Yan! Possessive! Obanai x Nurse! Reader

(Reader works at the Butterfly Mansion)

Obanai is the type of yandere who will observe you from afar, he does not take action

However, in this scenario, let's say he does

He isn't as needy as Sanemi, thankfully, but he does like your attention

He is really insecure about his face, and hasn't even let you see it, but he lets you change him and take care of his wounds and stuff

He's not one for physical affection, he's more of a gift-giver and words-of-affirmation person

You can't count how many times he's given you small gifts

If Obanai is resting in the Butterfly Mansion, he'll give you Kabumaru and says something along the "So he can watch over you" when in reality it's Kabuamaru can scare off trashy patients

Kabuamaru has bitten a guy who got too comfortable with you

Obanai stands firm in his belief that his snake did the right thing

He hates females, as you know (But if you are female or identify as female you are the exception, but for now, you are gender-neutral)

He can only stand you and Shinobu taking care of him because he gets sick at anyone else

Obanai is ranked as the second hardest pillar to talk to, so whenever he's around you, not many get close

"Kabuamaru! You can't bite my patients!"

He chuckled for the rest of the day when his snake bit a 'trashy male' as he called it

You, however, did not find it funny

"Obanai, that wasn't funny, he could've gotten seriously hurt."

"I'm just protecting you, and he deserved it for committing the crime of daring to piss me off, and trying to flirt with you. That trash is lucky that's all I did."

"You are so lucky I love you."

He only hummed in response, but Kabu slid onto your shoulder, and rubbed his head against your cheek, showing its affection.

You knew what that meant

"Love you too, Oba."

Muichiro explains why he fired you.

Chapter 13

Muichiro called out for Gotto to stop, he knew he had to speak to you.

Gotto stopped in place at the Hashira's orders. He ran in place as he was conflicted between following Muichiro's orders to stop but also his orders to get the Hashira into a bed as soon as possible.

"You're here!" Muichiro said, eyes wide with amazement that you had come to greet him after how he had treated you.

"Of course, I came-" You began to say but Muichiro interrupted you.

"I don't have much time, and I need to tell you some things." He said hastily.

You realized not only was Muichiro covered in blood, but his body also seemed to be convulsing indicating he was badly poisoned.

"Tokito you should wait ti-"

"No! Listen!" He said, pressing his finger against your lips and shushing you. "I remember everything now, and I must tell you that I am deeply regretful of how I have treated you. I need you to know..." He paused and his eyes widened even further at his next confession. "I only fired you as my Tsuguko because I have immense feelings for you. You’re like a peacock. Every day we trained I was mesmerized by your elegance and I couldn't take my eyes off you.”

You felt your heart stop and a blush ignited on your face. This didn't feel real. Muichiro fired you because he has feelings for you? You also were taken aback by his whimsical metaphor. You were like a peacock? What a unique compliment you thought.

"You see... I couldn't forgive myself when you got hurt on that mission with me.” He continued, “I should have noticed there were two more demons approaching. I failed to protect you because I let myself get distracted watching you. I apologize, but I apologize even more for letting you think I fired you because of your own incompetence. When it was really myself I was actually upset with. Now if you'll have me again, please come back and train as my Tsug-" Before Muichiro could finish his statement some foam appeared in the corners of his mouth and his head thudded against Gotto's shoulder as he passed out.

"AHHHHHH!!" Gotto yelled. "YOU SEE WHAT YOU DID! NOW A HASHIRA HAS PASSED OUT ON MY WATCH!" He yelled as he ran into the Butterfly Mansion frantically.

Gotto was always the most excitable of the Kakushi you thought, but stood frozen watching as they both disappeared. The change of events had you feeling dizzy, and you felt you might pass out yourself if you moved too quickly. Muichiro really did want you as his Tsuguko… and more than that he has feelings for you.

You touched the hairpin in your hair that Muichiro gifted you as tears of joy began to form in the corner of your eyes. Get better soon please Muichiro you mused.

until you two get something else to do, you take the time out to show her your journal of sketches of your butterflies〜

you decide to go further with it and inform her on rare few purple butterflies, and telling her about butterflies that matches your colors too!

surprisingly to her, she felt much more relaxed and calm, and kind of had the urge to research about butterflies!

now, almost every time you two are doing research, each time shinobu will say a different butterfly she wants to know about from you.

to start off, you two would meet because of the butterflies.

you saw her butterfly clip and got intrigued. especially since she gives off such a calm butterfly demeanor!

you ask her if she knows anything about butterflies, much to your surprise, she shook her head a little.

you sit down next to her, asking if you two can talk about it, and she says yes〜

although, the conversation is much one-sided, but she’s listening to your every word!

kanao would actually keep a journal of butterflies you teach her about, or try to find them in the wild and report them to you!

as time goes on, she eventually asks questions about butterflies or brings one to you♡

she would be really surprised on how you’re so well informed on butterflies!

sadly, she’d question if she’s smart enough to be your friend.

you pick up on those behaviors, and offer to share everything you know about butterflies with her, so you two can be educated on them together!

she practically unofficially made you a butterfly sister (regardless of your gender)〜

how can someone who’s so knowledgeable on butterflies just not join?

as a thank you, aoi often bakes you treats in the shape of a butterfly! she always does your favorite type of butterfly too!

maybe she teaches you her best baking recipes and even shares her favorite baking techniques〜

she even gets you your own clip, and gifts it to you on your nightstand while you’re sleeping♡

when you guys are cleaning, they would ask to teach them about butterflies, and would be so interactive!
