This is Stan's list of ratings on who's the best Loser to go birdwatching with

Ben: 8/10 a safe bet. Pros: Is always quiet and tries to be attentive when Stan points birds out Cons: He honestly gets bored quickly out there and is too nice to say anything about it. Stan knows this and usually doesn't bring him bc he knows Ben wouldn't say no if he offered

Bill: 6/10 it's a mix bag Pros: Bill will always doodle the birds Stan points out and it's just sweet- Stan has a whole collection of them Cons: while Bill can be quite once they get there but Bill is an absolute clutz and makes a complete racket as they walk so when they finally find a spot, most of the birds are scared off. Also he whisper yells.

Richie: 3/10 but ironically still not the worst Pros: He can sometimes make funny puns with the bird names Stan tells him...that's about it Cons: Silence makes Richie nervous so he feels the need to fill it and sitting still for too long makes him jittery. Overall it's just bad for his adhd and for Stan's patience

Mike: 9/10 but still not the best Pros: He's quiet and always brings a homemade picnic! He listens nicely to Stan and asks questions about the birds, make Stan's interest in them feel validated. Mike is also just an animal lover so he's genuinely interested in what Stan has to say about them Cons: There's not much except for the fact he can sometimes get too excited and ask too many questions, and talking too much can scare the birds away

Eddie: 0/10 never again Pros: HA yeah right Cons: Eddie hates birds, he thinks they're germ filled things and he has no problem telling Stan this. He brought Eddie once with him and that was enough to never do it again. He loves Eddie, he does, but he'd rather not hear about how many diseases the birds are carrying half yelled into his ear in that frenzy way Eddie can only talk in

Bev: 10/10 she is an absolute angel Pros: She likes to curl around Stan and honestly just takes a nap as once they get settled somewhere most of the time, her head laying in his lap or on his shoulder. It's such a quiet and tender time in the early mornings that Bev doesn't often get but she feels at peace when she does with Stan. And Stan? He just honestly enjoys having a thing that's just his and Bev's, it brings them closer together Cons: Not really a con but she isn't a morning person so that's why she sleeps a lot, especially if they're under a sunny spot

hc that richies teeth r a mess and went totally hates it cause it makes him look bad and richie gets braces and hates them but he gets the brightest color they had available cause he loves bright colors

also his style of comedy is so so rachel sennott ( look her up if u dont know who she is please shes hilarious ) which is why i feel like he gets into acting in like absurd comedies and it kinda sticks and eventually falls into actually acting

bill loves drawing the other losers when they r not paying attention and little sketches and doodles cover his school work ( the others think its so endearing )

on days when his stutter is really bad bill goes nonverbal but the losers include him easily cause he is honestly kinda an open book with his intentions and emotions so they always know what he wants

eddie hates walking long distances and is always asking for piggyback rides ( adding to the eddie should hate nyc but when anyone brings it up he gaslights them cause he has always wanted to live there agenda )

however eddie loves running and is always racing people because he knows he will win even though hes short ( richie hates it cause his legs are too long and he is really awkward and oddly slow when he tries to run. if he actually gets fast he almost always trips cause he is so clumsy and then eddie is way in front of him )

bev gives richie and bill amateur piercings full parent trap style and at least one of them gets infected. when they r older she convinces ben to let her pierce his ears. eddie hates it and is always like “i am not helping when it gets infected” but does anyway

she also makes friendship bracelets and the losers freak when they find out and they all are always wearing at least two

in some an au stan becomes an ornithologist but like just in an au where the losers dont split up during the time jump they buy him a bird like as soon as they move out of derry and it is stans favorite thing ever

stan is really good at hiding his emotions but he always stims when he is overwhelmed or upset and it is a clear giveaway. he has been doing it since he was really little and now cant stop

mike loves animals and shows off all the farm animals to the other losers and also def has a dog that eddie loves but pretends not to even though the dog also loves him

mike is also the loser who everyone goes to for advice for literally anything and has the ability to make anyone feel better like instantly the others have no idea how he does it

ben loves the act of designing buildings but was never that good at math so college was a little rough. also his interest in archeology started after he read percy jackson in middle school cuz annabeth loved archeology

he also slips into a country accent whenever he gets really comfortable and the losers think its amazing ( richies country accent is just him trying and failing to copy ben )

richie and ben light up the room when they are truly happy. richie because his happiness is loud and unavoidable and ben because his radiates off him in waves and spreads to those around him

Stanley Uris the quadrilingual legend

Richie is a French immigrant, Eddie is a Mexican immigrant, and Bill lost his speech for a while before developing his stutter.

Because of this, Stanley decided to learn French, Spanish, and ASL to communicate with all 3 of them when he first met them, and he taught Eddie and Richie english.

He met Bill first because he already lived in Derry. He learned sign language because he really wanted a friend, and no one else wanted to talk to him. Bill was overjoyed that someone learned ASL just to talk to him.

Then, he met Richie. Bill wanted to make him feel welcomed because he knew what it was like to not be able to communicate, but he was still unable to speak during this time. So Stan learned French to help him learn English.

Finally, Eddie came along. Richie had a big old fat crush on him but Eddie couldn’t understand all his attempts. Stan had enough and learned just so he didn’t have to deal with their miscommunications.

Eddie wanted to shout a million things at the stubborn man. First, he would have told him that he didn’t need protecting, and then he would have immediately followed it up with the fact that Richie was the one who was bleeding out.

What he ended up staying was, “And what the fuck are you going to do?”

Richie smiled a wicked smile, and Eddie saw blood in his teeth.

“I’m gonna go get Stan.”

for totally not fanfic writing purposes, who do you think is who's first kiss in the losers club? i personally believe stan's first kiss is richie and eddie's was either richie too or bill but yk that's just my hc

I have very strong opinions on this. You are indeed correct, Stanley and Richie were each other's first kiss. When they were like 12 and going through that awkward stage of questioning their sexuailty and they were like "well how do we know we like guys if we never kissed one?" and surprise- they both like guys.

And yeah Ik Bill and Bev were cannonlly each other first kiss but BORING, Bill's first kiss was actually with Eddie and vice versa, before the play. They were like five and they were playing house. Bill was the dad and Eddie didn't want to be the mom so he was like?? Can I aslo be the dad?? And Bill being five was like "Yeah of course!" And then 'kissed' his 'husband'...Sonia had a conniption fit when she learned they were playing house with two dads.

Okay so like I said Bill was Bev's first kiss in the play and we all know Ben's was with Bev but what about Mike? Glad you asked.

So they're like 14/15 and playing truth or dare and Richie asks Mike who the last person he kissed was. Mike flusters and admits he's never been kissed. The whole group gasps bc how the hell has Mike not been kissed? He's Mike, everyone loves Mike. Then Richie declares that obviously someone has to kiss Mike right now- he was totally planning on being the one to do it- but then Bill jumps up with a "I volunteer!!" (Bonus points if this a timeline where this happens when the Hunger Games got popular) and Bill kisses Mike right there, shy from both their ends and smiling to wide. Yes literally everyone else was jealous. Of both of them.

Sorry this took so long

They didn’t start dating each other until they’re young adults. They’re in separate relationships first. Richie and Stan, Mike and Eddie, Ben and Beverly. Bill being the 7th wheel.

Each couple talks about separately and then they all bring it up to Bill and he cries.

The relationship is pretty slow at first making sure that everyone is comfortable.

They get one of those Alaskan king beds so that they can all sleep in the same bed but they keep their separate beds for when they fight/aren’t feeling like cuddling all together.

They’re a different pairings (kinda like my one post)

Ben builds them a big house in their late 20’s/ early 30’s after his career takes off.

I have more so I’ll do a part 2

3. least favorite canon thing: this is probably a very popular one but… the fact he cheated on Audra😭 it just felt unnecessary given that ben and bev are the ones that really end up together

1. like and dislike: i love his relationship with georgie and just his big brother ian in general, he’s such a caring, nurturing character and that ties in really well with the idea that he’s the leader of the group. i honestly feel like i like him more than most people do, he’s not really as popular in the fandom 🤷🏻‍♀️

hanbrough is like yin and yang. But bill is the darkness in the the light, and Mike is the light trapped in derry darkness. Bill who writers scary stories, he knows darkness and evil intimately. His soul was cracked by darkness and death. And mike, through every bad thing that happens to him. His parents, people being racist to him, his trauma. Mike is filled with compassion, light. Hes kindness in human form. He loves animals and wants to protect the town of Derry. Mike light is so bright it shines.

This is why they balance each other so well!

Mike honestly deserved better and I wished he had gotten more from the movies.
