Hii! Idk if you've ever done something similar, but what do you think about TADC x Skater! Reader? Like, Reader always have their skates on, like it's a part of their digital costume or smth. And i really mean ALWAYS. Someone spilled water on the floor? Reader slips down. They go on an adventure and a part of the floor is inclined? (Like a hill for example) There goes reader down the hill. I think it would be pretty funny lol

Probably poofs himself his own rollerskates, literally the only time you see him on the ground and it's so weird to look at. You guys both slip and fall because bubble wiped themselves across the floor or something

Honestly seeing caine struggle to keep steady while using the rollerskates is... very funny.. look at his lil legs wobble (tell anyone and he will tilt the ground of the next IHA)

POMNI:

Honestly she would probably slip on the floor too if its wet or has marbles. She looks like she would comically fall over, with her legs flinging straight up into the air before plopping down

Looks at you confused as you visibly try to calculate how fast this one little slope will make you go, she probably forgets you have skater feet in the beginning

Subconsciously tries to grab and stop you when you start rolling, but because shes so small you just drag her with you

Theres that squeaky noise as shes being dragged across the floor

JAX:

Throws marbles on the floor as well as other things that can make you stumble or slip... probably soaps up the floor.. thank god hes just a circus rmemeber and not like, a ringmaster... this dude would tolt the floor in so many different angles just to fuck with you... thankfully, he cant do that!

Though in another timeline... perhaps you werent so lucky...

Not much to be said here, with the bit with zooble in the pilot (the arm thing), jax is more than ready to use peoples unique digital qualities to please him or mess with them, and you being his friend only makes you slightly less likely to be messed with

RAGATHA:

Keeps a hand on your shoulder when she notices the floor is tilted, tends to walk with you while holding your shoulder still. She can only imagine what it's like to be s victim of slopes.. it would drive her nuts.. as long as shes around shes going to do her damndest to make sure you dont roll away or slip... unless jax literally throws marbles in front of you two at the very last second because who can predict that..?

In any case where theres an IHA with a DEEP slope I think she just might resort to carrying you so you dont go FLYING down

ZOOBLE:

Okay you guys might not have the same issues but they can relate to you in the jax department, with him using your qualities to his advantage. Its absolute hell.. I think it would be this shared thing that leads to you guys building a relationship in the first place

Offers to let you strap pillows to yourself to soften any blows when you fall, let's you have his softest and thickest pillows... what do you mean it throws off your balance...?

nobody asked but since I've seen a lil chatter on the DCTL Graphic Novel on tumblr too, here's the thread I posted on twitter, speaking as someone who's done a little freelance work as a comic artist, under the jump:

Main thought about the DCTL graphic novel preview is: yeah, I've made designs like that when I was being paid by the page and expected to just throw in extra design work for free and I have a deadline and no time to scour the source material or really put my heart into the design No shade to the artist; every complaint I have about the pages we've seen is that this looks like someone who was just working (quickly) from a script. The artist is likely not a Big Fan, so they only know the info and descriptions they're given. And the artist's portfolio shows they're capable of the kind of designs and dynamics this comic needed. its possible they phoned it in for no reason, but feels more likely to be "not enough time/not paid enough/not given enough info to give it that level of care." Which, don't get me wrong; an important level of craftsmanship and care is missing and im not gonna blame the artist but i AM gonna be a hater abt it lmao It's not just about designs; the convo with Joey is another good example. It's a literal illustration of the things Joey said and did in that scene, but it's missing the point -- that scene is our introduction to the way Joey throws Buddy off-balance. That energy is missing. And that's the sort of thing that needs the script to convey this purpose well to the artist, that needs the artist to have time & freedom to invest in portraying it, that needs time & investment & knowledge to ask for adjustments at early stages and get the page right one more note: begging batim fans 2 think abt the plot of DCTL and realise why "maybe we will not make the creepy guy who dies at the end a black man in this" is perhaps a reasonable choice. like im a fan of poc norman headcanons too but pls recognise this would be a tough call!! anyway, genuinely cannot wait to see how off sammy is gonna be in this lmao. will he be a mid non-design like norman or will he be conventionally handsome or will he get graphic novel dave miller vibes b/c hes an antagonist? will we get the fabled black hair sammy??? i cant wait

TL;DR I strongly suspect this was an issue of not enough time/not enough money. That design looks nothing like the description of Norman, right? Like, there's hundreds of different AU designs of all shapes, colours and sizes that you could create that would still look like Norman Polk, but somehow they managed to make a character that isnt ANY of them, lmao??? So... how could that happen, unless nobody gave the artist a description of Norman? Or if they did, how did that design make it past anyone else, unless there wasn't time for revisions or a system worked out for revisions, unless whoever was managing the comic project thought it was fine if the designs didn't fit with the descriptions in the book? If everyone is doing their job, then the artist is given the information they need without having to go do unpaid YA novel research before they can start drawing. That's why you have a writer adapting it!!

Update on the CK situation:

I'm shocked I'm saying this but, instead of Carnivorekitty giving it some time to settle down & to use that time to grow . . He just deleted/deactivated his art accounts???

His Tumblr has been deactivated & his Ck twitter account has been seemingly deleted. The Lurking for Love twitter account is still up.

Edit 2: his art twitter is still up but the tag have been changed & the account privated. Any use of the direct link to the old tag doesn't work, hence why I thought it was possibly deleted.

He has changed his now deactivated Tumblr name to "don't make your fanbase on here" which says alot . . .

His Carrd has also been cleared out, including the Toyhouse account. Although his Ko-fi & Itchio are still up. You can see a preview to the old links in the second screenshot below.

Edit 1: his carrd has also been deleted now

He has renamed his previous Carnivorekitty twitter account to yeehawcrow and has privated it.

The background image was changed after the situation. This is just another jab at his fanbase, same as all his other account name changes.

His Niwi account, the one with the transphøbia & -ism interactions, is still up but has been privated.

The name change is still up which shows that he still stands by his views. Do with that info as you will, just no harassment towards said account please & thanks.

I hope this is the last time I have to say anything or update people on the issue.

Some personal thoughts & feelings under the cut ⬇️

I am now further disappointed with Tom. I do not know if he said anything before deactivating, like a farewell or a "will be back eventually".

If he had of simply given it some time, let the dust settle, realign his mental state and then try to figure out why this was so hurtful to his fanbase. He could of had a chance to return & continue on; if he wanted too.

Of course, not everyone would be happy to see him return. Not everyone would even interact with his accounts or be willing to be in the fandom again. But it was still an option, especially if he uses this as a learning opportunity, not just for past fans or present fans, but for himself.

I personally won't be supporting Tom unless some serious growth & acknowledgment is shown. Unfortunately, I don't think thats going to happen any time soon due to the examples & links above. It might never happen or it might take months/years.

I hope Tom is safe & I hope everyone else is safe aswell. Make sure to look after yourselves & reach out to those you trust if you're not doing too hot xx

For now I will change my hyperfocus from Jacob & co onto other games & characters. It hurts to do so but there are so many good peeps out there & we shouldn't be afraid to trust them. I hug anyone who now is because of this situation 🫂

I will forever be into Milo (@/solarchaotica's oc) & will be getting back into LoveLock so I can bully my fave character Walter even tho Seb is the fan fave lol

My personal feelings on all of this? It's shitty.

People defending all of the horrible evidence, without saying they don't agree with aspects of these "questionable" simply because they want to defend CK; is shitty.

People putting things in other people's mouths, is shitty.

People burying their heads in the sand because they want to ignore it all; is shitty.

People giving excuses, even excuses as to why they are ignoring this issue or ignoring certain parts of this issue, is shitty.

People who genuinely support these types of beliefs, only joined in because they're genuinely phobic & aren't even in the L4L/murdersim community; is shitty. (& Yes I've seen it happen)

People who harrass anyone involved, Tom himself, is shitty.

People who use this as evidence to defend other past users actions, is shitty.

People who lash out their hurt through nasty words & ill wishes upon others, is shitty.

People who say anything about Tom or others ky$-ing themselves, are super mega shitty like wtf??? Don't do that???? I only saw one person but still????

It's all just super mega shitty and I hate it so much and it hurts so much to see other people be so so hurt and just aaahshsgskxbdjfb. I cried the first day, not because of my personal feelings, but because of others talking openly about how hurt this made them. Seeing my friends be hurt. Strangers be hurt. Mutuals be hurt. I could still cry if I let myself dwell on it for too long.

I wish things could of ended up better. When I posted on the situation I tried to tell peeps to keep an open mind & to look after themselves. I just hope this is a learning experience for alot of people.

Hello! I am in the middle of a td hyperfixation, and my brain has chosen Mike and his system as The Precious, so I was super happy to see a blog producing content for my beloved. For a question, because I'd like to see another hc/idea, what do you think happened that landed their system in juvie?

Sorry if you've already discussed this somewhere!!

I think Mal was the host during this time, I think he wanted to be in juvie a bit just to get away from his parents but was mad that he couldn’t do whatever he wanted to do.

Mal got them landed in juvie in the first place. He was a very reckless petty criminal but got away with most bc he was good at manipulation, which he learned from trying to survive his abusive parents.

Then, one day Vito got into a pretty public fight with someone, Mal came out and resisted arrest too. Both Mal and Vito acted very rude in probation and broke the rules of it a lot. Mal leaning more towards petty theft and Vito towards picking fights. Obviously they found out, and he got sent to juvie.

They didn’t know they were a system before they had a court ordered psychiatrist visit them in juvie on account of staff noticing he has a “possible trauma disorder” because he was having PTSD episodes and switching a lot (it wasn’t as obvious, but his opinions and reactions kept rapidly changing).

I think Mike was scared out of his MIND!!!! He didn’t want to be there at all. He didn’t even feel like he deserved to be in there because he was following rules and doing what he needed to do, he didn’t know about Mal and Vito breaking rules at that time but once he found out he was even more confused and scared that he was having these blackouts. He thought he was secretly evil or something.

Mike actually fronted a lot in juvie. Mal used this to his advantage to gain people’s trust to get closer to them.

Mike doesn’t like the fact he was ever in juvie. He keeps it as a secret because he’s extremely conscious about his image. He feels like his mental problems and family issues are enough to drive people away, he doesn’t need more of a reason for people to leave him.

Manitoba wasn’t created yet, Chester was aware of everything and he complained about it all the time, and Svetlana was too scared to front.

Vito was annoyed to be in Juvie but he was very social in it, which was a good and bad thing. He met a lot of people he got along with, and a lot he didn’t. And Vito has a problem with anger and fighting, which got them a lot longer of a stay. He made quite a lot of friends despite that, none of which he ever saw again.

Mal wasn’t keen on making friends, he preferred to get to know people only so he could use them to do his bidding, get him things, and make living there easier for him. He used people for money a lot and stole from his “friends”. But he always kept buddy-buddy with them out of obligation.

He did find tormenting those who already didn’t like them fun. He had a lot of pent up aggression from dealing with abuse, and took it out on those around him. He would do just horrible shit that would intimidate anyone from messing w/ him.

Duncan was SCARED of him. He totally didn’t cross his path unless approached, which he was only really asked for money and supplies which he always gave them.

Mal was sooooo theatrical. Obviously, his signature whistle that he would do walking down the hall. He also did it when he was about to confront someone, so thats how people would know shit was about to go down.

People stayed away from Mike a lot because they knew what would happen if they didn’t. Mike was very lonely and he didn’t like Vito’s friends at all so he would try to avoid them. He just assumed they wanted something from him, he didn’t know they were already established friends with him.

A lot of people think Mal lost a tooth in a fistfight, but honestly I see it more as his parents never giving him dental care. (Image of baby eating sand with the caption I let him eat sand because I dont like him)

His parents called him in juvie, mostly to yell at him for being such a bad child and “ruining their family”. Mal didn’t let this bother him, but Mike took it hard and hated himself.

Mal never wanted to leave juvie, it was like a vacation from abuse. At Vito’s age the abuse towards him had already stopped but he was glad he didn’t have to see his abuser(s) on a regular basis.

When they were forced to get therapy, Mal told everything he knew in order to hopefully bring his parents to justice, but he only got a diagnosis out of it.

i wanna see you look at blitz turnaround sheet tbh :3 his design is one of the more interesting and better ones from either show, and my only real issue is the eyes on his gloves, his ripped up suit cape thing, and his feet being literal high heel boots. like if he takes his shoes off, his feet are high heeled shaped. octavia actually has the same problem! thats not related but just another iconic vivziepop design trait i hate personally lol

ty for askin, i understand your thoughts. from what i've seen so far, blitzo's the one that seems the most clean/consistent. but i still found inconsistencies that bothered me when i looked closer.

disclaimers; --this will be an analysis of the character model's consistency, not their general design. --model sheets can feature intentional stylization for a character whether or not it makes real-world sense, so something that feels like an inconsistency to me might not to someone else. i certainly wouldn't give two shits if someone disagreed with how i stylized something unless i felt they had a good point. --obv we can't know for sure but we can assume the animators have gotten along ok enough with what they've been given, and/or they might have better more exact guides by now on the production, as the turnaround i'm analyzing is from around 2019.

at the end of the day this is just for fun. if you agree with some things i say here, awesome, but please don't treat my opinions as facts. all that said, this is my personal analysis.

onto the head...

another disclaimer is that i understand squash & stretch is a thing, personally i feel if you are going to show how a character's face squashes and stretches it should be on a separate sheet like for expressions because putting it on a turnaround makes it look as if the face looks vastly different at different angles, it creates confusion. onto the torso area...

onto the coat...

onto the tail... (mainly issues with inconsistent markings)

one of my biggest issues with having detailed designs like this for hand-drawn animation is if you do not organize them well then you/your team will have difficulty drawing them consistently. i would expect to see inconsistencies like these between scenes or between differing animators bc that is just something that happens... but for them to be on *the* turnaround is frustrating to me bc imo a turnaround should act as your baseline so your team can draw your character as consistently as possible. but if you're handing them an inconsistent turnaround you're more likely to wind up with even more, possibly worse, errors/inconsistencies. if that's something you don't mind in your animations, more power to you. and with that i'll close this analysis off on some inconsistencies that i felt were more personal grievances.

and that's that! this, again, is my personal critique of an image from 2019 that i'm doing bc it's like a fun study for me. it is not meant to be an attack. ty for giving me this suggestion anon.

On the topic of obey me the concept of obey me nightbringer drives me Insane because it could Feasibly be a standalone or even like. A possible remake/improved version of the original game but they just make the same mistakes as the first game!! Plus the entire plot depends on the player already knowing and having an attachment to the characters (developers assuming the player played the original game) despite the implication it Could be a standalone from the beginning (saying you don't recognize the characters in the very first chat you get).

Also Unrelated to the plot I think ruri tunes is a hella improved minigame thats fun to play but also playing the same like. 10 songs over and over for eternity is annoying as hell and part of the reason i had to drop the game was because I couldn't take it

oh god nightbringer T-T obey me is such a popular game and there was such a fan-craving for darker themes/a more horror-centric approach that i really think they could've gotten away with releasing, like,,, the exact same game with a more mature tone + a more focused storyline. i never actually figured out what the game was about since i sorta dipped as soon as people started saying it fell into a lot of the same issues as obey me (to save myself the heart ache), but i think the idea of a dating sim that comes with the implication that, later on in the time line, the pc is either dead and gone or so irrelevant that none of the characters would so much as mention them is kinda inherently flawed. just from the onset honestly.

and another thing twisted wonderland does well!!! twst's rhythm game sections aren't exactly the highlight of my week, but at least they try to change up the music + make sure you only have to do them, like, fifteen times max. unless your willing to produce new music constantly, you can't really afford to make a music-based mini-game a core function of your dating sim </3

A/N: I may or may not have signed myself up for a sa support group at my college, which is scary and terrifying and I still don't feel like I belong, but I'm sorta proud ☺️ I go in for a screening because there's only one spave left, but hopefully it goes well? It made me think of Roman and all his issues. It just feels good to write again. Please don't feel alone if you've gone through or are going through this kind of thing. I'm always here to talk 💕✨️🌈

Succession Masterlist

You don't have to jiggle it or press upwards. You don't have to fidget or shake or try a second time. It doesn't rattle and the door doesn't fight back. The key fits perfectly. Inside the apartment is warm despite the space. Warm and quiet and dark. You take it in like you always do. The tv on the wall, reflective and massive. The floor to ceiling windows that make the city lights look like stars. Below you can hear the murmur of traffic, cooing like a baby fast asleep. The kitchen is sleek and goes unused if you're not here. The bathroom door is open, only for guests. You drop your coat, your keys and wallet and shoes. You let everything fall down the edge of the couch. There are no indentations. There is no pilling of the fabric. It is not worn the way yours is. This place is sacred. This place is holy. This place is your second home. A golden strip of light throws itself from the doorway down the hall. You don't need this invitation, but it's nice anyways. You follow.

It wasn't a bad date. It wasn't a good date, either. Third or fourth, you weren't sure what counted as one and what didn't. Still, they came with expectations. You blamed yourself, later on. You told yourself you lead them on. You gave them an idea, a want, a false narrative. You invited them over. The door stuck. The couch was frayed. The whole place was small enough all your furniture touched one way or another. Together, all of you. You and them and your things, your sanctuary. You wanted to watch a movie, order takeout. Thats what you did. They grew close to you, wrapped their arm around you. You offered a few blankets. The heater was always unreliable. You laughed. You joked. It was good. You thought things were going good. The story was coming to the end, the resolution, and it should have clicked. You should have told them, explained to them, but you weren't worried about that. It didn't cross your mind like it did everyone else's.

The bedroom is the most lived in. His button down shirt flung on the floor. You step over it. His shoes, his pants, all of it leads from one door to another. His bathroom. The door is shut, but you can hear him humming to himself beneath the running water. He never makes his bed. Says it's better to crawl back in just like the night before. It smells like him. This whole place does. His cologne, his soaps, everything trapped between the linen. You go to your drawer, the last one in the dresser, and pull out a pair of pajama pants and a big t-shirt. You don't fear the door will swing open. You don't worry someone's watching. He's not. You change without a second though, for a brief moment as naked as you'd ever be in his bedroom. You leave your clothes in a neat pile.

It wasn't a third or fourth date kind of talk. It wasn't any kind of talk. You didn't say it unless you had to, and even then you were reluctant. It wasn't fair to compare your story to others, people who had it so much worse. It wasn't right to use that terminology. It wasn't fair to real victims. So you danced around the subject. You made excuses. And when it was time, because it always was, you'd end it. You believed you couldn't ask someone to live without. . . to deprive them of something so natural, so human. It wouldn’t be right or fair. That was asking too much. Even when you really liked them. Even when you really found yourself falling for them, there was always that roadblock. This thing you still can't get over, you might never get over. Please, you'd beg, don't make me say it. You wished they'd just get it without the questions, the accusations, the hypotheticals.

You take your place in the bed, climbing through the pillows and covers. He notices, though he doesn't say anything. Instead, still humming, he turns out the lights. He throws himself into the mattress, half landing on you, making you laugh. Didn't see you there, he smiles. Of course he did. He always does. For a while you're both quiet, staring up at the ceiling, until he moves to his side. You follow, facing one another. Bad date? He asks, his voice small in the black of night. Like you're at a sleepover, afraid of getting caught by the adults if you talk too loud. You nod, your head rubbing against the pillow. Fuck em, he says. Isn't that the problem?

Beneath the blankets their hand slides down your thigh, between. . . You want to jump. You want to grab their wrist hard enough to break it. Instead you smile, standing up, saying something about popcorn. When you come back with a full bowl the credits are rolling. They don't want to watch another. They lean in, filling the gap, kissing you hard. Needy. You do what you think you should, what's right: you kiss them back. But then they're leaning further and their hands find your shirt and you can feel your heart speed up. It feels like it'll crack through your ribcage. Um, you try, I don't- I can't- I think I should probably get to bed. It's late. They look confused, before they assume. I'll join you, eagerly they say. No, I didn't- fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I think you should leave, you blurt out.AIt's the only way to make them stop. Angry. They always leave angry and hurt and frustrated. You really did like them. You really wanted to see them again. They slammed the door and that was enough of a tell to delete their number.

It's my fault, you hear yourself before you realize what you're doing. If only. . . But you let it drop before it becomes something he feels like he has to refute. He doesn't respond. The conversation always goes like this. A date. A rejection. You find yourself coming back to him. Of course you love him. Of course he loves you. But it's just not something either of you can have, not like that. So you date. You try to, at least. You try to find someone who can live without. And in the meantime, you have him to fall asleep next to. In rare moments, moments when you let yourself cry and relive all those terrible memories, moments where your date doesn't listen to the word no, he might hold you. Tight. Like he doesn't know how to do it properly. You're not sure what kind of night it'll be. You're so close you can see the sleepiness in his eyes. Thanks for letting me spend the night. Did I have a fucking choice? You roll your eyes, punching him somewhere close to the arm.

They were angry. They always were. And confused. Confused why you didn't want them. Why didn't you want to go further? Why couldn't you? What was wrong with you? But Rome understood. He got it. You two, it was the same. Different, but the same. So he holds you when you need it, even if he's unsure how, and never questions why you come back. You always come back. Because even when your dates go well, they will inevitably end.

Tell me more about your feelings on Hazbin Hotel.

Part of me doesn’t want to answer this question, because of how popular this show is on Tumblr.

And I know that people will be like.

“What do you know, you’re a Christian, of Course you’d have some problems with it.”

Yes, I am going to disclose that. I am a Christian. Not ashamed of that. Still working to be a better one. But I can be objective enough to view it as a writer, and that at most my personal bias will only be a slight enhancement of my view.

And these are my unfiltered thoughts on this show.

But for my opinion of Hazbin hotel. The original Pilot was interesting. A place trying to reform sinners in the last place people would think to be reformed. (Spoilers ahead)

That pilot premise is interesting. You see Hell as a cesspool of the absolute worse people. (Like Los Angeles but with more cannibalism) and it takes the “Hell is other people approach”

The songs were fine, the animation was great, and the characters introduced were intriguing. So much potential depth to them, theories can speculate. And of course the big question of. “Can someone in hell actually be redeemed?” And we even have a character pointing out “of course not, they’re in hell. Their chance was before this?”

It raised this question of, if you know your doomed, why try to be a good person? And That is fascinating.

Then the show finally airs. And it’s just another “Heaven is corrupt” storyline. And it’s not even done well.

(The whole retelling of creation made my eyes roll. Trying to make Lucifer to be the good guy? How original (sarcasm). And not even done well. Because it’s Charlie narrating this, which makes it be like Charlie knows all this and is doing all of this pointlessly)

Hells gonna rise up against it and all that. The hotel was basically pointless.

The show goes on to constantly contradict itself at numerous points that leaves me more confused.

Yes there is an interesting character (Alastor) but outside of a great soundtrack and animation… the writing of the show is a mess.

It feels both rushed and too slow. The characters are speedrunning their arcs, yet the plot is crawling.

Let’s then not forget the fact that Angel power and weapons are said to be the only thing that Perma kills sinners and angels. Yet sir pretentious dies and instead of permadead, goes to heaven? What fucking logic is that?

Also it says how only Angel weapons and powers can hurt angels (they make a whole point about it) only to show Vaggie and Lute have a whole ass fight hurting eachother with tables and s***. Unless they’ve been blessed them chairs…

Also where do the souls that perma die go? Detroit? Because if Sir pretentious can go to heaven after dying, what the deal with all this? Is Hell actually hell? Seems more like purgatory.

And then you include the helluva boss lore as they take place in the same universe. And MORE questions get added.

But that’s a can of worms for another time.

More importantly, Charlie, the main character hardly gets any development moments. Her issues are TOLD not showed.

Vaggie is also a mess too, like her whole thing is protecting Charlie, and helping her. But then she gets told that she has to fight For Love and that’s how to win? You mean what she’s BEEN DOING THE WHOLE TIME?!

All the stuff with Angel Dust, the writing for that is fine when showing the messed up situation he’s in, but then after the Song “Loser, Baby” he’s suddenly months sober? Speedrunning a bit too much.

Side note: HOW DOES HEAVEN NOT KNOW HOW PEOPLE GET INTO HEAVEN?!

Like they genuinely seem like they don’t know? From my understanding, there is no Big Man making all the calls. Thats not corruption. Thats incompetence.

So if it’s just angels in charge, THEY should know. Like show that they’re tilting the scale or maybe denying certain people that DO follow the criteria. Because with the incompetency of it, it basically leaves the door open for potentially EVERYONE to get into heaven.

Yet then the show shows how awful people in hell are, like it’s clear there are people that deserve hell. Maybe I’m overthinking it, maybe I’m not thinking about it enough. But it’s a really dumb system.

But the biggest glaring hole in this show is the fact that there is no point for heaven to actually do the purge in the first place.

Hell being overpopulated shouldn’t matter. Only Angel power and weapons can actually hurt angels. Why would they worry about an uprising. Heaven could easily wipe hell. The only people that could probably do damage is Lucifer and the leaders of the rings of hell. And even then… That’s like 7 against ALL OF HEAVEN!? Even if we assume overlords and some high level demons could do similar… Heaven still takes it. (But then again the Lute and Vaggie fight might contradict that. Hard to say it’s so confusing)

That all aside, is it an awful show? No. It’s just so riddled with plotholes and pacing issues.

Would I recommend this show to people? No.

Would I recommend the sound track? Probably, the songs are catchy. Can’t deny that.

Everyone has their own opinions and tastes, but the show has too much of a mess for me.

Since all of them meet through Sole, we're just going to keep that funky guy around...maybe they go moon over Edward Deegan, like a civilized person of taste and class

Cait; i could see her ending up with anyone, but I can't see her ending up happy with most of them. Honestly, I think her best bet would be Piper, maybe Preston. Preston, she'd have to have a lot of character development for...shake off some of her more raider-y traits. As for Piper, that's more her speed, and I think Cait would do well, having Nat around, getting to be Auntie Cait. Piper is more of a troublemaker and spitfire, and I think Cait could easily get bored with Preston. Happy, yes, but Cait gets a little stir crazy, not getting into trouble.

Curie; I fucking love Mac x Curie, I'll admit...but I'm not sure she'd, in text, care much for him. I also really like Curie x Danse, both are very cute to me. I think I like Danse x Curie more, as they're both scientifically minded, care very much about history and preservation of it, and big scary man who loves his small and sweet wife who's actually the weird, unsettling one is top tier.

Danse; Again, I can see him with Curie...and again, Preston as well. I've said before that Danse is very adaptable, romantically, so really, you could make a case for any of the other companions?? Some would absolutely be harder than others, and Gage is an outright fuck no, period. Gage is a fuck no for literally everyone here, spoilers. But Danse...as long as you've got some morals, and will be nice to him, you've got a chance. Low bar? Yeah. Yeah it is.

Deacon; Deacon can't even be romanced by fucking Sole. Bitch needs a crowbar to open up. But...if you have a taste for romantic black comedies...X6 x Deacon is fucking hilarious. Is it possible? No. Not even an inch. But that's not the point. The point is I like it and it's funny. As for what Deacon could actually land? Uh...no one? He's a known liar, he's closed off as shit, and he's prone to identity theft. I think the only one that stands a chance is Nick, but would Nick put up with it enough to fall in love?? Idfk.

Gage; No one. Not even X6. I've seen people say Cait, and I have to ask, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? CAIT WAS A SLAVE. GAGE IS A SLAVER. I LOVE HIM TO BITS BUT HE VERY MUCH IS A SLAVER THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

Hancock; I kinda like MacCock but Valencock is also pretty good...honestly, Hancock has never struck me as a...romance kinda guy? Like, I get why he's romancable, but...I always felt like he'd be better with a bunch of casual romantic relationships, rather than one super serious one. But, I can see Hancock getting with Nick, Mac, and for a very fun wildcard, that I love for being a shitshow, Danse. Yes. Yes I just supported DanseCock. Its FUNNY AND QUESTIONABLE. OF COURSE I LIKE IT.

MacCready; So, Curie and Hancock I've already said, but if I didn't think Piper was a lesbian, I'd say her. What? They both got kids, both like candy, both have similar values and methods of getting around...but they'd butt heads a lot. A very bickery couple. But MacCock is also cute, though I think they'd have a lot of Very Real Issues. Curie, less so, because Curie is better at communication and doesn't do things Mac is Very Not Okay With. Though, he'd have some shit to stop doing for both MacCurie and MacCock, ei, stealing and murder, etc.

Nick; VALONGFELLOW SQUAD LETS GOOOO. But honestly, no one. Maybe Codsworth. I say Hancock, but pretty unlikely. Nick is a Confirmed Bachelor, man. Thats just how the cookie crumbles. UNLESS YOU GET ANOTHER OLD MYSTERIOUS DEAD WIFE MAN LETS GOOOO

Piper; If not Cait, Ellie, maybe? I always struggle to look at Piper beyond my Very Famous Issues With Her. It's just, Piper is lesbain to me. There are Two Other Girls. Curie is an...okay option? I think Piper would seriously butt heads with Curie in a relationship, though I can't put my finger on why exactly...on the other hand, Piper has genuine chemistry with Cait. Honestly, I don't put much stocks into canon x canon ships, anymore, I prefer the found family thing. Piper really showed that for me, thinking about this, because I don't really go crazy for her with anyone? It doesn't help she's got one option.

Preston; I've said he had a hoe phase and boy howdy, could Preston pull any of these bitches if he put his mind to it. But who would he want to pull? Not Curie, too naive and optimistic. Not MacCready, used to be a Gunner and acts like it. Cait, he wouldn't like her that way, as we know her. Again, personal growth needed there. Gonna have to say Danse as a flat, completely possible possibility. For a non-companion, Sturges. Obvi.

X6-88; I liked Curie x X6 for a time until DeacX6 revealed itself to me in a fever. But neither of these are based in reality. So, much like Gage, no one. Maybe they can hang out as bachelors and make fun of people together, idk. Bromance.

I don't like how some writers bash or exaggerate the other batkids' behaviour and personalities in order to whumpify their favorite batfam member.

If Dick Grayson is the main character in the fic, then every other batfam member are suddenly incapable of doing the most simplest tasks and ask Dick to help them. He solves every single problem of his family because he is the 'eldest'. And he always puts a smile on his face and let's them treat him like shit.

Yes, it is true that Dick has more responsibility compared to his siblings. Not because he is the eldest; but because he has to keep an entire city safe all by himself, mentor teen sidekicks, lead the Titans, go on missions with the JL and so on. And he does this not because he has to, but because he wants to.

Also he may be more emotionally open than rest of his siblings, but thats just it. Compared to his siblings. Nightwing says puns and jokes yeah, but he is not at all can be classified as emotionally vulnurable. Dick led and mentored so many teams, and you can't do that while being light hearted and smiley all the time.

Dick is serious and firm when needed to. He doesn't baby any of his siblings (especially Damian), or act like an angel all the time. He has anger management issues and does not take bullshit from anyone. Not even his family.

He lives in Bludhaven to get away from the craziness that is Gotham. He loves his family, but he simply does not have the patience to deal with them all the time.

When the fic is about Jason, most of the plot is about him being dead and how Bruce betrayed him by replacing him. That Dick threw him in Arkham and everyone treats him like a monster.

Well firstly, Jason is not all about his death. He doesn't really bring it up unless he wants to make a point to Bruce.

Jason doesn't hate Tim because he replaced him. Jason hates Bruce, for taking in another Robin when the first one actively get murdered because of it. He beat Tim up to prove to him and Bruce that taking in a child, and making him his partner is seriously wrong. Jason hates the idea of kids becoming soldiers for a war they didn't start.

Another point is that after Jason came back from the dead, he wasn't an anti-hero. He was a full on villain that tried to kill most of the Batfamily. And no I'm not talking about him beating Tim up in the Titans tower (It was to send a message to Bruce) or cutting his throat (which he didn't. It was a small scratch):

I'm talking about Battle for the Cowl, when he beat Tim up badly because he refused to be his Robin. Jason thought Tim was dead at the end of their fight (Tim slowed down his heartbeat). And this is his reaction:

And yet again in Battle for the Cowl, he shot Damian. Which resulted him getting more than 70 stitches:

Also this was his reaction when a nuclear powered supervillain blew up Bludhaven:

He poisoned 82 inmates while 'Dick sent poor Jason into prison :('

Now does this mean Jason is a bad character? Fuck no! Infact he is one of my favorite characters. Jason is such an interesting character and sometimes you can't help but condone his mistakes no matter how bad they are. Even I do this.

So what I mean is that, we should stop babying him and see him as the flawed character he is. Every single character has their own flaws and that's what makes them special.

Jason was a hero, then a villain, then an anti-hero, then again a hero.

Also he doesn't get pit episodes. The only time he got one was right after getting out of the pit. Lazarus pit did not made him violent and it's not the blame for Jason's past actions. Jason was awake and aware of the things he did. And he feels guilty. But he learned to forgive. Both himself and Bruce.

Our next member is Tim Drake. Fanon Tim Drake is a coffee addict, he is thin and small, is quiet and doesn't believe he is apart of the family. Dick stole Robin from him and gave it to 'evil and cruel' Damian who bullies him every time they interact. Jason always calls him replacement and threatens to kill him most of the time. Dick is a monster that tried to lock him up in Arkham.

God I cringed writing this. Anyways firstly Tim is, in fact, not a coffee addict. I'd say he is more of a tea person and only drinks coffee to stay awake.

Tim is not short and all skin and bones. He eats properly and is very muscled. Especially around his back and biceps. He is also not short either.

Tim is quiet, yes. But not in a shy way. He is cold and calculative and sometimes a little apathatic. He isn't scared to do what's necessary and is always ready to sacrifice himself for the sake of the mission. He also definitely sees himself apart of the family.

Another really misunderstood point is that Dick took Robin from him, when it was actually Alfred who gave Damian the Robin suit.

Yes, Damian tried to kill him multiple times and it was very traumatising for Tim. But they do get along most of the time. In fact Tim may be the second closest to Damian among the family. Because no matter what happens he loves his little brother. As it was shown when he hallucinated and hugged Damian after he died.

Jason and him may be at odds from time to time, but Jason gets along with him more than most of his siblings.

And Dick most certainly did not try to put him in Arkham. Bruce was dead and Dick saw Tim. How devastated he was, so he offered him to get therapy. Like a good brother would do.

Last but not least is Damian. I think most of the time Damian centric fics manage to represent him properly. But let's start with the ones that are the most cliche-d and wrongly written.

Damian talks the Queen's British and is spoiled. Dick Grayson is his actual father and Bruce always insults him. He trains all day and goes to patrol at night. He hates his mother, always gets his ass handed to him in a fight. Tim Drake treats him horribly and everyone calls him Demon or Demon Brat. Jason is the best brother in the world and him and Dick always protect him from Bruce's wrath. Alfred annoyes him and Damian doesn't really care about him. All of his personality is summed up with: "Yes, Father."

In actuality, Damian is most of the time sassy or straight up mocking. He uses slangs and isn't scared of disrespecting Ra's or Talia and Bruce (in fact he may be enjoying it a little).

Dick Grayson is in fact not his father figure. That title belongs to Alfred, who was always there whenever he needed him.

Damian plays video games and his favorite one is cheese vikings.

He also loves his mother and forgives her even through all does horrible things she does to him. He is most likely conditioned to feel that way. Because it's not normal to treat someone normally after they murder you. He is also an exceptionally good fighter.

Tim Drake is possibly his second closest sibling. They banter and fight sometimes, yes. But they still very much care for each other. When Tim was thought to be dead, Damian was shown to be holding his bo staff and mourning.

Him and Jason were never close. Jason tried to kill him and so did Damian. They don't know each other well and Damian does not want to; since at the time he was Robin, Jason was a villain that actively tried to hurt him and Dick.

I don't think anyone ever called him a Demon Brat. Or if they did it was probably like one time, since I couldn't find any panels that refer to him that way.

Damian is the most rebellious and hot headed Robin. He doesn't shy from saying what wants or stepping up to Bruce. In fact those two are the ones who fight the most in the family. Even more than Tim and Damian.

And Bruce doesn't always insult or bench him. He just straight up ignores him or his needs and always puts him in second.

There are obviously way more than these, but I'll stop for today. No hate to the creators, this is just my own opinion.

so sorry for talking about tacomic discourse even though theres already been a morbillion asks about it and the topic died like a week ago.

my take: as long as you arent glorifying toxicity or presenting a toxic relationship as being good and desirable there is literally no issue?

people act like you can’t write character personalities or plots differently than what’s canonically presented and thats CRAZY. people do it ALL THE TIME with everything else, have you SEEN how many AUs exist??? why is it a problem with tacomic?

like the whole point of writing ship dynamics and making fanart and fanfic is that the characters will literally never act this way in canon (cause object shows rarely have canon ships). as long as you arent shipping illegal stuff theres literally no problem.

and honestly i think i have to have this outlook on it as a floorphone shipper(SORRY FOR BRINGING UP FLOORPHONE AGAIN BUT I SWEAR ITS RELEVANT), otherwise i’d be a hypocrite. basically yada yada mephone wanted sooo badly to get rid of floory in ep 12 but then they end up becoming cohosts, and like their dynamic does a whole 180 canonically because of this. That just proves, yeah, its possible for two characters to be written in a way where their dynamic starts as 🔥enemies🔥 and then they becomes friends or lovers, even. guys the enemies to lovers trope is soo overused but its also soo epic.

but yeah people who act like its impossible to ship something unless the characters were best friends from the very start or never did any harm to one another are actually bonkers. like are we forgetting the fantube divorce? i dunno man the way test tube was acting toward fan was prettyyy toxic. what about sodapack? canonically they’re pretty awful for each other but a large majority of the fanbase continues to ship them (myself included lmao). even fireafy has toxic traits and thats one of the most popular bfdi ships. personally i think a ship is better and more believable when there ARE disagreements or occassional bad things that happen. that doesn’t necessarily make a relationship unhealthy, every relationship will have the occassional ups and downs. thats just how it is. and to act like everything HAS to be perfect or else it’s unhealthy is just. ugh. that makes it seem like no one should ever ship anything ever again.

i know people are gonna be like ‘but taco was only ever manipulative toward mic!!!’ and yeah i agree, but you’re forgetting my earlier point. you can write things differently lmao.

the amount of fanfiction I have written that COMPLETELY IGNORES canon is nuts. guys it’s no fun to have to follow canon to a t, go crazy be silly write the funny fanfic where literally everyone is ooc and the plot makes no sense, i love stuff like that.

anyways this is coming from someone who doesn’t ship tacomic, so it’s truly an unbiased news source.

usually zooble doesnt care or bother with things, but that changed with gangle. so obviously, with gangle now gone, they're back to where they once were. except, things are different

"its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all", or so how the saying goes, but is that true? wouldnt zooble feel better if they never got close to gangle? afterall, when they refused to get close to people and they inevitably were gone for one reason or another, it didn't hurt. so obviously, thats what the issue was

its a whole thing of emotions.. sadness, hurt, anger. a lot of the anger being aimed to themselves for the reasoning above. i mean the only reason they've lasted so long in the circus was because they just didnt care about anything

zooble becomes even colder and more snarky to others, choosing more often than not to not interact with anyone unless they truly have to

often finds themselves thinking about gangle, or getting something with the intention of gifting it to her, only to remember that... oh yeah, she'd never receive it

may or may not become bitter at the sight of others happiness, i can see them being either or on this honestly

i wish i had more but im still in shock at this information like i legitimately felt my heart DROP reading the first sentence of this ask + i need more info because like, im just so confused TToTT

I'm here with the first of Natalies two alphabets, starting with her SFW alphabet! honestly, Nat is a hard one for me to capture because I don't want her to sound like she's a bad partner, but the reality is that she probably wouldn't be a great one. Thats about all I have to say though so as always, feel free to leave questions or comments in my comments or ask box, and happy reading!❤️

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Natalie isn’t naturally all that affectionate these days. Well, not exactly at first glance. It’s something that would take her some time to get into. She’d not be one for small talk or offering you surprise gifts. However, her love language is quality time. She’d prefer sitting quietly in the same room as you or having a lowkey night out for dinner rather than anything too extravagant. She’s also a physical touch enjoyer, though she keeps it minimal. She’ll offer small touches now and then, like a trailing of her fingertips over your hip as she moves past you or a soft peck to your scalp when she isn’t thinking about it.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Natalie isn’t going to initiate a friendship. She’s more likely to get involved with people out of convenience than anything else. Say you frequent the same bar as her often enough, then maybe a relationship would form from there as you slowly learn new tidbits about one another with each drink.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

She isn’t all that into it, but if you like it she won't argue. She just might not wrap herself around you like you would with her. The farthest she goes is an arm over your shoulders or an arm wound around your back. She’s not very touchy-feely after all, but when she does let herself care for you she’ll become more lenient over time.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Oh, hell no. Natalie is not the domestic type, try as she might. She doesn’t like consistency in her life ans she needs things to be different and moving. A sedentary life is out of the question for her, and the worst part of that is it’s not her fault. No matter how hard she could try, a domestic life would eventually bore her.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

She’d be very upfront and blunt about it. She’d not into relationships in the first place and never really has been, so while a breakup is going to be awkward and uncomfortable, I don't see her having an issue with the actual act of breaking up. However, if she's in a situation like her and Travis, it’s going to be so rough and might send her spiraling, which is honestly when she fights so hard against making those kinds of bonds.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

This girl is not committing. Like before, she doesn’t want to make those kinds of strong bonds with people out of fear of ultimately hurting or pushing them away, so marriage is out of the question unless she has a complete 180 that I'm not expecting and seeks out a lot of therapy to get over her trust and commitment issues.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Emotionally, she's hard and blunt. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything and tells it how it is. But surprisingly, she does have quite a gentle yet hesitant hand. It’s likely due to what she’s done with those same hands in her past, but it goes to show that she still has a softness within her. She doesn’t want to hurt people. It’s just kind of easy for her.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

She aint a hugger. Her hugs are stiff and awkward and there is no way for her to relax. But she’ll endure it if she cares.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

If she had it her way, she wouldn’t. But if she does feel so inclined, it'll take a long time. And I mean a long time, mostly because she doesn’t know if she means it. She likely wouldn’t say it till you have more times over, because she needs the assurance that she’s reading the situation correctly.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

If she’s attached she gets jealous. She doesn’t like sharing. But if what youve got going on is strictly casual, she couldn’t give a shit. She’s probably doing things with other people too. However, if by some strange majesty she does feel some claim over you oh how the jealousy would burn. She’d become brash and mildly aggressive with whoever thought it was a good idea to come on to you and would pull you away, likely to a corner of some kind to make sure you were both on the same page when it comes to your relationship.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

I can only describe her kisses as firm, but let me explain. Natalia has never been the soft type. She takes what she wants and puts her foot down without hesitation, and some of that is reflected in her physicality, one being her kisses. She’s in control and makes sure her partner is aware of that, and what better way to do that than by demeaning her when you kiss her? Her kisses often devolve into gnashing teeth and puffy, red lips.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

She's not as bad as she could be, but she’ll never have any. Poor thing didn’t have anyone to raise her, so there is no way in hell that she feels she’s capable of raising a kid herself. However, that being said, she’s pretty good with kids. Well, older kids to be exact. She has no idea what to do with a baby. But once they’re old enough that she can teach them the reality of the world and how to properly swear she becomes the awesome, fun aunt that takes you out for joyrides and ice cream when mom/dad said not to have sweets before dinner.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Natalie doesn’t get up at least till noon and that's on a good day. The only exceptions are for fresh coffee, breakfast, or morning sex. Other than that, she’d stayed splayed out under the covers for as long as she can. This often results in a headache from sleeping too much, but that’s nothing a little advil can't fix after all. It’s nearly impossible to get her up early, and if you do she won't be happy about it, so don't bank on her joining in on brunch plans.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Natalie would stay out all night if she could. She loves the nightlife and all the little things that come with it, like meeting new people once who will become shadows in her mind, the drinking, and the loud music found in clubs. She’d love to take you out, and honestly, it's far more fun going out when she’d got arm candy to strut around and show off

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

She keeps practically everything close to her chest. Learning anything about Natalie is like pulling teeth. She’d remain a complete mystery to you if that was possible. Often a new fact about her is either dropped out of nowhere by her or someone else reveals something which requires a more lengthy and irritated explanation from Natalie herself. You're more likely to learn about her by talking to her friends, and even then its a challenge

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

This woman’s fuse is shorter than a stick of dynamite. She blows up at the smallest inconvenience, and often that gets projected onto those close to her, both physically and emotionally.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they forget everything?)

Girlfriend isn’t the best with her memory, however, now and then she surprises you with some tiny tidbit that you likely didn't even mention remembering. That's what she thinks about, the small stuff.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

I think a fond memory she’d hold onto is watching you dance. Seeing that pure joy on your face, laughing with a drink in hand as you move with whatever music might be playing. It would be an even fonder memory if you convinced her to dance with you

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

She plays coy like she doesn't care, your actions are your own. But best be ready for if she's ever around when someone treating you in any way she may deem as wrong. She has a very serious justice complex and is not afraid to cut a bitch or throw hands when she needs to. And that is extremely sexy of her if you ask me,

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?)

Probably not a lot because she's not really into those kinds of things. She seems like the type to settle into a comfortable routine ans stick to it. If there's a restaurant you both like, that’s where you nearly always go when you feel like having a dinner out. She gets kinda weird about trying new things sometimes, but if you’re gentle enough she’ll do her best. That's where her efforts go in trying to be more flexible for those she cares for.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

She cant communicate for shit and she’s notorious for the disappearing act, which is when she doesn't text or call for some time. It could be because she doesn't feel like it, you got into an argument, she's feeling out of it. Anything that could set her off will hinder her ability to communicate how she feels and what she needs, and it's frustrating for her. She doesn't like feeling or needing

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

She’s not vane in any regard. She's stuck with most of her teenage style, which is probably a comfort thing at this point to avoid further change. She's the type to wear the same outfit more than twice in a row and that's valid

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

I think that depends. Recently (in the last few episodes of season 2) we've seen a shift in her. I think over time there might be a chance of her growing to the point where she’s ok being a little dependent on someone else, but if we’re looking at Natalie at the start of the series id have to say no. at that point, she didn't want to hold on to that kind of relationship or bond with someone else. But now I think there could be a possibility for her. Again that’s after girlfriend has a lot of therapy.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

She has chronic nightmares of her partner dying, specifically from overdose even if her partner doesn’t use whatsoever

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like in general or in a partner?)

I think she’d be against someone hellbent on trying to change her. Yes, there is room in her character for growth, but sometimes people look at that room and see it as a challenge. Natalie should be in complete control of her growth and development for betterment. But to do that she needs both hands on the wheel and maybe a partner in the passenger seat reading over the map. Control of her person is a huge thing for her. She can't have someone trying to take that over from her, even if it's with completely positive intentions

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Natalie seems like the type to be very reserved and to herself in her sleep. She doesn’t like touching and will often roll over and face away at night. I also think that she runs hot, so it's common for covers to be thrown off of her at night and I doubt she wears a lot of clothing when she’s going to sleep except for when she comes home after a long night out. We've seen it before, she's willing to sleep in jeans if she’s tired enough

Whee side order

My thoughts on it! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!! Youve been warned.

So, here are my honest thoughts. Let me just start by warning further that this is mostly negative.

Took me about two hours and one attempt to beat all 30 floors. Was pretty fun. I used splattershot though because i suck at dualies.

But... it felt very quick. Felt like there was a whole lotta nothing plotwise, too. It was fun, but the plot is pretty weak. Its just another rogue-ai-tries-to-assimilate-everyone plot. Which has already been done. For some reason they keep trying to do octo expansion but again and they keep failing to do that.

Taking everything into consideration, acht really had no reason to be there. You could remove acht entirely and have the same results. And im not just saying that because i dont like dedf1sh. They dont add anything to anything.

I havent unlocked all marinas dev notes but so far theres been her motive of saving the sanitized octarians which......... i have my own personal issues with that. They seem to not be able to decide how they want sanitization to work.

Doing the pallets, i assumed they would give you some memory thing related to the associated character, but you just get a stupid little comment from the post-final boss that doesnt really add anything to the plot or the characters. Also murch is on luna blaster for some reason. I was speculating a lot on who luna blaster and octobrush could be assigned to, but seems like theyre just doing anyone. Murch is very irrelevant to everything as a whole so its kinda just like whatever.

That being said, i feel extremely bad for agent 4 fans. Those humanoid red eyed things with one of them looking like 4 and then them not doing anything with that at all was a huge fake out.

From what i saw, a lot of people were theorizing and expecting things based on all the evidence we got that we never did end up getting because they went an entirely different route. No agent 4 being possessed or whatever (unless thats still true and just unlocked much later, which im hoping because it would make everything a lot more interesting), no implied body swapping, no copybots.

And most of all, nothing from the first trailer we got. With all the concept art. I know it was just CONCEPT art for a reason, but surely you cant just show off all these things and then have the final result be absolutely nothing like it? Then again, splatoon 3 has had more than enough false advertising already, so i guess it was wrong to expect things to be as shown. I just really really liked the giant hostile architecture black spikes picture. And theres none of that at all.

Basically, everything that was expected was significantly cooler than what we got, and to be completely honest, i dont think it was worth splatoon 3 being in really bad shape for such a long time. I dont think it really justified the amount of dumb things that happened over the past few seasons.

I do still think its fun, and i absolutely am going to try to collect everything, but it was significantly less interesting overall than i anticipated.

I do think the final boss attacks syncing with the rhythm was cool. But other than that the level design is extremely repetitive and there really is no variation. Im only enjoying it now because ive used weapons that i like/dont mind using, but once i have to start using weapons im bad at i just know itll be insufferable.

Overall, i am unfortunately disappointed but i still have hope that maybe there is something more, because surely that couldnt have been it.

Also just because it doesnt go along with any of my oc stories at all and i am absolutely not changing anything on my end because frankly im sick of doing that
