she had a bundle of joy that was stopping her from doing any partying. She stayed in New Orleans for about a week until she finally broke down. Being out there alone without Saint was a wakeup call, and with everything that happened she knew calling him would only make things more messed up than they already were. Instead she called her mother, and within a couple days she was in Washington.
Cassi had forgotten how being surrounded by family felt. The last time she ate a home cooked meal made by her mother was back in high school before she left for college. Paired with a hot meal was words of wisdom, and the first thing her mother told her was to call Saint. She wanted to badly, but in the back of her mind she owned up to the fact that she was sleeping with two different men raw. That was a part of the story that she left out, because that lecture was going to have to come another day.
When her water broke, and it was time to push she couldn’t. She needed the best friend that she’d taken advantage of for years. It was a reality check that showed her that she needed, and loved him more than she ever thought. She finally broke down when it was time to have the baby, and gave him call. After she made the call she planned on trying to hold out until he got there, but Amiyah Erics had other plans.
Sunday 5:00 p.m.
The last week had been a crazy one for Zeus. After he shot up the restaurant the crew was hiding just in case the cops came looking in their direction. Now he knew Gabriella never pulled the trigger off emotion, so her retaliation was going to take time and when she did hit back he was going to feel it. He knew what he was getting himself into when he killed all her people, but he was prepared to do what needed to be done to show a few people some manners. That’s the only reason he did what he did to Selena. He hadn’t ran into her personally, but the streets were saying how she was out walking like she was untouchable. He took the opening, and hit her family with a two piece. Not only did he take out the prince, but he also could do the same to the princess if they weren’t careful.
“I’m a step out for a smoke.” He got up from his chair.
The barbershop was starting to wind down, and the sun was getting ready to set. One of his soldiers had some information that he needed to drop off. Zeus walked over to the side of the building, and took a seat on the crate.
“Wassup.” He dapped him up.
“Shit, you know doing what I can to stay alive. How you feeling?” The soldier surveyed the streets as the two of them talked.
“Chillin, chillin. So what you got for me.” He lit his cigarette
He looked down at Zeus, because he was hesitant to give him the information that he had.
“Nigga speak. Don’t get shook on me now. If it’s that bad it’s important.” He looked up at him, and could tell by his demeanor that whatever it was it was going to piss him off.
“Well I had my people look into the whole snitch thing, and they found something.”
Zeus’ was intrigued.
“What they find?”
“Apparently you know the nigga. It’s Roman’s dad.”
Zeus’ heart skipped a beat. “What? You’re positive?”
“Yeah, they got him out in South Dakota on witness protection.”
A million, and one scenarios started to play in his head. The snake was right next to him the entire time he was searching for the culprit. He couldn’t believe that he told his dad about everything that happened that night. He knew Roman’s dad wasn’t made for the streets, but he thought by Roman being around him 24/7 that would have made him into a street guy. It looked like his plan backfired on him, and he was the cause for him being locked up.
“Who all knows this?” He took a drag from the cigarette.
“Just me, and my connect.”
“Aight, keep it like that. I don’t need anybody else finding out, and fucking my shit up. I need to handle this on my own.” He dropped the cigarette, and stepped on it. “Yall got eyes on him?”
“Yeah, he’s at his sister’s dudes house.”
“Aight, good work. I’m a definitely drop something off to you later. Also, be prepared to take a bigger role out here.”
“No doubt.”
The two men dapped each other up before they went their separate ways. Zeus was at a crossroads, because Roman was like his brother. This wasn’t a regular snitch that he could off for running his mouth. This was somebody that he let into his life, and vice versa. Their families were family, so he couldn’t sit in his mother’s face and act sad about his death. However, the streets had rules that needed to be followed or others were going to think they could get out of line. Zeus had a life changing decision he had to make, and he had to do it fast.
6:00 p.m.
Roman’s mind was going back and forth for the past couple days about what he was going to do about Monty. Each night around the same time he would park up the street from his house, and just sit in anger. Every time he saw him come, and go it would piss him off more. Everybody had blown up his phone to see where he was at, but that didn’t distract him. There were prices that people had to pay for their actions, and it was about time the bill collector started to make house visits.
He exited the car with the 9mm tucked away in his pants, and a brick in his hand. Roman thought about shooting him as soon as he opened the door, but then he thought about having fun with everything. Once he reached the door he rang the doorbell, and covered the peep hole. He heard from the other side him ask who it was, but didn’t answer. When he felt the door start to open he tightened his grip around the brick, and chucked it at his head when the door was fully open.
Monty had no idea what hit him literally, and right on impact it split his forehead open.
“Yeah bitch. Back in the house, and lets not try no funny shit.” He pulled the gun out of his waistband, and walked into the house.
“Wait, wait. I know what I did was fucked up.” Monty tried to plead with him.
What he did to Gigi tore him up inside, and for the past couple days he wasn’t able to sleep at all. He nearly killed her, and  hadn’t gone to check up on her at all. What he did didn’t sit well with him so much that he took himself off of the case. Things got messy quick, and if they ever brought this to court everything would be brought into question based off of the act he committed in rage.
“This is what I’ve been waiting for. Please, plead to me why I shouldn’t kill you off right now? Go ahead, and tell me you had no other option.?” He laughed devilishly.
A small part of him wanted to hear what he had to say for himself. He wasn’t blaming Monty for feeling the way he did, but he left Gigi there to die. Even the him from before would have left her in some kind of shape to pick herself up off of the floor.
“C’mon man you can’t stand there, and honestly say you would have did different.” He walked backwards into the living room.
“That’s my sister, so at the end of the day you forced my hand. Did you expect me not to come after you?” He asked a rhetorical question. “How the hell did you not even know?”
“Have you seen you sister? That’s a women, and with everything that happened I can’t get her out of my head. I think I l-.”
“Man, don’t even give me that, I love her, bullshit. Love don’t do the shit you did. Have you gone to see your damage? When I went she was in a coma.” He stared at him intensely so he could feel the pain coming from his body.
“It isn’t bullshit. I really do love her. I was drunk, and wasn’t ready to accept the fact that I could love who she really was, and still be me.”
Roman could understand where he was coming from, but that didn't negate the fact that Gigi was his sister. He cocked the gun back, and Monty’s hands raised up.
“Wait, you can't pull that trigger.” He swallowed hard, and knew that what he was about to say was going to change everything. “I'm an undercover cop.”
“Nigga what? Shut that stupid shit up.” Roman wasn't here for the games.
“I'm serious. I was investigating the murder of Juan.”
“That murder has been solved.”
“Right, but when evidence goes missing people start to pay attention. Then Zeus got out on probation, and they started investigating it again. We know all about your dad, but from what I've gathered it wasn't your dad but you.”
Monty didn't want to give away his purpose for being here, but it was a life or death moment.
“You're a cop?” He was trying to process everything that was said to him.
“Yea.”
“Did G know?” He relaxed his grip on the gun.
“No, I wasn't supposed to get as close to her as I did.” He noticed Roman relaxing, and inched closer to the bookshelf.
“What the fuck?! Damn.” Without thinking he lowered the gun.
Monty saw his opening and took it. The hidden gun tucked on the side of the bookshelf he grabbed, and pointed it at Roman but not before Roman saw what he was doing, and pointed his gun at him.
“Nobody has to die here Roman. Let's work something out.”
Monty stared at him hoping he would go along with what he had in mind.
6:32 p.m.
“Look at my fucking face!”
The ambush happened about a week ago, and Selena seemed like the only one that was enraged about it. She knew Zeus was an idiot, but she didn’t think that he would ever come after her. Her mother told her she should keep a low profile, but with her career she figured nobody would suspect her involvement in the street war.
“I know Selena, but we don’t kill children. That’s been the golden rule, think again.” Her mother sat at her desk looking over the many papers scattered across it.
“The golden rule?! You threatened to take his daughter, but now I can’t kill her. Are you fucking kidding me?” She was confused, irritated, and pissed.
She was always respectful to her parents, beccause she understood the power the both of them held. However, with this matter she gracefully crossed that line. She could tell it offended her mother by how slow her head raised.
“Siéntate, hija mía.” Gabriella took off her reading glasses.
Selena was going to try her patience, but went against it.
“Telling him we were going to take his daughter was a scare tactic. I knew that he was going to get paranoid, and take her out of town. Now being as smart, and three steps ahead of him like I am I had somebody follow his little family, so when I need to scare him again I can send him pictures of his family. I doubt I will need to now, because he has crossed a line that can’t be forgiven. However, you plan to take over one day so learning patience and being able to come up with the right move is vital. Retaliation right now is a must, but think of another way. Who else does he love dearly.”
Selena thought and thought about her mother’s question. Then it came to her, Azure. He loved that women like they were married. If anything was to happen to her he would lose his mind. There was just one problem, she actually liked Azure and knew she had nothing to do with this.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“She has nothing to do with any of this.” Selena said to her mother.
“In a war there are innocent casualties, and she will be one of them.” Gabriella pulled a burner phone out of her desk drawer.
“I won’t do it.” She stood up, ready to exit.
“If you don’t this empire will not be yours. Your father has been waiting for you to step up to the throne ever since your brother was killed. He’s waiting for you to make smart moves that matter. None of the irrelevant things you’ve been doing. Make the call, and I’ll make sure by tomorrow this empire will be yours and you will be sitting in my seat.” Her mother flipped the phone open, and offered it to her.
It was up to Selena to choose power, or an innocent life.
8:13 p.m.
What Zeus had to do was going to take a lot out of him. Coming from a family that wasn’t close, lovey dovey, or even spoke to each other frequently enough for them to know what's going on with him he considered the streets, and his friends his family. Now he had to possibly kill his brother, because he snitched on him. It was fucking with his head, and to make matters worse weed wasn’t helping.
He drove down the street with his gun in the passenger seat. Taking the shot was going to chip away at his heart, and permanently leave a black mark. He wasn’t going to be the same person after this.
As he drove to Monty’s house he stopped at the top of the street. His house was surrounded by the police.
“What the fuck?” He put the gun in the dashboard.
When he looked up his mouth dropped open. Roman was being escorted out by police. Zeus was shocked as to what the hell was going on. He knew something was going on with his sister, but didn’t have the full details. A few seconds later Monty was walking out the house with a badge hanging around his neck.
“Yo I gotta be tweaking right now.” He rubbed his eyes in hopes that what he saw was going to change, but it didn’t.
There was something else going on here, and before the police noticed his car he made a u-turn and dashed off in the opposite direction.
10:00 p.m.
Azure, Hazel, and their mother were all in the living room playing cards. It was game night, and since they were younger the three of them always had it on Thursday. The energy was positive, everyone was laughing.
“But why are you cheating?” Azure said to Hazel, chuckling.
Hazel hadn’t told them about the divorce yet, because she wanted to have a good night with her family.
“Gurl you just suck.” She laughed along with her.
They were so wrapped up into the game that what happened next they would have never suspected.
A mirage of bullets pierced the house, and crashed through the window in the front room. The assailants continued until each one of their clips were empty before they speed off in the black SUV.
“NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” A voice pierced the night sky with an undertone of sheer terror.
The Stars Went Dark
(Old Story found on old website :o)
I sighed from the station of my desk. The night sky peered through the large windows of my dorm hall as I looked at the clock. Four. Only two hours to to go until I could leave this hell. The eerie halls of empty masses echoing every low groan the building produced from the ventilation to the foundations which caused me to jump every so often. In a building full of people, nothing is ghastlier than seeing a lack of.
Every so often I enjoyed walking away from the desk to stretch my legs. My superiors didn’t need to know and even if they somehow found out, I was always able to just walk right on back to my chair and explain I thought I saw something outside. They didn't’ expect much considering I am a college student looking over the front door of a large dorm. I enjoyed my special Sunday nights with the normal sandals, long sleeved shirt and grey sweatpants. To say I dressed like a slob was believable, but guests only dealt with my torso upwards, so I doubted there would be some form of dress violation. As the clock hit 4:30, I slowly stood and brought myself to the monumental windows.
I peered into the abyss outside and whistled. It was a dark night with no life. Thick snow packed cleanly across the front with hurried footsteps tracing into the building.. Normally I could see at least one idle body across the way or even the moon’s light across the ground. The medical center would be close by as well as our music center immediately to the right..but everything was black. I tapped at the glass jokingly before moving towards the door and gave a quick push to let myself into the mid section that connected one set of glass doors to the next. It felt akin to that of a hamster’s box. With another push, I looked around. The darkness filled my vision as I peered at the lone street lamp lighting the white ground and snow fall at least a football field away. All the paths were completely concealed in darkness.
I moved my hand left to right to test my vision before walking back inside. Suppose the snow did far more than I thought. Perhaps it was clouding the moon. With a low exhale, I sat across from the desk’s computer and simply resumed my night’s watching of a new Netflix movie. Not a single person passed from the hallways nor a single guest entered. I didn’t mind this. Slow nights always appeared on the midst of a blizzard storm, or simply on Sundays.
It was now 6:00 A.M. and I still can’t see a damn thing outside.
No sun to illuminate, no warmth to melt and harvest the snow. It was as time had played a prank on me. I had gotten used to the idea of being alone, but this was ridiculous. After typing in my key code to the desk and locking up the supply closet, I turned out the lights and began to head to my dorm room, except with one last look to the outside.
As I opened the door and stepped outside, I could hardly see the snowy ground itself. In fact the only reason I knew snow was on the ground was because of the familiar crunch and cold of the snow hitting my shoes. Shearing wind slashed against my pale face. The howling blizzard only roared as I looked around for life. Darkness and a few lamps to be seen, but nothing to help.
Why is it so dark, I asked myself before looking to the sky. And then I realized.
Everything Was Gone.
There was no familiar film of dank, disgusting smog that carried over a city. No clouds of snow blocking out the beautiful morning sky. In fact there wasn’t a single star willing to show its radiant shine. It was just black.
I couldn’t explain what I saw. You think you know black, but it was nothing like this. Nothing even like space. It felt like something was staring at me like an ant. Without hesitation, I forced my way back into the dorm as if I had seen a ghost. My chest heaved heavily as my fingers shook. Every breath was a cold blister to my lungs as I shook my head in a sweat.
I’m simply tired. That’s it. I’m tired. I’ve had brief moments of obscured clarity while I slept. I simply continued to look outside through the plated glass before moving back to my dorm room on the fifth floor.
My dorm had five floors which housed hundreds of residents each. Most floors were empty late at night to early mornings so it wasn’t surprising to see a soul. I made my way to the fifth floor through a large stairway, the echo of my footsteps accompanying me with each flopped push. All the floors seemed to be asleep. Their lights off and night lights on in the lounge. I made my way around the dorm halls and cleaned up any loose items before moving to my room.
The doors were heavy wood which deterred criminals from trying to break into college dorms. With a hefty push, I gained entry to my room. Nothing much. A large computer humming to the left with twin monitors, a webcam, and special mic to stream games and speak with friends. I was mildly popular online as a persona who played games, so all this tech was probably my life. I sat down at my computer chair to relax for a few minutes before looking online.
Everything was normal. The occasional shit-posts from Reddit, the weekly news, emails...nothing mentioned the strange darkness. Even as I peered out my window I couldn’t see a damn thing. I tossed it to drowsiness and dragged myself away from the machine to fall asleep. The blue lights flashing from the computer tower kept me awake for a few minutes before I was able to pass. Those damn, blue flashing lights.
I was woken to the same lights and the sound of a door slamming. In my grogginess, I peered over towards the window. Pitch black as before. I rubbed my headache ridden temples together while I shifted my head to sleep. I felt filled with energy and shifted far too much to be tired. I slowly groaned and popped my back with a satisfying crack before picking up my phone. It was 1:00 P.M. I had slept for 9 hours and was late to my first class. Instinctively, my heart thumped, my breath became raspy, and I began the day feeling stressed.
A normal grey T-Shirt with a silly, green vest printed in the front with a pair of blue jeans and brown boots followed by a black leather jacket. I didn’t know much about fashion, but this functioned for class and a trek through the snapping cold. With a quick grab of my computer bag, keys, phone, and wallet, I exited from my room into a freezing, empty hall. On either side of me, the dorm lounges were empty. Their night lights turned off as well as the regular lights. A pitch black engulfed the area lay stray of a few lights that never turn out.
I quickly rushed out of my lounge in fear of being late to class. Of course it was dark, but I walked through this thing every day. I knew the location of the couches and tables lining the walls. Within seconds I made it to the door of the stairwell, hearing screams of laughter and stomping from the stairwell. I wasn’t insane after all.
As I stepped into the stairwell, the faint lights were illuminating the stairs and no one walked up. I suppose I may have just missed them. I slowly made my way down the dark stairs while looking into lounges. Some had their televisions on which was different from before, others had their lights on as if people were still going through their day. I sighed to myself before a door suddenly opened in front of my face. I braced myself for impact and jumped back expecting someone to run into my by accident, but no one ran out. I didn’t have time to argue nor investigate, so I grunted and walked down the stairs. Figured some asshole had pushed the door open and didn’t know I was there. Reaching the first floor only to see the same monumental glass that made the front of my dorm building. ALl that accompanied was the familiar darkness.
I pressed my hand against the cold glass and looked up towards the sky. Abyss. The sounds of footsteps and chatter began to echo in my ears as I looked around. The room felt like it was spinning as I lost my mind. Noises were being made left to right and I couldn’t see where they came from. I quickly escaped from my dorm building, the snow pressing against my feet as I shivered from the experience, and from the sudden apathy I felt. Nothing made me feel worse than standing within this darkness. I was away from the lights of the inside and of the lamps. It was as if my energy was being drained. My legs turned into noodles as my arms folded to my chest, my head looking down as I continually heard the happy sounds of conversations.
As I turned around, I saw them. Through the same, plated glass. A husky girl at the front desk was talking to a lanky fella while a few students were gathered around the chairs near the glass. They were entirely real. I wasn’t simply imagining these statements  coming from the air. I pressed my hands to my head in relief before slowly looking around, the air being as empty as the sky. All I could see were faint shadows and a few lights from the buildings around me. I began to re-examine myself but didn’t have much to work with since I couldn’t see my body in this darkness. I breathed heavily to feel the whip of cold crack in my lungs before moving on to rub my eyes. Yup. Still there. Didn’t hurt  to gently rub them either.
I slowly pushed open the door before standing in the middle compartment to stare at the people at the chairs. Their conversations still going on in the air as the sound of a woman’s laughter broke out. The chairs were completely empty. What were areas filled with life was now meaningless. Even the front desk had become abandoned. As I stepped further into the building, I watched as a pencil and writing board were passed from the front desk to the air.
I couldn’t believe my eyes...These objects were just manipulated with such purpose! I didn’t understand what was happening as the pen hit the board. I peeked over the board to watch the name “Matthias Conway” being printed onto paper with the lead before it was placed on the table. The supply closet opened and a box floated through the air. “Here you are,” came the voice of a woman. A quick thank you came from in front of me, and the box simply floated right on down the south wing.
Without explanation, I needed a seat. I took a seat closest to the door and shook my head as I continued to hear the normal drull of doors opening and conversations carrying out beside me.
Was it my eyes? Could I not see some special type of light that others could? Was I a ghost? Was I just insane? I began to bite at my short fingernails for some form of comfort before pressing my palms against my ears. Drowning it out was better than letting it carry on.
After slowly walking around the dorm halls for hours, I found that conversations were being made in common areas. Lounges, dining areas, offices. I could hear it all yet not communicate. I could speak yet not be heard. Know where people were yet not be known myself. After far too much walking around in fear, I found myself at that familiar mid section room walled by two glass doors leading in and out of my dorm.
You want to know what true isolation is? Being in a room full of people and not a single person acknowledging you exist. It’s worse than being alone in a room by yourself, because at least  you are presented the choice of being a part of a conversation. This is torment.
Some findings I have discovered on my trek through this abysmal dorm:
People can’t hear me nor see when I manipulate something.
I can type things into a computer and it will post to the internet. I can see myself on a webcam and have tested to streaming. I was able to talk to chatters...but none believed my predicament.
Outside is bad. DO. NOT. ATTEMPT.
I can see others only through windows and mirrors.
I’m still traversing this building before moving outside...I’ve learned several laws in this strange event. I shall update once I try looking for supplies inside. Getting hungry. If you're reading this, I guess you got one of the stories I've posted out there about this. Help.
