this is just a me thing but i find i cant much ingest content about bad alien races or whatever where the premise is like. the main character drops down on a planet and has to deal with the violent alien race because first off. you are a visitor to that planet if you come in there and they dont exactly want you there i can reason why the aliens would be aggressive. two i was spoiled by outer wilds so at this point the ''these people on a different planet want you DEAD'' plot in most sci fi just makes me yawn. like just go somewhere else then thats their home after all

#its because (EOTE SPOILERS) in OW the owlk are aggresive for a very good reason you are an intruder and they are making you wake up #so you get out of their simulation. and the game doesnt really take the stance i dont like because theres no way to be aggresive back #you are recognized as an outsider and therefore have to play as an outsider stealthing around and not disturbing who are left in there #and it also makes sense why they wanna re adjust your spine #theyre terrified and a common reaction to fear is aggression. literally fear of the unknown is a major plot to the game #and its going both ways between you the hatchling and them the owlk where they are scared of you just as you are scared of them #so what theyre trying to do is wake you up and what you are trying to do is avoid them #but fear of the unknown where people drop on planets that look like they can hold life and suddenly youre surprised theres life there? #thats just hilarious in how stupid your mc looks. like there are trees and bushes here you are probably on someones property

When is your next fic gonna come out? Not to be mean or anything but it usually takes you a while to post and then it's only 2k words as well. It doesn't take long to write 2k words so why such a wait between them?

I love your fics and I think your a great writer but I don't like waiting weeks or months just for 2k words :/

"not to be mean" you knew exactly what you were doing, so let's clear this up; this is not my job. i am not being paid to write and post fics. i have no obligation to write and post fics. i do it because i enjoy it. if i sit and worry about how often i post fics then my writing will get worse because i'm rushing and nobody's going to enjoy it. not that i have to explain it to you, but the reason there is such a long period of time between my fics is because i am a human being anon. i have shit i need to get done that are more important. i have an iron deficiency that is currently unmedicated because i live in a country that couldn't give less of a shit about its people. i struggling with staying awake because i have no energy. what's easy for you isn't as easy for everyone. i don't give a shit if you don't like waiting, i'm not going to force myself to rush fics and potentially cause my health to deteriorate even further for some entitled person on the internet who hides as an anon. i will post fics when i finish them. im never going to set a deadline for them either. and it isn't a debate, my wellbeing is more important than my content. suck it up or leave. those are your options.

Back to topic: I wasn't aware of this comment till I opened my inbox but I read anon's other comments in my other fics and I get that they meant well. While I sorta get where they're coming from for this one cz in fact this isn't the 1st time someone had pointed out a similar thing to me, and despite that this is not my ship, let's remember that it's basic decency not to trash others' ships or preferences, let alone others' works 😊 Besides, my work is mine, my headcanons are mine, free from others' influences. I couldn't care less how most of this ship's fans wanted them to be/perceived. It's got nothing to do w/ me so don't associate me or my fic to whoever or any other aspects in that ship. I wrote whatever my brain wanted. And remember that curiosity kills the cat, which is why if I were anon I'd never bother to look at tags or things that I dislike lmao
