the other problem I have when writing is like my life has been kind of weird mostly due to being homeschooled until 6th grade and I have to look up things that are so mundane like. what kind of math are you supposed to learn in 3rd grade Because I'm pretty sure the math I was learning in 3rd grade was like NOT normal. I remember my dad explaining like. set theory to me. as like a 8 or 9 year old. Stuff like that

I know people on tumblr looove stories of underwater cave diving, but I haven't seen anyone talk about nitrogen narcosis aka "raptures of the deep"
basically when you want to get your advanced scuba certification (allowing you to go more than 60 feet deep) you have to undergo a very specific test: your instructor takes you down past the 60+ foot threshold, and she brings a little underwater white board with her.
she writes a very basic math problem on that board. 6 + 15. she shows it to you, and you have to solve it.
if you can solve it, you're good. that is the hardest part of the test.
because here's what happens: there is a subset of people, and we have no real idea why this happens only to them, who lose their minds at depth. they're not dying, they're not running out of oxygen, they just completely lose their sense of identity when deep in the sea.
a woman on a dive my instructor led once vanished during the course of the excursion. they were diving near this dropoff point, beyond which the depth exceeded 60 feet and he'd told them not to go down that way. the instructor made his way over to look for her and found a guy sitting at the edge of the dropoff (an underwater cliff situation) just staring down into the dark. the guy is okay, but he's at the threshold, spacing out, and mentally difficult to reach. they try to communicate, and finally the guy just points down into the dark, knowing he can't go down there, but he saw the woman go.
instructor is deep water certified and he goes down. he shines his light into the dark, down onto the seafloor which is at 90 feet below the surface. he sees the woman, her arms locked to her sides, moving like a fish, swimming furiously in circles in the pitch black.
she is hard to catch but he stops her and checks her remaining oxygen: she is almost out, on account of swimming a marathon for absolutely no reason. he is able to drag her back up, get her to a stable depth to decompress, and bring her to the surface safely.
when their masks are off and he finally asks her what happened, and why was she swimming like that, she says she fully, 100% believed she was a mermaid, had always been a mermaid, and something was hunting her in the dark 👍

fucking smartass characters dumb>>
warnings: male reader, any gender for {{char}}, character getting dominated, sub!char, dom!reader
They were helping you with your homework after school today, because you were failing advanced math. He degrades your ability to solve the problems and laughed in your face if you told home to help you solve the problem when you got it wrong. As you kept coming back for more help, one day you snapped and pinned {{char}} against their couch, watching smugly as {{char}} squirmed underneath you.
How pathetic!
Their beautiful eyes looking up at you, both nervously and aroused, feeling a problem stirring in their pants/skirt. You sense their aroused feelings towards you, you then rub your knee against their sex. {{char}} let out small moans as you press your knee harder against their sex.
should i continue this??

ok, we started off with miguel, now imagine miles 42 with a genius, airheaded crush, like.......
miles 42 with an airheaded, genius crush (headcanons and blurbs !!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
he once thought you weren't the most interested in school or academics in general like most people he met, but he was proven wrong when you two became seatmates–he realized you actually had an amazing grasp of the lessons and wasn't just another pretty face at school; you had a beautiful face and brain.
he goes to you for help when he struggles to understand the lesson, but he hardly understands when you explain it in the most 'you' way possible, which is kind of explained through more onomatopoeias, made-up words, and a lot of stuttering since you're unsure how to explain it but know it's done 😭😭😭
"what i just... slip you the answers during the quiz?" you offered with a bright smile as miles looked at you with a raised eyebrow. "that won't be necessary, you'll get in trouble." he said as he tried to process the notes he took down, but you slid him a piece of folded up paper and began humming to yourself as you looked away from him. he opened the paper, and there, it contained extensive notes you took and compiled; and the best part was, he understood most of it better. he looked at you as you looked back at him with a grin.
"that help comes at a cost though." you said slyly as you sat back in your chair. "okay, name your price." miles said as your stomach grumbled. "how about you treat me to lunch, that'd be a great and fair exchange." you said as you got off your seat as miles shrugged and followed you. "you sure just lunch will pay it all off, or..." "if you're willing to pay a higher price, what about you take me on a date after school?" you offered with a grin as miles got a bit taken aback by your request, though... he wasn't opposed.
when he sees you dozing off in class, he always tries to wake you before the teacher realizes or catches you sleeping, but you always get caught and wake up on time when the teacher calls on you. luckily, since all this comes easy to you, you didn't really have a problem answering the questions, you just needed the question repeated to you and you answer quickly.
miles......... has never met anyone as amazing as you, like getting out of a 5 minute nap and immediately having the braincells and energy to solve advanced physics and math problems? he's falling in love with you and being blown away by you every damn time.
if you begin to ramble to him on stuff related to what you guys are being taught, he'd listen to you, it might prove to be helpful in the long run. this was the instance where he discovered you were a complete and total nerd, and his dorky ass loved you all for it.
sometimes, you stare at miles' braids and just get so deep in thought about how nice his hair looks, what it looks like when it's undone, and if you could one day maybe braid his hair.
"what are you staring at...?" he asks you with an awkward voice as you continue staring at his braids. "pretty hair you got." you said as you kept staring at them. miles instinctively wrapped the end of it around his finger and shrugged. "it's not that good, it's... it's alright." "oh, now, don't be modest--it's beautiful." you beamed as you smiled at him and went back to the worksheets you were doing before your eyes landed on miles' braids. "...thanks." he murmured as he went back to his own worksheets, trying to hide the flustered expression he had on right now. he thought about your comment the whole day and was so elated about it internally.
he doesn't flex your beauty, wealth, athletic prowess or anything--he flexes how unique you are. he NEVER shuts up about you to ganke, like even if he doesn't sound so excited, ganke can tell you're all miles can think about.
miles loves how, despite being airheaded and a little bit dazed at times, you're so amazing and insightful, so helpful and smart that he looks up to you so much.
"ganke, i honestly don't know how they're so... cool, like--" miles went on and on as ganke 'listened' to him as he played video games. "no wonder you think they're out of your league." ganke quipped as miles looked at him with a slight pout. "well thanks for reminding me of the hard truth, not that i don't think about it..." miles murmured as he laid back on the bed. ganke shrugged. "if you're so adamant about knowing whether or not they'd like you, why don't you just up and tell them?" he suggested, which made miles perk up and accidentally hit his forehead on the bottom of the top bunk bed.
"ow, and, wait, that... i can't do that." miles said with a pained expression as ganke opened the ice box they had and threw him a plastic bottle to ease the swelling on his forehead. "hey, the worst they can say is 'no'." ganke said, deadpanned, as miles groaned. "i can think of worst things they could say..." miles muttered as he thought of what would happen if he were to admit his feelings towards you, feelings he can't even beging to name.
when he confessed to you, he was honestly struggling to word it out, and seeing you gaze into his eyes without knowing if you understood or even liked what he was saying killed him inside.
"so, i... i like you, okay?" he finally muttered, looking down at his shoes and back up at you, who still had the same, sleepy-dazed face as usual. miles bit the inside of his cheek and got all sheepish, thinking he was a fool for believing you could really like him back. "...i like you, too." you said with a big grin. miles' eyes widened as his mouth hung open for a second, and soon, he spoke. "r-really?" you nodded. "yeah, you're my buddy, buddies like each other, no?" you said with a sleepy voice as miles felt his whole world crumble. did he just get friendzoned?
miles shook his head. "i meant... romantically, there, romantically, i like you." he cleared up, hoping you understood what he meant. you clapped your hands together once as you finally realized what he meant. "ohhhhh, then i like you, too, still." you said as you grinned again, this time, with a sweeter warmth filling your smile and cheeks. miles blinked a few times and stuttered before he made out the words, "you're serious? you understood what i... meant though, right? for real this time...?" he tried making sure so as not to make a fool out of himself, but all the confirmation he needed was when you walked over and kissed his cheek. "i'm serious, miles." you said with a mischievous smirk and held his hand. you were always the bold type, and miles admired you for that; he just didn't realize how much he loved that bolder personality of yours. "a-awesome." miles murmured, trying not to show much of his excitement right now and play it cool.
you giggled and interlocked fingers with miles, which he was not expecting, but he didn't dare to pull away. "so... wanna get something to eat?" you offered miles as he nodded, squeezing your hand that was in his. "sure." he said as he felt even more flustered, like he was melting in your touch as you led him to a good restaurant you knew. not only did miles just get a partner, he's on his first date with them. man, did he love you and your airheaded, genius self <3

Are you willing to make a long personal post about how Math should be presented in an educational environment or in general conversation trying to convince the other participants about its daily usage. How it can advance a person’s problem-solving skills and approach in life.
I’m really good in Mathematics. I’ve given help for my classmates and friends about Math when they are having trouble or ask for it. But I have never been convinced of its importance outside of the classroom, outside of the test papers that gives me the variables to substitute in the given equation of that test of the day.
How can Math and it’s many properties relate back to everyday life in a casual manner?
Hm. Well, as someone who hasn't had to solve an antiderivative in years, my perspective on this is that the most important and widely-applicable skill math can teach you is the stuff behind the math - mostly the muscle-memory you get from proofs.
Math is, at its core, puzzles and logic and pattern-recognition. You learn a set of tools, you practice those tools on a set of simple problems until you get a feel for them, you are presented with a bigger problem, you recall which tools best applied to problems that are shaped like this, you break the problem down using your tools and eventually reduce it to something you know how to solve.
The fact of the matter is, the tools that are specific to branches of math don't really have much widespread use outside pure mathematics, and unless you go out of your way to keep using them you're likely to lose track of them. Studying math is not going to turn you into a super-calculator-wizard who can bounce stuff off the walls at perfect angles and do six-figure arithmetic in seconds, and I think some people feel overwhelmed at the assumption that that's what's expected of them if they learn math, and some other people feel cheated when they learn that that's absolutely not going to happen, because most writers don't know math and when they tell stories with math in them their best guess is it makes you a wizard.
I think the most advanced math I've used lately was trigonometry, and that was just because I was curious about how fast my plane was traveling relative to the sun's apparent movement at my latitude. We were flying back to the US from Iceland and we'd taken off at sunset, and we had been in that sunset for at least an hour by the time I got curious how the math worked out and started estimating our latitude, the circumference of the slice of the earth at that latitude, and correspondingly how fast we were flying vs how fast it was spinning to complete a full rotation in 24 hours. But even if the math involved didn't tap into any of the higher-level stuff I'd learned post-trig, those years doing proofs and figuring out which tools applied to which geometry meant that I could use the tools and my training applying those tools to calculate what I wanted to know, and confirm that our plane was actually outflying the sun when we were at iceland latitude, but as we curved south the sun's apparent relative movement (aka the rotational speed of that latitude of the earth) slowly accelerated until we were falling behind, landing right as the sun finally set. The math involved was high school level, but if I'd been given that problem in high school it would've taken more work and more stress to figure out how the tools I had needed to be applied to the problem I was facing. The years of practice I had tackling much more complicated proofs made the diagnostic process much faster.
I saw someone once analogize studying math to lifting weights. Where am I going to use this in real life? How often will I really be faced with two dumbbells that need to be lifted in three sets of twenty? Where am I going to apply the skill of holding a heavy thing straight out to one side of my body?
You don't lift weights because lifting weights is such a valuable and widely-applicable skillset, you do it because lifting weights makes you better at lifting everything.
You don't study math because math is going to fill your daily life with concepts that you need to prove true for 1 and for n+1 given true for n, or complex solids that you need to sum an approximate volume for, or a surplus of sunset plane flights that demand you calculate a bunch of cosines. You study math because it is the skillset of making things make sense. It trains you to break a huge, incomprehensible problem down into a series of small problems you already know how to solve. It lets you reach true and correct conclusions by starting from facts and transforming them through operations that preserve truth, and correspondingly that if you reach a false conclusion from these methods, then either the methods are flawed or the initial assumption is not as true as you believed. It teaches you to put two and two together and be confident, once you've double-checked your work, that you can say four.
This is stuff I use all the time in both my video research and my freeform writing. Building out a slow picture of how a story was told or changed over time involves finding the context it was created in, and reverse-engineering what parts of that context could have produced what standout portions of the story - what authorial or cultural bias results in this standout story element. Worldbuilding where I take two wildly disparate parts of the world, put them together and see what web of implications springs out of combining them, following the threads to new and interesting concepts that follow from what I've already established. Building a character arc by breaking down exactly what events are happening to them and what transformation each component will apply to the underlying character. If I want the story to go in a certain direction, what transformations do I need to apply to make that happen while still preserving truth? If I'm faced with a seemingly insurmountable problem, what methods can I use to break it down into bite-sized pieces?
This isn't something I think about most of the time. It's just how my brain works at this point, and I can't promise it'd work for anyone else. But thanks to all my years of hard work and training, my brain has been buff enough to solve every problem I've tangled with since graduation, and that feels pretty good.

DAD
GOJO X READER + READER & MEGUMI & TSUMIKI
Tumblr media
Satoru sure is taking his time buying the missing ingredients for your dinner. On the living room couch, Megumi is looking at his textbooks quietly while you and Tsumiki entertain yourselves by solving her advanced math assignments.
You would’ve helped Megumi too, but he’s been avoiding you, and you figured he didn’t want his former teacher getting into his business, so you refrained.
"That’s great, Tsumiki!" You praised "Great work!"
She beamed.  "Thank you for helping me!"
"You’re welcome!" Then you turned the page to solve the last problem. "What about this?"
"Please don’t."
You turned to the voice only to jump in surprise when you saw that it was Megumi who approached you. Tsumiki hopped off the high chair, as if she knew what was on Megumi’s mind.
"Please don’t-"
"Megu-" Tsumiki tried to stop him, but Megumi shakes his head.
His fisted fingers are holding onto his shirt tightly.
Please don’t? What?  The confusion must be evident in your face.
Megumi swallowed hard. "Please don’t take my dad. Please don’t take my dad away."
"Megumi," Tsumiki said, arms going around Megumi’s shaking shoulders.
Oh. You swallowed, and your throat feels tight looking at them. You know he’s a kid, but he’s never acted like one. It surprises and hurts you that you didn’t think about how he’d feel knowing that his former teacher and guardian are dating. No, not their guardian, Satoru is their Dad.
They’re still so young; they shouldn’t be feeling this way.
But they do, your mind whispers. You know why they feel this way.
"Megumi, Tsumiki..." you started, and Tsumiki looks up at you, worry and fear in her eyes, but Megumi is still bowing his head. You held their hands gently. You kneeled so they could see your eyes properly. "Listen to me, okay?"
"I won’t take your Dad," you promised, Megumi looks at you in surprise and relief. "But can I have Satoru?"
Tsumiki and Megumi looked at one another before they nodded, "Okay," their tone soft, small.
"Thank you."
You opened your arms to them, and your heart felt so full when they ran to hug you. It’s only when they both rested their heads on your shoulders that you felt tears.
They must’ve been so scared. You blame your thoughtlessness. You should've been more careful; you should've assured them properly.
"There, there," you say, patting their backs in what you hope is a comforting manner. "Your Dad loves you, okay? It’s not going to change just because I’m in the picture."
Megumi nodded, sniffing, while Tsumiki cried harder, and you had the urge to smack the people who caused him and Tsumiki pain—the ones responsible for putting that kind of expression on their young faces.
So you carried them both gently, and their arms are around you for stability while they lay their heads on your shoulders. You sway gently while muttering words of assurance and love to the kids you've grown to love.
Behind the wall, Satoru smiles while listening to your voice comforting his kids. You must’ve been so worried that you didn’t notice that he'd been gone for so long for someone who just went to the nearby convenience store, and it didn’t dawn on you that Megumi called him Dad.
In truth, he didn't expect that Megumi would consider him his Dad, much less call him that way. He's always thought that Megumi just tolerated his presence, but he should’ve known better than to doubt Megumi. That boy knows how to mask his real feelings well, partly because he’s a Zenin and partly because of a Zenin. No, Toji Fushiguro didn’t want to be a Zenin.
Still, he hoped that Toji knew how much the kids he abandoned suffered because of his neglect. He hopes Toji regretted his decision and loss.
Satoru shakes his head. It doesn’t matter now. It doesn’t matter that Toji abandoned them; it doesn’t matter that he’s facing resistance and pressure from the Zenins by having the sole inheritor of their clan technique in his care; and it doesn’t matter that he’s still too young to be a proper father because he is their Dad and he will protect them or die trying. Most of all, he knows you have his and the kids backs through it all.
Please don’t take my Dad
Tsumiki and Megumi are not his by blood, but they’re his. His to protect, to care for, and to love.
"Your Dad loves you. Satoru loves you both so much."
Satoru closes his eyes and relaxed.

Imagine flirting with Shuri when she comes to get Riri
Tumblr media
You were on your way to back to your shared dorm room to grab your textbook for your english class. In the next twenty minutes you picked up the pace a bit remembering Riri agreed to lend you her notes for the same math class. The two of you shared but only if you could catch her in time. She couldn't afford to let to be late for that class again considering how much of a hard-ass the professor was. He was the lock the door five minutes after his class starts type, and the only way in after that was to endure the embarrassment of being. Forced to try and solve some equation that he had yet to cover. Although Riri could probably solve it in her sleep being one of more advanced students in his class. She preferred to avoid the attention.
Your headphones were blaring music into your ears as you reached the door to your dorm. When you twisted the doorknob it stalled indicating it was locked. That caught you by surprise considering neither of ever bothered to lock the door. You were single and as far as you knew so was Riri, and if that had changed. You definitely would've known that girl told you everything. You pulled your ear buds from your ear. Just as you raised your hand ready to bang on the door. You heard your roommate's voice from the other side.
"Get out of my dorm" she demanded. "Get out"
Your blood ran cold trying to figure out who could possibly have her in distress. You knew some of the kids had a bad habit of trying to stiff her on money. After she did the work for them, and she had no problem confronting them about her money. But none of them ever tried to retaliate. Maybe that had finally changed wasting no time you took a firm hold on the doorknob, and slammed your shoulder into the door. As hard as you could manage the door gave away sending you tumbling inside.
You caught yourself before hitting the floor and stood up straight ready to threaten whoever was in the room. Until you came face to face with none other than the Princess of Wakanda.
"Ha I have a witness you can't make me go with you now. Now get out like I said" Riri demanded still standing in the corner by the windows.
There was another woman standing beside the Princess she was tall and fit dressed in a black suit jacket and red spandex. You recognized her as well considering how big of a fan you were of the Princess, and knew wherever she went. This woman seemed to follow both of them had turned at your entrance.
'Y/N tell them to leave" Riri said snapping you out of your trance.
Your eyes flickered back and forth between her and them trying to assess the situation. But in the end it didn't matter you weren't about to kick the Princess of Wakanda out no matter what. "Come on Riri is that anyway to talk to a Princess" You told her instead. Earning a groan from your roommate who threw her hands in the air. Shuri was a bit taken back but gave you a small smile. Okoye just raised an eyebrow at your statement.
Your eyes landed on the portable speaker Riri was holding onto with a death grip. "Please tell me you're not trying to use that as a weapon?" You asked moving in front of Shuri.
"Y/N now is not the time for your smitten behind to be all smooth" Riri said through gritted teeth. "Get over here" she pointed a finger at you.
You turned around with a smile aimed at the women. "I'm sorry for her she can be pretty hostile sometimes."
"Yeah we can see that is there anyway you can convince her not to be?" Shuri asked.
"For you of course" You replied with a wink turning back around to Riri. She had the speaker raised over her head this time. "Riri just put it down and hear them out."
"Girl I already heard them out they want to kidnap me and take me back to Wakanda against my will" she revealed.
You gave her a blank stare for a solid five seconds before glancing at Shuri and Okoye over your shoulder. The room was silent as they all waited to see what you were going to say or do next. Shuri was hoping you would still side with them. It might make this whole process a lot easier. Finally you spoke up again
"If the Princess of Wakanda wants to take you back to her country. You go without question Riri like seriously why is this even a discussion."
"Damn it y/n this isn't one of your romance books or movies."
"Really because this seems like the start of a beautiful love story to me" You shot back throwing Shuri a quick wink.
"Oh for Bast's sake" Okoye muttered under her breath.
Shuri grinned at you making your heart flutter. "Hey if I take your friend back to Wakanda with us will you come?"
Riri reached out to grab you by the arm and yank you beside her before you could say anything. "Don't even think about it?"
"I'll go wherever you want me to go" You said anyway.
"Y/N shut your hopeless ass up" Riri exclaimed angrily.
"Hopelessly in love" You quickly added.
Riri let out a growl of frustration going to throw the speaker, but you took a hold of her arms. "Would you just wait? Can someone tell me what is really going on here besides the beginning of a love story?"
Shuri let out a chuckle.
It was Okoye who answered. "Your friend here got herself put on the wanted list of a merman with her vibranium detector. Now she is in danger and we're trying to protect her."
Your eyes widened in realization as you turned to her with a 'I told you so look. "I told you not to build that thing Riri but you didn't listen."
"Okay fine you were right but don't forget the part where you were hoping. It would win us a trip to Wakanda so you could meet the Princess."
"Well I mean it did kind of workout I guess but if you're in danger don't you think its best you go with them. I mean a merman doesn't sound dangerous, but if it brought the Princess and the General out here to MIT. This has to be serious" You told her with a empathetic look.
Riri let out a sigh relaxing her grip on the speaker. "Will you cover for me?"
You nodded "of course I will."
"Does that mean you don't want to come back to Wakanda with us?" Shuri asked with a smirk.
"Is that an invitation Princess?" You replied.
"I mean your friend could use the moral support" she said with a shrug.
"Yeah right moral support but you know I'm going for the bonus of winning you over right."
"Hmmm we'll see" she mused flinching when Okoye smacked her arm.
Riri gave you a look as well.
"Are the two of done?" Okoye asked with a eye roll.
"For now" You promised with another wink.

FINDING THE MEAN
Tumblr media
Laura had never found the social aspects of school easy, but she at least always had the protection of her favourite teacher Ms Bloom.
Ms Bloom taught Math and she was everything Laura aspired to be. Clever, kind and friendly - the inspirational teacher had taken Laura under her wing and helped her survive against the bullies and mean girls that seemed to thrive in the school.
She had taken to giving Laura additional Math lessons in advanced concepts and the two of them would spend many hours after school solving equations, discussing problems and hanging out together.
Laura had realised that Ms Bloom was mentoring her and she felt her confidence and her ambitions begin to grow and swell. One day she would get out of this small town and go on to be successful - she would owe much of that success to her mentor.
One night after school Laura and Ms Bloom were pouring over a very strange equation that no one had ever solved.
Hyde's Divergent Mean was a curiosity that went back nearly a hundred years. No one had ever been able to balance the equation which appeared to be an attempt to work out the average amount of evil and toxicity in any given population.
"How about we apply it to the school?" asked Laura excitedly and the two of them began to work on balancing the numbers.
Ms Bloom sighed, "See - there's a missing component and no one has ever been able to work it out. The value of X remains unknown."
Laura frowned as she examined the equation. It was central to everything, it was almost as if the entire formula was more than math - like it was some sort of arcane formula. Perhaps it wasn't designed to work out the amount of evil in a population, but instead to harness and drain that toxicity and do something with it.
"Miss - have you ever thought X is meant to represent a person, not a number?"
Ms Bloom's eyes widened in amazement, "Why yes - that's incredible. I wonder what would happen if I put my name down as X and complete the formula."
"Wait!" gasped Laura, but she was too slow to stop her enthusiastic teacher who had written down 'Ms Isabella Bloom' next to X.
The formula suddenly blazed with pink light and Laura gasped and stepped back. Ms Bloom gasped and tried to stand back too, but she was yanked forward by an invisible force then lifted screaming into the air.
The teacher now levitated in the air surrounded by a sinister pink light. Laura gasped and tried to rush forward to help, but she was repelled by an invisible force.
On the board, the formula began to change. The name in the middle began to alter. "Ms Isablla Bloom" began to warp and alter to become "Bella Bloom."
The teachers eyes burned with pink fire and she gasped in amazement.
"Ohhhh fuck yes! I can see it all now, I can see how all the popular girls are connected - how they and their victims fit into this school. It's all so fucking OBVIOUS!"
She giggled, a strange sound coming from her usually sensible mouth. Her kind lips twisted into an uncharacteristically malicious smile as she stretched her floating body luxuriously and wiggled her fingers.
"Mmmmmh, I see how to get everything I always wanted. I can be reborn thanks to the equation, I can take the toxic femininity from those fucking losers and make myself queen bitch. No more being some sad-sac teacher, instead I can be a fucking princess!"
"Noooooo," gasped Laura. "Ms Bloom, you have to stop this, the formula is corrupting you. The equation is making you mean."
"Hahah shut up you pathetic loser, you have no idea how GOOD this feels. Ms Bloom is dead - I am BELLA BLOOM."
Throwing back her head, Ms Bloom moaned in ecstasy and splayed her fingers out. Long sharp gel nails shot from each finger as her bones cracked and her body shrunk in on itself.
Her skin became younger looking and her warm brown hair began to turn bright bitchy blonde. Ms Bloom's kind eyes turned a cold blue and her face became more beautiful, but mean and spoiled.
Her clothing shrunk to fit her now tiny frame, a tight red crop top and daisy dukes leaving little to the imagination as she floated down and landed on the ground with a clop of expensive high heels.
"Like, this is sooooo much better," giggled Bella as she arranged her hair and admired her nails. "Being a fucking thirty six year old teacher was sooooo boring. What a loser. I'd rather be an eighteen year old bitch any day."
Laura was shaking her head in horror as Bella strutted over to the whiteboard and laughed at the formula. It had taken the two of them hours to complete the formula and Laura wasn't sure she could even do it on her own.
A hand shot out and grabbed her hair and she screamed as Bella cruelly pulled her over and smashed her up against the board. Laughing, the new bully used Laura's hair to wipe the board - destroying the delicate formula and making sure that no one could ever copy the work and reverse the transformation, or ascend themselves.
"Like, that's better. Now I can't change back. You're the only one who remembers the old me anyway, the equation has altered reality and everyone else's memories of me. As far as the school is concerned, there never was an Isabella Bloom - only the Head Cheerleader and richest brat in town, Bella Bloom existed."
Releasing Laura's hair, Bella threw her to the floor and looked down with contempt.
"Fucking pathetic. You're so fucking pathetic and weak. You better stay out of my way loser, you don't form part of my equations at the moment - but that could change."
Tumblr media
Laura sobbed as she watched her once favourite teacher striding off to start her new life as a bully and a mean girl. Bella would soon have all the big cock, money and riches she could ever want.
As for Laura, without her mentor and her inspiration - she would lapse into despair and any chance for a bright future she had would decay to nothing.
Ms Bloom had found the mean and there was no going back for either of them.

𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐤 | 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 | 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐬 01
synopsis ; when riki's having a hard time with his school work, you decide to buy him strawberry milk. not knowing that it's the milk flavour (and the colour) he despises most. if you're wondering, yes, this is in the same world as my chaptered fic, 'you in the rain', and is one of the bonus chapters i have planned. you can check out the fic here.
Tumblr media
Perhaps your presence, a constant voice peeping up from across the library table, disturbs Riki more than he would dare to admit.
Because the way he briefly glances up at you before groaning and pinching his nose-bridge… it’s probably not a good sign, is it? He frowns in concentration, starting to do his anxious tick you’ve recently noticed is a bad habit of his, clicking and unclicking his 0.5 ballpoint pen. Loudly. And then he twirls the pen over all four of his fingers, confusion evident over all his features.
“I don’t get it,” he huffs, looking mildly annoyed with himself. Opposite of him, you watch as his stare on the Math worksheet threatens to combust it into flames. You should be used to this, after accompanying him here so many times just to watch him get frustrated over the questions he can’t do.
Okay, maybe it’s only been a few days, but it feels like a lifetime of awkwardly sitting around, unable to help him because you can’t be asked to solve for x even if your life depends on it. Perhaps you’re just not cut out to be Nishimura Riki’s study companion. Your eyes trail back up from the worksheet (that looks like utter gibberish to you), and analyse your friend’s face instead.
And then a wave of sadness washes over you. He’s in the advanced Maths class, filling out an advanced Maths worksheet. The fact that he’s able to understand at least half of the foreign language of algebra is already stunning to you. Anything above a C would please you, in fact. But you understand. You understand him with all the hours you spent revising the new vocabulary in English class. You understand with the blood, sweat and tears you poured out over a difficult type of sentence structure you just could not grasp.
It always hurts to be practically terrible at things you’re supposed to be the best at.
“I wish I could help,” you say uneasily, taking another glance at the problem Riki’s stuck at, and wishing you didn’t. It’s a humbling experience, to say the least. “But, um, I can’t even understand what the question is asking for.”
The cogs in Riki’s brain seem to churn for a while, before the fire goes out once more and the light leaves his eyes. “Nope. I really don’t get it.”
You tilt your head at him, trying to exude as much comforting empathy as you can. Apparently the kind look in your eyes must be either terrifying or out-of-character, and Riki just lets his eyes travel around your face in judgement. You’d like to believe it’s the friendly type of judgement and not the, you actually look really stupid kind of judgement.
But it’s Riki, so who knows? He could very well still be lost in his own world of complicated formulas and mental equations, numbers of different universes coming together into his mind like they’re meant to be. That’s at least how it sounds like when Riki talks about Maths.
Wanting to leave him alone to his own thoughts, you pack up your things and head out to the nearby convenience store. Riki doesn’t bat an eyelid, he’s pretty used to you quitting halfway through a study session as well, and he probably needs you out of the way anyway. To solve the biggest mystery of the universe on that piece of paper.
Once you step foot into the store, you make an instant beeline for the chilled drinks section, gracing your eyes with the marvellous selection of flavoured packet drinks and plastic milk bottles. Perhaps Riki would like one of those to drink on while he studies. You always seem to focus better with a sweet drink in one hand and a pen twirling around in the other.
The array of choices stuns you for a moment, though, and with a pang you realise you don’t know Riki’s favourite milk flavour. He’s never mentioned it before. In fact he doesn’t talk much about himself to you. Or, according to Jungwon, to anyone. You’re not sure if he’s closed off on purpose, or he’s just quiet in nature. To you, they’re two very, very different things.
Well, it wouldn’t hurt to buy Riki your favourite flavour, would it? Anyway, it would give you a chance to find out what he really likes, and conversation could possibly start to flow from there. It’s like a mastermind plan, the way you grin mischievously to yourself and snag the cheapest bottle of strawberry milk you see. Because, unfortunately for you, you’re a student. Fashionably broke.
Tumblr media
When you get back to the library, Riki stares at you in bewilderment as you walk back to his study corner and proceed to dump a singular plastic bag with two bottles of strawberry milk sitting inside it. Lips pursed together in curiosity (another one of his cute little habits that you can’t help but to notice because they’re literally right in front of your face), Riki leans over and peers into the bag.
He raises his eyebrows, sits back down, and pulls one of his legs over the other.
“How did you know I like pink things?” he whispers, eyes the widest you’ve ever seen them. “And that strawberry milk’s my favourite milk flavour?”
“Really?” You cannot believe, by lucky chance, you’ve actually guessed it right. And you’re matching with him, and you guys can go buy more strawberry milk together in the future… and…
”What’s strawberry milk in Chinese?”
You snap out of your thoughts and watch intently as he unwraps one of the plastic straws and pokes it carefully into his drink.
“草莓牛奶”
“你喜欢,是吗?” (you like it, right?) Riki smiles slightly and takes a sip. For some reason his facial features stiffen for a second and he looks like he’s trying not to make a face.
You chuckle softly at his expression. “是. 哇,你的中文真棒!” (Yes. Wow, your Chinese is so good!)
“因为我在喝…” (because I’m drinking…) He pauses for a while, trying to recall the words. “你最喜欢的草莓牛奶.” (your favourite strawberry milk).
Your cheeks heat up almost immediately and the hot feeling doesn’t fade for a good long while, even as the librarian scolds the both of you for bringing food and drink into the library and as you walk back home alone after Riki claims with an urgent look that he has somewhere to be, dumping his half-full strawberry milk in the trash.
It’s not until a week later you find out from an astonished and very bemused Jungwon that Riki absolutely hates strawberry milk and the colour pink, even though the boy has been gifting you the pinkest of milks every day since that day, claiming he loves it; claiming it’s the most refreshing drink he’s ever tasted.
That afternoon, when you walk back into class after lunch, you see a bottle of banana milk sitting atop your desk, and you can’t help but to laugh to yourself.

realitychange.com 5
The next day at school brings a surreal atmosphere. All around, Daniel notices the changes he initiated. The once-familiar sight of girls in jeans and skirts is replaced by a sea of diapers—some discreetly covered, while others boldly on display. Even the women's restroom has undergone a transformation into a changing room, with the pervasive aroma of baby powder filling the air.
In math class, Daniel finds himself confronted by two female classmates who showcase a mastery of mathematical concepts that leaves Daniel feeling outmatched. As they effortlessly solve equations and demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills, Daniel struggles to keep up.
During a particularly challenging problem, one of the girls leans over, her diaper crinkling audibly, and offers Daniel a condescending smile. "Having trouble there, Daniel?" she teases, a hint of mockery in her voice. The other girl joins in, enhancing his humiliation.
Daniel discreetly opens his phone, navigating to realitychange.com. With a determined expression, he types, "All girls are as smart as preschoolers. I help at a preschool for teenage girls." As he hits enter, a momentary blink seems to ripple through the classroom.
When Daniel opens his eyes again, he's met with a bizarre scene. His former classmates, stand with pacifiers in their mouths. Engrossed in a heated argument over a simple addition problem: 20+4
Reality change will be a weekly update every Thursday. If you can’t wait and want to read the next few pages now hop over to my Patreon!

Modern AU head-canons for these Dune characters:
Feyd Rautha
Glossu Rabban
Piter de Vries.
ohh okay this is interesting. I am not really that used to headcannons/ AUs, as I'm honestly new to engaging with fanfic in general so my apologies in advance if it doesn't totally fit, but here are my headcannons and ideas for how I'd do a modern AU with these characters.
Feyd Rautha:
Tumblr media
Feyd Rautha is the heir apparent to a large spice mining company- in this case, you could substitute an oil or mining company for modern AU. The company culture is highly toxic, but Feyd likes that. He's known to churn through interns and keeps a non-existent sleep schedule.
His overall dynamic is finance bro meets basically any character from succession (think a slightly more financially literate Roman Roy). He buys luxury items just to fit in, however he has just enough taste so that it actually works. He considers most of these purchases a waste of money, but also his right and/or part of the job as heir.
As part of the Baron's inner circle, he has knowledge of most of the company's inner workings and takes great personal pride in digging up as much information as possible on the people he doesn't already control. He will often go to conferences and events just to get a read on competition. He secretly longs for someone to take that kind of an interest in him, but no one has just yet- many still think that he's too young and unpredictable to inherit.
After all- there is that rumor that he tried to kill the Baron.
Glossu Rabban
Tumblr media
If Feyd is the more of a Roman Roy, Rabban is Conor. He had ambitions at the company which ended in failure, and has been reassigned to lobbying. Rabban is attempting to trade off of his industry connections to get into politics, if he can. He's aware his current position is tenuous at best and that he might need to make his own career. As the family industry is regulated, everyone basically hates this pipe dream of a career ambition. His moves are too obvious and clumsy, and he often tries to influence someone only to find that Feyd has already discussed the business with them. He's not a total failure, but his family just doesn't appreciate any success outside of financial success.
Piter de Vries
Piter is a math genius that works in data modeling and analytics. The Barron and Feyd love that he makes them money, however he's abrasive personality wise. He's known to use a myriad of drugs recreationally and at work, just because solving the same problems sober is too boring for him. The company has tried to hire assistants that can help him or at least explain his reports palatably, but he insists on doing the work himself and his own data models for fun in C. Not C++, C. The entire department rests on his shoulders and the Baron is weighing if Piter is worth putting up with. He gets the work of a department done on one salary, but also insists on making MILF jokes about lady Jessica basically any time she's within his zip code.
Would love to know your thoughts <3 Thanks for this ask!

tell us more about underfell fruition? :)
tw for confinement and medical abuse and abuse in general
Underfell Fruition
A young Sans’ attempt to escape his creator, the Royal Scientist, is a failure.
No one hears anything about it.
Life continues as normal for everyone Underground, with few exceptions.
A handful of shop owners around the Capital and the researchers working in the Royal Labs may notice that Dr. Gaster is sending a lot of new interns around on his errands instead of the young skeleton he had doing it, but nobody is especially surprised—the only surprising thing about it is that the guy had lasted so long.
The Royal Scientist gets bored of his interns easily, and everyone knows that.
Gaster is and continues to be a force to be reckoned with, a fearsome reputation and easily the power and ruthlessness to back it up.
They say he’s loyal only to Emperor Asgore himself, and he considers anyone less as utterly beneath him, minions to do his bidding and stepping stones along his path.
(Fodder for his experiments, the rumors say too, but there’s no evidence of that.)
(He’s far too careful for there to be evidence.)
Asgore allows the Royal Scientist the freedom to operate as he pleases, in spite of the doctor’s somewhat ill repute, for all the impressive work he does with the carte blanche he’s given, resulting in significant military advancements for monsterkind.
As the years go by, Gaster happily proves his worth, producing many innovations that will be invaluable when the time comes to seize the final human soul, shatter the Barrier, and take back the Surface by force.
His most famed creation is a device which produces magic limitlessly, boundless energy for its user to draw upon as if it were their own, infinite bullets and fighting potential without tiring or running dry—no one knows what it looks like save the Emperor and the Captain of the Royal Guard, but they vouch that it does exactly as advertised.
Gaster is still working on expanding the use of the device to more than one monster at a time, but its potential is clear.
In the meantime, while he gets the math to work on that, he hasn’t been idle.
His latest feat of engineering, painstakingly perfected, is a living war-machine that he calls 2P.
2P, while not truly sentient, is capable of comprehending orders given to it and employing basic problem-solving skills and intensive physical training to obey those orders with swift, devastating precision.
An army of monster-shaped weapons of its kind is a tantalizing prospect—soldiers for the upcoming war that won’t think or feel or do anything but drive forward, with unrelenting force…
But first, it needs a field test, to see if it’s viable.
Gaster lends 2P to the services of the Royal Guard, with instructions on how to command it and to report back when—not if—it satisfies all conditions of whatever tests and trials they put it through.
Captain Undyne is…far from satisfied.
Not with 2P’s performance, of course, for its strength and speed and obedience are everything the Royal Scientist advertised it would be.
But…
There are signs she’s seeing, things she’s noticing as she works with 2P that she…really wishes she wasn’t.
2P isn’t supposed to feel pain, but she’s caught it wincing or favoring something after a heavy blow.
It isn’t supposed to think for itself, but she’s seen it in Waterfall, gazing out over the glowing pools and sparkling crystals with an expression she can only describe as ‘thoughtful.’
It’s not supposed to be sentient…but she saw it, smiling when she told her soldiers a stupid joke during training—and she saw fear in its eye-sockets when it realized she was looking, before it went coolly, irreproachably blank again.
It’s only a suspicion, a gut feeling pushing insistently through the denial, but…
Undyne doesn’t think 2P is an ‘it.’
And if ‘it’ isn’t, that’s a very, very big problem.
She can’t report this to Gaster.
If 2P is more than a living construct meant only for battle, then telling its creator, the man with complete power over it, in charge of whether it lives or dies, is the absolute last thing she should ever do.
Emperor Asgore…
Well, she trusts Asgore, but…he’s a busy monster, weighed down by duty and grief as much as he’s always been and he trusts Gaster—as questionable a choice as that is. If it came down to the Royal Scientist’s word against her ‘gut feeling’…
She needs proof.
Something solid to open an investigation over, to really do it by the book.
Luckily, she may have an in.
One of Gaster’s assistants, a former intern, with rumors flying that she could even be his successor, if she lasts long enough.
Alphys is close to the Royal Scientist, and has clearly honed the ability to keep her mouth shut—which will be very useful for Undyne if it turns out that she’s trying to open up Pandora’s Box with her digging.
The young doctor is thankfully very willing to assist with the very very hot Captain’s covert investigation and freely shares all she knows.
Definitely only in the interest of cooperating with the law.
Yes.
But well, she is suspicious of Gaster herself and has been for some time—not because of 2P, but because of his ‘magic-creating’ device.
Alphys is a scientist and its never sat right with her, the idea of magic being created from nothing. It’s not possible, it should be coming from somewhere! But her boss always brushed off her questions, and when he started giving her looks, the same kind of looks he gave people who lost their jobs and were never seen again…she stopped asking questions.
Gaster is almost certainly up to something shady, and if the Guard is getting involved, maybe now they have a chance to figure out what.
Unfortunately, Alphys wasn’t brought in until well after 2P’s completion. She was never allowed to be involved in any of his training and refinement, so she isn’t much help there…
She does make an attempt to pull up its documentation, but what she can access is heavily redacted, and the rest is locked behind Gaster’s credentials.
The most she can find is a mention of an earlier iteration, a 1S, but nothing about it beyond it being put into storage, and nothing at all after that point.
It’s most likely just a failed prototype, but it could be a place to start, if they can track it down to wherever it’s been stored.
It takes a lot more digging, some risky exploration and a bit of hacking into systems she definitely should not have access to, but Alphys manages to find what she thinks is the ‘storage’ mentioned in the notes—an extremely deep basement level of the Royal Labs, far below the other floors and not shown on any blueprints, locked up tight.
She can’t investigate further…but Undyne can.
A gut feeling isn’t cause for a search, but a secret unsanctioned dungeon beneath the labs that no one knows about with such high security…?
That’s something that warrants the Emperor’s notice.
Asgore is not best pleased to hear that his Royal Scientist has kept such a secret from him.
He orders that Gaster be detained pending further investigation, and is quite unpleasantly surprised when—even at his order—Gaster refuses to cooperate and allow access to the elevator down.
Undyne takes Alphys and 2P with her to investigate anyway. If Alphys can’t hack the door, then 2P should be able to brute-force it.
Besides, whatever’s down there… 2P’s probably seen it before and can help handle it.
What they find…is not pretty.
There’s evidence there, the dust of monsters Gaster ‘disappeared’ because they got in his way, or simply because he could.
Shambling amorphous creatures that once were monsters, Fallen Down and resurrected with DT, only to melt into each other, amalgamated beings. ‘Impervious to damage,’ the Royal Scientist had written of the poor souls he kept locked away, ‘possibly useful, further testing needed.’
And…far back, in the very last room—barely the size of a broom-closet—a skeleton.
Another skeleton, strapped down to a chair and hooked up to more monitoring equipment than even Alphys has seen at one time before.
This one is nothing at all compared to 2P, short where 2P is tall, frail where 2P is sturdy, sickly-looking and seemingly half-dead where 2P is strong and healthy and alive.
“Th-this…must be 1S—”
“SANS.”
The captain and the doctor both jump to realize that 2P was the one who said it.
It doesn’t speak again though, for all that it’s staring very intently at the other skeleton in room, utterly frozen and immovable in the face of this sick and terrible discovery.
Because…the thing is…
………
He was just…gone, one day.
Their creator never spoke his name again.
He wouldn’t acknowledge him, that he’d ever existed.
And 2P…
He…forgot.
He tried to forget, because Sans wasn’t real.
Sans was never real, Sans was something he made up to pretend he wasn’t alone in a horrible place with a horrible man who said he wasn’t a ‘he,’ he was an ‘it’—and he had to forget any stupid ideas he had that he was anything but an object, a tool meant to take orders and obey and don’t think, never think, never want, never be anything but 2P.
Never be…
Papyrus.
He is…Papyrus.
And his brother is real.
Alive, though just barely.
1S—or, Sans, apparently, takes some time to come around from his heavily-sedated, comatose state, but all too eager to cooperate with the strange monsters hovering over him when he sees his brother is among their number.
The story as he tells it is this.
He and Papyrus were creations of the Royal Scientist, created from his body—his kids, if the man had been any less of a maniac, but since Gaster is indeed a maniac, he planned to keep them under his thumb for the rest of their lives and use them (but especially Papyrus) in all kinds of fucked up, illegal experiments, to mold them into whatever he saw as their greatest utility.
Sans tried to snatch his little brother up and run, but he got caught, and Gaster got to have his way.
Papyrus became the living war-machine dear old dad had always wanted, and Sans—who had fucked up by proving he was a stubborn, uncooperative jackass who no threat against him or his brother could seem to control—was repurposed.
See, he’d always generated magic at a pretty high rate, but after what Gaster did, he became a battery, a constantly replenishing source of energy to be drawn on at any time, an impressive little toy to win some brownie points with the Emperor and earn even freer reign to do whatever the hell he wanted, whenever he wanted.
Alphys has to double and triple-check the readings on the monitoring equipment around him to believe it, but he really is the source of Gaster’s impossible device, producing massive quantities of magic with such incredible range that (if she’s reading it right) Gaster or anyone else using it would be able to siphon his magic from miles away.
But that’s not the only thing Sans can tell them.
He also knows, and is more than happy to provide, several passwords and access codes that the Royal Scientist was too lazy or too cocky to change in the years since he put Sans under and locked him away.
Which is, of course, access to more than enough detailed and meticulously recorded evidence of Gaster’s crimes against monsterkind to shut him down.
Permanently.
The Royal Scientist is unceremoniously fired, convicted, and eventually, executed.
Alphys, who played a large role in bringing him to justice and is a brilliant and respectable scientist in her own right is ushered in as his replacement, and Undyne is given several honors for her dedication to uncovering and bringing down corruption at the highest level.
The skeleton brothers receive support—both official and unofficial—from the crown in order to integrate into society without undue hardship, after the significant hardship they already faced.
Life continues as normal, but maybe a little bit better now.
Carmine (Underfell Fruition Sans)
In poor physical condition at first due to how long he spent unconscious and immobile, but recovering mobility and independence as fast as monsterly possible (fuck the wheelchair, fuck the crutches, fuck soup, he is gonna walk his ass to a damn burger and nobody is gonna stop him)
Only vaguely aware of time having passed while comatose, but as his magic grew stronger and his range stretched, he developed an ability to poke into peoples’ heads. It’s very surface-level, mostly just skimming thoughts off the top, but he’s found himself drifting through enough monsters’ subconscious that these days, most people Underground might not recognize him but still get the feeling that he’s hauntingly familiar
Still overproducing magic at an extreme rate due to modifications made to his body, magic which he actually needs to use in large amounts regularly. If he doesn’t, he starts to physically overheat and things around him start to fritz a bit from the outpouring of excess magic, which is naturally something he’d rather avoid if possible
Eager to make up for lost time, open-minded to all kinds of new stuff he never got around to doing before he got locked up
A little bit cocky, loud and arrogant, but with just enough boyish charm and joie de vivre to pull it off…most of the time
Tank (Underfell Fruition Papyrus)
Extremely physically powerful due to biomodifications over the years as he was growing up, very tall, wide, and strong. His soul was also…adjusted, and he no longer takes damage from even the most vicious and lethal intent, only physical or magical attacks that land can harm him
Struggles significantly with free will and independent thought—largely due to how heavily punished and very not allowed any signs of choice or independence were. Slowly getting comfortable with being a person, and being allowed to be a person again, supported heavily by his brother and Undyne
Went a very long time under the impression that his brother was a figment of his imagination, and there’s some…complex feelings there, that he was real and alive and trapped the whole time and he didn’t do anything about it. Said brother doesn’t blame him in the slightest, but it may be awhile before the two of them aren’t a package deal everywhere they go
Likes things that are slow and with obvious correct ways of doing them—or at least no wrong way of doing them, so he can take it at his own pace and not be afraid of making a mistake
A little stoic and a lot intimidating, but (with a bit of patience beyond that first impression) curious and gentle and just starting to learn what it means to be himself

📚 The Culture of Learning
The Academy isn't just about academic achievement but also about instilling a deep-seated ethos of service and responsibility towards time and the wider universe. It's complemented by:
The Codex of Disciplines: A guide to the ethical and practical aspects of time travel and interaction with both time and the multitude of species across the universe.
Competitive and Collaborative Learning: From zero-gravity hyperball teams to Academy Sprint Championships, Time Lords are encouraged to excel in both individual and team endeavours.
Hope that helped! 😃
