i got stuck on the seadwellers at first so i didn’t draw them in the initial batch, but here they are now!! eridan’s based on the anomalocaris and feferi is one of those very spiny trilobites. initially, I had their species flipped until I saw how cool some of the trilobites were!!!

Got Mourynn's first fullbody ref done! (I mean first as in chronologically). Not much to say here, just getting some early year fullbody refs done so I can have them to start on some scenes and lore stuff (just gotta finish her Orchid outfit next since that's her main Sapling outfit before she makes her own custom one). I'm also not used to drawing this small so I messed up the face a bit, on the side there, but oh well.

Terrible rushed picture on the way to work this morning but look at this bag i crocheted for my not-really-boss-but-she-is-in-charge-of-many-things-but-not-me-specifically-as-far-as-i-can-tell. She was super excited by all my bags i kept bringing and always complimented them and said she wished we had time for me to teach her to crochet, and i am just so unused to the relentlessly nice compliments that i ended up crocheting her a bag. You cant really see it but it has a white base as well. And its the closest i could get to rainbow colors (she is, as far as i can tell, the type of Ally TM who puts rainbows on everything), so it seemed a safe color scheme. Anyway when i gave it to her today she was speechless for a few seconds and then started punching the air

So, seems like a successful gift

what the fuck is up with flukes. theyve gotta be one of the weirdest enemies in hollow knight [spoiler alert: every enemy in hollow knight is weird and all of the lore is weird. and also hard to extrapolate]. kinda long so under a read more

flukefeys are allegedly the youngest form of flukes? so does it go flukefey -> flukemon -> flukemarm? flukemongas are just. really fat flukemons i dont think theyre like a seperate species that has evolved to be that way. if they are it could be like flukefey -> flukemon -> flukemonga -> flukemarm. but what about the little wormy dealies [they have no canon name im calling them wormy dealies] lining the walls and floors of the flukes nest? those give both soul and essence so theyre definitely alive, but are they supposed to evolved into flukefeys? wormy dealie -> flukefey -> flukemon -> flukemarm?

what even creates all the wormy dealies? its only been confirmed that flukemarm creates flukefeys. do wormy dealies just pop up out of the slime secreted by other flukes? do flukes grow kinda like flowers, you just water them [with slime or waste from the city] and they evolve into the higher tiers of flukes?

that could kind of work, but then whats the deal with flukemarm? maybe flukemarm isnt necessary for procreation but significantly speeds it up by skipping the wormy dealie step altogether? or maybe the wormy dealies need a resident flukemarm to supply the slime that they grow out of. maybe the tendrils of skin above flukemarm that connect her to the cieling also work as a root system that allows for the breeding and raising of wormy dealies.

fluke hermit says that she might be the "next mother" after flukemarm dies. what does that really mean? is she going to evolve and become a flukemarm, or continue to raise the flukes and wormy dealies that already exist down there?

if any resident hk fluke enthusiasts read this and have any ideas, i would love to know! even if theyre just headcanons, i love hearing what other people think about this sort of stuff ^^

also, completely unrelated from fluke reproduction but still valid thinking-out-loud: not a single fluke has eyes, how tf do they see? do they have like. heat vision? could be echolocation actually now that im thinking about it. would make sense as to why theyre so noisy, plus the waterways were most likely not very brightly lit up so it kinda check out. they dont have visible ears though...

1. THAT’S A GOOD QUESTION oh my god. My god it was a sonic oc I think her name was Milk (meant to be matching with Cream and Cheese) and she was a pale blue hedgehog she had 2 pigtails (2 on each side) and she was Sonic's little sister . Like if Miku was a hedgehog and also Sonic's little sister except I didn’t know much about Miku then I was just obsessed with Sonic . I had to dig SO deep in my brain for that one I was literally like. 10. maybe even 9

2. Right now it's Aniliidae… I played myself with him because I put my favourite color as his main design color so it's always so fun to draw him… also he's tall and hot so drawing him makes me always happy

5. That's tough to answer… Probably Dorado though because he's my happiest OC and he's married and filled with joy and love ! He's the only one I can MAYBE trust the public with. He's a simple happy gay married fish man and I think that's awesome.

12. Aw man I love all my friends' OCs a whole lot but the ones I see the most are those I see during dnd… though if I had to pick one…. Hmm… well I like my boyfriend @twunk 's OC Io ! It's real fun to see his growth and I'm glad we can be a better and more consistent group to share his story with !

36. YES I DO For example Dorado is married to my boyfriend @twunk 's OC Coal ! There's also all of Team Parmie which is the PCs of our last dnd campaign, and the current one with Team AIKLE ! There's a bunch more (Like Free, Claw, Percy) But I can't remember all of them rn !

43. I LIKE WARM COLORS I believe Dorado is the coldest OC I have because he's a Triton and I wanted to challenge myself with making him with cold colors. I also make my characters mostly brown bc I'm brown and I think that's awesome. I also tend to make characters with like. Their hair towards the back ? Nowadays my OCs rarely have bangs or anything like that… I think it's because I love messing with eyebrows to show emotion teehee
