I loved cosplaying Aziraphale and I suit him but part of me is dying to become a Crowley (left is me at Rose City Comic Con in 2023 / right is me many years ago before I started grief-buzzing my hair off every few months). Absolutely fiending for my long red locks back lately.

was inspired by @urboned ‘s cool designs for Aziraphale and Crowley so here’s a rough sketch (felt like drawing them as non-anthro animals though, hope that’s okay)

#sofia’s art #good omens #aziraphale #crowley #deer #mongoose #Comic I watched it!#i drew these two and then preceded to binge good omens #aziraphale and crowley are absolutely lovely #my hesitation in watching good omens before mainly had to do with being worried it would be too irreverent #I’m a Christian and my faith is very important to me #I knew that heaven was going to be portrayed as corrupt #but as a critique of religion and the human institution of the church it works #I like how they are on their own side now #the truth is normally somewhere in between two arguments anyway #not that I agree with everything in good omens #there is some very strange theology in there #but I don’t think it was trying to realistically portray God and heaven etc.#it was trying to say some important things about people and life on earth #I think that if Aziraphale and Crowley were real my God would love them actually #I loved how it all came together in the end with Adam being able to defeat Satan by refusing to accept him as his dad #and knowing he had the love of his real family and his friends #and the help of an angel and a demon who love earth and each other #and Crowley wondering if him and Aziraphale’s interfering was God’s plan all along

I know everyone’s mad at Aziraphale right now because of how the season’s ended but I don’t think we’ve talked enough about the fact that Aziraphale has been keeping a diary for centuries (based on the fact the entry we see is from volume 603) and he literally starts his entries with “dear diary, last month Crowley and I both happened to be in Edinburgh”.

no but the thing is. they KISSED. on screen. it was a real scene, not deleted, not removed from a script, it HAPPENED in front of the world's eyes. and AND the actors are normal about it and the whole cast and crew is normal about it and it's not vague and it's IMPORTANT. no matter the rest of it and what came after it, it happened!!
