hey all I need. a better recording set up. I've been using Audacity and I'm starting to think I need to pony up and get me an actual recording program so if anyone has any suggestions I'm open (I tend to record on my pc laptop, because my poor old mac is overheating and is just about hanging in there for my drawing work alone)

I also don't have anywhere soundproof in this house to record (and I don't think I can make one...), have tried the blanket over the head technique before and will again but if anyone has any better work arounds I'm struggling here fr

the way by the time he trails off his eyes have already gone kind of blinkingly hazy, he's already losing focus? and then after Annabeth speaks and the camera cuts back to him he's not listening at all anymore, and he's started to sway a little before he finally collapses?

the realism by Walker. like this 14-year-old really nailed the experience of getting woozy and then falling over in what seems like no time to everyone else but it took a few seconds to creep up on you.

can we get some appreciation for the perfection of this 10-second moment. a round of applause. what a dam show, is all i'm saying.

#he grimaces and yells too don't get me wrong but especially when things start to get dire there. his laughing headsprite pops up #or he's winking #or he's straight up chuckling #like right before the fight after he asks if anyone can be a good person. and to say it all #i say chuckling because that's likely what toby intended. and that's how i read it too at first! undertale isn't an audio medium #not where character voices are concerned most of the time #but then i listened to this dub of the scene by timber puppers on youtube and he starts off pretty regularly. more sombre but still his #slightly goofy voice. and then he pauses. and he LAUGHS. frome wheezing to full throated down to a quiet chuckle #and it's... literally reshaped the way i conceptualized that scene. the rest of the dub is fine it's obviously quality #but that LAUGH. #is just. on another level. man #undertale #sans #metanalysis

A must-see moment from this stage play, now translated by yours truly! This is my first time translating a long series of dialogue like this, so the phrasing might be a little off here and there, but I'm still confident in its overall accuracy.

It's not the full scene, since I was having a harder time making out what they were saying after that point, but since the main highlight was Ren and Shinji's reunion, I think it's fine as it is for now. Enjoy!
