Many wardrobes can easily be separated into two categories: statement-making pieces, such as sequined, printed, or ruffled designs, and classic wardrobe staples, like a simple, basic t-shirt and jeans. It's the latter that tends to be the most versatile, balancing out outrageous items while also working together to create easy, simple, and classic outfits. And among the basics, a blazer is an investment worth making.
There are numerous ideas of how to style a blazer, whether you're using it to balance out something more elaborate, like a beautiful dress, or making a sweat suit feel fancy with a structured layer. A bold-colored option can balance out a bold pattern, while a Barbie pink colour option can add a welcome splash of color. Moreover, since there are so many different types of blazers, you can find a shape, size, or detail that works best for you and your fashion style.
Some Ideas of What to Wear with the Blazer are at the Bottom:
With Jeans: One of the best tricks for styling a blazer is with blue jeans. It adds a bit of charm to what would otherwise be a simple look, pulling everything together and providing extra warmth on winter days.
With Shorts: When it's not too cold and not too hot, it can leave any fashion lover feeling stumped. Styling your blazer with shorts and having it double as a light jacket provides the perfect amount of warmth for in-between
With a Matching Bottom: it's the same idea as a suit, just with your own clothes. If you're looking to dress things up, try to pair it up with a matching bottom, like pink or black.
With a Skirt: Something printed, pleated, or sequined will feel less over-the-top with the help of a structure Alternatively, a brighter blazer can add some charm to a simple black skirt.
With Sweatpants: The happy medium between comfy and style. A blazer has the ability to truly transform casual pieces and pull a look together for any occasion. Styling it with sweatpants will look amazing.

Translation from Gyakuten Saiban Fan Book

What sort of person is Miles Edgeworth?!
Phoenix's best friend and rival, Edgeworth, has gained a reputation among fans throughout the trilogy of being a man who carefully hides the chinks in his armor. Mr. Inaba and Mr. Iwamoto seem to have rather different opinions on the finer points of his character.
Mr. Inaba's comments
Interviewer: What blood type do you think Edgeworth is? (T/N: in Japan, it's believed that blood type reflects a person's personality)
Inaba: I happen to think he's type B.
Iv: What gives you that impression?
Ia: It's not so much that I dislike B types as I find them intimidating. They seem strong and I feel like I can't stand up to them.  I think good-natured people can generally be found in the O type category (lol).
Iv: By the way, what type are you, Mr. Inaba?
Ia: I'm a meticulous, cleanliness-loving A type Virgo. Also, I think Franziska is an A type like me. On the outside, we look like punks, but we have a fragile side that comes out looking a bit crybaby-ish sometimes. Kinda cute, don't you think?
Iv: Actually, most players seem to feel that Edgeworth is an A type Virgo (lol). So how about his birthday?
Ia: In the winter. I feel like winter suits him.
Iv: What sort of place do you think he lives in?
Ia: Definitely not in an official residence. He seems like he's probably swimming in old heirlooms (lol).
Iv: What sort of hobbies or luxury foods do you think he enjoys?
Ia: I feel like he probably plays some expensive sports and lounges at home in his robe with a glass of wine. My image of him is that he's like a host club host. His lifestyle is like a host's (lol).
Iv: Do you think he listens to music?
Ia: I feel like if I say he listens to classical, that would make him seem too proper, so… I think he listens to new and old American and European music equally.
Iv: Do you think he has a cellphone?
Ia: He's definitely got one. One with a simple but sleek design.
Iv: And finally, what do you think his type is?
Ia: Hmmm… someone warm, I guess? This is kinda basic, but I feel like he cares more about how someone is on the inside, rather than their appearance, and he probably prioritizes personality. He might be surprisingly disinterested in women. Maybe he'd accidentally treat his partner coldly or something. Oh, I kinda touched on this earlier, but for Franziska, I think she seems like the type who'd be difficult to win over but would fall in love surprisingly easily, so I hope Edgeworth will do his best (lol).
Mr. Iwamoto's comments
Iv: Mr. Inaba said he thinks Edgeworth was born in the winter, and players overwhelmingly agreed with that. What do you think, Iwamoto-san?
Iwamoto: Edgeworth was born in June, just like me who voiced him in the games! And I think he was born in Chiba Prefecture because I was too (lol).
Iv: So from your position as the voice of Edgeworth (lol), what type of place do you think he lives in?
Iw: Either a designer penthouse, or somewhere surprisingly simple, like a place with plain concrete walls. I feel like he lives in an unexpectedly functional apartment. At least more than you might think, based on his frilly outfit.
Iv: So considering the type of room you imagine him living in, what sort of clothes do you think he wears at home?
Iw: Clothes that are out of touch with reality. Like the kinds of things most normal people wouldn't wear, or like… Like he wears silk just because, or instead of a regular shirt, a prince-like blouse. I feel like Manfred Von Karma probably influenced him there, but he dresses more plainly now than he did when he was younger (lol).
Iv: Maybe he started to notice that he didn't quite fit in with others (lol). It might be because of his frilly clothes, but he seems to be in better shape than Wright. Is his build based on your own, Iwamoto-san?
Iw: No way (lol). But I did sneakily make him the same height as myself.
Iv: Since he's in such good shape, do you think he does sports?
Iw: Maybe long distance running. He seems like the type who might go out jogging by himself in silence to "outrun his sins…" (lol)
Iv: What do you think his blood type is?
Iw: B type. I don't really have any real basis for that, he just strikes me as a B type.
Iv: And what do you think Edgeworth's type is?
Iw: Let's see, maybe someone enthusiastic and passionate? (Lol) Like maybe he likes the kind of person who charges recklessly into things? And that's not just for women but in general the type of person he likes.

The hatchetman
Tumblr media
A very notable and classic 'Mech. The first produced in the Inner Sphere in centuries. An impressive and extremely effective urban fighting unit. Also, I cannot help but find it somewhat cute. Even an basic Spheretech AC/10 is not to be trifled with at such close quarters, contrary to the beliefs of some of my fellow Clan Warriors. Which that arrogant fledgling "Point Commander" Helmer found out the hard way... regardless of my reminiscing, an extra two lasers, and of course the eponymous hatchet, allow it to continue to deal damage even once it is out of ammunition, meaning it is often dangerous far longer than many other 'Mechs in urban combat. Add to that an array of Jump Jets, and it ultimately stands as a formidable ambush predator, and a danger in one-on-one duels. It does not do so well in open combat, however, though I recall one... inspired Periphery mercenary outfitting his Hatchetman with armored components, a small cockpit, and as many other survivability enhancements as he could, and then using his jump jets to close the distance even in open combat, or using the - and this is true - jump jet he'd added to his hatchet to make it into a crude and devastating ranged "tomahawk". Personally, as a somewhat unique individual among the Clans - in that I possess my own built-in melee combat weapons - I feel a strange kinship with the Hatchman. Were I to pilot one, I might migrate more towards the Kuritan -5K variant, though had I a choice, I would keep the AC/10 instead of the MRM-30. Or perhaps a hybrid of the -5K and the more contemporary -8S, keeping the sword, but otherwise sticking to the -8S design.

PROPAGANDA
SKYE (LOST IN BLUE)
1.)
Lost in Blue is a survival game for the Nintendo DS. The plot is that there was a shipwreck and 2 teenagers were stranded in an island.
You play as Keith, a boy with some survival skills. The other character is Skye. Skye can't see shit without her glasses, that accidentally break at the beginning of the game.
For the rest of the game, you have to keep yourself and Skye alive. You pretty much have to do everything yourself because all that Skye can do is sit around, make ropes and baskets, and of course cook for both. Skye can't do anything else. She pretty much never leaves the shelter by herself. If you need her to go somewhere you have to walk her there, holding her hand. She can't even start a fire to keep herself warm or care for her domesticated animals. (It also doesn't help that the AI is glitchy and she'll sometimes starve even if you left her with plenty of food (among other fun things)).
All of this has the in universe justification that she can't see without her glasses, but it just feels like the devs found an excuse to make her stay in the kitchen, even in a deserted island.
There's actually an unlockable Skye Mode, but you're limited to the first area of the game and all you can do is cook for Keith.
It's an alright game but would it have killed the devs to have, like, a gender selection option? You could choose a character to play and the other one would be the 'support' character. But nooo, the woman stays in the kitchen and requires constant supervision to not fuck up.
SONIA HEDGEHOG (SONIC UNDERGROUND)
1.) She's basically the only recurring female character in the show, she's stereotyped as vain and petty in un unflattering manner, basically every male character except her brothers keeps hitting on her, she's victim to the classic sonic 'every female character has full outfit while the boys just have gloves and shoes' she's frequently drawn with more realistic body proportions than the other hedgehogs to make her appear 'sexy' even though she is canonically a minor (17 years old.) Half of the conflicts in episodes focused around her (which are few and far between) are about how she wants something and and won't listen to reason, so she puts herself or the other characters in peril to get it. Her main voice actor is Sonic's VA doing a weird voice, she's intentionally written to be naggy and annoying to her brothers, and always cares more about her appearance than anyone else, which frequently gets her into danger.

I hope you don't mind me asking but did classic Slade in orginal comics did anything to Terra? I mean I know he used and manipulated her and i know it's hinted that they had sex in later versions/reboots, but does anything like that happened in the original story?
I don't mind at all! Funnily enough I have received a very similar ask a while ago, but I feel I haven't answered exhaustively so here's a more complete breakdown of Slade and Terra's relationship.
I will assume that with "the original story" you mean the very first time Terra, or Tara Markov, ever appeared - which would be in New Teen Titans (the run from 1980), specifically in the story known as The Judas Contract. And as far as I know, this run is the only one in which Slade actually had sexual intercourse with her.
This is what George Pérez had to say about Tara:
(...)when you see her for the first time wearing full-make up and dressed in a provocative outfit, where you know she's just been in bed with Deathstroke, it does jab you a bit. "Whoa, good God! This little girl is a slut!"(...)
Wolfman and Pérez never had an ounce of sympathy for her, and aimed to portray her as a psychopathic teenage "little slut" that "used and seduced" Slade Wilson the Deathstroke. Baffling (and imo quite ridiculous) as this take is, this is roughly how it went:
Tara was born from the King of Markovia. She obtained earth manipulation powers through serum experiments, but then was sent to the US to prevent a scandal because she was an illegitimate daughter of the king. There she started selling her services as a hitman and a spy, and that's how she met Deathstroke - Slade was looking for a way to gain information and the upper hand over the Titans, to avenge his son Grant's death and fulfill his contract with HIVE, so he and Tara staged a fight in which she helped the Titans and got accepted among their ranks. She started feeding Slade info through cameras she had on herself, and through first hand recounts of their missions and trainings, and that is how Slade originally came to know the Titans' civilian identities. The reader finds out that they are in fact allies by being shown a panel of Tara half naked and smoking, with Slade nearby getting dressed.
Tumblr media
(here's some of said panels)
Her death is her own doing: she feels disgusted with Slade after he shows his paternal love for Joseph when shit with HIVE hits the fan, and in her rampage and attempt to kill the Titans alone, she pulls the HIVE complex down upon herself with her powers.
Basically the fact that she sleeps with Slade is supposed to serve as a reminder of her low character and moral depravity, and to shock the readers that thought she was a cute little angel. This is Tara in a random scene with the Titans:
Tumblr media
(Dick just announced that he's not going to be Robin anymore, and he's not wearing part of his suit hence the weird all-green look. It's so cute how physically close he is with the other Titans btw, and Tara has just been elected as one of them, so she's included in the group affection smooches)
There isn't a real judgement of Slade in the text as far as I remember, not even from Adeline (whose role in the story is to provide Dick the info he needs to understand who Slade is and why he does what he does), and the only time the situation gets talked about is in a later issue, during a conversation Slade has with Garfield who brings up how Slade slept with Tara. I can't find the panels at the moment but I recall that Slade's reply is more or less "does it change anything considering what happened?", and there isn't any real rebuttal from Garfield's part.
Now, and again this is only as far as I know, there isn't any other version of Tara that canonically slept with Slade.
In Teen Titans 2003 (the animated series) Slade manipulates Terra into leaving the Titans in favor of joining his side, preying on her insecurities and need for guidance. Now I personally believe that they indeed had a sexual relationship which couldn't be shown, due to tt03 being a show for kids and therefore heavily censored, but that's just my personal opinion and the canon of the animated series is that Slade did not indeed sleep with her.
In Deathstroke Rebirth (2016) there's a flashback regarding Tara and how Slade used her to further his own goals, and they're shown kissing and exchanging love vows but it is made abundantly clear that Slade was toying with her and manipulating her. What exactly happens between them is left vague on purpose, but upon getting asked, Christopher Priest (who wrote the story) said they never had sex despite Tara's insistence.
In Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (animated movie from 2017), which is a (very) loose adaptation of the comic issues from 1980, Tara is again born in Markovia but not as royalty. Due to her powers, that are innate in this case and not a result of experiments, the townsfolk label her a witch and would have killed her if not for Slade's intervention. He saves her as a child and what happens next is unclear, but at some point she's shown as a teen, on a mission to infiltrate the Titans and feed Deathstroke information on their real identities and how to capture them, as both her and Slade are working on behalf of Brother Blood. She's desperate to gain Slade's affection and approval, and as such she falls for his manipulation when he promises her they will be together after the mission is complete (which is also what keeps her in line, being that she grows fond of the Titans in the meantime, so Slade manages her by promising her a life together). Despite the grooming, he also rebukes all her attempts to have sex with him, and it's clearly stated that no intercourse happened between them.
I believe these are all the instances in which Tara is shown in any relation to Slade, and again the only time they actually had sex was back in the 80s in The New Teen Titans - but that's also the only time Tara got so overtly and wholeheartedly villainized. In every other story she appears as a troubled individual with a dark past, and it's textbook that Slade used her youth and naivety to further his own goals.

It's now time to talk about the tumultuous 40s
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now fashion may not be the first thing that comes to mind when we think of the 1940s. Considering this was the decade where the second world war took place, and a horrific genocide that slaughtered millions, fashion isnt at the forefront of our minds. Oddly enough though, it is during this time that many fashion designers that we know today (namely Hugo Boss, Coco Chanel) were known Nazis, and produced the SS uniforms. Obviously I think that's horrific and want to keep that in mind as we go through this decade.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With that said, the 40s are known for its simplicity. As we know, I really do prefer this. I think simplicity is under appreciated and we tend to get lost in the vast variety of clothing available to us. It’s always good to get back to the basics when in doubt. Because of the war, the priority of fashion was practicality and the materials available were limited. This created a simple, practical style, and I honestly really like the idea of this. As much as I love fashion, for an everyday sort of thing, you have to be practical. It’s for this reason that I opt for my 1460s docs as my shoes most days for example.
Above, you can see two outfits that to me really encompass the 1940s. Women started really wearing pants all the time during this decade (popularized by Katherine Hepburn, among others), because of the practicality, which of course I like. I think nicely fitted dress pants or plain cotton pants (like the ones seen above) can really go a long way. The simple cotton fabrics look elegant. It’s simple, casual, but chic and tasteful. To me, it is the perfect effortless look, the first image especially. It's why I love linen pants and tops, especially in the warmer seasons. Those white, plain cotton button down blouses (seen on the left) are a key component of this decade (which I love!!!). Belts (second image) and other accessories are also seen, which as we’ve established I am a big fan of. These looks are really what dominated the 40s. Underrated in my opinion, not everything has to be crazy and flashy to be fashionable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next look I want to talk about is the more “feminine” and dressier side of the decade. This would be the less practical side (which I still love), the more fashionable side if you will. As you can see, long hemlines were popular during this era. On the left is a dress, with the fitted waist that was common. I personally love this dress. It's modest, as to be expected for war times, but also feminine. It’s of course simple, but the little details are really what I love. The buttons match perfectly, the belt is exactly what’s needed (in my opinion) to add shape without losing elegance. I love the belted-waist, and it is something I even do with my own dresses and such (that are looser or cut similarly to the one in the photo). The gloves are also a nice addition, which was also popular during this time. As I've previously mentioned, I really do prefer simpler, more sophisticated, elegant, and classically feminine looks. This is really what the first look means to me.
Similarly, the second image is simple but fitted enough. It’s a two piece, a long hem lined skirt with a matching blouse/top, which recurs throughout the decade. Once again, the little detail of the buttons add a nice touch. Maybe that’s a strange thing to notice, but I really do love buttons, especially on sets like this. They add a nice little flair, and have to coordinate with the rest of the outfit. That may just be because I'm the type of person that focuses on small things. But it's because of people like this that we have to make sure everything is coordinated. The collar in both outfits is also high and very specific to the decade of the 1940s (and a bit before, as well as after), which matches the modest elegance I talked about.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That brings us to the end of this era. Thanks for reading and following around yall, and stay tuned for the next decade as we are approaching my favourites xx.

Heian-Period Makeup Lookbook
Get all dolled up for court with Lady Mukugetsubo, inspired by this post by Sunpi and this article on Heian-period makeup by a reenactor, as well as this post on Heian-period court outfits by another reenactor.
Tumblr media
At the moment, she’s looking a little less than ready--she’s still in her underpants and her hair’s in her face.
Tumblr media
Unless the house is on fire, she’s not ready to go out at all. Let’s fix that!
Tumblr media
First, she has her hair combed and pulled off her face.
Tumblr media
If necessary, she has her hagurome, or teeth-blackening, reapplied, and re-plucks her eyebrows. The tooth-blackening was made iron filings or oak gall, among other ingredients, and served as an early form of dental sealant.
Tumblr media
Once her eyebrows are plucked, facial wax, or bintsuke, is applied to her face and the visible portion of her neck. This serves as an early form of makeup primer.
Tumblr media
Then, the white face paint, or oshiroi, is applied. As she’s a lady of rank, this is the “good” stuff, ugiusu no fun, made with white lead and nightingale droppings; ladies of lesser means (or queasy stomachs) used rice powder.
Tumblr media
Next, the beni, or safflower, lip paint is put on for the classic bold red lip.
Tumblr media
Once the lip paint is applied, melted sugar is painted over it to make it shine.
Tumblr media
Finally, charcoal is painted halfway up her face to make the classic hikimayu eyebrows.
Tumblr media
Now Lady Mukugetsubo can restyle her hair in the fashionable manner.
Tumblr media
Then she can put on the many layers of uchiki sugata over her madder-dyed hakama and kosode. The uchiki sugata is the most basic court garment, with at minimum five or six uchiki layered over each other; even in the height of summer, some ladies wore as many as twelve uchiki.
Tumblr media
Finally, she’s ready to make her appearance at court!

Today’s compilation:
12" Of Pleasure 1994 House / Garage House / Dance-Pop
Firmly settling right into the middle of Pride Month with this look back at some vintage, early-to-mid-90s, certifiably gay dance jams. UK label Almighty Records has been a very popular outfit among the gay crowd since its 1989 founding, and with this album from '94, they put together a little collection of tunes that was made of both dance covers from their own catalogue as well as tracks licensed from other labels.
Now, you all know that classic early-to-mid-90s gay club sound. It's that carefree shit that makes you feel like you're dancing blissfully on a light and fluffy cloud. High-pitched string synths that surge and squeal; sharp, rich, and cheery piano chord stabs; soft combinations of kicks and snares; and a female vocal that exhibits some passion as she typically sings about love. It's deadly when done right, but by that same token, given that there's a basic formula for it, it can also feel, well, a bit formulaic and disposable at times too.
But there's two songs that manage to pull that sound off exceptionally well here: the "Woman's Prerogative mix" of Sybil's "When I'm Good and Ready," and the "Mad March Hare mix" of Kylie Minogue's "Better the Devil You Know." Both of these tunes apply that early-to-mid-90s gay dance formula, but Sybil's song comes with these added polka-dot electronic bleeps on it, and Kylie's song is just a prime example of the formula being executed perfectly. And both songs on the production tip involved the same people too. Sybil's was written and produced by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, and Kylie's was by Stock, Waterman, and Matt Aitken. That Stock, Waterman, and Aitken trio were known as prolific UK pop producers for quite some time too, but Aitken ended up splitting from the other two in 1991.
But my favorite song of all on this album is UK dance group Undercover's 1992 poppy house cover of Gerry Rafferty's 70s smash hit, "Baker Street." The original version of this song features probably the second most iconic use of saxophone in the entire pop music canon—just behind George Michael's "Careless Whisper"—and Undercover cleverly decided to bring it back in the early 90s to use within a dance context. But while that sax part is from the 70s, the use of it here in Undercover's version is also somewhat paradoxically way ahead of its time too, because it's utilized as the song's drop, which seems to presage that whole early-to-mid-2010s craze when using sax as the drop in a dance tune appeared to be all the rage. And I'm sure that Undercover's version received some updated remix treatment in that era too.
I also don't think that most Americans are aware of this song either, because while it was an enormous top-fiver throughout most of Europe, it didn't actually end up charting Stateside at all. So, you could probably slay something like a wedding dancefloor with this in the US, because practically no one would be expecting to hear that famous Gerry Rafferty sax part, and once they did, it might cause them all to collectively lose their shit 🤯. It would probably work better with the radio edit instead of this extended version though, because the radio edit hides the sax until the chorus, and this extended version actually opens with some of it.
And another reason why I particularly adore this song is because it also incorporates my favorite synthesizer sound from this era: the Korg M1's Organ Preset 2, which has been used in a whole bunch of different songs, and perhaps most famously in Crystal Waters' "Gypsy Woman," which is another early 90s gay club classic.
Much of this album honestly feels a bit lacking almost three decades later, but the few tunes that I've mentioned in this post here still make for some exquisite examples of terrific early-to-mid-90s gay dance fare.
🏳‍🌈Happy Pride!🏳‍🌈
Highlights:
Sybil - "When I'm Good and Ready (The Woman's Prerogative mix)" Kylie Minogue - "Better the Devil You Know (The Mad March Hare mix)" Undercover - "Baker Street"

I agree with what you just said about this place, basically Bill's fandom and I use that word loosely, being dead AF. It's, he, is so boring lately. It took me awhile to really mean that bc I wanted to hope his light would come back again. But he doesn't seem to care about his fans or even himself anymore. Have you noticed he wears the same black outfit (black shirt black pants or jeans) all the time now? He only manages a smile when he's not with you know who. And yet he keeps showing up with you know who. If he can't bother to care why should his fans? I just hope his acting hasn't suffered like his life has. I loved watching him in pretty much anything. Dude can act and it comes naturally. That's something other actors would kill for.
I see hes trying to give some content and trying to look good, younger ( thus the rings and earring , and all that dark clothing) BUT is not enough. He is always hiding , the news that get to come out its because fans are looking for them ... his team is most of the time silent. There is no hype around him , not even in this fandom ( not as it may have been 4 years ago x example) and next year is key , he will have at least 3 movies out in different times of the next year.
Sorry for the following rant it's just to get it out of my chest. I won't talk about that anymore from now.
I want to also say something since sometimes I get some ask that I later erase with the typical " you just hate you are not with him".
Im not stupid , I'm not in love of someone I DONT KNOW. Also I have nothing personal against Alida M, I don't know her personally to hate her. But I DO HAVE A PROBLEM with wasted privilege.
The reason why I started to like Bill and - why not- his family is because you can see they all worked to get what they want. They may have had it easier in some ways but they always wanted to go beyond , try something else to make a name on their own. I admire that. They are not the classical nepo rich kids.
A is the very opposite. She wanted to be a public persona and that's fine but only promoted her rich kid personality while traying ( in interviews ) to portray herself as a working woman. I hate fake humility. It's ok if she just wanted to be a socilite ... why lie ? why say you are an actress but don't look for more projects? why dont take classes? and if its not for you then why not USE THE POSITION you have to build something else? There is alot to do for the industry : casting, writing, make up, production, etc. She bragged on her personal social media acc about the wrong things. Contradiction at it's finnest
A contradiction that reflected onto Bill later on , the humble funny likable guy aware of his upbringing disaspeared before our eyes , he sounded in interviews more and more cocky and selfcentered. He claimed being private but at the same time was being recorded on intimate moments very often. We started to see him stressed , tired ,a shadow of who he was.
There were no changes... 'till now. I gotta acknowledge her attemps to change, also what Bill is trying to do to save - idk - his image and maybe his family too ¿? . Still the damage has been done
Anyway i'm just one among millions in the world , if I or all the people in this fandom leaves , new ones will arrive. We are replaceable.
I wish him luck in whatever he is trying to do.
And yes he can act , thats the only things that keeps his fandom slightly breathing.

Embracing Elegance: The Timeless Glamour of Leather Skirts
Tumblr media
When it comes to women's fashion, certain garments show a sense of timeless elegance and sophistication. Among these, leather skirts hold a unusual place. From their rich texture to their useful styling options, leather skirts have remained a staple in fashion for decades. In this article, we will explore the surviving glamour of leather skirts, their history, styling tips, and why they remain to be a go-to decide for fashion-forward women.
A Brief History: Leather skirts have a fascinating history that dates back periods. Primarily worn for practical reasons such as protection and warmth, leather skirts changed into a fashionable item in the 1960s and 1970s, thanks to the rise of bohemian and rock 'n' roll aesthetics. Since then, they have become synonymous with boldness, confidence, and a touch of rebellion. Today, leather skirts continue to captivate fashion fans, transcending trends and remaining a character of timeless style.
Versatility: One of the most enticing sides of leather skirts is their versatility. Whether you're aiming for a casual daytime look or an refined evening ensemble, a leather skirt can smoothly transition from one occasion to another. Pair it with a simple t-shirt and sneakers for a chic and edgy daytime outfit, or dress it up with a blouse and heels for a sophisticated night out. The options are endless, allowing you to express your personal style in countless ways.
A Statement Piece: A leather skirt is a statement piece that commands attention. Its sleek silhouette and distinct texture add an instant dose of confidence and allure to any outfit. Whether you opt for a classic black leather skirt or experiment with different colors and lengths, this attire is sure to turn heads and make a lasting impression.
Styling Tips: When it comes to styling a leather skirt, consider the following tips to create a fashion-forward look:
Balance: Leather skirts make a strong statement on their own, so balance the outfit by pairing them with softer and lighter fabrics such as silk, lace, or chiffon tops. This contrast creates a harmonious balance between edginess and femininity.
Length and Fit: Choose a length and fit that flatters your body shape. A knee-length A-line leather skirt is a versatile choice that suits most body types, while a pencil skirt can create a sleek and sophisticated silhouette.
Layering: Experiment with layering by adding a cardigan, a blazer, or a cozy sweater to your leather skirt ensemble. This adds depth and dimension to your outfit, making it suitable for different seasons and occasions.
Accessories: Complete your look with accessories such as statement jewelry, a stylish belt, or a trendy handbag. These accents add personality and enhance the overall aesthetic of your outfit.
Conclusion: Leather skirts continue to be a timeless and stylish choice for women who want to exude elegance and confidence. With their versatility, statement-making appeal, and ability to adapt to various occasions, leather skirts have rightfully earned their place as a wardrobe basic. Whether you're aiming for a casual or a more formal look, a leather skirt is a reliable fashion companion that effortlessly combines sophistication with a hint of rebellion. Embrace the allure of a leather skirt and make a bold fashion statement that transcends trends and stands the test of time.

I just realized that I’ve done something very silly!  I named myself Magical Illune, but I never talked about what magical girl anime I like!
I’ll talk about it right now, then.  I love all kinds of magical girl anime, from the light to the dark.  I know that some people think that dark magical girl anime are Bad And Wrong, but I have to disagree.  Yes, some dark magical girl anime are crappy, but not all of them.  But that’s not what this post is about.
Anyway, here are some magical girl anime that I like!
1. Pretty Cure/Precure
Tumblr media
Who could talk about magical girl anime without mentioning Precure?  It’s a magical girl megaseries from Toei Animation.  Each season (with the exceptions of Max Heart and GoGo, which are sequels to other seasons) is its own continuity, with its own setting and characters.  While the seasons do share some similar elements, each season has its own themes that make it stand out.  There are funny moments, awesome moments, emotional moments...  It’s awesome!  Each season is about 45-50 episodes long, and there are 19 seasons as of right now.  Yes, the series is still ongoing!  And the fights aren’t just about magical attacks - they usually have a ton of punches and kicks!  I like all the seasons, but my favorite is Fresh, with Smile being a close second. Two seasons, Smile and Doki Doki, were dubbed as Glitter Force, but we don’t talk about that.
2. Nurse Angel Ririka SOS
Tumblr media
This one is kind of obscure, but I love it anyway.  This anime is from 1995.  It’s about a ten-year-old girl named Ririka who is given a nurse cap as a birthday present by her crush, Kanou.  It is soon revealed that the cap is a magical item that can transform Ririka into the legendary guardian known as Nurse Angel.  Ririka winds up having to fight the evil forces of Dark Joker, who laid waste to Kanou’s home planet (yes, he’s an alien, albeit a human one) and have now turned their sights toward Earth.  The series has a healing theme and some memorable aspects, such as Ririka having a limited power source that she must find more of.  Also, there’s Dewey.
Tumblr media
Just look at him!  He is the best character in the entire show.  No, I am not taking criticism.  Anyway, although the anime still has that 1990s cheesiness to it, it gets surprisingly dark for a show aimed at young girls.  That may be why it didn’t sell enough toys and wound up being cancelled.  Still, the creators managed to bring the show to a conclusion at 35 episodes.
3. Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Tumblr media
This anime was released in 2011, and it’s the one responsible for a slew of dark magical girl anime and manga in the years that followed.  Some of them were good, others were not, but I’ll get into that later.  Without spoiling too much, I can tell you that unlike the previous two entries, Madoka is definitely not for kids.  It’s quite dark, with a storyline that explores the consequences of its magical system.  While it’s not the first dark magical girl anime, it’s undoubtedly the most popular.  The soundtrack is beautiful, the animation is (mostly) beautiful...  I really recommend this anime!
4. Sailor Moon
Tumblr media
Ah, a classic!  This anime has two versions - the 90s anime, and the ongoing remake (known as Crystal) that follows the manga more faithfully.  I like both!  This is probably the most iconic magical girl anime among English speakers, so you probably know the basic details, but I’ll explain it anyway.  The story begins when Usagi, a rather annoying crybaby, is given a mysterious brooch that she can use to transform into the magical warrior known as Sailor Moon.  She is tasked with fighting various bad guys, assembling her team of planet-themed magical girls, and finding the missing princess of the moon (whose identity is rather obvious).  Along the way, she is frequently aided by the mysterious Tuxedo Mask (yes, his outfit is as silly as it sounds).  The 90s anime is generally more lighthearted and has quite a bit of filler, but I like it a lot - it’s got this nostalgic charm to it, you know?  Crystal is also great, though it has less episodes.  I’ve also been reading the original manga, and it’s awesome!  There’s even a two-volume manga focusing on Sailor Venus’s adventures before meeting up with the other Sailor Guardians - it’s called Codename: Sailor V and I highly recommend it.  Actually, I highly recommend all of this franchise!
5. Yuki Yuna is a Hero
Tumblr media
This one is another dark magical girl series a la Madoka.  Basically, three hundred years ago, a virus killed off most of humanity, except for those living on the island of Shikoku (a real place, might I add), who were protected by the Shinju - an amalgamation of gods in the form of a tree.  Shikoku is at peace now, and it is run by the Taisha, a religious organization dedicated to serving the Shinju.  The eponymous Yuna is a member of the Hero Club, a school club that does volunteer work for the community.  However, it is soon revealed that the Hero Club is more literal than that - the girls have actually been enlisted to transform into Heroes and fight the mysterious Vertex that threaten the Shinju.  Though the battles take place in a spiritual realm, the damage that that world takes affects the real world, and if even one Vertex reaches the Shinju, the entire world will be destroyed.  The first season has some elements that I don’t like, especially considering the representation of disabled people, and there’s quite a bit of fanservice, but I still like the show.  It has three seasons, and the second season is my personal favorite.  There are also some prequel/interquel light novels, but I haven’t read those yet.  Overall, Yuki Yuna is an interesting watch for its take on religion and child soldiers.
Okay, now you know of five magical girl anime that I like.  I also enjoyed Uta~Kata, but for some reason the GIF thingy isn’t working right now, so I’ll just say that it’s good, albeit fanservicey.
I’ve also watched quite a bit of the original 2000s Tokyo Mew Mew, but to be honest, I find it a bit mediocre.  I especially don’t like those two guys who run the cafe - it seems like they’re just using the girls.  Still, I’ll finish it, and then I’ll watch the reboot and hope that it’s better.
Now, some dark magical girl anime are good, but others are not.  After watching Day Break Illusion, I determined that it was one of the latter.  Though the premise sounded interesting, it was not well executed, and it got quite creepy near the end - and not in a good way.
There are also some magical girl anime that I refuse to watch - Magical Girl Site, Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, Prisma Illya, and any ecchi or hentai works.
There are other magical girl anime that I haven’t finished yet.  I’ll give my opinions on them once I’m done.  I’m also hoping to read some more magical girl manga, especially the ones that haven’t been adapted into anime yet.  Any suggestions?
All in all, I really enjoy the magical girl genre, and I hope to add to it someday.

Enhance Your Ethnic Look with Kurta Sets
A few pieces of traditional Indian dress are as versatile and attractive as a kurta set with dupatta. This classic combination is ideal for women who desire to remember their ethnic roots while exuding elegance and charm. A kurta set with a dupatta is the perfect combo to improve your style, whether you're attending a festive occasion, a wedding celebration, or just want to add a bit of ethnic flare to your regular wardrobe. Let us explore the gorgeous attire's beauty, flexibility, and prominence.
The Kurta Set's Essence:
A kurta set normally includes three important components: a kurta (long tunic), pants, and a dupatta (long scarf). The kurta serves as the main attraction of the ensemble, with exquisite embroidery, patterns, or embellishments that provide a sense of richness. It may be made from a variety of materials, including silk, cotton, chiffon, and georgette, each of which adds a particular personality to the costume.
Styling Flexibility:
The adaptability of a kurta paired with a dupatta is one of its most enticing aspects. You may play around with different color combinations and patterns to create an outfit that matches your unique style and the occasion. A cotton kurta set with a vividly patterned dupatta, teamed with comfy leggings, is ideal for a casual day out. If you're going to a formal occasion, wear a silk kurta set with elaborate embroidery and a beautifully embroidered dupatta. A kurta set allows you to exhibit your individual fashion sense, whether you like a classic, traditional appearance or a contemporary blend.
The importance of the Dupatta:
The dupatta is an important part of Indian fashion and culture. It represents grace, humbleness, and elegance. It may be draped in a variety of forms, including the conventional front pallu drape, the one-shoulder drape, and the waist belt style, each of which creates a distinct look. The dupatta not only offers visual appeal but also serves functional needs such as sun protection and veiling during religious events. Furthermore, it allows for the display of regional crafts and art forms, such as delicate embroidery, mirror work, or hand-painted motifs.
Cotton kurta sets are a popular and adaptable alternative in South Asian fashion for both men and women. These outfits often include a long tunic-style shirt, known as a kurta, and matching pants or leggings. They come in a broad range of colors, styles, and patterns, making them appropriate for a number of situations.
The comfort of cotton kurta sets is one of their key features. Cotton is a lightweight, breathable fabric that keeps you cool in hot, humid conditions. As a result, it is a favorite option for summer weddings, festivals, and other outdoor gatherings.
Another benefit of cotton kurta sets is their adaptability. Depending on the situation, they may be worn up or down. A cotton kurta set can be matched with traditional jewelry, such as a necklace and earrings, and worn with dress shoes for a more formal event. The kurta may be worn with sandals and a loosened hairdo for a casual look.
Cotton kurta sets are extremely popular due to the variety of styles and patterns. There is something to suit every taste and style, from delicate embroidery and beading to vivid designs and bold stripes. Paisley, floral, and geometric patterns are some of the most popular patterns.
Cotton kurta sets have also been trendy among males in recent years. Traditionally used for informal occasions, they are now increasingly being worn on formal occasions as well. Men's kurta sets may include more subdued motifs and colors, such as solids or basic stripes. You will find your desired kurtas only on “Yufta 10”.

Lurkit 🎮 Making games grow
Tumblr media
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 While most fans got started with the original Hitman: Codename 47 released for MS Windows in the year , lots of new fans have discovered the franchise thanks to the reboot. These last three games brought enemy AI and operational freedom to the next level. Hitman 3 brings with it more missions than I can count — but even the biggest games can get stale after a while. And mods are your friends if you want to shake things up. Check Out This Mod. Thanks to this mod by Atampy26, you can remove them. Regrettably, the developers opted for removing it in favor of a more minimal design with only bars for Hitman , and it stuck. I get that simplicity is often for the best in these situations. Having to stay cool in stressful situations puts a lot of pressure on the bald assassin. Once in a while, he likes to blow off some steam the only way he knows how: more killing. Instead of remaining undercover, this custom mission by Andrew Pratt takes a page from Paranoia Agent and lets you run around Miami smacking people in the head with a baseball hat. Creator Winnod adds his grain of sand to beautify Hitman 3 with better pictures for your Contract Mode targets. The mod replaces images , including 16 in Paris, 21 in Sapienza, 15 in Marrakesh, etc. Games have been color-coding shortcuts and hard-to-spot climbing routes in yellow for a while now. Usually the bright yellow color helps minor, subtle marks get your attention without completely destroying your immersion. This alluring mod replaces the guards from Colorado, Santa Fortuna, Isle of Sgail, and Chongqing with female models in bathing suits and other tight clothing. For some reason, the devs left out the option to flip which shoulder you look over in Hitman 3, even though it works just fine in Hitman 2 With the Poisonous Item Pack by OnionSquid, you can experiment with all sorts of strategies involving a high amount of tactical substances like sleeping agents, emetics, and lethal gas. These tactical guns shoot sleeping and emetic darts and carry more than enough ammo for an entire mission. Hitman 3 is all about replayability. And persistent shortcuts are one way players can approach previously-cleared missions from a new perspective. One of my favorite activities in Hitman 3 is exploring the lush environments without necessarily killing anyone. Having all of these access points and passages unlocked gives me more freedom. It provides deeper colors, enhances contrast, and sharpens the image for a moody, atmospheric look. This mod will look incredible in large, opulent halls, hotel lobbies, and anywhere the light shines bright. If anything, the image of Elsa strangling someone to death with a piano cord might traumatize them. If you played through the bonus missions, you know the somewhat goofy Icon outfit worn by Dino Bosco while shooting a movie in Sapienza which Agent 47 brings to an abrupt end. Just keep in mind it only changes how your outfit looks. Among other things, it removes the vignette and color bleed from the minimap, makes NPC dots pop out more, and increases the objective text size for improved readability. Many firearms in Hitman 3 carry the Marksman perk , which lets you briefly slow down time while aiming to land shots on moving targets more easily. This exists as a basic mechanic in many shooters, and it works wonders to make you feel like a bad-ass. With this mod by Atampy26, you can make the Marksman perk a permanent boon regardless of your equipment. But if you want to give your death a more classic cinematic style, this mod by Andrew Pratt is for you. Sean Bean has participated in countless video game projects. One of my favorites so far was his role as Mark Faba, the first Elusive Target you could take on in Hitman 2. The fact that a Sean Bean model exists creates an inescapable need to play as the famous actor, and thanks to modder HMBM47, we can. Explosives are encouraged. I remember bothering my older cousin about letting me play his M-rated games for a while. Eventually, he yielded — but decided to have a little fun at my expense. He turned on his PC, navigated to The Lee Hong Assassination in Hitman: Codename 47 , and sat me — a console kid — in front of his keyboard and mouse. For a game as detailed and immersive as Hitman 3, it always surprised me to hear perfect US or UK English coming from most characters — no matter how they looked. Creator Chucky spotted this shortcoming and did something about it with the Accent Overhaul Mod, which tries to give the world of Hitman 3 a little bit more linguistic diversity. Nelson Chitty is a Venezuelan expat living in Argentina. His ideal weekend is spent between leisurely playing games of Civilization VI and looking for the next seinen anime to marathon. If you buy something we may get a small commission at no extra cost to you. Learn more. Hitman has brought us some of the most exciting special agent experiences in gaming. Stay Connected.

Meet Nova Burke

APPEARANCE
Face Claim: Nina Dobrev Height: 5'7 Hair: Nova's deep chocolate brown (nearly black) hair reaches her mid-back. She embraces her naturally loose waves and styles it with a middle part. Typically leaving her hair down, she works hard to keep every strand in place and will tuck her hair behind her ears to assist with this. Style: Nova's style is very clean and minimalist. Her closet consists of mainly neutral tones, with a few emerald accent pieces that she'll wear occasionally. Most of her outfits are considered business casual, and even when she dresses for comfort she dons a button down with jeans. Distinguishing Features: Nova has a scar on the back of her neck that was caused during a duel in her early years at Hogwarts. When her father learned of it, he was furious. Not because her daughter had been hurt, but because she embarrassed the Burke name by making the mistake of turning her back to an enemy and now had an imperfection that advertised it. Nova uses her hair to hide the scar.
PERSONALITY
Label: The Bereft Strengths: Ambitious, determined, clever Weaknesses: Cynical, self-focused, combative
EDUCATION
School: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry House: Slytherin Performance: Nova received high marks in all of her classes and was one of the top students in her year. Favorite Class/es: Charms and (secretly) Defense Against the Dark Arts) Least Favorite Classes: History of Magic and Herbology Electives: Alchemy Extra-Curriculars: None, Nova's father despised the idea of her joining any extra-curricular as it would "distract her from her schoolwork".
RELATIONSHIPS
Father: Elijah Burke Mother: Taina Burke Siblings: None, Nova is an only child. Pets: Aspen (aka Az) -- a Birman cat that Nova was given by her mother after finishing her schooling.
HISTORY
Death Eater blood runs through Nova’s veins. Her father, who narrowly escaped imprisonment in Azkaban after the last war, drilled his hatred of muggleborns into her mind. Nova happily listened, desperately hoping to make her father proud. With a father who only focused on his hatred, she would do anything to earn his love. Even support his beliefs. Shortly after Nova finished her schooling and began her career in the wizarding world, Nova’s mother passed away due to “unknown causes”. No matter who she asked, no knew (or would admit to knowing) the cause of death. However, Nova had tea with her mother the morning of her death, and she was in perfect health. The last thing she had said to her daughter before they had departed was “be true to yourself”. At first, Nova’s mother’s final words had seem like classic motherly advice. However, at the funeral, something clicked. Nova looked around at all of the purebloods filled with hatred and realized that after so many years of following her father, her facade had consumed her. Did she truly fit in among these people, or was Nova Burke someone else entirely?

Essential Bridal Outfits: For Every Modern Indian Bride To Look Upto - Mora Labels
The wedding lehenga is always the first order of the bridal fashion business, regardless of your style — classic, glamorous, or contemporary. However, saying "yes" to the lehenga is far from the only requirement for a modern bride. A wedding's many events, such as the Engagement party, Mehendi, and Haldi, necessitate distinctive clothing and look. It's enough to make a bride's head spin, but a bridal dress checklist can help you navigate your shopping, whether you're planning a large wedding or a small one.
Tumblr media
For Getting Ready: Go Easy with Floral Robes
While some brides begin their wedding day with a meditation, workout, or brunch with their bridal tribe, the getting-ready look is the first official attire. Comfort wear in between the wedding functions, quick runs to parlor, or any other wedding errands is what most bride-to-be’s forget about. A floral or other print robe, pyjama suit, or even chikankari kurti is attractive enough for images yet functional during wedding hair and makeup sessions that photographers love to capture. Specialty accents, such as a touch of feathers on her slippers or some interesting fringe on her robe, can add to the enjoyment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For Pool Parties: Easy Breezy with Off Shoulder Style
Pool parties have become increasingly popular in recent years, as brides and grooms want their guests to engage in the fun before the formal events begin. If you're throwing a pool party, whether it's for sundowners or cocktails soirée, we recommend wearing attire that's inspired by your venue or wedding theme. Is this a destination wedding? When you're at the poolside or by the beach, go for an off-the-shoulder dress or a cowl dress that will look effortless.
Tumblr media
For the Mehendi: Amp up with the Jacket Style
A Mehendi, whether casual in a family home or formal at a hotel or restaurant, is often the first event of a wedding extravaganza. Keep it relaxed and informal in a chanderi silk, cotton jacket, or cape set while you revisit the new recollections from the major occasion. We also recommend comfy shoes like flats or jhootis because you know your feet will tear up the dance floor for the engagement party the next day!
Tumblr media
For the Engagement Party: Flaunt your flair with A-line Style
The pinnacle of fun of any bridal wardrobe is an engagement party look, which allows brides to show off their flair. Choose a long dress that echoes the aesthetic for brides who already have a definite notion in mind. You can choose the trendiest of all - an A-line dress or an ethnic gown for the engagement party if you have already chosen a traditional lehenga or saree on your wedding day. It establishes the tone of your aesthetic - that stands out differently.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the Haldi: Twist it with a Dhoti Style
The Haldi dress worn on the wedding day is a popular choice among modern brides. The lehenga may be one of the most comfy Indian outfits but you can prevent seeming too basic in it by adding a cape to it while emphasizing festive elements such as sequins, beading, and shell danglers to the cape. When fully dipped in Haldi, such garments are easy to carry and walk around in.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the Wedding: Be the Queen in the Lehenga Saree Style
A Lehenga Saree is the most stylish evening dresses! It's completely unique, yet the likelihood of a lehenga Saree has been promoted. It's a beautiful blend of saree pallu with flared lehenga. It is one of the most distinctive Indian Wedding Guest Dresses that you can wear to a wedding or reception. It's also known as a draped lehenga because it doesn't have the traditional flowing skirt shape.
A draped lehenga is pleated or folded in such a way that it becomes compact while maintaining the appearance of formal wear. Draped lehengas are, of course, easy to carry, and they're usually made of lightweight fabrics because it's difficult to drape and sew together heavier or decorated textiles. This summer wedding season, you may simply make a statement appearance by investing in a draped lehenga.
