Few days after I left the casino and Atlantic city NJ sad I have lost faith with all the system for 2and a half years I didn't even came close to gambling untill February 7 when I decided to give it one more shot. After all the expel came after my re then a week without room and sleep although I'm making room reservation but each time one of the front desk manager was to give the poison pill if raised the room rate to $70 a night and the deposit $140. I found myself for so many days with the same clothes can't sleep, untill I let myself AT 3:30 am ( not on rash time) to refresh myself at the rephrasing room only shirt out no one was there, i took peper then wet it a little and refreshed my self when this yellow shirt horrible guy that hate his work so much but love the strange assiment to follow my steps untill i enter the toilet and he came right after saw me with wet paper go over my skin that didn't see shower for nearly a week long without any remorse to inhumane he took his phone a shoot few pictures to declare luring and I say is this the way the greatest hardrock that holds glorious past from Woodstock to Wembley hides a Dark shadow that roam the casino floor and monitors as the guest the jackpot and it's a fact that they seek for the same money each and every guest seek money as no defense in the eyes of the insiders it's even easier. for that next time I'll explain the shade inside and hidden?

Description: This blog is all about our journey when deciding on what start-up, product, or service to launch. Following that, I conducted interview surveys and planned with my team.

Startup Business Name: LIFE IN A FAST LAN PISO WIFI VENDO MACHINE

1. Define your Hypothesis

The survey's purpose is to validate the hypothesis for the proposed internet service of Piso Wi-fi Vendo Machine, which is an internet service that gives extra internet connection with those who cannot afford personal connections for a reasonable fee. The hypothesis is that the piso wi-fi vendo machine might potentially solve the sluggish internet issue by offering a dedicated and accessible connection solution, and that the majority of them have a good response or have been sold the notion of internet service, and that there is a significant potential target market.

2. How Hypothesis was tested and its result?

The hypothesis was investigated or validated by conducting an interview with ten respondents. The interview consisted of five sets of questions covering what they see, what they say, what they do, what they hear, and what they think and feel. Each component kind of question was made up of 20 distinct questions.

If the service can meet the demands and solve the issues of the respondents who were questioned, according to the survey's findings after the interview is complete, the researchers draw the conclusion that setting up a piso wi-fi vending machine is both possible and profitable. In order to increase service visibility, gratify customers, and give extra service and a strong internet connection, we advised adding freebies and extensions. The services should consider expanding in order to gain a devoted costumer.

In conclusion, the suggested service launch was able to solve the demands and difficulties of the majority of interviewees, and the majority of them responded positively to the concept of the proposed service. Furthermore, there is a potentially big target market.

3. What are your team’s options and decisions?

The group came up with a three (3) primary option in addressing the rejection/acceptance of the hypothesis:

1.) Lease Payments: 30% for the building or for the owner of the area and 70% for the entrepreneur. This will serve as the total income and how it was divided for the rents, connections and for the annual income of the entrepreneur.

2.) 2 or more free internet access for the owner of the building or area. This will benefit them because they are free to access the internet without paying any penny.

3.) Lower rates but higher internet connection. The prices vary on the time they consume. They can choose from P1 for 8 minutes, P5 for 40 minutes and P10 for 1 hour. The connection is good up to 200 meters with high connection about 200 Mbps (megabits per second).

4. What are the lessons learned by the team?

In order to generate a new company concept that is practicable and profitable, we have discovered that it is crucial to communicate our various thoughts to one another. And to maximize the advantages of collaboration, communicate as frequently as you can. Additionally, always include backup plans. We abstain to do so in our venture proposal, but fortunately it was accepted, so we learnt to always include a plan B in case things didn't work out.

Thread Stash 101

Hand-stitching through layers of fabric requires auditioning many different types of thread. I also paint many of my backgrounds with acrylic paint which requires me to pay close attention to the size of the hole my needle makes when stitching. My work is heavily hand-stitched so fibers that don’t fray, fuzz, or tangle are a must. I work across the surface of my work so I do not like using hoops that limit the stitching area to a small square or circle. Instead, I use felt as my inner layer to stabilize the fabric for hand-stitching without a hoop or frame. For extremely large pieces I do have a rug frame that allows me to scroll large sections for stitching at the time.

For variety, in material, finish, effect, and stitch size I use a large number of threads per piece. The above photo only includes some of the threads I selected for the background of this 6” x 8” piece I later stitched for the SAQA 2022 Spotlight Auction.

Photographing metallic threads can be a challenge but this photo gives you an idea of the range of threads combined in a piece of my work.

Welcome to my Thread Stash.

The most affordable option for some stitches is using traditional sewing threads such as Guttermann Viscose, Cotton, Polyester, or Silk thread. I use Guttermann, Sulky, Superior, and other brands for hand and machine stitching. I divide the threads by material in Ikea drawer organizers like the above one for Viscose.

Cheap embroidery threads like these from Simthread I get on Amazon to fill in random colors. These do unravel very easily off the top of the spool. I use Hugo’s Amazing Tape to keep these threads from turning into a bird’s nest.

Presencia’s cotton sewing thread’s color selection is one of my favorites for use with my hand-dyed fabric.

I especially like the look of small stitches in 100% silk. I use a variety of brands of silk thread similar to the Tire silk above.

For thicker threads, I use some DMC 8 or 12 cotton pearl. Presencia No 8 or 12 also works. Presencia No 16 is a little thicker than I generally prefer to hand-stitch with though I have a few still in my stash.

When I am hand-dyeing fabric with Procion Fiber Reactive Dyes I throw in the thread I have prewrapped on plastic thread organizers. I loosely wrap the thread. It does variegate depending on the resist of the layered wrapping on the dye accessing the fibers when bound. I like this variegation but if you do not, opt to loosely tie hanks of thread and dye flat in a pan instead of tossing in the bucket with fabric. I use cotton or silk thread in natural colors to add to my dye pot. I particularly like the silk thread from Aurora Silk in Oregon for dyeing.

A heavier weight fiber of 100% Tencel I like is dyed by Teresa Ruch. Her variegated skeins like the ones above offer an interesting range of color. I do need to try a better way of keeping these untangled once I begin using them though.

I prefer the 10/2 weight for hand-stitching. I love the look and feel of many yarns primarily used or knitting, weaving, or crochet but many do not work well for hand-stitching fabric. You can couch thicker yarns but I prefer to use the thinner yarns to stitch with instead of couch.

Habu Textiles offers fabulous different fibers for accents. They are more temperamental to work with though, so I only use them for small pops of color, texture, or interest.

I have a love/hate relationship with metallic threads. I have finally narrowed down my selection to metallics that do not make me scream in frustration. Giovanna Imperia Metal Gerbera or Verbenna were my favorite when they were still available online.

Kreinik Metallics are my favorite choice to find locally at needlepoint or embroidery stores. I prefer to see pick colors in person versus online whenever possible.

Kreinik Metallics are my primary metallics for hand-stitching. The metallic braids work for stitching my layers with very little fraying issues. I use #16 braid, Tapestry #12 braid, Fine #8 braid, and very fine #4 braid. #16 is a little thick for my preference so I only use it for added emphasis areas.

Soy Luster is a newer addition to my thread stash. I don’t like fuzzy threads but have found this Soy Luster appears fairly smooth when stitched through most of my layers.

Silken Pearl is one of the other miscellaneous brands I have tried and like though it is a bit more expensive so I only use their variegated options.

I sometimes try other new threads based on color. I generally only buy one or two colors before buying more. Treasure Braid metallics was my go-to until I switched to Kreinik Metallics. Sajou 100% cotton is a newer addition to my stash but I like it so far.

I often take a piece in progress with me to the store with a photo on my phone showing some of the threads I already plan to use. Otherwise, I find I often buy a lot of similar colors to ones I already have in my stash. This helps me expand my stash without too much overlap.

My final thought on thread for hand-stitching is that I am always looking at what brands are being used by artists I like. The lists of vendors, materials, tools, etc. in the back of books by author’s I like is always a great place to find more options. There are tons of different threads available but many are not meant for the friction of hand-stitching through fabric layers unfortunately.

I decided to simplify my life and divide them in two categories: Dog vibes and Cat vibes (wanted to do with other pets but not today).  

Dog vibes

Din: You saved him as a stray pup during a storm. He’s scared of humans but adapts after some time. Reserved. Loyal. Can be easily trained for any type of job. Reads people better than people can do it themselves. Patient with children. Doesn’t get along with other adult dogs but puppies are ok. Always naps and wants to sleep with you. Loves fast car rides. If you have a motorcycle, he will be your co-pilot all the time. Hates your roomba and might chew it to death so he needs gentle training here. Barks only in sight of danger which is evaluated from his perspective only. Washing machine is his nemesis and you can’t convince him otherwise. Tumble dryer can go fuck itself. Vacuum is on a thin fucking ice. 

Ezra: A mix of two pure breeds. Herding dog dad and hunter type mom. Is Exited and Loves his human very much. Learns all the tricks fast but always expects treats or verbal praise. Have great memory for places, people, scents, etc. Can be vindictive and petty at times. Protective and can be provoked to fierce aggression. Loves to be in the wilderness and can be trained even to find edible mushrooms. Howls on the full moon every time without missing a day even if he doesn’t see her. You like to joke that he’s a werewolf, a man trapped inside a dog. You feel uneasy when he immediately stares at you with his intelligent eyes and cocks his head to the side.

Marcus P: Family type. Medium size. Loves everyone unconditionally. Will kiss every stranger and try befriend every breathing creature he sees. But will protect his family and friends till the last breath. Perfect for duty in the forces but I don’t like them so he works with rangers and rescue teams. Can smell lies from kilometers away. That type of dog who joins you in a tub when you take too long in a bath. If you leave him somewhere or, god forbid, die before him, he will wait like Hachiko. He never gets lost and will find you even on another continent. Have one family for the rest of his life. Perfect dog.

Marcus M: Tired. Lost fucks to give. Smart but lazy. Is great at baby sitting. Just Loves naps, snacks and his human. Low maintenance. Please, don't drag him for a morning run or outside during a rain. Surprisingly, enjoys baths, isn’t scared of vets and technology. Great dane vibes. Newfoundland vibes. Loves the beach and ocean, basically, anything with water, far from noisy city. Rivers, lakes are great. Will be a great companion for fishing even if he doesn’t really like cold weather. Secretly enjoys wearing outfits for Halloween. 

Max: Pure breed Doggo. I’m getting shiba inu or husky vibes, so Loud and Stubborn. Has two (2) braincells that he uses to get attention and annoy everyone else. Smart but needs excessive amount of incentive to do something on command. Knows how to open a fridge, doors and climb baby fences at the age of 4 months. Is easily offended but can forgive and forget, if given belly rubs, treats and kisses (in that order only). Pure of heart, dumb of ass. Will accompany children for Crimes and avoid Punishments later so watch out. 

Jack: Big dog from an old family of champions (might be agility, hunting, work duty, dog competitions, etc.) Very competent in the area he was trained for but secretly is a goofy clingy baby. Requires active lifestyle and regular activities. If a dog could be a himbo, he would be called one. Good with people and other animals, even though he sometimes doesn’t understand that you can’t kiss a fish in a tank or play catch with a horse. Pure of heart and slightly less dumb of ass than Max. Do NOT put them together in one place. 

Frankie: A Good Boy. A soft, gentle heart in a hard exterior. I’m sensing pitbull, rottweiler or german shepard vibes. Despite his looks he’s a charmer and everyone wants to baby him. Do not get fooled he’s soft but not naïve. Can and will protect you from any danger. Loves camping and any other outdoor activity. Sometimes eats something from a trash can but feels and looks so guilty afterwards that you don’t have it in you to punish him or even raise your voice. He’s afraid of loud noises and doesn’t trust TV or voice assistance like Alexa. Loves children and, if someone from his household gets pregnant, he will be beside them 24/7. Usually, he’s very talkative and a little clumsy, but will be on his best behavior with a tiny human. Can even be left with a new born baby just watch out for his kisses.

Cat vibes

Javier: He's that cat that lives on the street, everyone knows him and have different names for him. He occasionally visits you. Prey fear him, women love him. He reacts to his names only if he's in a mood. Is fed by everyone. Independent. Understands how to manipulate people. Hunts. Fights local dogs. Generally chill but if you fuck around him, you will find out. If he likes you, you might find a dead bird or a mouse at your porch. Purrs like a damn helicopter engine. Likes to sunbathe. Accidently you found out that he’s a patron for a local bar/pub where he has a personal barstool.

Maxwell: A persian or an exotic. Acts like he barely tolerates you, when in reality is touch deprived, deeply dependent and craves all forms of affection and praise. Eats only expensive food from cans and enjoys brushing (even washing, if you ask nicely). Gets bored from a new toy after two hours. Hoards random objects somewhere in the house and will protect his treasures with his life. Has abandonment issues, please, don’t leave him for more than 5 hours or he will yell at you afterwards and maybe wake you up at 2 a.m. to have a chat. Surprisingly, loves children. 

Oberyn: He’s savannah. Graceful. Magnificent. Royally behaved cat. Lives on attention from both people and other animals and spacious expensive bedding (silk is favorite). Have a sweet tooth so, please, give him berries and fruit. Needs full body contact and constant company or mental/physical entertainment. Will assert dominance, if there are other male species present. He always knows which person is toxic and he will let them know what he thinks of them. He may or may not bring in a new partner/partners almost every two days, so, if you don’t want to pay furry alimony for the rest of your life cut those bells off. He will be gravely hurt and will befriend even more other cats, animals and people out of spite. Might ruin your furniture or knock off stuff from tables and shelves on accident while maintaining full eye contact but it will pass. Eventually. 

Dave: He’s short haired cat with big ears and teeth (I personally see a black cat). Will protest furiously if you try to cut his nails. Loves only members of his household. He has two moods when it comes to affection: 1. Do not breath or look in my direction or I will kill you. You would die for me? Then Perish. 2.You’re my Sun and Moon. I need your love like air. I need to be as close as possible to you. And, of course, the first one usually comes when you want to pet him and the second is his regular mood for 3 a.m. He also knows how to escape outside and always brings you dead animals from his walks. You were getting tired and kinda mad at him for that but then he once brought you a wallet full of cash covered in blood with no id or cards to identify the owner. You decided to hand it to the police who questioned you for two hours because the wallet turned out to be an evidence to a mysterious murder they’re investigating. They wanted to take lab samples from him but when they came to your home he wasn’t there. You almost had a mental break down trying to convince them that you indeed have a cat (lack of cat toys and cat stuff that he doesn’t like did not play to your advantage here) and you’re not mentally ill. They believed you and left. He returned home after a midnight and went to cuddle you while purring loudly. You asked him not to do it again and you could swear he looked you in the eyes and nodded. Miraculous Ladybug: Future Madness

Ok....So ... I've been thinking about this idea for a long time and it would be the first time I published a concrete and concise idea like this, even more so for a very direct fandom such as the Miraculous Ladybug fandom. It should be clarified that this is an IDEA or CONCEPT, it is not something real.

Making that clear, I continue to continue.

This idea for a video game based on the Miraculous Ladybug universe came up while I was trying to remaster the TMNT: Turtles In Time soundtrack (the Arcade version, not the SNES version).

At first I started as a very basic idea but then it evolved to the concept that I want to share with you, but before continuing, I must first divide the content into parts, to better understand how I imagine a Miraculous Ladybug video game would be.

1. THE GAMEPLAY:

Introducing you to my crazy idea, we have the most important and crucial thing, the gameplay.

This video game, from my perspective, I feel that it would be a Beat 'Em Up, a classic genre of games like Streets Of Rage, Final Fight, Kunio-Kun Saga, Double Dragon, etc. Its specific gameplay would drink a lot from the aforementioned games but would also add mechanics such as, for example, the semi-3D scenes of TMNT: Turtles In Time from the SNES and a bit of the gameplay of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.

The number of players would be 4 for a maximum of 4 characters and among the main controllable characters would be:

-Marinette (Ladybug)

-Adrien (Chat Noir)

-Kagami (Ryuko)

-Nino (Carapace)

Later, more playable characters and surprises would be unlocked.

The scenarios would have to be a little more elaborate and long than the average Beat 'Em Up, to encourage exploration but without too much open world, to find a balance between the old arcade gameplay Beat' Em Up and the new exploration sensation of the more Recent Beat 'Em Up like Streets Of Rage 4 or River City Girls.

2. THE HISTORY:

The story is why I really do this blog and this idea, since, as I said previously, it was something that evolved over time and now it is somewhat complex.

To sum up the whole general plot, the game begins with the player controlling Ladybug and her friends (Chat Noir, Carapace and Ryuko) to fight Lila and Shadowmoth (Before Hawkmoth) and the army of minions that Lila is creating with her powers of Volpina to wreak havoc and keep the heroes busy, as well as separated so she can have a chance to get hold of the Miraculous from Ladybug and Chat Noir.

The player finishes the introductory level and defeats these two bosses while getting used to the gameplay. Once Shadowmoth is defeated along with Lila, the heroes are about to unmask our villain but then a time portal appears and a very badly wounded Bunnyx and a mysterious villain who has the same powers as Shadowmoth but still leaves almost flying. notorious much stronger than the mentioned one. The villain shows her strength despite being very hurt, making it clear how strong she is, in order to take Bunnyx through the portal. The heroes chase the villain through the portal to end up in an alternate universe / future where this villain controls Paris from the shadows, with her akumas powered by microtechnology that allow her to keep akumatized who will be the game's zone bosses.

The heroes thus, would meet the very limited and small resistance whose leaders would be a mysterious heroine who would call herself "Savage Rouge" and an aging Gabriel Agreste. After some somewhat limited and mysterious explanations, the heroes would go to work to defeat each boss who controls an area of ​​the City of Paris.

While the player defeats each boss and deakumatizes them, little by little it is discovered that each boss is actually a friend and acquaintance of our heroes and they are discovering little by little things of this alternate future, the mysterious villain, Lady Darkmoth, as they know her, is healing her wounds and gaining more energy in her secret and private laboratory while her two mysterious assistants are taking care that the " government "of his lady and boss does not fall apart.

Once the heroes have managed to free almost all of Paris from the control of Lady Darkmoth, the heroes in their hiding place of the resistance are celebrating without knowing that one of their friends has a tracker that reveals the location to the villain, to top it off the mysterious villain is already completely healthy and with more power than before. Lady Darkmoth takes advantage of the fact that everyone is celebrating the victory to give a wild surprise with hers, two mysterious helpers of hers. Lady Darkmoth sends her assistants to take care of the resistance members and who were deakumatized while Lady Darkmoth takes care of Ladybug, Chat Noir, Carapace, Kagami, Savage Rouge, Gabriel Agreste and Emilie Di Vanille (who in this alternate future has been saved and awakened by Ladybug and has separated from Gabriel Agreste), defeating everyone with great ease, being only Emilie, Lila and Gabriel who end up giving her the most fight but defeating them in the end. Lady Darkmoth reveals to heroes the truth about who Gabriel Agreste is and reveals the identity of Savage Rouge, being neither more nor less than Lila Rossi. After that she would reveal her true identity, Emma Duppain-Agreste, the middle daughter of Marinette Duppain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste.

Emma would charge a powerful attack with which she would destroy the base of the resistance, taking with her Gabriel, Emilie and Lila, thinking that with her great charged attack she managed to kill the heroes, who have been narrowly saved.

The heroes and the rebels who were left alive decide to go to the secret facilities following the villain, taking advantage of a trace that the villain's power generates and that they have just discovered to their secret laboratories, waging a tough battle against the huge arsenal of sentimonsters modified with Futuristic technology that Emma has at her disposal. There the heroes manage to enter the depths of the secret laboratory and free Gabriel, Alyx, Lila and Emilie, Lila being the only conscious one and which explains that Emma became the villain they know because of the Marinette of the future. denied her middle daughter being a superhero for fear that all her children could end up hurt or even traumatized as she suffered with that stressful life, taking it to somewhat radical extremes that ended up taking Emma away from her mother and causing her to she became more friends with Lila, which little by little would end up giving her the wrong ideas. Lila would tell them that Emma would end up misinterpreting an advice that she would give to a very moody and angry Emma and would end up attacking her parents when they were off guard, thereby assuming the blame as well and that for that she had taken the mantle of Savage Rouge , to at least try to repair the damage, freeing Gabriel Agreste from jail so that he could also help him by his knowledge of the Miraculous. After the explanation, the heroes go to try to defeat Emma before she carries out her plan to expand her control to more cities in the world but in it they face the mysterious helpers who turn out to be crazed and adult versions of Marinette and Adrien, which were used by Emma as guinea pigs to perfect her mecha akumas to control people by way of revenge.

The heroes finally arrive with Emma and fight her but in the middle of the first fight Emma cheats using an unfinished special machine to greatly weaken the heroes until Lila intervenes and sacrifices herself to expose the weak point of the girl. Emma's machine and dies, causing the heroes to overcome the final battle, defeating the young villain, who survives weakened and Ladybug and her friends destroy the laboratory while taking Emma and the others who were inside the laboratory. Emma is imprisoned for life like Gabriel (who must pay her perpetual sentence). Ladybug and the heroes are dedicated to helping rebuild the Paris of the alternate future but are later taken by a Bunnyx recovered in time, but not before Marinette writing on a paper what mistakes she should not make in the future (without revealing much of his alternate future or what he has experienced in the game). Bunnyx takes them back in time after erasing them all from her memory and ends the story.

Yes, yes, I know, the story is very long, but that does not prevent it from being used in a game and even more so in a Beat 'Em Up game. It would just be a matter of simplifying a few things. Let me know in the comments if you like the story or your suggestions.

3. THE MUSIC:

The music would have to be a fusion of styles that would be based on the musical style of the TMNT game: Turtles In Time (Arcade Version) with some musical ideas from some games like Sega's Out Run (Arcade) or some works by composer Luke McQueen.

-Small Playable Campaign where we explore the perspective of Gabriel, Lila and two rebellious characters that in the future will end up becoming the Ladybug and Chat Noir.

-An art gallery where you can see the concept arts of the series and the video game.

-Small Playable Campaign where we can play as Emma Agreste when she tries to be Ladybug (part of the story that tells you different characters in the base campaign) and her friends, who only two survived to be akumatized in the future by Emma, ​​the other he died and was a major factor in Emma's fall from grace.

-Extra soundtrack but in SNES and Sega Genesis version.

-A small animated mini series that explains in detail the one that led to all the characters of the alternate future ending up as they were.

Thank you so much for asking this!! And I do have some head canons for Peach! I wish he would appear more in the game (through texts,books, and paintings.) it even just texts about living in pitch darkness underground. But I am not a chemist or a biologist! So all these are my thoughts and opinions.

People used to live in the ruins underground. To me it gives me Metro 2020 vibes on monsters and people living in isolation. But as more and more people struggled to even survive, it gave way for some individuals to want to venture into ‘forbidden’ areas in hope of saving themselves, loved ones and people.

But we need to talk about the 4 histories of my time at Portia.

Age of corruption. This time period is a bit further than where we are right now. We are almost living this life but normal civilians don’t access to human sized robots (Ack) to do our house chores just yet. But the age of corruption is just humans living lazy, luxurious, and pampered lives. Which unfortunately when you have humans that get whatever they want with very little effort it makes greed and entitlement a big problem.

Day of calamity - entitlement meant war. Consider it like nuclear war. Humans created weapons to conquer and destroy neighboring cities. The smoke from the chemicals, and fires covered the skies. Chemical rain caused mutations in animals creating some of the monsters we see in the game. But the chemical warfare didn’t just Mutate animals...it also affected humans. Between the war and chemicals the human popular became sparse. Now I don’t remember if the game mentioned exactly what the smoke was that covered the world but I can only guess it was the chemical smoke. Which goes into

The age of darkness. Humans lived underground. My guess is because of the chemical smoke clouds which meant chemical rainfall. (Chemical rainfall is a real thing even now. Our real world is so infested with pollution that it rains out of the sky 💀). So humans to escape the nuclear chemical infested air (okay technically it’s the dust particles but I’m gonna say air), water, and rain they had to live underground because the air would be unbareable for humans. I like to think of Fallout for this. Like in fallout 4 with nuclear rain and how it hurts and Being near radiated water hurts. But with the sun covered away for so long initiate a nuclear winter. So humans now living isolated underground would cause problems naturally... finding a mate would be hard being confined to what group your ancestor fled with. Plants don’t grow well without sunlight, radiation is in the water, lack of vitamin D, and no proper ventilation for smoke, FREEZING temperatures and the threat of other creatures that lived underground.

The age of darkness is when the church of light was formed. In times of panic and fear religion thrives. Stephen Kings the mist shows how fast religion can come about in times of fear, and uncertainty. Which would have split our already divided survivors. The religious followers who believed religion will save them and the explorers who didn’t beleive saving would magically happen.

This is where Peach would have been born. He would have been born underground and he was apart of the explorers. He aided in the dangerous ruin dives to find technology that was salvageable. I feel a lot of people would have died finding all this technology. Because I think peach wasn’t a fighter per say as he was more of a scientist. It would have taken the combined work of an explorer/adventurer and scientists to get it all going. But peach managed to build a machine to dispel the chemical induced darkness. Which lead to

The day of the bright sun! Peach used the machine to dispel the clouds in as many places as he could. But of course it took decades before the clouds fully disappeared. But even after humans were finally free...humans went right back to war again for control. But now control for the ruins and the technology within them.

That was a quick and not so great overview! But now my head canons!

💻I don’t think Peach lived a long life. He would have been exposed to radiation and chemicals during his entire time exploring for parts, building it together and having to go to the surface to use the machine in the first place. He probably died a painful death and the radiation slowly but surely killed him.

💻I don’t believe he would be a church of light follower. During the age of darkness the church believed all technology was evil. But Peach believed and risked his life every day to find technology that could save them.

💻I feel he’s a nerd and not a fighter. Django says after Peach, people formed the civil cops and military over knights. Which I think means civil corps were originally people who aided in the ruins dives to keep the scientists (Peach) safe.

💻he popularized umbrella hats because he used umbrella hats so he could use his hands while protecting him from the radiated rain.

💻now for how he neutralized it’s I’m not so sure. I presume it would be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. They had to build on top of the city to get away from the radiation. Which makes sense as to why Portia is built on top of the previous city that it was 300 years prior. But I think maybe Peach built some form of a a reverse osmosis, carbon air filter, and some Ion exchange to purify the water. Hence why Peach is a total nerd. Because I don’t understand science so much XD.

The Greatest Experiments In Scientific History

From June 1, 1899 to January 7, 1900, Nikola Tesla conducted experiments and research on high voltage and high frequency electricity to prove his theory of world wireless energy transmission. His previous 10 years of lectures, experiments, and research prior to this expedition had prepared him to further explore the most complex electrical forces any human had previously ever faced in history.

He chose Colorado Springs, CO as the location due to the high elevation and low air pressure suitable for electrical experimentation. Also, because this was a far more sparsely populated and open area compared to his lab in New York, he was free to experiment with the more extreme parameters of electricity.

With his new and improved Tesla coils that he had invented previously, which could produce electrical power up to millions of horsepower, he was set to challenge the limits of electricity. It’s clear from Tesla’s notes that his principle initiative was to find ways to manipulate the forces of nature and to utilize them for the advancement of humankind. In his Colorado Springs Notes text, he expressed that he had three main goals:

1. To develop a transmitter of great power.

2. To perfect means for individualizing and isolating the energy transmitted.

3. To ascertain the laws of propagation of currents through the earth and the atmosphere.

In his seven months of work, not only did he accomplish all three goals and prove his theory of wireless energy transmission, but he made some of the most remarkable experiments in scientific history. He obtained voltage and frequencies in the hundreds of millions of horse power–producing sparks over 100 feet in length, and actually sent energy through the earth itself to light multiple lamps which were placed dozens of miles away from his transmitter. He discovered stationary waves deriving from natural lightning discharges which his receiver could detect hundreds of miles away from his station. This discovery proved that power could indeed be transmitted through the earth to far distances. He also discovered that the earth as a whole had certain periods of vibrations, and by using his large oscillator could impress electrical vibrations at the same periods upon it creating more energy within the earth. This process is now referred to as constructive interference (the interference of two or more waves of equal frequency and phase, resulting in their mutual reinforcement and producing a single amplitude equal to the sum of the amplitudes of the individual waves). By doing this repeatedly using massive amounts of energy unheard of before, Tesla was able to transmit energy from his transmitter around earth and back to his receiver traveling at a mean velocity of 292,815 miles per second. Over 100,000 mps faster than light. Many electrical experimenters have proven this velocity including Jonathan Zenneck and Arnold Sommerfeld. The mathematical equation to this speed is pi divided by 2 times the speed of light ( π/2( c ) ).

Witnessing this experiment, space, according to Tesla, was completely annihilated. This meant he could potentially throw the globe into oscillations of such magnitude that massive amounts of energy could be created, collected, and transmitted to any point on earth regardless of distance.

Fully confident that he accomplished what he initially set out to do, Tesla journeyed back to New York to patent his improved apparatuses and build a new system on an even larger scale than what he’d created in Colorado. This would lead to his World Wireless System, known as his Wardenclyffe Tower. Unfortunately, Tesla would not realize his dream of providing humankind with cheap, unlimited energy in his lifetime; however, his legacy and dreams live on through his experiments conducted in Colorado Springs:

“I am unwilling to accord to some small-minded and jealous individuals the satisfaction of having thwarted my efforts. These men are to me nothing more than microbes of a nasty disease. My project was retarded by the laws of nature. The world was not prepared for it. It was too far ahead of time. But the same laws will prevail in the end and make it a triumphal success.”

The vibrations produced by the oscillator were so intense that they affected perceptibly a small coil tuned to the twenty-sixth higher tone.

The electrical pressure, alternating one hundred thousand times per second, excites the normally inert nitrogen, causing it to combine with the oxygen. The flame-like discharge shown in the photograph measures sixty-five feet across.

So I played Snowy Escape this week! It’s my cup of tea! I watched LGR’s review (and Plumbella’s too) and yeah, as usual, I agree with both of them. The pack doesn’t give us a lot that’s really new, especially in terms of gameplay, and I really wish there had been even small interactive moments aboard trains and ski lifts. However, I also agree that it’s a really aesthetically beautiful pack. The way tourists who haven’t gone to Japan yet think of Japan might be like Tokyo Shibuya area, or Osaka shopping streets... but uh, Tokyo and Osaka are only two cities in all of Japan, and pretty much the entire rest of the country isn’t like that. The majority of Japan’s tourist attractions are nature- and history-based, after all.

The big question for me was just how touristy “Mt Komorebi” was going to come across. Sims is pretty noticeably America-centric, and Western culture is the norm. They put out Jungle Adventure and it’s like stepping into a 90s action movie. The most progressive thing you can say about the locals in that pack is that, due to being governed by the same rules that apply to all Sims, they don’t come across “different” enough to be straight up othered. The area they live in, of course, is underdeveloped in spite of the “culture” skill, and very much is meant to be an exotic adventure for Indiana Jones.

Komorebi’s not that bad though. I was impressed at first by the amount of detail there seemed to be. I never expected we’d get space heaters and kotatsu and nabe in-game without downloading CC. Taking off your shoes to go inside, using chopsticks, sliding doors (which I’ve wanted more of for SO LONG), are all true to life as well as modern and also just nice to have. There’s some weird bits, like how when sims sit at the kotatsu they don’t sit on their knees, their legs just disappear into the floor... I guess we can assume there’s a hole underneath (which is the case with some kotatsu just not usually the at-home kind). I also would have liked more every day interactions, like doing homework at the kotatsu or watching TV or even taking a nap.

The patterns for yukata/kimono are pretty awful though. The more understated ones I can live with, but anything with a splash of color is a fashion disaster.

The look of the houses in the towns are really nice. The interiors, not so much, but that’s easier to fix than the facade and landscaping for most of us. The non-interactive backgrounds areas really do look like Japan. It’s a pity we can’t explore it at all. (I would have LOVED just one interactive conbini. That’s one Japan staple that it’s simply weird to leave out. They probably figured conbini wouldn’t have anything the vending machines don’t have, but personally I’d rather have conbini than vending machines. Unless they made it rabbit hole, in which case fuck it)

Also liked the snow festival and the lights festival. It’s true there’s not a lot to do at them, other than take pictures, and it was really hard to get good pictures with my sims in them... When I went to snow festivals, you could do things like light candles in little snow cubbies, or have a meal in a kamakura, etc. That would have been nice. Otherwise it’s just look at the pretty sights and make normal snowmen. Same with the lights festival - it’s gorgeous, but... They do have food stalls but the variety is limited. You can get four different kinds of yakisoba and ramen but no okonomiyaki, no ikayaki. There’s no festival games. I’m currently festival-starved due to covid-19 so my hopes were a bit higher. Still... like I said, I enjoyed them. I guess I just like pretty things. And I do spend an inordinate amount of time just taking pictures of my Sims doing things anyway xP

The Youth festival is pretty dull. It seems more like a not!Pokemon festival than anything else. The crepes, however, are great. Also it’s really WEIRD that the koinobori (the carp flags) are out all the time, like a normal decoration, in the city. That’s one culture thing that I think got confused.

So as far as it goes... it’s not as touristy as I expected it to be. I give it props for that. It’s definitely still got a vibe of “non-Japanese foreigner goes for a visit,” as in, I think if a Japanese company made a Sims game with Japanese players in mind, they’d have done a ton things differently. But we got a more robust cultural depiction than we ever have before, so, nice.

The winter sports are fun! I weirdly didn’t get bored even though like LGR says, it is just watching the Sims do the same thing over and over again without any player interaction. That does suck but is also par for the course with Sims 4. Since I play multiple Sims at a time, it’s easy for me to stick one on the bunny slope and just let them ski until they level up while I do something else with another Sim :P (Sims is more fun when you cheat!)

The onsen is a let down. It’s nice, sure. It’s just a spa though. And it’s WEIRD that you can have sex in the onsen while other people are in it, even children, and they are not freaked out, but you can’t skinny dip in front of children. All they get is an uncomfortable moodlet afterwards because now the onsen water is dirty x’D I wonder if that’s an oversight that will get tweaked in the future...

However, onsen is very pretty too. I would have liked a smaller building and better landscaping with two or three hot springs to pick from. Also, there are gendered entrance curtains, but they don’t actually divide Sims by gender and all lead to the same place... I guess it’s good to have for pictures at least. If you want to put in the ladies room and mens room doors you could easily make his and hers as well as a mixed hot spring baths. I think this is one we just have to let the Sim builder greats take on.

So HIKING is awesome! I loved it! It’s relaxing for me. Some might find it dull, but it’s really just so pretty, and for me brings back a lot of memories. Hiking in Japan is pretty much like that (although a lot more mountainous of course). It’s somewhat dependent on your graphics settings - mine aren’t that high so like the bamboo forest vanishes as I cam through it.. can’t get that sense of really being inside it. Also when I came across the cemetery I had my spellcaster try to Necrocall the one grave that has interactions, but it didn’t work, even though the option came up. ?? I was expecting some sort of cool ghost. Oh well.

I’m interested in climbing. I don’t have Fitness Stuff so I never did it before. It’s way more boring than leveling the winter sports though. But I think the mountain climb will be worth it.

There are little kodama and sprites you can come across and interact vaguely with. I’ll accept that as a Ghibli nod. It’s more cute than cultural but it’s also a bit of fun surprise, though I haven’t noticed any real effect beyond a moodlet. (Was told one gave me a present but I couldn’t find it in my inventory so I think it was just the moodlet.)

Also the bugs!! That’s very Japan! And you can buy insect repellent hahaha that’s a level of realism I didn’t ask for but will take

I’ll talk about lifestyles and sentiments too. I don’t need them personally. The sentiments are kind of nice to see, but they’re predictable. You get the same ones if you do certain things. They give you a moodlet when the Sim shows up, which I guess I do like, but... tbh it’s damn inconvenient sometimes. For ex, I played by Tsubasa family to explore Mt Komorebi, and I noticed many conversations were inexplicably becoming “awkward.” The reason was - even though no one was saying or doing anything flirty - Kurogane and Fai were getting in the mood by just looking at each other thanks to sentiments, and Sakura and Syaoran were like -___-; I mean, it’s hilarious, but also annoying!

Lifestyles... eh. So far all my Sims just get the same ones. They all seem to get Adrenaline Seeker just for playing winter sports. Also I find the pop-ups warning me when a Sim’s going to lose their lifestyle annoying, and if a Sim gets a lifestyle I don’t want for them, it’s annoying to watch their mood change for dumb reasons like “didn’t spend enough time outdoors today.” It’s the same concept as traits. It’s kind of nice that you can change them around by doing different things, and since we’re limited to three traits I won’t say no to more (for example, instead of giving a Sim the “Loves the Outdoors” trait, you can try to get the Outdoorsy lifestyle and use the trait slot for something that influences their personality more). But all in all I find my Sims still just act the same as usual and the gameplay is all in pop-ups, so it’s just not exciting for me.

Also had a glitch where Sakura would take off her shoes to go inside but when she went out, she put on a pair of snowboots that I never even equipped her with, and she wore them with every outfit. Editing in CAS didn’t help. A reboot did though.
