Companies will be like no one wants to buy new movies on dvd anymore and then they'll release the digital version before the dvd comes out (sometimes months before) like why can't you just do it all at the same time then?

uh oh gang I miss musicals

#aarrggh it's not like I haven't tried/liked any since lockdown started. I enjoyed watt lihn and rtc.#and it's only sort of that I don't know what's up in the current/recent theater scene #I could simply look up what's on and what cast albums have come out lately and pick something #and there have been plenty of cast changes and new productions for stuff I already like!#honestly I think the thing stopping me from getting back into musicals is that I've had a few computer changes since 2020 #and lost most of my bootleg collection so I don't really have ways to get new recordings of things I want #and I gather that most of that has moved onto private discord servers in the last two years anyway #and I just neither have the social skills to easily get into those circles nor the money to buy videos direct from masters #like. my friend and I were foiled THRICE from seeing the 50th anniversary jcs tour and they've said several times #that the best present I could get for them would be a video of that production so we could finally watch it together #but I don't even know where to go anymore to check if a video of that tour exists and I doubt I have anything worth trading for it anyway #most nothing problem in the world ik ik. but like. ;-; wanny see me shows...#sorry for being a bit maudlin about musical theater nonsense I'm not expecting any 'there theres'#I just can't really complain about this stuff irl without going through four layers of context first #marina marvels at life

martabak. like. omg. obsessed. this food can give me diabetes and is high in calories but AARRGGH. also just a little information if you visit your partner's parents, people usually bring this food :D martabak is not just a food, its a culture. a tradition.

2. kue cubit. NOSTALGIA! i usually bought this after school. you can find these near schools and traditional markets. and sometimes they sell it in shapes like dragons, horses, etc.

3. kue ape/tete. tete in indonesia means boobs lol because the cake resembles a boob. anyway. this is actually a street food! iyou can buy this everywhere in my country :)

4. bika ambon!!!! this cake is made from tapioca flour and coconut milk. it has spongy texture. crispy on the outside and squishy (?) on the inside!

5. kue putu. OMG I LOVE THIS!! this cake is steamed in bamboo tubes. made from rice flour with pandan leaves and palm sugar. oh im craving this now

Species: Zombie

Appearance/Attire: Messy ginger hair, glazed green eyes with white hornrimmed glasses, decayed gray skin with some bones exposed. Yellow Headband, Beat up Grey Button-up shirt, ratty red cardigan, yellow bolo tie, black pleated skirt, red and grey argyle leggings with holes, beat up brown loafers.

Bio: Despite the reputation her kind has for being slow-witted and slower-moving, Sabrina is an intelligent young woman with a talent for management and organization. She’s also no pushover, being one of the only people capable of reigning Chloé in when she’s on a power trip. One of the most helpful monsters in school, Sabrina does her best to make sure everything runs smoothly. She also has a rather dry sense of humor and a penchant for wry comments. She only speaks in the groaning language of zombies, which thankfully most monsters can understand!

“Dad... what are we gonna do? We ain’t got the money,” said Neville nervously.

“I know! Aarrggh!” William shouted - not at Neville, but at the injustice of his life. “It’s like I’m back at the bloody monastery all over again - fighting to have some tiniest bit of control over my pathetic life!”

“What did you do back then?” Neville asked.

William went quiet for a moment and then said, “I need some time to think. Alone. Do me a favour, Nev - go see your mates for a bit. Come back later tonight.”

Neville attempted to interrupt, but William silenced him.

“I’m not gonna drink - promise. I just need to think. Please, Nev.”

Once Neville was gone, William settled down in front of Rogue’s grave.

Rogue. Adrianus. I need you. I know what I need to do, but I need you to give me the strength to do it. And, if you can, give Neville the strength to forgive me.

As Neville walked home that evening, his fear over what would be waiting at home for him built. An empty house? His father’s dead body? Over and over his mind went, running through every possible, awful scenario.

What he actually saw was his father bent over the accounts ledger.
