i like how twisted the companions views are on the doctor
andy said it spot on in “get andy” that people who travel with the doctor start to loose the importance of death, that traveling with the doctor makes them ‘less human.’ rory also told the doctor that he ‘doesn’t know how dangerous he makes people to themselves when he’s around.’
ace and martha, two companions who have rocky relationships with the doctor, still find them to be a good person and stick within the companion mindset* despite both having a very good reason to not like the doctor
ace even called the doctor her bestfriend while describing (bad) life altering events that happened because of him
i dont know exactly where this was going, but companions putting the doctor on a pedestal is very interesting to me
***companion mindset is what i call the infatuation that people have about the doctor. most characters (and i mean basically all of them besides villains) have this but especially companions
Last summer i went to Staten Island just to visit some places were “The King of Staten Island” was filmed and i had an incredible adventure, also met lots of people who met him.
Here’s my solo trip in New York looking for Pete :)
(Picture up here is fake ‘cause unfortunately i han’t met him yet )
