Bonnie showed interest in mermaids, so her parents bought her a PRINCESS ARIEL DOLL for Christmas. The only time she was played with is with this cowgirl doll. The mermaid did not mind, she thought the other doll was STRONG and ADVENTUROUS just like she is. Apparently, the pair are 'lovers' in the child's roleplay. There was a mistletoe hanging above the door, so Bonnie pressed both dolls together for a 'kiss'. If the humans were not present, Ariel would have smiled even wider.

ariel, my love!!! i heard you're in a acotar mood, so i'm gonna give a fae-related recommendation, which is the "the folk of the air" trilogy, by holly black. it's not romance focused, despite it having a very compelling enemies to lovers plot across the whole trilogy, it's much more focused on the political intrigue of that universe, which was the best part for me. the lore is also great, you can easily in it. i know there's other books in that same universe but i haven't read them, the trilogy in itself was already amazing without expanding that universe.

🌿how does creating make you feel?

Sometimes frustrated, sometimes really good - it depends what I'm writing and what sort of mood I'm in before the writing. It gives me really high highs and really low lows. But when it's going well, I really loes myself in it, a bit like reading a good book, I guess? I'm not really conscious of the real world, I'm writing everything that's going on in my brain - in those kind of writing sessions, I feel so good, so productive and like it's something I'm meant to be doing, like I'm good at it?
