Planning your Wedding is a hectic and exciting time. One area that seems to be in question is the Wedding Registry. Do you need one? Yes, you DO because otherwise you get a bunch of stuff you don’t want. Your Guests WANT to give you something, but they need direction. Help them out because they also want to contribute to the new family you are creating. I happen to know a little something about weddings because myself and Keverne, KardZee Founder have done over 600 weddings between us.

When should you set up your Wedding Registry?

According to an article by Erin Celletti titled Exactly When Should You Set Up Your Wedding Registry and Why at Brides.com, they say, "In terms of general etiquette guidelines, most professionals agree that within the 7-9 month range before your wedding date is the ideal time to register. Within this time, it's implied that your bridal shower and any other pre-wedding festivities will take place, and with your registry created and ready to go, gift giving (and receiving) will be a breeze."

1. People WANT to give you something to celebrate your marriage More couples have been living together for years and generally have everything they need. You may think that by not having a registry, you’ll get cash. It can happen, but many of your guests would prefer to give you a gift. Why get gifts you don’t want?
