YES it took a long time for most of the team to get used to stars... eccentricities but bee? Bee jumped right into befriending him which star was quick to reciprocate. At first to make sure he had an ally in the team and later out of genuine care. To say them getting together surprised no one in the team is an understatement.

He's not really redeemed more domesticated so while he's still a selfish cowardly schemer it's generally done with the desire to either help or protect his friends. He's very caring in his own way it's just hard to understand sometimes. He's protective as hell over sari and eagerly critics sumdac and optimus and ratchet and basically everyone except bee since bee's downright maternal with her himself.

When megs comes back star is the first to try fighting him despite his fear. Megs taunts that he'll make Star watch as he kills bee. After that stars desire to take over the decepticons is reinvigorated but this time it's in the name of protecting those he loves especially his little bee.

Ok but consider: death note au where ghosts haunt the people that killed them and when L dies he devotes his afterlife to protecting Light from the thousands of ghosts trying to get their revenge. Ft.Light going (even more) insane because he can see all these ghosts haunting him and he can't take it and also L thinking he's only protecting Light so he can get him caught as Kira before Light dies (with mild inconveniences for Light as well because L can do what he wants as a ghost so he can't pass up the opportunity to annoy Light without consequences) but really he just wants to keep Light safe

It was a beautiful summer day and Marinette and Luka were out on a cute picnic date in the park. They had been dating for five months now and their love had only grown stronger with each passing day. Marinette was so happy to have found such a caring and understanding guy like Luka.

As they sat together, Marinette recounted the story of how she and Luka had first met and how their love had blossomed over the past five months. Her friends were thrilled to hear about all the romantic moments that had passed between them.

Alya, ever the curious journalist, couldn't help but ask, "So, what's the secret to your successful relationship? How have you managed to stay in love?"

Luka smiled at Marinette, then looked to Alya and Nino. "I think it's about being there for each other," he answered. "We listen to each other and understand each other's needs. It's all about communication, really."

Marinette couldn't help but nod in agreement. "And, trusting each other," she added. "Luka has been so supportive of everything I do, and I know I can always count on him."
