Sorry to bother but with your Hatbox/Crump x Child Reader how do you think he reacts when the dream team arrive at the Mansion would he really get more aggressive with wanting them to stay away from the reader?

Oh ,absolutely

Now he wouldn't really be able to do anything during the day except for making a ghost haunt the reader if they left.

But, once midnight rolled around, he would keep the reader as far away from the others as possible.

He would, however, do this as unnoticeable and discreetly as he could until the full moon came. This included locking doors, throwing objects at them, as well as scooping the dream team or the reader up in chairs and going to another part of the mansion.

The last thing he would want is for the dream team to figure out that you actually mean something to him.

Although, Once they go to Crump manor and see the picture of his child that looks a lot like the reader , everything that happened before clicks into Ben, Kent, and Travis' heads and realize the type of danger the reader is in.

What Disney villain would you choose to represent Ramshackle? Personally I think Ratagan would be a good choice.

ratigan is a good choice but personally i would choose the Hatbox Ghost from the haunted manison! i know he isn’t technically a villain in the attraction BUT if you were one of the like 5 people plus me (lol) who saw the 2023 Haunted Mansion movie, he is the villain! ramshackle is a ghost house! so in my eyes it makes sense for it to be represented by a ghost as well :3

Like awww I’m imagining keeping him tucked under your blankets and cuddling it at night, and he’s just inside of it getting kinda annoyed and grumpy but eventually he gets so addicted to the warmth and comfort of your hugs that he spends every hour of the day waiting for when you come back to bed and pick him up again

Maybe you start bringing it with you when you go out in public or travel so he can see more of the world after being stuck in the same house for so long and whenever you stop and sit somewhere to take a break you give the plushie a big hug and stroke its head and he’s just in there meltinggg

Indeed they are! I never intended Emily to really be involved in the story since she’s supposed to be out of the picture but she was DEFINITELY important to Hatty’s story and character development I had planned out. I always thought they were an adorable couple and so I of course had to include Hatty’s wedding ring in his character design hehe

“I don’t think it’s silly at all.”

It was heartfelt to him, hearing this song, knowing it was something Emily used to sing with her father, something special that still lived on in her, even in his passing, something near and dear to her heart because of it. Was it some grand, sweeping song from some legendary opera? No. But did it need to be? Not at all. It was an honest answer, and it made Randall smile when he heard it, listening eagerly as she sang him this melody, him taking it to heart as he did.

“It’s...it’s lovely!” he replied brightly, as he turned back to his organ, so charmed by the song that he wanted to see if he could play it back, even if he’d only heard it once:

“Little Lotte let her mind wander... Little Lotte thought, ‘Am I fonder of dolls, Or of goblins or shoes, Or of riddles or frocks, Those picnics in the attic, Or of chocolates?

No, what I love best,’ Lotte said, ‘is when I'm asleep in my bed, And the Angel of Music sings songs in my head... The Angel of Music sings songs in my head...’”

He felt fairly confident that he’d been able to replicate the song fairly well when he played it (he might’ve been off by a key or two, but it sounded fairly close when he sang and played it), as he looked back and smiled still to Emily, saying, “It’s not silly at all, I...I think it’s very sweet. It’s...comforting, in a way, it sounds so...gentle.” He wished he had a lullaby like that, to think back on on dark, cold nights, when he felt alone...

With the child reader that looks like Crumps own child idea would he sorta make himself kinda known to them in a mild way like making sure they don't get hurt while in the manor or leaving them items?

Yes, he would. And it wouldn't be obvious that it was actually him.

For one, he would make sure that the other spirits didn't bother you that much. Which was easy seeing as they are extremely terrified of him.

But you would eventually pick up on the paranormal activity that was happening, and depending on how you reacted to it, the more or less lenient he would be with allowing the other spirits to be around you.

The only exception to this would be when you left the manor to go do or get something. Then, he would allow a spirit to follow you and make sure you came back.

But he would definitely keep a close eye on the ghost that leaves with you, making sure they didn't take it too far.

Often time during past midnight, you would sometimes be up due to you being paranoid and sometimes woken up from all the spirits moving around.

During that time when Alistair is out and about, he will usually be found following you and making sure that you don't get hurt.

And there are also sometimes where exhaustion overtakes you, and you just fall asleep in whatever chair or couch you can find. When this happens, he will usually just scoop you up and take you to the main living room where you like to sleep.

When you first woke up and he had done it, you were like, " What the heck?, I don't remember coming back here."

But after the next few times, you kinda just thought maybe you were sleepwalking or that you had been so tired that you had forgotten that you went back.

As for leaving you things. He would usually help you find things that you lost while traveling throughout the large mansion.

Like if you left a toy outside or forgot where you placed your hairbrush. He would find it and place it somewhere where you would have an easier time finding it.

All in all, he tries to make your stay a lot nicer and more comfortable for you. Which is not a courtesy any of the once mortals,now ghosts had the pleasure of having.
