i think its kinda funny how everyone just. plays along w obito's fake identity shticks like .. lol. even KABUTO, who Knows he's not madara and told him that TO HIS FACE still keeps calling him madara ... the zetsus refer to him as "good boy tobi" LOL even when theyre alone at the start of it all .. like when obito gets introduced to the viewer. him and the zetsus deliberate abt whether he can join the akatsuki now after sasori is gone and they just. Call Him That. lol. they call him tobi at some points later as well btw even when sasuke is there who is Supposed to believe that he's madara and i think sasuke does so as well some time later. sasuke just doesnt care asfsfdgfgds but kabuto? i wonder if maybe he's curious ... but maybe he's just like, well, that guy is not gonna tell me who he is anyway. so. better just go along with it like it almost seems like a FAVOR he does him but maybe he also just doesnt want to force the issue. so obito doesnt rip his damn head off

I just got to the part of trials of Apollo were spoiler alert but Jason dies and its both so much funnier and also sadder then I thought it would be bc on the one hand the way piper and Meg react is just heart breaking but on the other hand Jasons is literally just in that book to die hes in like 5 chapters and every single interaction he has is just setting up this boys death like Rick really said you all find Jason boring yeah same boom he's dead iconic

or funnier: maybe lucifer does apologize (poorly) to sam and castiel (this does not help anyone) (they do not want it) (he’s so proud of himself for making strides in his Redemption) but he doesn’t even talk to dean. and dean (<- problems man) brings it up resentfully, probably in front of cas and sam, and lucifer goes ‘:/ what did i even do to u, man. beat u up? that’s just ur day job, deal with it.’ and dean has to figure out how to articulate that actually, lucifer possessing sam or cas was a crime against dean and he deserves something for that, without sounding like he’s insane.
no, actually, thought about it for a minute. he would just say that outright without considering that it’s a wild thing to claim. and he’d then turn to the two of them like they’ll back him up about this. and you know what? they probably would. <3 what is wrong with this family. he’s still not getting even an apology from lucifer.

On the topic of the section immediately pre-Burial Mounds...
I am in awe of how well the Golden Core transfer was seeded! This is seven days after Jiang Cheng has gone up “Baoshan Sanren’s” mountain, and of course on our first read-through we assume this is due to hunger or fatigue. But with context? It’s been at most five days (the transfer took two days and a night) since the operation, and MXTX is showing us its effects right in front of our noses.
And this is seeded throughout the rest of the scene too – with Wen Chao making comments about how Wei Wuxian was notably weaker than before, and the fact that Wei Wuxian doesn’t actually use any cultivation during the confrontation – which doesn’t even register the first time round, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who went back and checked! It’s framed in a way that the attacks are so sudden and there’s no time to react, but of course Wei Wuxian reacts to things extremely quickly, and just...
It’s so good, MDZS is so well-crafted.

Itachi Uchiha’s relationship with Sasuke was not that of a normal, caring older brother but straight up parentification. It’s obvious Mikoto and Fugaku *constantly* left baby Sasuke in his care leading up to the nine tales attack, as evidenced by Itachi’s ability to get 3 (4?) month old Sasuke to stop crying and Itachi wearing a sling to carry Sasuke (you only do that if you would carry a baby for long periods of time). In this essay, I will
